DREAME D10 Plus Gen 2 is $179 on Amazon right now. It’s great vacuum and empties itself. The mop is pretty much useless though.
I have the Costco Dreame Govac 508. I like it. Does a great job. I see reliability issues though but buying from Costco relieves me of that worry since they will take it back no matter what.
It really depends on the dog. Some dogs tolerate it, some dogs don’t care for it and other dogs absolutely hate it. I have a Jack Russell Terrier who would try to completely destroy this vacuum. It’s all in their personality however, they can be trained to tolerate it more and more (typically with treats).
I also have a dreame the TriCut brush is the reason why it’s good with the hair. Also have had mine for a year. I’ll add this YouTube channel and website called vacuum wars. It has a lot of really good reviews that directly compare robot vacuums with repeatable and measurable tests. https://youtube.com/@vacuumwars?si=joWQDzPzN35Y_B8o https://vacuumwars.com/
Really need to know budget and type of flooring you have. For hard floors at $200 I recommend the Dreame d10 plus gen 2. It has lidar which in my opinion is a must no matter what robot you choose. Can’t speak on longevity. I haven’t had it long but i am obsessed with it. Look at YouTube reviews. That really helped with my search. Good luck!
Just got mine yesterday. I am so happy with it, lots of pets. I do put the dogs outside because not worth the chance. Cats aren’t bothered by it. D10 plus Gen 2. Hardwood floors, very small rugs. 3 maps. Doesn’t get lost. Vacs great, the mop is not a deep clean its just dragging a wet pad but still great for dust. I love her so much.
We've been using an Ecovacs X1 Omni for a few years now and it works well, but it struggles with pet hair tangles. Based on the YouTube review below, we picked up a Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 and holy cow the difference is night and day. If you go Dreame, make sure you get the tricut brush as well, it's what really changes things. We have two Goldens running around the house, and now that I've set up the D10 with tricut brush to run at night right before the X1 Omni, the hair tumbleweeds are gone and I no longer have to clean hair out of the vacuum rollers. I'd highly recommend something from Dreame that includes mopping to fit your needs 👍 TL;DR: Non-carpet flooring with pets? Get a Dreame vacuum and a Tricut brush. Check for Home Assistant compatibility first. Most but not all of them are integrable. https://youtu.be/kF1y2rLqAGM
We have 2x English Creams, 60-70 lbs each. I've only ever used three robo vacs, but the [Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2](https://a.co/d/0djQK0tF) is by far the best I've tried. Make sure you get the [TriCut brush]( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSPL121C) as well. The one I linked is a knock off which I got because I was cheap, but it does work! Hair still gets tangled around the ends and the brush eventually clogs, but I only clean it once every 2-3 weeks vs every day or close to it with the other vacs. The vacuum runs twice a day. No more fur tumbleweeds! Edit to add: We bought this in July of '25. So far it's showing no signs of slowing down and we've had no issues!
