I’d go for the GoVac 600 mainly because it’s from Costco and will do better with pet fur since it has the fur compression feature.
Definitely the GoVac 600, costco is pretty worry free
In your list, only the Narwal Freo Z ultra and the Dreame GoVac 500 have an RGB camera for obstacle avoidance. If avoiding things like cables, socks, towels, etc is a priority I’d consider those. The Narwal Freo Z ultra is a great mopper but likes to use a lot of water and the Dreame GoVac 500 is better at vacuuming but the mop washboard has more nooks and crannies. The GoVac 600 is a better bang for buck robot mainly because it has a detergent tank it can use to wash the mops.
The roborock models with Adaptlift can only cross a single threshold up to 3cm and a tiered threshold up to 4cm (3cm + 1cm). Only dreame and MOVA’s robots with their threshold climbing features (ProLeap and StepMaster) can cross higher single thresholds.
Dreame if you care about obstacle avoidance. Roborock still eats cables even on their flagship models. The govac will perform better
We bought a Dreame GoVac 600 from Costco about a month ago and haven’t been super happy with it. Our house is mostly hardwood and we are finding that the mopping is not great considering it’s not a low-end robot. We also found that it becomes very loud when moving quickly on the floor (ie when returning to dock) which is super annoying and something others have also had issues with. Ended up ordering a Narwal Flow 1 on sale and just waiting for it to arrive this week. Based on reviews we are thinking it will be much better at mopping and also supposed to be very quiet.
We have used a few spinning mops in the past (most recently Dreame Go Vac 600) but find that the track-style mop on the Narwal Flow 2 works much better. With the spinners, we could see the spin marks on the floor after cleaning, but the Flow 2 does not leave any noticeable marks/residue on our hardwood.
Not significantly deep texture by any means. We previously tried the Dreame GoVac 600 from Costco and this mops our floors a lot better.
You mentioned some Canadian Costco models what do you think about the Dreame Govac 600 (supposedly a L50 ultra) and the Roborock QX Revo Ultra. Currently I have the Dreame and it’s not able to get in its dock... I think I got a bad one and am debating getting an exchange or I just go with the Roborock. I have 2 double coated dogs and 80% hardwood flooring. If that help’s.
I’m liking my govac 600 so far but I’ve only had it a few days.
I just ordered to Dreame Go Vac 600 from Target on sale for $799. With my target card 5% back I get an $40 off. I sent an email to Dreame and they said it's the same machine as the Dream L50 Ultra (currently top of Vacuum Wars top robot vac list). The L50 Ulta is on sale for $999 on Dreame website and coupon code Guru10 knocks $100 off. I plan on not opening until all black friday sales are done in case it drops lower.
