Ugh too many. Lol. Mainly roads here. Saucony Hurricane 24s for easy runs. Cushiony and supportive. Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s and Adidas Boston 12s for tempo and intervals. The ES4s have 220+ miles on them and are becoming less snappy so I started rotating the B12s in a few weeks ago. Adidas Adios Pro 4 for racing.

I’ve had the the Saucony ES4 and ES5 in my rotation and love my Adidas Adios Pro 4s.

I love the SB2s and have the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 in my rotation. They feel less bouncy than SB2 and definitely quicker turnover IME.

My rotation is mainly asics... Daily trainer - Gel kayano 32, Max cushion - Gel nimbus 26s, Tempo/speed - Saucony endorphin speed 4s, but I've heard good things about the Asics magic speeds, and superblasts can handle reasonable speeds well too, Race - metaspeed edge, look into metaspeed sky too depending on how you run

r/AskRunningShoeGeeksWide footed runners. What is your go to speed day shoe?

Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 / Pro 4 work for me. I have a wide forefoot - slight Hallux plus Clavus besides the 5th toe are causing the wideness (I am rather narrow around the ankles and midfoot). Saucony seem to work for me in general, whereas Hoka in 2E don't.

r/AskRunningShoeGeeksShould I add the Nike Vomero Plus to my collection if I already have a pair of Nimbus?

There are so many good options out there it’s hard for me to toss one in The 1080v15, Saucony Ride/Triumph, ASICS Novablast, Puma Velocity Nitro, 860/880 from NB, Brooks Ghost, Ghost Max, or the Glycerin. The main goal is that the drop should be slightly different, and the foam being a different feel to help reduce muscle fatigue and exercise other stress For me I have been rotating between the Vomero 18 (daily miles, walking, steady runs) and the Brooks Glycerin Max (easy runs/long runs) For my speed work I am using the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4

r/BeginnersRunningDoes anyone over-pronate but stick to neutral shoes?

Not being silly! The brooks adrenaline 24 also gave me such bad blisters on my arches. I wear the saucony endorphin speed 4s on my tempo and track days which is a “neutral” shoe and have zero issues. And I severely overpronate, my ankles roll in quite a bit. I will say on easy days I do use a stability shoe, the saucony guides. They are the most comfortable shoe I’ve put on and I don’t think the stability is super aggressive. I searched high and low for another pair of 17s to have in hand. Love them!

I just bought a pair of Adidas EVO SI. I like to wear them for easy runs and tempo workouts. I also have Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s in my rotation now, which I use for intervals and tempo runs. Is there a model in the adidas collection that I could replace the endorphin speeds with? Something firm, stable and medium cushion?

Yep, Saucony makes some great shoes. I love my Endorphin Speed 4s, but the damn toe box is just a little to narrow and unforgiving for my pinky toe on long runs.

r/AskRunningShoeGeeksLong run shoe that's fast and fun?

Poppy for sure. For long runs, for me, they are too fast and tire me out before the cardio tires me out. I’m not sure that makes too much sense written out

I use it for long runs and alternated it with NB5 which I have retired in favor of Puma Velocity 4 which arrives tomorrow. For speed work and anything above tempo I use Endorphin Speed 4 and 3-4 miles, no more than that though

r/AskRunningShoeGeeksFast but stable half marathon shoes for a heavy runner

Neither are very cushioned but out of all of the speed based shoes I’ve tried and I’ve tried a fare few endorphin speed 4 and sonic blast the latter I’ve been very surprised about feels slightly firm at the heel but I find them excellent for tempo and have not had any niggles injury wise also the magmax 2 is a great cushioned option which you can pick up the pace a little in

Also I over pronate I’ve tried quite a few shoes that are “ exciting” couldn’t resist but never get along with any of them including the Evo SL with that cut out but the endorphin speed 4 was great along with sonic blast the pro 4 is very similar I believe

My experience with supershoes is that they don't feel all that super at slower paces (I'll say 8min/mile+, but obviously that'll vary). My recommendation - stick with the ES4. But keep an eye out for any deals on supershoes - every few months something will pop up for 30% off or so.
