"The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! ... We're very happy with it."
"Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product."
"This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day."

Get a dreame which supports Valetudo and decloud it
> Dreame L10s How's the app on that one? I've got the D9 (I think), and the "Mi" app is a little lacking. The map tends to drift over time, and sometimes it "forgets" the map altogether. No HA integration here, no mods.
I have this one as well, but the version without the self emptying deck. I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.
My old dreame (liidar only) went through poop before so trust me, I get it. The mess... You can't expect it to be 100% perfect obviously. But it avoids cables and strings too, so it rarely gets tangled as well.

It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
I’m really satisfied with my Dreame navigation. It takes some time but I have the feeling it navigates better after some runs. I also tested the Narwal Flow and was really impressed. It drove around knowing where it was every single time. It was really confident when navigating and it never did the scanning where it currently is. My Dreame does this occasionally I think. But overall I don’t believe there’s much difference nowadays. Some work better than others, but amidst all modern models will do fine.
Currently upgraded to the Dreame mopping vacuum system robot that's operated with the phone. We love it.
The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
Roborock, dreame, movs are all more or less under Xiaomi company wise. They often share the same parts. That's why the similarities. You can also often use the game replacement parts from X on Y too.
Mova is the budget version but other than that they're basically identical.. I don't know where you're getting your info lol. You can literally take motors/brushes/sensors/subassemblies from some versions of let's say dreame and install them in roborock and vice versa... There's very small differences between all those companies.
I highly recommend combo robots if your parents walk around the house barefoot, it greatly improves the feel! The combo robots I found best for keeping itself clean are the dreame and MOVA robots with the filter self cleaning function and the flat washboard. I was able to get away with making my MOVA V50 run everyday for 3 months without a noticeable change in cleanliness. After that it’ll be and the roborock Curv 2 Pro and the Narwal spinning mop robots which generally consume more water than the other options. The app is going to be a challenge for them but you can set it up for them and put it on a schedule so they won’t have to open the app at all.
Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.
