"I run it once a day, and mop a couple times a week. ... In fact, my wet/dry floor vacuum just died so its pulling even more work right now as it's the only real mop I now have, other than a Swiffer."
"My GOD am I glad I did. I had no idea how much I had been missing! ... We have 2 dogs and a cat, and live more rural. That means dirty paws folks, and a lot of them. The mopping and vacuuming has been no short of amazeballs. Not amazing. Amazeballs."
"The current champ of perfectly sparkling clean floors. ... Have 5 dogs tracking in dirt all day? Run this mop and go eat off the floor. That's how clean it is. ... Step aside spinny & vibration mops, this constantly clean roller mop is the champ. ... The mopping ability is light-years ahead of the Curv. ... The continously cleaning of fresh water is where is truly unique. ... You will be delighted and shocked on how amazing this E28 is. Its truly incomparable to any roborock. Get ready to start eating off your floors 😁😉"

"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."
"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."

"Yesterday my wife left a six way charger on the floor with six USB cables coming out of it and I think that the robot just vacuumed it and carried on and there was no photo but apparently no problem either."
"that can avoid this kind of problem."

"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."
"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"
"I absolutely do not regret buying the robot vacuum. ... My room is a lot cleaner and dust-free now, and I can tell just by wiping my floor with a wet toilet paper and seeing barely anything picked up. ... I've been getting allergens a ton less, most of which not even in my room. ... All this for the commitment of a weekly emptying is miles more convenient than vacuuming traditionally, as opposed to making a few taps on my phone. ... looking back it was definitely worth the investment."

"Unlike the Dreame, this Mova can clean the edges but by swinging like other robot models which is very effective but takes much longer."
"Toe kick cleaning is in my experience non-existent. Maybe mine are too low, I'll have to clean those 2 inches by hand."
"It also was not mopping correct. There was always a dry line between the two mops."

"one issue I had was that the app would close if someone called me, which can be a big problem mid-flight."
"Installing the DJI Fly app on Android was a bit of a nuisance too, it's not in Google Play so you have to go through a few hoops, that and there are about to be implemented some changes to Android that will make it even more difficult for third party apps to be installed if the developer doesn't want to have their app in the Play store."

"And it was a disaster on our cotton area rug, even on the lowest setting. I ended up with a ton of lint and a roughed-up rug!"
"My only real gripe with mine is that it’s not a very powerful vacuum at default settings. ... The 10R seems to struggle with picking up heavier, aerodynamic debris like rice grains or seeds, on its default settings."
"vacuuming and hair tangling is very poor."

"I’m about to order the dreame aqua 10 pro track as I’ve found the spinning mop pads scratch my wooden floors a bit."
"It also can lift the main and side brush when just mopping so the brushes don’t smear any liquid messes or absorb the water deposited by the mops which can buildup mud unlike the L10S Plus."
I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.
r/smarthome • Considering a robovac, is there anyone out there that truly frees you from having to clean the mop yourself? ->of these 3 the Dreame L10s Plus has spin mops which are better than the other two with their "drag rag" type mops. The N20 Pro's mop is gonna be a little better than the L60 since it vibrates back and fourth a little bit as it goes but the spin mops are the way to go IMO none of these have the self cleaning mop station of course but your gonna be spending a bit more for that function. If you can swing it the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is 899 USD and has the full service dock (washes and drys the mop pads, refills the water tank on the bot etc) and also has the corner extending mop arm to reach the corners better. worth the couple extra hundred IMO. I have a Eufy X10 pro which has the full service dock and I love it. I dont have to worry about manually filling the water tank or cleaning the pads (aside from swapping them out weekly to run through the washing machine) I snagged mine for 520 refurbished on ebay though.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendations for a RoboVac with good mop functionality ->Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts?
r/einfach_posten • Ein Tag Saugroboter - und schon jetzt möchte ich es nicht mehr missen ->L40 Ultra with current in store promotions will definitely make the decision a lot easier, since it can be had for $399 before tax, plus they throw in free gifts with purchase. It's a better overall model than the L10s with more suction, battery, better self washing and washboard cleaning as well. It's a steal for the price and if you were considering one over the other, I'd say overall L40 Ultra is a great value product in the market right now. Hope this helps narrow down the search a little for you, and if any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. happy hunting!
r/RobotVacuums • L10S Pro Ultra vs L40 Ultra ->The cheapest anti-tangling option is buying a dreame-made robot vacuum with the TriCut brush (easily found on AliExpress at a good price). This brush has consistently worked well in my household with a long-haired corgi that constantly sheds with long hair that is often longer than 12 inches. If you're considering one with an auto-empty dock and believe cat poop and vomit will never be an issue with your fingers crossed, I'd look at the Dreame L10S Plus (379 USD). However, suppose you'd really like to poop-proof your robot vacuum and want it to be able to avoid poop and vomit as much as possible to avoid any nasty cleanings. I'm afraid you'll have to increase your budget (not to 800 USD, don't worry!). In that case, I'd look at the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra (679 USD last time I checked), which is a rebranded and cheaper Dreame L40 Ultra with a larger battery. The ability to remove mops has been disabled, which is a non-issue since you have wood floors. As MOVA is a Dreame subbrand, the pretty poop-proof obstacle avoidance software that reviewers liked on the L40 Ultra and the X40 Ultra is shared with this MOVA model. It currently seems to be the best bang-for-buck combo model in the US. For the tricut brush, the tricut brush cover especially covers the non-brushing parts that are exposed to prevent hair and fur from tangling on the sides. In my use, it worked as advertised. In contrast, if you use a regular brush cover, it will expose the non-brushing main brush side cover, allowing hair and fur to tangle on the side. To get this, search for the Mijia M30S/M40/H40 brush cover. [https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1fzubob/brush\_covers\_for\_the\_tricut\_brush\_that\_prevent/](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1fzubob/brush_covers_for_the_tricut_brush_that_prevent/) About the Matic that was shamelessly self-promoted, I wouldn't get it. It's currently priced at 1000 USD, and since it's a startup, there's a huge chance of it going belly under while the app hasn't been officially released on iOS. I really wouldn't spend that much when it doesn't even seem to be able to sustain itself, while Dreame is currently valued at USD 2.3 billion with Xiaomi's backing, which seems to be better for longevity. Having to replace dust/dirty water diaper bags once a week with a proprietary subscription where it cannot be easily bought on AliExpress and TaoBao is a big negative, especially if you have a lot of fur to deal with. Users have also noted that hair tangles on the sides of the 'anti-tangle' main brush.
r/RobotVacuums • Which robot for long hair and cat hair and dust on hardwood floors? ->If it’s okay for you to wash and dry the mops after every mopping session and to dampen the mops before it mops, you could check out the Dreame [L10S Plus](https://www.dreametech.com/products/l10s-plus) (419). Replace the rubber brush with the brush that has black bristles and orange rubber and it’ll agitate the floor better. Since it has mop lifting, it’ll be able to vacuum first before mopping (my recommended cleaning mode).
r/RobotVacuums • 650 sqft Apt, no carpet, robot vacuum recommendations ->Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->I had a **Dreame L10s Plus** that suddenly stopped dispensing water. It could only be used for dry mopping. I tried to clean the nozzles, but that didn't help. The retailer told me to return it, which I did. Then I bought a **Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2**, which left large amounts of water on the wooden floor. Water drops would be an understatement. I tried all the settings in this area, but it always leaked water. Deactivating Mop Extend didn't help either. Cleaning the mops was very noisy and drying them was unbearable. Again, the dealer told me to return the device. And then I made the mistake of buying a **DREAME L40 Ultra AE**. It made constant beeping noises while mopping and also left water stains on the wooden floor. Cleaning the mops was also noisy and drying them was again unbearable. I returned this one too. So, for me, the Dreame chapter is closed forever. My only luck in this odyssey was that I bought from a customer friendly seller.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum for ~700-1200 USD in 2025 ->OK, so first of all, I have no brand loyalty towards either brand, in fact, I bought my first and only Roborock and Dreame robot vacuums when I moved into my new place. Before I bought them, I did a great amount of research, and the consensus seems to be that Roborock is the superior one mostly due to its more robust software. The models I bought were: Roborock Qrevo Edge and Dreame L10s Plus. Been using them both for about half a year. I bought the then top-of-the-range Roborock for downstairs with mostly timber and tiles (with two rooms with carpets), and the mid-range Dreame for upstairs with mostly carpets. I'm based in Australia so our selections are limited. I purposely looked for a high-end model for my downstairs and a mid-range model for my upstairs. Here's the spoiler: the Roborock is shockingly bad, whereas the Dreame works really well. I have to vent... I should caveat that my downstairs is a lot more challenging than my upstairs. But either way, I keep my house very tidy and clean in general. Having said that: The Dreame just works, I only use it for vacuuming, no mopping at all. Accessory maintenance is also extremely simple and straightforward, no tools required. The Roborock on the other hand: - It often gets stuck at odd places, like the bottom of a kitchen stool, or an internal door's door stop, or under my gym bench, etc. Once it even simply stopped in the middle of the floor where there was no obstacles at all... I now have to put a bunch of small exclusion zones on the map. - Contrary to what I read everywhere, the Roborock app is much slower compared to the Dreame's. The Dreame app opens quickly, and then you can click into the device which immediately opens up the map, and you can immediately go into the menus. The Roborock app on the other hand, has a longer splash screen for opening, then it spends a good 3-5 seconds loading the map, only then you're able to access its menus. This is on Android. - The map often gets "corrupted", like, somehow the whole map gets drifted and out of sync with the reality. So every now and then I have to get into the app to "restore" the saved map. - Changing the side brush requires a screwdriver, ok not great but not a biggy. But today when I was changing the main brush, I just discovered how awful this experience is. For Dreame, you just plug out the old main brush and plug in the new one, done in 5 seconds. For this Roborock, the main brush is made up of two brushes on each side, and each one has a tiny screw, and because I didn't know how fragile they were, the first time I unscrewed one, the screw actually dropped INSIDE the robot. Took me a good 10 minutes to shake it out. Then, once you unscrewed it, you have to get a plier to take out a core piece to insert into each replacement brush. The whole thing took minutes to complete even without dropping the screw... First world problems, I know. Suffice to say I am very disappointed with this Roborock. YMMV obviously, I'm sure there are heaps of happy Roborock customers but unfortunately I'm not one of them. :(
r/RobotVacuums • My experience with Roborock and Dreame - many surprises... a bit of a rant ->The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
