I mean the BEST integration with Home Assistant comes from Valetudo but you'll need to root a robot for it. I rooted my Dreame L10 Pro in about 15 minutes with Valetudo's guide and now it works fantastically with HA. My D10s Plus was a little more difficult but I was just missing a step. Home Assistant tracks which room they're cleaning, displays live maps, and they both have completely custom voice packs and incredibly complex automations controlling them. Andddd they just take MQTT messages as commands. And when you have a rooted vacuum you have a linux box with wheels. Literally just get anything from this list: [https://valetudo.cloud/pages/general/supported-robots.html](https://valetudo.cloud/pages/general/supported-robots.html)
r/homeassistant • Advice for buying a new robot vacuum ->Understood - the L10 Pro is quite a bit better than the iLife he linked. The Multi-Floor support is rare, and really helpful. For its price the Dreametech L10 Pro seems to be the absolute best option.
r/homeassistant • Best robot vacuum for pet hair under $200 ->Could be worth rechecking. Im using the integration with my L10 pro and using it with my dreame home account!
r/homeassistant • What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? ->I got L10 pro, agree
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? ->That bad? I currently have a Dreame L10 Pro that is not much use for mopping but has great job obstacle avoidance and isn't bad for the price point but I now need solid mopping capability and improved suction and corner cleaning.
r/RobotVacuums • My Review of the new eufy E25 ->I got Master like 3 weeks ago and its perfect for me. I have chairs with small aluminium legs and my old Dreame L10 Pro didnt notice them and he was bumping like idiot into them. I have hard floors and it avoids every dog toy and sends you a pic of it on your phone. Mopping is also amazing. So far, im very pleased.
r/Roborock • Is the AI and obstacle avoidance really that bad? ->Seconded for the Dreame bots + Valetudo. I’ve got an L10 Pro that is adorable and 100% locally controlled.
r/homeassistant • Best automatic robot vacuum? ->Maybe it's the robot that doesn't perform well, I never heard that brand but I live in Italy and maybe that's why. I own 3 Golden Retrievers and live in an apartment, so they are 24/7 inside the house except for the walks, and let's also add the wife with long hair. My Dreame L10 Pro Plus (and my previous roborock qrevo as well) runs once or twice a day, vacuuming and mopping the floor of a 100 sqm apartment, every Sunday I clean the main brush from a few hair that gets tangled and I wash the mops and the washing pad. So, from my experience, if it's a well built robot it can easily clean the house daily without having to remove chunks of hair from it.
r/RobotVacuums • Am I expecting too much of my vacuum? ->I have been using three L10 pros since the end of 2021 and they are still working. Had to change one battery a month ago. Valetudo works great. However, the robots lose WiFi connectivity regularly even if they are located directly below an access point. So, all in all I am happy with the robots.
r/Dreame_Tech • Are Dreame Robot Vacuums really that bad? ->Do note you will have to clear out any tangles on the side of the brush from time to time. I recommend buying an officially refurbished dreame model L10 something model as you can use the TriCut brush and the self driven self cleaning mop washing tray with it.
r/Dreame_Tech • What are the best robot vacuums under $500 ->Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->I will 2nd the dreame L 10. I’m fucking amazed at how well it works. We have two dogs and three cats and my wife back moved, prior to buy a mess, daily as well as mopped a couple to few times a week. We wake up every morning with gorgeous clean floors. Like I said, I’m truly amazed. Recent cleaning https://i.imgur.com/BXWtZEn.png
r/RobotVacuums • Need RoboVac Recommendation Budget up to 700usd ->It depends on how much you consider your floors being really clean a life changer. I view it as a life changer, I've now bought 6 Dreame vacuums (everyone in my family now has one, and every one of them loves it), only one has given serious issues, the rest have been pretty problem free. I recommend trying to get at least the 20 series or better, it is a significantly better product then the older models. The L10 is quite weak on corners/wall edges (and needless to say the 40 is the best). I've used other brands in the past, and Dreame is easily the best experience I had by far. Their customer service does suck though for the one I had issues with. Buy from Amazon so you have a good return policy in case it doesn't work well early on. I believe if you buy starting Oct 1st, the return date will be 1/31/2025 so you know you got at least 4 months of a good warranty.
r/Dreame_Tech • Are dreame robot vacuums that bad ->I have this one as well, but the version without the self emptying deck. I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.
r/CleaningTips • Self emptying robot vacuums for homes with many pets? ->The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
r/homeimprovementideas • Robot vacuum for home - what is the best under $500 ->Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
