Yes, it works for pets. Even the Aqua10 Track with 25kPa works. I have a short-haired dog and I use the Aqua10 Roller and Track daily, and for that part, it works. However, I don't know if the vacuums produce 25kPa and 30kPa. In any case, I don't see any greater improvement than a Eufy S1 Pro with 8kPa at MAX suction. I didn't understand when you were talking about it stopping if it blocks the way? If you're talking about if your dog goes in front of it, yes, it will go around it (and take a video of it if you activate the animal monitoring option) and if you activate the option to return at the end of cleaning on the blocking places, it will come back to clean this area at the end

We just got the dreame aqua10 roller So far: It has a pet mode (we haven't tested yet) that is supposed to avoid pets as well, but alas, our dog avoids the vacuum already It avoids humans - worked It detects risky obstacles - so far it hasnt gotten stuck yet and has correctly put locations where cables are on the map, once I forgot to put shoes on top of the stairs and it detected and pinned those on the map too, it avoided running them over. It also detects when it goes from hard floor to rugs and when it goes under a tight lower space It did cover considerable floor space without charging first time we ran it was 57m² at normal speed + mopping, we ran it a second time in sequence but it then did 42m² and had to charge. During its normal process it will go between the dock and last place cleaned to empty and rinse. It has various levels of sucking you can set it to and you can chose to mop + vacuum, only mop, only vacuum, and choose rooms or specific spots. It has its own light so even with lights off or under the broader corner couch it will just keep running without issues. We did worry bc it did a test run and tried to go up our (cross shaped) table legs but once it had done all mapping, it perfectly avoided it. With more complex tighter spaces it will attempt to go clean as closely as possible, at various attempts but didnt get stuck. It also did a software update immediately once we connected it after unboxing, I assume it will also keep its detection AI updated. We read reviews that the roller dock did leak in some rare instances, but another review mentioned a newer run doesn't have the same issue, so we bit the bullet and ours is still leak proof at least. You have to refill and empty the water reservoirs after each use as recommended, but it does save a lot of effort. Only downsides so far: - expensive refills - but it's like once 6 months roughly according to the manual... Well see, fiancee thinks it is worth it - Spot cleaning by hand for sticky spots still works best, and you might want to do manual cleaning of tight corners and spots it can't come every once in a while. But it def saves in upkeep, I don't think other vacs do it better probs - When it vacuums rugs it vacuums a bit louder - It is reaaallly loud when it vacuums the robot reservoir in the docking station.

Idk if it is true but if you have the means, there was mention it could be connected to your plumbing, but there's no proper spots to try that in our house so I skipped it

You will not find any that have a fabulous customer service. I am very happy with the Mobius 60 so far. I also have tried the dreame matrix 10, mova z60, narwal flow, and the dream aqua 10 roller. The rollers mop a little better (but all had failures within a month, except the narwal which couldn't map my house well and got stuck under my furniture).

My Aqua10 Roller is not very convincing either. the navigation is really poor. I’ve had to remap the layout several times and it keeps ending up outside the mapped area (probably because it can’t handle things properly without the laser tower). Cleaning along the protruding edges in the kitchen is also bad, what’s the point of having that arm then? Right now there is not really much, thats better compared to my Roborock S7MaxV Ultra. The quality also leaves much to be desired. I had two DOA units, and the third one seems to be working… for now.

I think the battery would be ok if it wasnt so slow… 😅

I’m an happy owner of dreame aqua 10 roller. No leak or navigation issue. It runs everyday with vacuum and mop. Some little issue with a low couch: every run is quite different than the previous one but for me it’s not a real problem

I usually use mop after vac with personalized clean. I have saw with clean genius that the time cleaning is shorther than custom. I dunno why. My version is: https://preview.redd.it/3yg9o5oq4uuf1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca6dfc4cdb4e16864eadd97e5a5b7c98c5d61050

Great review! I really appreciate all the details and pictures. I have the Dreame Aqua10 roller and it doesn’t like going under my kitchen cabinets. I want it to hug my baseboard and really touch the edge like in your photo of your kitchen cabinets. I turned off collision avoidance mode but it didn’t get any closer. Side brush and mop extension are set to high frequency. I’m thinking maybe it’s the lidar sensing it can’t quite fit all the way under. I’m wondering if the MovaZ60 would do better since the lidar can lower? Does the MovaZ60 really hug and bump under the kitchen cabinets? My old Roborock will get right up against the baseboards just like your photo but my Dreame will not regardless of settings. So I’m a little disappointed because this doesn’t feel like an upgrade. I really don’t want to remap the whole house again. I have manually driven the robot under the cabinets but the map doesn’t change. The robot will not fit completely under the cabinets because of the lidar height but I believe the navigation should be better and it should hug closer. I’m literally just talking about another 1-2 inches closer to the baseboard. I’m just wondering if I should buy the Mova to test it out but I feel like you already know the answers to my questions because of your testing. I’m happy with the Dreame otherwise and I believe they can fix this through software. I’ll attach a photo of a completed job. The photo is a bit misleading because it shows it cleaned the edges in the kitchen but it’s still not getting close enough for me. I’ve highlighted in red where I believe it should hug closer. Thanks for the help! https://preview.redd.it/7dfnepl2676g1.jpeg?width=1206&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3b9ec94670f907f1015691ab8bcce457436021f

A lot of what you’re seeing on Aqua 10 Roller is software/map logic, not hardware. Quick fixes that usually help: • Add **Low Area** zones under furniture so the lidar retracts, and approach them straight on. • For thresholds, set **Hurdle** for bars / **Synchronized** for steps; sadly it’s global. • If carpets get wet, set **Carpet protection → Avoid during mopping** and delete any bad carpet shapes, then re-add. • “Ghost walls”/missed corners: **turn off obstacle avoidance**, then **backup map → remap once** (or restore a good backup). • CleanGenius skipping wash/history: run a task in **Custom** mode once, then re-enable CleanGenius. • Damp smell: lower water level, run **Self-clean + Dry**, empty/rinse the dirty tank/roller trough, and leave dock doors open to air out. If you’re still fighting it on 4.3.9\_2995 after a clean remap, I’d return/exchange it.

Ciao!

Here’s what’s helped others: * **Manual fixes:** Set *Low Area* zones to force the lidar to retract under furniture, and approach those zones straight on. * **Threshold climbing:** Make sure to set *Hurdle Mode* or *Synchronized Crossing* (it’s global, not per-zone, unfortunately). * **Missed zones or ghost walls:** Turn off obstacle avoidance, back up the map, and do a clean remap. * **Carpet issues:** Delete and re-add carpets using *automatic detection*—manual carpets stop the roller early. * **CleanGenius skipping cleaning:** This usually gets fixed after running a full *Custom Mode* clean once. * **Damp dock/smell:** Lower water usage, use *Self-Clean + Dry*, and open dock doors to air out. If you’ve done all that and you’re still on firmware 4.3.9\_2995? That’s supposed to fix a bunch. If not, I’d recommend returning or exchanging while you still can.

Honest take: * If you have **multiple cats**, the Aqua 10 series just isn’t the best match right now. * Spinning-pad models (X40/X50/Matrix) handle pet hair far more predictably and keep the dock cleaner. * Many pet owners who switch away from the roller end up much happier. If you’re still within return or exchange window, that’s a very reasonable move. This feels less like a defect and more like a **design mismatch for pet-heavy homes**, despite the marketing.

Just as an fyi for other buyers, my experience: this robot does a great job cleaning, when it cleans. It is 50/50 whether it gets stuck on a threshold ramp, and is 50/50 whether it decides it can extend legs and get over a 1cm threshold (which is designed up to 8, 4+4cm). Support has been useless re. Fixes and were looking to refund. Pathing is shocking and will spend a lot of time cleaning rooms in the most bizarre way. Lastly, when going to a new room it vacuums the entire way wasting charge (frustrating when it needs to charge twice to clean our house on minimum settings). With a dog it has jammed up the vacuum hole with dog fur even though running daily (seems to be a design issue). Overall I would NOT purchase again, even though my mum has one as well and it works perfectly (more open plan without thresholds). When it cleans though, it does a good job, but can just get stuck or not clean rooms.
