of these 3 the Dreame L10s Plus has spin mops which are better than the other two with their "drag rag" type mops. The N20 Pro's mop is gonna be a little better than the L60 since it vibrates back and fourth a little bit as it goes but the spin mops are the way to go IMO none of these have the self cleaning mop station of course but your gonna be spending a bit more for that function. If you can swing it the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is 899 USD and has the full service dock (washes and drys the mop pads, refills the water tank on the bot etc) and also has the corner extending mop arm to reach the corners better. worth the couple extra hundred IMO. I have a Eufy X10 pro which has the full service dock and I love it. I dont have to worry about manually filling the water tank or cleaning the pads (aside from swapping them out weekly to run through the washing machine) I snagged mine for 520 refurbished on ebay though.

The cheapest anti-tangling option is buying a dreame-made robot vacuum with the TriCut brush (easily found on AliExpress at a good price). This brush has consistently worked well in my household with a long-haired corgi that constantly sheds with long hair that is often longer than 12 inches. If you're considering one with an auto-empty dock and believe cat poop and vomit will never be an issue with your fingers crossed, I'd look at the Dreame L10S Plus (379 USD). However, suppose you'd really like to poop-proof your robot vacuum and want it to be able to avoid poop and vomit as much as possible to avoid any nasty cleanings. I'm afraid you'll have to increase your budget (not to 800 USD, don't worry!). In that case, I'd look at the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra (679 USD last time I checked), which is a rebranded and cheaper Dreame L40 Ultra with a larger battery. The ability to remove mops has been disabled, which is a non-issue since you have wood floors. As MOVA is a Dreame subbrand, the pretty poop-proof obstacle avoidance software that reviewers liked on the L40 Ultra and the X40 Ultra is shared with this MOVA model. It currently seems to be the best bang-for-buck combo model in the US. For the tricut brush, the tricut brush cover especially covers the non-brushing parts that are exposed to prevent hair and fur from tangling on the sides. In my use, it worked as advertised. In contrast, if you use a regular brush cover, it will expose the non-brushing main brush side cover, allowing hair and fur to tangle on the side. It's currently priced at 1000 USD, and since it's a startup, there's a huge chance of it going belly under while the app hasn't been officially released on iOS. I really wouldn't spend that much when it doesn't even seem to be able to sustain itself, while Dreame is currently valued at USD 2.3 billion with Xiaomi's backing, which seems to be better for longevity. Having to replace dust/dirty water diaper bags once a week with a proprietary subscription where it cannot be easily bought on AliExpress and TaoBao is a big negative, especially if you have a lot of fur to deal with. Users have also noted that hair tangles on the sides of the 'anti-tangle' main brush.

Xiaomi models made by dreame would be good. I had the Xiaomi S10+ as a housewarming gift and it worked great. You can use it with the dreame TriCut brush so fur will no longer get tangled with the brush. It’s cheap to get the real one on AliExpress. The price varies a lot by region though. It’s not very good at avoiding cables but good at mopping up my dog’s drool (you have to clean the mops afterward and dampen it before any mopping run). You could also consider the S20+ if you’d like it to be able to lift its mops. Both aren’t the best at obstacle avoidance as they are dreame models with some features castrated like a RGB camera for AI computer vision. It worked well at avoiding my dog’s decently big toys (4cm tall on the ground). If you want better obstacle avoidance you can look to the original dreame models like the Dreame L10s Pro Gen 2 Robot Vacuum (LDS only and 299). Do note you will have to clear out any tangles on the side of the brush from time to time. I recommend buying an officially refurbished dreame model L10 something model as you can use the TriCut brush and the self driven self cleaning mop washing tray with it.

If it’s okay for you to wash and dry the mops after every mopping session and to dampen the mops before it mops, you could check out the Dreame [L10S Plus](https://www.dreametech.com/products/l10s-plus) (419). Replace the rubber brush with the brush that has black bristles and orange rubber and it’ll agitate the floor better. Since it has mop lifting, it’ll be able to vacuum first before mopping (my recommended cleaning mode).

Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.

I have L10s Plus, which is the L10s Pro Gen2 with auto-emptying station. Quite happy with it, all things considered. I got it for £259 on sale on the Dreame website, for that price there's nothing better. I come from a bot without self-emptying station (Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro Plus) and I wasn't sure I needed one with. So my options were: - Dreame L10s Pro Gen2 - Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20+ - Dreame L10s Plus (which just costed £10 more than Pro Gen2) Reason why the only bot with self-emptying station considered is L10s Plus is because it's the one with the smallest station and still ticks all other boxes (i.e. front obstacles avoidance, side wall sensor, mops, available in white, available in the UK, below £400). I originally was convinced to go for the Xiaomi S20+ which in the UK has an extremely low price (£179), but I ended up not getting that because apparently for no reason whatsoever they've removed the option to do 2x cleaning. So I decided to go with the L10s Pro Gen2 which is its (almost twin) sibling (but with software by Dreame and with 2x/3x cleaning available)... But since the L10s Plus was just £10 more than L10s Pro Gen2, then I got the Plus. And I must say, I'm happy I did. I always thought I didn't want/need a self-emptying station, but now that I do have it... It's really really really convenient. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know :)

This is exactly the same as my L10s Plus - same rated "pa" value and same default brush (all rubber single brush). On carpet it's just awful and it behaves exactly like in your video - so annoying and irritating! I've found that using the mixed rubber/bristles brush that came with my old Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro+ (Mijia 1T), also manufactured by Dreame, the pickup ability on carpet becomes much much better. That's the same brush that comes for instance with the Dreame F9 and D9 (1st generation) and Mijia 1C. The type of "debris" you've shown, basically "slides off" the rubber brush and gets left there as the brush doesn't make traction on it to lift it. The long bristles help a lot, at least on my experience. Maybe have a go? My Roomba j7 Combo (not even an s9) used to do much better on carpet, thanks to the counter rotating rubber brushes, as they have a lot of tiny "notches" that really help with picking up stuff on carpet.

I bought the Dreame L10s plus with 7000pa and then the Dreame L10s ultra with 5300Pa… there is a huge difference in the suction power. The 7000pa was cleaning much better. So yes there is a difference in my own experience

I’m also very confused. First I bought the Dreame L10s plus but after one week the robot was making very loud odd noise so I got my money back. Then I bought the Dreame L10s ultra, but that one has an issue with the water not getting into the robot. So the floor didn’t get wet. I got the money back for that one too. Now I don’t know which one to buy. For me I also looking for a robot that are good mobbing. I’m looking for: Not less than 5/6000 Pa Internal Water tank in the robot is very important for me And with mop-pad-wash and cleaning I’m looking at Dreame L10s ultra, Roborock Qrevo S or Xiaomi X20 pro/max - but not decided yet 🙃

The first one I bought was Dreame L10s plus. Without mop wash but 7000Pa for about 500 euro. (Got a error and I returned it) Then I bought the L10s ultra with mop wash, but with 5300Pa for the same price. But now the plus is on sale for 350 euro (I’m form Denmark) The plus model does vacuum better with the 7000Pa in my opinion. The mopping is almost the same in my experience. (The ultra got an error so I returned that to. i haven’t bought a new one yet 😅, because I’m confused which one to buy now) So it also matter off sale and price in you’re country, and there are so many models to choose from. All with different errors as well

Maybe it's the robot that doesn't perform well, I never heard that brand but I live in Italy and maybe that's why. I own 3 Golden Retrievers and live in an apartment, so they are 24/7 inside the house except for the walks, and let's also add the wife with long hair. My Dreame L10 Pro Plus (and my previous roborock qrevo as well) runs once or twice a day, vacuuming and mopping the floor of a 100 sqm apartment, every Sunday I clean the main brush from a few hair that gets tangled and I wash the mops and the washing pad. So, from my experience, if it's a well built robot it can easily clean the house daily without having to remove chunks of hair from it.

I have 2 Dreame L10S, the gen 1 and the gen 2. about $400 each. they work very well and integrate into HA.

I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.

L40 Ultra with current in store promotions will definitely make the decision a lot easier, since it can be had for $399 before tax, plus they throw in free gifts with purchase. It's a better overall model than the L10s with more suction, battery, better self washing and washboard cleaning as well. It's a steal for the price and if you were considering one over the other, I'd say overall L40 Ultra is a great value product in the market right now. I don't recommend Dreame if you use an Android phone. I bought an L10s last year. It was connecting at first but after a reset it wouldn't connect to my Pixel at all. It did seem to work with my mother's iPhone but that wouldn't be useful for me so I returned it. The other big thing was that when I went to leave a negative review due to all the frustration, the review never got posted. I was fair and simply stated that for me it didn't work well with Android. I rewrote and submitted a few times; there was always a review waiting period but it was never posted. The fact that most of the Chinese robot vacuums are rated so highly on Amazon, and the fact that these companies are connected to Xiaomi has left me very suspicious that the reviews are being manipulated or bought. Many of the YouTube reviews also seem paid without any declaration of being sponsored. In contrast, the reviews from Rtings or news sites were so much more critical. I don't want to support these type of shady companies so instead I bought a Shark which I have to try soon.

Dreame l10S or l20 if you are trying to save money Dreame x30 if you have a little more money to spend Dreame X40/L40 if you want the best. If you only have hardfloors, the Eufy S1 pro I also like the QRevo Slim if you want something from Roborock but I am disappointed with its Object avoidance capabilities when compared to Dreame and Eufy. Roborock in general is quite trash at obstacle avoidance and it makes it hard for me to trust their vacuums to run on a schedule without having to babysit them but their hardware is solid and reliable. Skip the Eufy x10 that so many shills like. It's got a lot of features that look good but in reality they aren't very well implemented. I had two of them and Eufy partially refunded me for both of them due to my experience with them. Good customer support, but a bad vacuum design that struggles to pick up anything on hardfloors. I have two certified refurbished X40s and they were practically brand new, no sign of previous use. Also comes with 2 year third party warranty so you don't have to deal with dreame's questionable warranty support team. Based on how much you get from returning the shark and roomba, you can get 2 L10s robots or maybe one x30/x40. The Dreame vacuums are far better for the money due to their advanced features like object avoidance and they have good vacuum performance. Roborock has good vacuum performance but severely lacks in the object avoidance realm. Eufy has good object avoidance but not so great vacuum performance. iRobot and Shark are in a tier below Dreame, Roborock and Eufy.

I love my Dreame L10S. They have higher end models but this was the most I wanted to shell out.

From what I’ve heard the mopping is more or less useless on the l60 whereas the dreame having the dual rotation mops would perform great if it’s anything like the other dreame’s. You could also buy the dreame tricut brush from AliExpress if the hair cutting tool that the l60 has is something you want.

Personally, I think the X40 is a better deal, but I've had good luck with the Dreame refurbs from the eBay official store. Just keep in mind, they usually come in a beat up box and the units are not always thoroughly cleaned either. One of my l10s models came with a smelly dirty water tank because whomever returned it, didn't bother to get all the water out.

So I bought a q revo and dreame l10s and compared them directly and ended up keeping the l10s because it seems to do a better job of mopping (and is willing to mop in skinnier areas of my hard floor around rugs). I don't mind the worse app with dreame, it's completely usable and reliable, just with weird translations. I genuinely like the roborock carpets first feature but I don't miss it with scheduling. If you can afford the l40 ultra, that's what I would buy for the best features (hot water mop washing, self cleaning washboard, water turbidity sensor, mop extend & lifting brush, hair cutting roller). How much more expensive are the premier q revo models in your area (the master, slim, edge, curv)? If theyre the same price (or you can afford the slight increase) I'd get those for the best of both worlds: premier features and the superior roborock app.

Yeah with people making retail purchases like a robot vacuum, I would advise buying 2, trialing them, and returning one. It's a huge purchase so it should be perfect 🤷🏾‍♂️ If they have the credit/capital to do that ofc. I did that for the original q revo vs my dreame l10s. I didn't think the roborock commanded that $100 price difference at the time (for me).

Yes, I do. We have at home the Dreame L10S, very powerful, friendly with our pet, we have a dog that shed a lot of hair and it cleans like a champ. I think that the best features that could work for you and your family is that it's very quiet while working around, in addition to its auto empty feature. It's really a very good option.

Identify the features you want and go from there. Let the features drive the realistic price. For me that was Lidar, self-empty, mopping pads that spin and not just dragged behind. Those features ended up with me getting a Dreame L10s for around $700

The firmware doesn’t change in terms of features. The cloud gets replaced by valetudo locally. You can also get one and never hook it up to WiFi. I operated my dreams L10s for about two months by just pressing buttons before I rooted it.

No clue. Never used the first party app. I bought it, operated it without WiFi using the buttons for a while, the rooted it and connected it. This is the suggested way. No initial WiFi prevents enforced updates potentially closing the rooting option.

I will 2nd the dreame L 10. I’m fucking amazed at how well it works. We have two dogs and three cats and my wife back moved, prior to buy a mess, daily as well as mopped a couple to few times a week. L10 can clean 20m2 in 19 mins in real world use, L20 with more technical cleaning pushed that up to 29 mins, The L40 with the best cleaning and mop extras etc is 36 mins. The x40..... Same setup as the other 3.....47minutes and it doesn't to as good a job as the L10v2..... I'm just giving honest reviewing! I was very surprised the L40 smashed the x40!

YES. It is most definitely that bad. It’s bad on hard floors but god forbid you run it on a carpet. I have a video of it just plowing through fake dog poop on carpets. Edit: I have owned both the roomba j series and dreame l series, and both are so so much better.

For crevices, you need a robot with a bristle main brush. Dreame L series and Mova usually use rubber brushes, which, according to reviewers on YT, don't pick up dust in crevices well unlike bristle ones. Some Roborock model like Q5 Pro, Q8 Max, Qrevo S, and QV35A/S also uses a similar brush. I think if you don't mind with prices, E28 or E25 is a good candidate because its roller mop is superior. Roborock also has a new lineup called S5A which is the cheaper version of Qrevo Edge. Now it's $899 on Amazon. S5A uses a similar Duo Divide split brush as in Qrevo Edge and Eufy E28, a self-empty station, and obstacle avoidance but only using structured light without a live camera.

I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.

Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.

Just get the top level dreamebot or roborock (same company owns both). Their robots do an excellent job, and the app works really well!

Looks like you’re right, they are technically not both currently owned by xiaomi, but they share a ton of similarities. My coworker has a dreamebot and his app, replacement parts, features are nearly identical to my roborocks.

The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
