TL;DR: Versatile and stable, but midsole loses pop over time.

I love the SB2s and have the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 in my rotation. They feel less bouncy than SB2 and definitely quicker turnover IME.

I’ve had the the Saucony ES4 and ES5 in my rotation and love my Adidas Adios Pro 4s.

I have these and they are reliable and quality distance shoes. I run road marathons in them. I’d like to get a pair of the pros but haven’t tried those yet.

They haven’t updated the foam in 4 years, tweaked but same foam compound since version 1. Saucony is doing a whole refresh of foams in 2026 for half the line.

Did you get any bunching of the upper at the bottom of the laces? mine is bunching lots but the non wide version is way to tight. The tongue is also very small and i almost can't do a runners knot

New marathon prep, New shoe rotation Easy Runs - Nike Vomero Plus Tempo Runs - Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 Long $uns - Brooke Hyperion Max 3 And thinking of upgrading from my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 to the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 (see screenshot). Would you guys recommend this or is there something simmar to look at? I am looking for a fast shoe with some stability?

Vomero plus, the other 2 are more tempo/race fit shoes

I'm so glad to hear that your story is similar to mine! You know, I started out with the Ghost 17, and then I got the EVO SL because of all the buzz around it. I got an awesome deal, too! But after a while, I started to notice some stability issues. I don't have any pain, but I can tell you that it doesn't feel good to run in them. I'm currently rocking a rotation with Ghost, Superblast 2, and Endorphin Speed 5. I'm sticking with Ghost until the Ghost AMP drops. I'm so happy to tell you that they all feel much better in terms of stability. I'm also thinking about the Salomon Aeroglide 4s as a possible replacement for the Ghosts.

I had no problem with either one, and I'm happy to say that both were very stable. The Saucony's feel just as good, too. I just had a few issues with the Evo SLs.
