"significantly worse object avoidance than than the Dreame x40 and L40 ... The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."

"The X40 is so far ahead in the object avoidance realm that it's not even a contest. ... I have my Dreame X40 running at midnight every day and never have to worry about it getting stuck on something or caught on something because it's object avoidance works so well, even in the dark and on all surfaces. ... It stays clear of cat toys, cords, socks, paper towels and all sorts of random household junk. ... the fact that I can run the Dreame daily will keep my house cleaner."

"The obstacle avoidance is also very good and I only have the pet in house setting on for pet messes and it recognizes my fake dog poop all the time and drive around it."

"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."

"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."

"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"It picks up all the cat fur, all the dog fur, all the litter, all the human hair."

"I have one teenager who’s messy and a dog who sheds like it’s her job. It’s been a game changer."

"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."

"it's a dream/works so well. ... I am shocked (kinda disgusted at times!) at how much it picks up."

"They are dumb little tanks and for the size of their tiny little Motors they are beasts they will suck up a whole pad of Post-it notes in a heartbeat!"

"The Kirby would beat them all in a sand test"

"it's durable ... the parts still work well ... out of all the robo vacs I have owned and used it's the only one I have yet to replace a single part for (dust bin just once)."

"It has truly been a set it and forget it system. ... It just works for everything."

"it just works. ... I don't have glitch issues, connection issues, compatibility issues, or anything else. ... I look at it as I paid for something that just works without that frustration of something that cost less that has quirks."

"on carpet not quiet ... dumping the bin is very loud. Like I wouldn't watch a movie with it on."

"the base station is really loud. ... Watch out for that if you are wanting to run it at night. ... When emptying into the base station it's incredibly loud."

"just be warned it's a jet engine when it empties."

"I can't get my q7 max to connect to my phone anymore. ... It's so frustrating."

"I have to use google assistant to schedule run times. If I use the app, it runs whenever it wants ... That’s exactly what’s happening with mine."

"And right after 1 year, the WiFi dropped all of a sudden. And I can’t get it to connect to my network. Tried everything."

"for the love of God please don get a roomba combo model. They don work… ever."

"don't buy the I3 unless you live in an empty room"

"made me realize how shitty the Shark was. ... primarily it cleans way better"

"the mapping is problematic. ... I tested it at my home and had the same mapping issue. ... While it cleaned great, the mapping is not. ... The S1 was solid for about 30 cleans, then it just went nuts. ... Eufy said the space needed more obstacles. I tired cones places throughout. That didn help. ... It is being returned and I m trying a mova next."

"The map would constantly get messed up and I would have to make it remap my house every week."

"It was awful at remapping and I would have to babysit it for hours while it did it."

"there is a major design flaw - the dirty water from mopping is pulled into the waste tank right next to the an air-only sucking pipe (which is how the dirty water is sucked up from the mop pad cleaning tray at the bottom). This air-intake is *right next to* the dirty water inlet, and so what happens is water accidentally sprays into the line to the air pump, and it will over time fail. ... This will usually happen after 2-3 months. ... Many people reported it online, it's definitely a design flaw, and is frustrating as it would be an easy design update for Xiaomi. ... Once it fails unless Xiaomi agree to replace the whole thing you are going to have a lot of hassle with their warranty repairs. ... So despite loving the device, I would not recommend it to anyone."

"I'd just steer round the Xiaomi X20+,there seems to be a failing dock water pump issue that still seems to be current."

Iyan ba sagad ng budget mo? If yes, [Dreame D9 Max Gen 2 Robot Vacuum ](https://s.shopee.ph/20j11qodL1) ang best option, top of the line robot vacuum talaga. 4k PA suction power niya kaya ensured sa paglilinis. May app connectivity na rin kaya less hassle sa pag-setup. Low noise siya if I'm not mistaken and HEPA filter na rin. But our Robot Vacuum is from ILIFE, we have the [ILIFE A20 Robot Vacuum](https://s.shopee.ph/4AnVc3wFOM).

I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.

Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.

Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.

ah i just made an assumption based on the fact the one i have is really good and i assumed the newer one could only have improved, but i guess you know what they say about assumption. maybe consider the S8 max ultra? i believe it also gets good reviews though i cant promise its actually worth the extra over the S7 max ultra (i think its about £300 more for the 8 i know it has stronger suction (not always better, my dreame d9 max 2 has more than the s7 but its not as good) and the built in direct voice commands (rather than through google/alexa) but im not sure theres many other additions in general this thing is awesome, ill be interested to see how it does over an extended period as i too have long, very thick, very strong hair that sheds allover the house, it doesnt seem o have caused an issue yet but im sure it eventually will. its definitely much quieter than my dreame was well except for when it empties the dust bag when it sounds like a regular upright hoover for a few seconds. also i suspect youll find it even better performing than me as until i can afford to get them ripped out i have very thick pile carpets, itll work much better on a hard floor (it does in my kitchen which is stone tiles)

The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.

It's fun that obstacle avoidance became a marketing term. The roborock Master is just bad at avoiding obstacles, not sure why it's even mentioned as a feature. Almost no run where I don't have to free him of cords/cables or a hidden cat toy he 'found' under the sofa. My old Dreame D9 has no AI or 'obstacle avoidance ' and just has no issues and gets almost never stuck

I have this one as well, but the version without the self emptying deck. I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.
