"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."
"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."
"splurge for the self emptying because if you have to empty it every time you're less likely to use it. We only have to empty ours like once a month and I have a 14mo and a 3yo who drop crumbs everywhere. ... we have a Shark with a large self emptying bin and that thing is great for the price point."

"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."
"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."
"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"the mopping is a game changer. ... It's shocking how dirty the waste water always is."
"My mom remarked that her slippers are squeaking on the floor because the machine did an excellent job at mopping."
"decent mopping with detergent support"

"Yesterday my wife left a six way charger on the floor with six USB cables coming out of it and I think that the robot just vacuumed it and carried on and there was no photo but apparently no problem either."
"that can avoid this kind of problem."
"avoids pet messes like a pro"

"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."
"I have an even thicker rug than this and my Curv has no issues ... It's the reason I bought mine because I have an even thicker rug than that and no robot could even climb onto it"
"I absolutely do not regret buying the robot vacuum. ... My room is a lot cleaner and dust-free now, and I can tell just by wiping my floor with a wet toilet paper and seeing barely anything picked up. ... I've been getting allergens a ton less, most of which not even in my room. ... All this for the commitment of a weekly emptying is miles more convenient than vacuuming traditionally, as opposed to making a few taps on my phone. ... looking back it was definitely worth the investment."

"after one week the robot was making very loud odd noise"
"broke down after two months ... couldn’t get it fixed on multiple attempts"
"The out of warranty repair cost was 75% of what a new one would cost so I chucked it."

"Unlike the Dreame, this Mova can clean the edges but by swinging like other robot models which is very effective but takes much longer."
"Toe kick cleaning is in my experience non-existent. Maybe mine are too low, I'll have to clean those 2 inches by hand."
"It also was not mopping correct. There was always a dry line between the two mops."

"one issue I had was that the app would close if someone called me, which can be a big problem mid-flight."
"Installing the DJI Fly app on Android was a bit of a nuisance too, it's not in Google Play so you have to go through a few hoops, that and there are about to be implemented some changes to Android that will make it even more difficult for third party apps to be installed if the developer doesn't want to have their app in the Play store."

"I’m about to order the dreame aqua 10 pro track as I’ve found the spinning mop pads scratch my wooden floors a bit."
"that you have to manually wash mop pads - I bought a few extras"
"you have to refill the water tank/empty dust bin more often (I’ll pause a mop cleaning to rinse pads between big rooms)"

"horrifically expensive"
"I tested Oura and returned it for this reason."
"price of replacement parts is a huge reason i recommend sebo vacuums. ... every time i have to look up a part for a miele vacuum i already know it ’s going to cost 3x-4x what it should."
I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.
r/smarthome • Considering a robovac, is there anyone out there that truly frees you from having to clean the mop yourself? ->Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts?
r/einfach_posten • Ein Tag Saugroboter - und schon jetzt möchte ich es nicht mehr missen ->L40 Ultra with current in store promotions will definitely make the decision a lot easier, since it can be had for $399 before tax, plus they throw in free gifts with purchase. It's a better overall model than the L10s with more suction, battery, better self washing and washboard cleaning as well. It's a steal for the price and if you were considering one over the other, I'd say overall L40 Ultra is a great value product in the market right now. Hope this helps narrow down the search a little for you, and if any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. happy hunting!
r/RobotVacuums • L10S Pro Ultra vs L40 Ultra ->Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations by Price Band - These are the robots I'd buy ->The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
r/homeimprovementideas • Robot vacuum for home - what is the best under $500 ->Return both and get a Dreame L10S certified refurbished: [https://www.ebay.com/str/dreameinnovation/Refurbished/\_i.html?store\_cat=48519196012&\_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211](https://www.ebay.com/str/dreameinnovation/Refurbished/_i.html?store_cat=48519196012&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211) Dreame is running a sale right now and with the coupon code, the L10s is like $300 which is a steal. I have two certified refurbished X40s and they were practically brand new, no sign of previous use. Also comes with 2 year third party warranty so you don't have to deal with dreame's questionable warranty support team. Based on how much you get from returning the shark and roomba, you can get 2 L10s robots or maybe one x30/x40. The Dreame vacuums are far better for the money due to their advanced features like object avoidance and they have good vacuum performance. Roborock has good vacuum performance but severely lacks in the object avoidance realm. Eufy has good object avoidance but not so great vacuum performance. iRobot and Shark are in a tier below Dreame, Roborock and Eufy.
r/RobotVacuums • Need advice on which vacuum to keep my ->I love my Dreame L10S. They have higher end models but this was the most I wanted to shell out.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->Thank you! I eventually ordered a Dreame l10s Pro, but I have some doubts, particularly after seeing videos like this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XebDiGqY5MM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XebDiGqY5MM) It's also an Ultra version of Dreame so not entirely accurate for my case. But I think that suction power is more or less the same for l10s Pro and S8. Not sure if it's accurate. Actually Roborock S8 and even S8 Pro would have comparable price in Armenia, and I could stretch a little bit and order Q8 Max+. But I thought that rotating mops would be somewhat better in most situations. Also, I don't have carpets.
