The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... "there is a major design flaw - the dirty water from mopping is pulled into the waste tank right next to the an air-only sucking pipe (which is how the dirty water is sucked up from the mop pad cleaning tray at the bottom). This air-intake is *right next to* the dirty water inlet, and so what happens is water accidentally sprays into the line to the air pump, and it will over time fail. ... This will usually happen after 2-3 months. ... Many people reported it online, it's definitely a design flaw, and is frustrating as it would be an easy design update for Xiaomi. ... Once it fails unless Xiaomi agree to replace the whole thing you are going to have a lot of hassle with their warranty repairs. ... So despite loving the device, I would not recommend it to anyone."

May app connectivity na rin kaya less hassle sa pag-setup. Low noise siya if I'm not mistaken and HEPA filter na rin. But our Robot Vacuum is from ILIFE, we have the [ILIFE A20 Robot Vacuum](https://s.shopee.ph/4AnVc3wFOM). Kaya namin iyong Dreame but ito pinili namin dahil may 3 cleaning modes (smart navigation para sa large areas, edge mode for corners, and spot mode para sa maliliit ng parts lang). r/smarthome • Considering a robovac, is there anyone out there that truly frees you from having to clean the mop yourself? ->Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts? ->Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->ah i just made an assumption based on the fact the one i have is really good and i assumed the newer one could only have improved, but i guess you know what they say about assumption. maybe consider the S8 max ultra? i believe it also gets good reviews though i cant promise its actually worth the extra over the S7 max ultra (i think its about £300 more for the 8 i know it has stronger suction (not always better, my dreame d9 max 2 has more than the s7 but its not as good) and the built in direct voice commands (rather than through google/alexa) but im not sure theres many other additions in general this thing is awesome, ill be interested to see how it does over an extended period as i too have long, very thick, very strong hair that sheds allover the house, it doesnt seem o have caused an issue yet but im sure it eventually will. its definitely much quieter than my dreame was well except for when it empties the dust bag when it sounds like a regular upright hoover for a few seconds. also i suspect youll find it even better performing than me as until i can afford to get them ripped out i have very thick pile carpets, itll work much better on a hard floor (it does in my kitchen which is stone tiles)

The roborock Master is just bad at avoiding obstacles, not sure why it's even mentioned as a feature. Almost no run where I don't have to free him of cords/cables or a hidden cat toy he 'found' under the sofa. My old Dreame D9 has no AI or 'obstacle avoidance ' and just has no issues and gets almost never stuck

I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it.
