I purchased 2 Bobsweep, one for myself & one for my mother. Returned them both, side brush kept falling off, but vacuum would keep going, so had to search all over, under furniture, for missing side brush. Called customer service, they instructed me how to fix it. The fix was temporary.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->I don’t have experience with Ecovacs, but I did get a bobsweep on sale and I don’t use the mapping feature or app. I live in a tiny studio so there’s not a whole lot to clean but I’m disabled so every little bit helps. After reading the poor app reviews, I read that you don’t have to use the app, it has a “go” button that you press and it does the rest, including emptying itself at the home base. After watching it a couple of times I noticed that it does it’s best to get all the edges of an area first, then gets the middle, and when the battery starts to get low it goes back to empty and recharge. I don’t use the mop feature (I heard this brand isn’t the greatest for that) but it vacuums well. Whatever you buy make sure you get an answer about how to use your vacuum without an app and how it performs. I’m actually glad I don’t need the app and can just push the button. Some prefer the app for mapping and having a schedule set automatically for a cleaning but in my case it’s unnecessary.
r/RobotVacuums • Are Ecovacs robovacs really that bad? ->I was so excited to get the new robot! I had the Eufy E28 for an entire 3 DAYS. Would not vac or mop under my kitchen cabinets, nor under dining chairs, would randomly go back to an area it had already cleaned. The mopping was not very good, tile flooring. So disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. Anyway, I packed it up and returned it, cost me $70 for discount shipping label. I had a BobSweep from Home Depot that did better, but it didn’t have the auto empty and fill, and it was just a little mop pad velcroed on that you had to change after every mopping. I’m going to wait awhile before trying another. I’m waiting to see what SwitchBot’s next one has, also Narwal Flow, and MOVA. I have to get a low profile bot, and with roller mop, and of course automatic plus all the bells and whistles.
r/RobotVacuums • Is eufy E28 good? ->I’ve tested five different brands Eufy was my favorite. My least favorite was the bobsweep. The LiDAR is what makes the biggest difference compared to other models. It rarely gets stuck on things and I have four cats, so there’s always toys on the floor.
r/adhdwomen • So, how often do you sweep and mop? Any advice? ->BOBSweep served my needs for a long time. I no longer swear by any robot however, because they cannot replace a standard vacuum IMO. Because pet hair is not confined to the floor, & lint rollers fail to thoroughly clean furniture, I still prefer having a more powerful tool with attachments for furniture etc. Bissell is a great brand though I don't even know if they have a robot.
r/homeowners • What robot vacuums for pet hair do you absolutely swear by? Good brands that you love? ->I have a bobsweep robot vac, love little Boobie! I get to press a button and feel like an adult. Also can’t say enough how life changing my litter robot was! I feel like a better pet parent because she doesn’t have to wait for me to scoop!
r/adhdwomen • So, how often do you sweep and mop? Any advice? ->I have a bobsweep also, my first robovac, purchased from Wayfair. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and I love it. In fact, I love it so much that I immediately bought a second vac, Shark for my upper level. The bobsweep ($85) is excellent for my needs(single small room, low-pile carpet). However, it’s navigation is poor, it runs into anything with legs, and does not vacuum in any sort of a pattern. It runs into something than turns in a different direction for an hour and a half cycle. It does a wonderful job vacuuming and picks up a lot of pet hair (one cat) on daily runs. The Shark ($300) has excellent navigation and avoided walls and furniture on the first run. Neither have mopping capabilities and I don’t have WiFi so I can’t speak to those features. We’ll see what happens in a couple of weeks at the one month deadline🫣.
