https://valetudo.cloud/pages/general/supported-robots.html This is one of the best ways to get full local control of robot vacuums. I would keep to ones from this list. I have only ever owned one of these, the Dreame L10 Pro. Its pretty good for sweeping up dust and small stuff. I run it daily and its bin is nearly full after about a week or two. Its not great for mopping or picking up large items. I have fully tiled floors.

I have chairs with small aluminium legs and my old Dreame L10 Pro didnt notice them and he was bumping like idiot into them. I have hard floors and it avoids every dog toy and sends you a pic of it on your phone. Mopping is also amazing. So far, im very pleased.

I own 3 Golden Retrievers and live in an apartment, so they are 24/7 inside the house except for the walks, and let's also add the wife with long hair. My Dreame L10 Pro Plus (and my previous roborock qrevo as well) runs once or twice a day, vacuuming and mopping the floor of a 100 sqm apartment, every Sunday I clean the main brush from a few hair that gets tangled and I wash the mops and the washing pad. So, from my experience, if it's a well built robot it can easily clean the house daily without having to remove chunks of hair from it.
r/RobotVacuums • Am I expecting too much of my vacuum? ->My old dreame (liidar only) went through poop before so trust me, I get it. The mess... You can't expect it to be 100% perfect obviously. But it avoids cables and strings too, so it rarely gets tangled as well.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum are you getting? ->Did this and it’s perfect. The install is VERY involved and there’s some text that says “your thousand dollar robot is waste if you fuck up this part of the install” but once it’s done it’s amazing. All the advertised (by dreame) features work great including mapping, virtual zones, single room cleaning, schedules, etc are all great. You do definitely need to know what you’re doing though.

I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.
