"The Dreame/Mova uses their "Hyper-stream duo brush" which pushes the hair out to one end of the roller where it gets sucked into the bin."
"Yes, it works for pets. ... Even the Aqua10 Track with 25kPa works. ... I have a short-haired dog and I use the Aqua10 Roller and Track daily, and for that part, it works."
"most pet friendly robot ... onboard fur compression feature ... antitangle dual brushes"

"the roller mop has much more contact with the ground since it’s shaped like caterpillar treads, exerts a lot more pressure at 18N than current roller mop models (ecovacs exert 10N which is less than the Narwal Freo Z, the Narwal Flow and Eufy’s E25/E28 exert 12N)"
"If the 3I S10 Ultra impresses you, the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track will be even better in every aspect other than having to refill and empty your water tanks."
"my tiles is so shiny and so clean ... the cleaning is wonderful on my tiles"

"I can confirm Dreame does reach the advertised hot water temperature listed (I tested myself with an electric thermometer connected to the area on the washboard where the water would flow from the pipes) and it usually hovers at about 5-10 °C below the advertised temperature before reaching it for a second or two."
"Dreame's latest Aqua 10 Pro Track now supports 100°C hot mopping with track mop instead of roller mop ... But, I think the washing temp is higher than most robot vacuums, which only wash at 70 to 90 degrees."
"It’s a track style mop that can actually keep the onboard water hot at I believe 45C and cleans the rollermop with 100c boiling water."

"much better obstacle avoidance from the binocular RGB cameras that avoids obstacles without needing to backtrack like all other Dreame and MOVA models and it seems Dreame’s obstacle avoidance is now on par with the Narwal Freo z based on Chinese KOL reviews"
"it has some of the best obstacle avoidance with its dual camera set up so you won't need to worry about rushing around picking things up after your kids!"
"I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck."

"If you mean mopping with warm water, yes it’s worth it as it helps get break down tougher stains easier. As far as I know, only the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track and the MOVA Z50 Ultra heat up the water to be dispensed on their track type roller mops."

"UPDATE: This morning I found the dust container clogged with hair and small pieces of paper. I tried to self-empty a couple of times but it didn't work and I had to empty it by hand. In firmware version 4.3.9_2995 there is no setting for high frequency emptying."
"The hairs started getting stuck between the rollers and the inlet of the bin. ... Coming from a iRobot S9+ it feels like the Aqua10 is designed to only vacuum breadcrumbs… now basically each run the hairs clump up in the inlet."
"The issue is with both the inlet to the bin inside the robot and the door of that bin to the base station bag that is too smal."

"I got this model for its ability to clear 8cm obstacles. Sometimes it manages to get up the 4cm + 3cm staggered step after the third attempt. ... I have 3 raised thresholds and it makes such a job getting over any of them - the crashing sound it makes on wooden floor boards is incredible."
"It says it can climb over at least 6cm but I have a deck chair which it avoids completely because it "tends to block the robot""
"You can set the technique it uses: hurdle (steps over) or synchronised (single leap). Hurdles is better for a bar, and synchronised for a step - but it is a single global setting - you can't choose which to use for the threshold!"

"It doesn't pass under a piece of furniture over 17cm high, I managed to get it to go by manually setting the low area and in any case it doesn't travel well under there. Then, same mobile but in another position there is just no way to make it go. Same thing under a very high sofa."
"It completely misses a corner of my kitchen. I sent it back to clean again and it still missed it. I waited a while and tried again and it missed it that time too."
"It gets hopelessly lost with the lidar retracted, you can see from the map that it thinks it is somewhere else entirely."

"However we were a bit amazed by the amount of dirt still found everywhere in our house. Especially near edges. Since we have quite some furniture with indented skirting boards. So all the dirt was basically moved over there."
It's already looking bad because I downloaded the Dreame app and not seeing the device in the list, I contacted customer service. They informed me that the release is only planned for the end of September and that the application will only be available at that time... They originally told me that it was not possible to have ordered the item on Amazon and that it was a scam and after checking, they changed their minds and do not understand how it is that the item is available and in Prime Amazon... They reported the problem to the technical service to find a solution so that I can use the vacuum cleaners upon receipt (tomorrow unless there is a delay...)... In any case, I told them that it was unthinkable to end up with 2 unusable bricks due to a logistical problem... I also looked on Amazon IT and DE and they just appeared in stock for delivery on Friday now... EDIT : oh Aqua10 Ultra TRACK Complete just appear on Amazon. For the moment, delivery with Prime at 6 october. Ref number white RLR81CE-1
Yes, it's been running every day since Wednesday. It's a good robot overall, but I'm still a little disappointed with the mop's performance on stubborn stains compared to my Eufy S1. Watching the Smartassitant review on YouTube, we can even see that the Mova Z60 is better than the Roller in this area. I did notice a difference, however, that it wasn't as good on stubborn stains (dry ketchup). Probably because the Eufy S1 Pro has almost the same pressure but rotates at 170 rpm compared to 100 rpm for the Dreame. The stain recognition algorithm largely compensates for this difference (as soon as it detects a stain, it slows down as it passes over it in several pass). I ordered an Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete at the end of last week to test the mop's performance with hot water and a pressure of 18N (instead of 9-11N for the Roller). On paper, it should be better. Afterwards, it loses a little in suction power and perhaps in navigation... It just shipped and according to Amazon tracking, it should arrive very soon. I hope to be able to try this out on Wednesday by doing side-by-side tests between the Roller and the Track.

Yes, it works for pets. Even the Aqua10 Track with 25kPa works. I have a short-haired dog and I use the Aqua10 Roller and Track daily, and for that part, it works. However, I don't know if the vacuums produce 25kPa and 30kPa. In any case, I don't see any greater improvement than a Eufy S1 Pro with 8kPa at MAX suction. I didn't understand when you were talking about it stopping if it blocks the way? If you're talking about if your dog goes in front of it, yes, it will go around it (and take a video of it if you activate the animal monitoring option) and if you activate the option to return at the end of cleaning on the blocking places, it will come back to clean this area at the end
Review of Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete His test, as well as his previous one on the Roller version, seems to confirm the rather notable difference in mop performance between the two versions. My personal tests (video available here [**https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Titux0yOX\_0**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Titux0yOX_0) \-https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1n6g8cw/after\_aqua10\_ultra\_roller\_complete\_i\_just ) also confirm this.
Then we also need to consider the Z60's recognition/navigation quality. Because we're talking raw performance here, but if the navigation isn't as good, you'll cover less ground. You have to weigh the pros and cons. Having not tried the Z60, I unfortunately can't compare it to the Roller or Track. But the Track gave me a much better impression than the Roller. Now, I'm waiting for Eufy's official announcement of the S2 because, based on the specs released in the press this morning, it looks just as good.
I can confidently say on LVT that roller/track mops work MUCH better than the older spinning mops! I’ve been through an L40, Eufy E25, Mova Z50 and now the Aqua10 track. I can echo the battery situ on the Dreame Aqua10 - 20-30mins of cleaning and it goes down to 49% battery.
If the Aqua10 comes on Blk Friday deal I’d say it’s worth a punt! Its nav is superior to even the Mova Z50 I had. It’s just overall smarter - I’ve not had to set where carpet/rugs are, it just sees them and deals with it 🤪 Curv models seem highly rated, I’d look at those too!
You can use one of the European Amazon sites and import the Z60! Not many available for import at the moment though, I’ve been watching for the Flow, Curv 2 and dji. Think I’m going to send the Aqua10 pro track back…it’s mopping is great (edge cleaning not so much). Hoovering; it’s struggling to navigate our low like rug and last few runs it’s unable to self-position!!
Get a good robot vacuum, and then have a plug in vac to complement. Hand stick vac can then take over quick pick ups. I have a Sebo E3 I’d buy again in a heartbeat. Bagged vacs are better in terms of dust recirculation, the Dysons absolutely piss out smaller particles. And a Dreame Aqua 10 Track, which I got on sale and was 100% worth it both in terms of cleaning performance, and just generally having a tidier house day to day. My older Dyson stick vac comes out for quick crumbs, car cleaning, occasional diy clean up. If you have mostly hard floors or a split then I’d add a roller mop to the roster too. I have a Tineco, but when mine breaks I’d be looking at Narwal to replace.
Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track **
If in Singapore, mainland China, or Taiwan, I’d go for the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track as it’s the most pet friendly robot keeping the onboard fur compression feature and the antitangle dual brushes debuted on the X50 Ultra. My favorite feature would be the duosolution detergent tank where. If in the EU, UK, and Australia, the MOVA Z50 Ultra is a close second and will be able to clean closer to edges if you turn on MopSwing as the edge of the mop is really close to the edge of the robot so there’s a few mm uncovered from the edge.
Narwal flow’s release seems to have been delayed due to faults discovered by beta testers. I’d recommend waiting for the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track if you want to wait. Below is a comparison photo testing how the Narwal Flow (top panels) compares with the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track (bottom panels) when cleaning carpet with the optimal carpet settings turned on (cleaning twice in a checkerboard pattern and Narwal flow’s pressurized cleaning head being activated). Dreame’s track type roller mop (which was fine tuned over time with MOVA’s G20, G30, and the Z50 Ultra) also seems to be the leading solution since it can exert 18N of pressure when mopping (the most exerted by a roller mop robot and MOVA Z50 Ultra does the same) and can mop with warm water thanks to an onboard water heater heating it up to 45°C (Narwal’s 36°C claim is from the warm water filled at the station). https://preview.redd.it/ej07u60mjk5f1.jpeg?width=1436&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d20f83c2d8b38f54734ef4980fa94c1ff31bde87 Since you live in a home that is rather dusty, I’d check out the dreame L40S Ultra, L40S Pro Ultra, L/X50 Ultra and the MOVA V50 Ultra for the filter self cleaning function when autoemptying. Due to size constraints and the addition of a track type roller mop, the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track uses a different autoempty system and lacks the filter self cleaning function. If there’s a threshold higher than 3cm, I’d recommend the MOVA V50 Ultra, Dreame X50 Ultra, and the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track. If choosing between the MOVA V50 Ultra and the Dreame X50 Ultra, the MOVA V50 Ultra is the better flagship for near-identical models as the vacuuming performance was improved over the x50 Ultra and has the duosolution detergent tank which is well suited for homes needing odors to neutralize since there’s another tank for odor neutralizing detergent. The fact that it can dry the dustbin and dustbag is also a plus for mildew control. The mopping has been improved with tilting mop pads (up to 5°) to automatically adjust to the floor level and can spin up to 260RPM over the X50’s maximum of 180RPM if it detects a liquid or dried on mess. If you want a roller mop robot right now, the eufy E25/E28 or the MOVA Z50 Ultra is a good choice. The MOVA Z50 Ultra will mop more thoroughly though and will know when to clean its mops better with the onboard turbidity sensor facing the mop. If you want to compare the MOVA Z50 Ultra to the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track, the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track should be slightly better for raw mopping performance (only difference is warmer water when mopping), better edge cleaning with an extendable mop (still not as good as spinning mops which is common for roller mop robots with an extending mop), better at antitangling with the double anti tangle brushes (both models’ mop scrapers are comb shaped to help with any potential tangles and I haven’t seen this on roller mop robots from other brands), much better self cleaning (100°C mop cleaning with a PTC plate, dustbin and dustbag drying, and the duosolution tank), better vacuuming, much better obstacle avoidance from the binocular RGB cameras that avoids obstacles without needing to backtrack like all other Dreame and MOVA models and it seems Dreame’s obstacle avoidance is now on par with the Narwal Freo z based on Chinese KOL reviews, and much better obstacle climbing with the ProLeap system .

Eufy is not mentioned because it does not have this capability. Best mopping: Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track and the MOVA Z50 Ultra has the best raw mopping performance. If your pets are stinky, the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track or the MOVA V50 Ultra will be my recommendation as it has the duosolution detergent tank which means it can use a special odor neutralizing solution or your regular floor cleaning solution based on your preferences set in the app. The MOVA V50 Ultra does mop better than the Dreame X50 Ultra because it can spin its mops up to 260rpm when it detects dried on stains and liquids and because it has a new mop pad holder that basically has suspension as it can go up 2mm and down 1mm downwards and tilt up to 5° to put as even pressure as possible on uneven floors. Honorable mention: Narwal Freo Z Ultra. Shame it cannot lift its side brushes. Variable mopping pressure of 8-12N but pales in comparison to the 18N of mopping pressure by the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track and the MOVA Z50 Ultra. Best software for detecting liquids and appropriately dealing with them: Dreame L/X40 and newer including the Aqua 10 pro track based on reviews. The MOVA Z50 ultra and the other MOVA models mentioned are also pretty good too at detecting liquids. Previously mentioned Roborock and Narwal models also seem to do well. I think all the models I mentioned should be on par for automatic remopping. Hardware: All models I mentioned should have a solid build quality.
It depends on tall your thresholds are: For single thresholds: Up to 2cm: most modern robots can cross with no difficulty Up to 2.2cm: Dreame L/X40 Ultra. The dreame models with the EasyLeap wheels (L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and the L50 Ultra) can cross the first threshold up to 2.2cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1.8cm Up to 3cm: roborock models with the AdaptLift chassis. It can cross a single threshold up to 3cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1cm. Up to 3.5cm: the MOVA P60 Pro Ultra (mainland china only for now) has active suspension like the roborock Adaptlift chassis and the EasyLeap edge climbing wheels to climb a single threshold up to 3.5cm and a secondary threshold up to 3.5cm. Up to 4.2cm: Dreame X50 Ultra, Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track, and the MOVA V50 Ultra all can cross a single threshold up to 4.2cm if the threshold is shorter than 9-10cm (5.2cm if the threshold is sufficiently long enough) and a secondary threshold up to 1.8cm.
For carpet, the dumber models like the Dyson VisNav 360 do much better but you’ll sacrifice a lot. Yes I’m seeing ads for a robot carpet cleaner. If you mean mopping with warm water, yes it’s worth it as it helps get break down tougher stains easier. As far as I know, only the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track and the MOVA Z50 Ultra heat up the water to be dispensed on their track type roller mops. Other robots fill it with warm water or in the case of Dreame’s S50 (not L50) and the X50 Enhanced Edition, uses thermally insulated mop pads and heats it up at the base station with a PTC plate that can heat it to 100°C so the mopping temperature is about 30-40°C for a few minutes or so.
This is the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track or the Narwal Flow. It can extend the mop but won’t be able to clean into corners as well as a spinning mop. It’s just a tradeoff.
A much better CleanGenius please with the ability for it to remop/revacuum areas more if needed. Better carpet cleaning, imagine if a dreame robot could vacuum carpets just as well as the robot by another D-name brand (Dyson) and be able to mop (either with the new hydrosync track type roller mop or just spinning mops). Variable mop pressure and that could work with CleanGenius depending on the types of flooring and if it’s facing dried on stains or liquid messes. Better battery life especially when just cleaning at the normal settings. I hope the Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn’t have the same issue as the X50 Ultra especially since it has an onboard water heater. I love the cute eyes on the Aqua 10 Pro Track and especially the station’s design! Would be awesome if it could somewhat blend into my furniture like iRobot’s J9+’s base station which looks like a small bedside stand. Pets like to sleep everywhere, would be nice if the clean missed areas function was automated if it detects a pet is blocking the way/area (user should have the choice to choose if this is the case).
In Singapore, I’d totally recommend the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track Ultra if you want heated mopping and the vacuuming performance from the MOVA V50 Ultra and the mopping from the MOVA Z50 Ultra.
The MOVA Z50 Ultra is NOT the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track as the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track is a better all around combo robot. If you’re in Singapore (1699 SGD) or Taiwan, I’d recommend this model over the Z50 Ultra. The self cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping capabilities have been improved and the new features on the dreame one are better for pet owners~ The Z50 Ultra is also not in the US market but the Matic is.
I think the Narwal Freo Z Ultra is the “smartest” of them all for smart cleaning but won’t do so well for vacuuming as mopping is its key strength. The Matic seems to be rather smart too but it is US-only. Object avoidance: Dreame, eufy S1 Pro, and the Narwal Freo Z ultra will do the best. Narwal’s binocular RGB cameras mean it avoids them smoothly. Dreame’s own binocular RGB cameras on the Aqua 10 pro track show similar smoothness when avoiding obstacles. Hair and fur: Dreame and MOVA’s duostream brushes, eufy E25/E28 DuoDivide dupe brushes, roborock DuoDivide brushes, Narwal’s conical brush, > dreame TriCut brush
Firstly, try to find consumables on Taobao or AliExpress. These are widely available and cheaper The Aqua 10 pro track mops and vacuums better than the Narwal flow and will be better suited for pet households because of the fur compression feature and a bigger dustbin. The MOVA z50 ultra will mop better than the Narwal flow but not so sure about vacuuming. Both should have the same obstacle avoidance capability.
Dreame's Aqua 10 Pro Track will mop much better than the current ecovacs/eufy roller mop options, and vacuuming seems to be better than the Narwal Flow. Autorefill kits should be available from aliexpress when released in the US.
I think waiting for the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track is a good idea, current reviews in China show it's the best vacuum and mop robot with a roller mop (no clue about carpet cleaning) with the best self cleaning but it seems like other roller mop robots, it can't clean the filter as well as the dreame x50 line as the autoempty airpath has changed and has a smaller dustbin but has the fur compression function on the x50 ultra to compensate. Alternatively, you could check if the MOVA Z50 Ultra can be shipped to the Netherlands.
I'm not a fan of the side mop and the rather ugly base station, too. The Dreame Aqua 10 Pro track and the MOVA Z60 Pro comes with the fur compression feature which is good since their dustbins are much smaller than the X50 Ultra at 200mL and 210mL respectively.
The Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track is better at mopping since existing reviews of the MOVA Z50 Ultra (Z5 Pro) can be used a substitute since the only changed thing about the mop is an increased water temperature for mopping (36°C to 45°C) heated by the onboard water heater and the ability for the mop to extend. Here’s a grimy toilet tile floor being cleaned by the MOVA Z5 Pro in a Chinese KOL review where the reviewer tried to give it tests harder than other robot roller mops (they have an ecovacs bias likely due to a brand deal). After 2 passes, only the edges weren’t clean since the edge cleaning option wasn’t turned on (other KOL reviews found the butt wiggle option for cleaning edges cleaned well and was time efficient). The photo shows the robot in the middle of its first round. https://preview.redd.it/ngznw3eo9v5f1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=325cdb20d9ce5b3949004e6a1b6ade81f62cd379 For edge cleaning, do not expect any roller mop robot to clean closer edges as well as spinning mop robots due to the plastic casing on the side. Dreame looks like it leaves about a few mm uncovered because of the cautious algorithm with the Narwal flow being slightly closer to the edges. For corner mop extending, the Dreame Aqua 10 pro track does better. The algorithm for roller mops extending is much more cautious out of fear it’ll damage furniture with the plastic casing. [https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/1906412705881003088](https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/1906412705881003088) This “review” tests the edge cleaning issue in detail but refuses to test the rest of the Dreame Aqua 10 pro track by claiming that track type roller mop robots are currently awful and bashes the Narwal flow but later posts a review that praises the Narwal flow and recommends it.
There’s also the dreame Aqua 10 ultra track coming out with an onboard water heater that heats the water up to 45°C when it is mopping.
1. It really depends on your purchasing region. Costco is a popular choice given its generous return policy but choices are rather limited compared to buying from Amazon which has an easy return policy within 30 days. For other purchasing regions, buying from a reputable retailer with a good return policy and an optional protection plan would be good. In Australia, I heard Harvey Norman is nicer with returns compared to JB HIFI. 2. The robots with the best self cleaning will be Dreame’s L/X50 Ultra/L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and MOVA’s V50 Ultra P50S Ultra > MOVA’s P50 Ultra/ Pro Ultra > Roborock’s models that have spinning mops with the Multifunctional Dock 3.0 (roborock models with a vibrating mop have a washboard that is more difficult to clean as you can’t remove it) ≈ Narwal Freo models (completely detachable base) > Dreame’s models with the mop-driven wiper mop washboard (cleaning the wiper washboard is rather difficult since there’s too many nooks and crannies and you’d still have to get down to clean the areas the wipers can’t reach) > other combo robots with an all in one base station As for combo robots with roller mops and have an all in one base station, the washboard is generally flat with a few grooves so it’s pretty easy to clean. I believe most of their washboards are removable. However, it’ll require more cleaning in the mop compartment and dirty water tank. Most roller mop models have an annoying cylindrical component which drives the roller mop like an upright wet dry vacuum but you can’t remove or move it to give it a deeper clean even if gunk is stuck on it. The only combos that are close to the level of self cleaning for spinning mop models are Dreame’s Aqua 10 Pro track, the MOVA Z50 Ultra, and the Narwal Flow since both have self-cleaning mechanisms that are made to also clean the dirty water tank and the mop compartment while also having a very easy to clean mop compartment since the thing that moves the mops is also completely removable. If you want to support a US startup, you could look at the Matic since it’s a vacuum and mop robot but taking care of it looks rather easy since it lacks a base station. The maintenance involved is replacing the bag, refilling the water with a cleaning solution of choice, occasionally cleaning the roller mop, the roller mop filter, cleaning the brush roller and de clogging the mop tubes if needed.
The dreame Aqua 10 pro track only washes the mops with 100°c. It can mop with 45°C water.
Mopping capability: the MOVA Z60 ultra and the Dreame Aqua 10 ultra track Vacuuming: they should all be about the same (the Aqua 10 pro track is more prone to picking up debris with the mop though) Mapping and navigation is going to be firmware dependent.
As far as I know, only the Dreame Aqua 10 pro track, x50 ultra, l50 ultra (not the l50 pro ultra, confusing I know), the MOVA V50 Ultra and the P50S pro ultra can climb a single threshold up to 4.2cm unassisted with a second threshold up to 1.8cm.
Yep the track mops better.
Narwal’s the first to add a little blender in there but MOVA’s G20, G30, and the Z50 pro with the new dreame Aqua 10 pro track also flush the dirty water tank with clean water with a sprinkler like outlet.
For a combo model, I’d recommend the Dreame or MOVA models with fur compression since they do much better with dealing with fur than the older dustbin design where fur would get clogged in the middle but still have empty space on the sides.
There also is the dreame Aqua 10 ultra track (also called the pro track in south east Asia or track S in Australia). It exerts 18N of downwards force when mopping. MOVA did send me their z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program. The Z60 ultra roller exerts 17N of downwards force when mopping. Both robots exert higher downwards force when mopping. The roborock QRevo Curv 2 Flow also exerts higher downwards force at 15N but it currently is only in Australia and mainland China.
There aren’t enough reviews on the Curv 2 Flow so I can’t say anything about it. The Aqua 10 ultra track also isn’t released as widely as the Z60 ultra roller. I am noticing that some people are reporting the base station is leaking and can’t autoempty. I do have the Z60 ultra roller complete and did run it rather extensively (43,000sqft/4000sqm). The floors do feel more squeaky clean. It could clean up ice cream splattered by my dog with most of it gone in 1 pass and the stragglers being picked up the second pass. With dried on mustard ( about 10mL), most of it was rehydrated in the first pass, mostly removed in the second pass, and completely removed and grease free after the third pass. My review of it should come out before Black Friday is here :)
The Aqua 10 ultra track is good too, it’s just that it’s not widely as available and the leaking base station makes me hesitant to recommend it. I do see people say that the z60 ultra’s autoempty port clogs but I’ve never experienced this.
The MOVA z50 ultra advertised 36°C and the Dreame Aqua 10 pro/ultra track advertises 45°C with onboard water heaters. The Narwal flow advertises filling the onboard water tank with 45°C water.
If only dreame actually spent more time on the robot’s software and quality control before release… I found the MOVA app to be easier to use with them actually implementing suggestions from users (the ability to customize how often the z60 models autoempty from once every 5-15sqm was suggested by a beta tester and was quickly implemented) but I do not believe any of the Dreame Aqua robots have such a feature in the app.
> I also remember seeing that some docks run hot air through the bag to stop odors, although I can't find anything about this. That’ll be the Freo Z ultra, Narwal flow, Aqua 10 ultra track, Aqua 10 roller/ultra roller (widespread leaking base issue due to a design flaw), and the MOVA V50 Ultra.
The Freo Z ultra is a great mopper as a spinning mop robot but it uses quite a bit of water so I’d connect it to my plumbing and it’s vacuuming isn’t as good. Its antitangle brush is pretty good.
I like how Jamie Andrews tests aspects that are advertised for quality of life (self cleaning the dock and using hot water) whereas vacuumwars simply rattles them off like a sales brief checklist. I can confirm Dreame does reach the advertised hot water temperature listed (I tested myself with an electric thermometer connected to the area on the washboard where the water would flow from the pipes) and it usually hovers at about 5-10°C below the advertised temperature before reaching it for a second or two. Don’t know about the new AceClean dock as I don’t have it but Dreame told me any misplacement of the temperature probes will result in measuring errors of more than 10°C.
I highly recommend combo robots if your parents walk around the house barefoot, it greatly improves the feel! The combo robots I found best for keeping itself clean are the dreame and MOVA robots with the filter self cleaning function and the flat washboard. I was able to get away with making my MOVA V50 run everyday for 3 months without a noticeable change in cleanliness. After that it’ll be and the roborock Curv 2 Pro and the Narwal spinning mop robots which generally consume more water than the other options. The app is going to be a challenge for them but you can set it up for them and put it on a schedule so they won’t have to open the app at all.
Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.

Due to my rusty english and lack of time - translated by chat gpt. Believe it or not ;D updates on the bottom. I rarely write anything on the Internet, but since I’ve spent the last month reading user reviews on Reddit, I decided to contribute my own experience — maybe it will help someone choose the right robot vacuum during Black Week. Over the past month, against my will, I basically became a tester of robot vacuums. I had the Dreame Aqua Roller, Dreame Aqua Track, Mova Z60, and now the Narwal Flow. Some I bought, some I borrowed. TLDR – to my surprise, the Narwal Flow won by a landslide (even though I’ve only had it for 2 days). On paper, the Dreame and Mova products look much better. I’m also sure that roller technology is the future, because it *should* mop best. Unfortunately, the released models are underdeveloped and you really should wait until the hardware and software are improved before buying them. **Dreame Aqua Roller** was defective — the base was leaking. I’m quite forgiving, so I decided to put it on tiles and just let it leak. Shortly after, it started scratching my laminate floors badly because the brush cage stopped lifting evenly — after just 5 days of testing, the entire underside of the robot was full of scratches. I decided it made no sense to keep it, especially considering the price. I returned it. Still believing that Dreame was the right choice, I bought **Dreame Aqua Track**. The mopping was worse than the Roller — it left a lot of streaks, and you could see lines on the floor from the tracker. Fine — I would have tolerated that because I was already tired of swapping vacuums. But the robot started leaking — drops were falling from the back every second while it was moving. I checked everything possible and concluded that it was a common issue, so I would have had to send it in for repair. This was a big problem not only because the entire floor was covered in water droplets, but because when the robot got stuck on a sock, the entire water tank emptied onto the floor. If I hadn’t been home, I probably would have had to replace my floor. Total deal breaker. I returned it and lost another €50 because it was classified as a used return. I didn’t give up, still believing Dreame was superior to other models. So I ordered the **Mova Z60** — reviews were decent, no complaints online about leaks, only about navigation. Fine — if it drives well and mops well, I’ll be satisfied. At first, I was delighted (except for the look — it looks cheap, not premium). It mopped nicely and left a fresh feeling. From time to time it left behind too much water, because it was starting to mop with too wet mop roller (probably to be solved with firmware upgrade). Its downside was noise, but still tolerable. It didn’t get stuck, I had no complaints about navigation. It didn’t heat the water for mopping, but that didn’t affect quality — if anything, it was an advantage because it could run longer on a single charge (Dreame Track couldn’t vacuum + mop my house on one battery…). However, during cleaning, when the suction power increased, you could often smell plastic. Unfortunately, after just a week of use — while cleaning the base (which itself was a downside, because Mova’s base doesn’t self-clean the mop pad platform, so lots of sand accumulates and you basically need to clean it every two days) — I found a failure. Or rather, a small failure that would certainly turn into a big one: the part of the robot inside the roller was completely scratched, discoloured, and clearly smelled like burnt plastic. The roller itself also looked terrible — after just one week of use. I assume it was due to increased suction and mopping intensity, which led to excessive wear. The underside was also quite scratched. Again, only a week of use, and not even daily. Angry, I returned that robot too. Not wanting to miss current Black Friday deals, I had to choose something else. I considered the Saros 10r because my Roborock S5 still works after 9 years. I thought about the Dreame X50, but by then I already disliked their products. I also didn’t want round mopping pads — I still stubbornly wanted a roller/tracker. I chose the **Narwal Flow**, even though there aren’t many user reviews and positive opinions. I assumed that’s simply because people rarely bother writing online when something *actually works*. Narwal Flow turned out to be exactly what I was looking for — a hassle-free, trouble-free robot that really mops well. The base isn’t beautiful, but it's made of hard plastic and looks stable and durable. The robot reminds me of R2D2, which is a plus. Nothing leaks, nothing smells like plastic. A downside compared to previous models is that you have to add detergent manually into the water tank — but on the other hand, every robot I tested earlier had auto-dispensing with two detergents, and yet the liquid never actually decreased in the tanks! So maybe this is better — I can add more detergent myself and be sure it will actually be used. Navigation is excellent — the Narwal is decisive, doesn’t hesitate, and moves surprisingly fast. Most importantly — it is extremely quiet in every mode (yesterday I vacuumed and mopped with my 3-year-old asleep nearby). It is noticeably quieter than all previously tested models. Cleaning is much faster then in Dreame and Mova. Another big advantage — low battery consumption and excellent cleaning time. On its very first run, the Narwal had 50% battery, and it managed to map the whole house (\~100 m²) and vacuum all of it (barely finishing, but still). Something completely impossible with Dreame or Mova. I just finished a full wet mop of the entire house — it took 1.5 hours and used 50% battery. No streaks, no water drops, even though it was done in the highest water-usage mode. The robot never got stuck, never fell into any trap. When it detects more dirt, it doesn’t just re-mop the spot, it re-mops the entire room — and on the second pass it moves in the opposite direction, giving better results. I’m honestly surprised how good this robot is. Of course, I’ve only used it for a short time, but so far the first impressions are excellent. If you’re hesitating, I wouldn’t risk Dreame or Mova — too big a chance you’ll get a unit you’ll end up returning, like I did (three times…). If you have any questions, I’ll try to answer when I have a moment. Narwal didn't pay me anything , im random user. if Narwal fails on me too I'll edit my post. And probably will return to my old Roborock s5 and hand mop... But for know, fingers crossed. ps. One last thing, price. When i bought Narwal i thought it was cheapest of all the models I tested. But i didn't check one thing - almost no accesories added to robot. So overall Narwal is more expensive then newest Dreame and Mova. Still - for me it's the best robot so I don't care. Edit: height of each model is similiar, narwal has 9.5cm, dreames and mova 9,7. Apparently this 2mm does the job because narwal cleans under all my furniture, just like my old roborock , and dreames were not able to do that. Base cleaning - not as good as i thought, found hair and mud there after 2 days of stress tests. Luckily its easy to take platform from the robot and clean it under sink (in mova it was similiar). update 2: im using flow for 4 days now. 2 problems found, annoying but not deal breakers for me. \- tracker started generating squeeky noise. thought before it was wheel, but no. Cleaning helped for a bit but 2 days later sound was heard again. Maybe wd40 will help, but this is part that cleans floor , so it sounds problematic. Flow advantage was that it silent, now i have doubts. \- flow keeps detecting carpet where there is no carpet - only tiles with some colors. Sometimes it detects carpet in whole room, sometimes 1m2 etc. Theoretically it should be no problem, but flow on default ignores carpet, dossnt clean it. In app only fix is to pit manually carpet in whole room - but then it only vacums room, doesnt mop. So for now 2 rooms in my home will not be mopped. Annoying as hell. Rather not deal breaker for me, hope it will be repaired through upgrade... but still annoying.
Hi all. Just wanted to share my experience with the Aqua10 Ultra Track after three weeks of usage and wondering if there is anyone with suggestions. Because currently I am thinking about returning the device. My situation: 50 square meters of living area and kitchen. Hardwood floors and one low pile carpet in the living room. 4 people in the family and one short haired German Shepherd dog. The map created is divided in 4 areas and the vacuum start cleaning the carpet in the living room first and then does a combined vacuum and mopping session for the whole house. Initially we were pretty impressed by the vacuum, mainly because of the mopping capabilities. Although I got a bit worried seeing some droplets throughout my house, especially after the report in here about the roller version. But at least the dock stays drie and the drops do not leave any stains or whatsoever. However we were a bit amazed by the amount of dirt still found everywhere in our house. Especially near edges. Since we have quite some furniture with indented skirting boards. So all the dirt was basically moved over there. After the second session I noticed that actually there was more dirt in the corners and edges than before and I figured the Aqua10 was just not vacuuming anything at all. So I opened the vacuum and actually found out the bin was completely full. Although it did regular emptying sessions at the dock. So then I found the outlet to the dock was fully blocked with hairs and I cleaned it. After a second run in blocked again. I cleaned it. Added extra zones to the map and put the empty frequency to the highest setting. This helped getting the bin correctly emptied, but now a new issue was introduced. The hairs started getting stuck between the rollers and the inlet of the bin. So I removed the hair and was amazed by how small the actual inlet is. Coming from a iRobot S9+ it feels like the Aqua10 is designed to only vacuum breadcrumbs… now basically each run the hairs clump up in the inlet. Sometimes already at the start when doing the cleaning of the carpet, sometimes halfway through the whole session. I am quite frustrated now with the results. Especially since my old iRobot is outperforming this way more expensive new machine. Next to that it is also advertised as a pet friendly device. I saw that older Dreame models had the option to buy cutting rollers, but they don’t exist for this model. I added a picture of the result during one session. Is there anything I can do to reduce this. And if I future the vacuum and would exchange it with something like the Narwal Flow wil I run into similar issues? Thanks!
Well mine was just picked up this morning for a return. A lot of useful tips in this thread. But ultimately they are just silly workarounds for something that should work out of the box. I created workflows for cleaning with smaller zones, this kind off worked. But it drained the battery twice as fast and you cannot say just vacuum or do a combo or do a thorough clean. You then need to create separate workflows for each type of cleaning. And at the end of the day my wife just wants to press the clean button. So no back to the iRobot for a while. And looking for other options. Might go Eufy E28 or the new S2. Since they allow for emptying after a certain amount of square meters vacuumed. Or the Roborock Saros 10R since this robot has a much bigger inlet / outlet in the dustbin. I also saw the DJI Romo unboxing on YouTube and this one has a vertical dustbin positioning with a large in and outlet, but DJI has no track record on robot vacs so don’t really want to jump on board to soon 😀
I have three large dogs and lots of fur. I run the vacuum every day and had this issue especially because I was trying to clean the rug in my bedroom and it takes multiple passes to get the fur off the rug. I eventually got a very very knowledgeable and helpful person at Dreame to help. She suggested setting up shortcuts. I now have a shortcut for a zone that includes that rug with three separate tasks all to clean that zone. It goes back to the base and empties the bin after each run. It didn't do that when I had it set to clean the same area multiple times. The issue is there is no sensor to tell the robot that the bin is full. So, try the shortcut option. It really made a difference for me.
That's not what I did exactly. My main issue was a large 8' x 10' rug in my bedroom. It's a fur magnet. So I have a shortcut which has three tasks each one a single clean of the rug. That then sends the robot back to the base to empty each time. I have a second shortcut to clean the rest for the room and the closet and bathroom a single time but I vacuum and then mop. That shortcut is just for convenience because I don't need the rug cleaned again. I could have included it in the first shortcut. You will need to experiment with how much area the robot can clean before filling up the bin and then add each of those areas as a task in the shortcuts. The whole point is to get the robot to return to the base before it gets too full and can't empty properly or overflows into the rollers. You can have the entire area split into separate tasks in a single shortcut if that is how you plan to use the robot every day or have separate shortcuts for different areas if you don't think you want to run it everywhere every day.
Actually, here are the exact instructions I received and they may be easier to follow than my description: Given your multiple pets and likely spacious home, high hair density may cause the dust bin to fill up mid-clean. To solve this: When mapping your home, divide large rooms into smaller zones (e.g., split the living room into Zones A, B, and C). Assign each zone to one of the 3 tasks in Shortcut “X”: Task 1: Clean Zone A once Task 2: Clean Zone B once Task 3: Clean Zone C once Result: Scheduling the “X” shortcut will make the device clean each zone sequentially, emptying dust after every zone. This prevents overfilling even in hair-heavy areas. You can fully DIY the number of tasks and zone sizes to fit your needs—this flexibility is key to reducing clogs. For step-by-step setup, please refer to the attached guide on shortcut operations(Shortcut Setting Guide )
The roller and track mops are awesome and totally replace mopping. The disk mop type do not. If you get a Dreme Aqua, do not get one with the roller guard/drip guard. The roller has this. The "track" does not. Get the Aqua 10 track. Or the ecovacs omni roller. Or eufy e25. Reason..... The aqua 10 roller guard can drag and scratch the floor. It doesn't scratch tiles, but it will scratch urethaned or wooden floors. I'm about to take mine apart and remove the roller guard. I wish I got the aqua track model or a roller but a different brand that doesn't have the guard, like eufy e25. The Dreame app is slow and takes patience, but hey once it's set up and tweaked, you don't have to use it too often. But a snappier app would be nice
