"There are a tricut main brush for it which cut long hair to prevent some issues with the brush ... After I replaced it with the tricut i have to clean it 1 time in a month. ... Totally worth the money"
"The L10S Ultra has got to be the value champion especially at the $320 refurb with 2 year warranty."
"I did that for the original q revo vs my dreame l10s. I didn't think the roborock commanded that $100 price difference at the time (for me)."

"Vorhin habe ich gemerkt, dass unser Modell sogar über das Rohrgestell von einem Wäscheständer drübergeht. ... Das war meine Befürchtung... das das Teil nicht über die Schwellen kommt. Vorhin ist es sogar über das Gestell von einer Wäschespinne gekrochen. Hat sich echt was getan. 😀 ... Aktuell klappt es ohne diese Einstellungen. Wenn der Roboter mal festhängt, fährt er selbständig zurück und versucht es nochmal mit mehr Schwung. In den 8 Stunden, in denen der kleine L10 jetzt lief, hing er noch nirgendwo fest. ... Immer wenn man denkt "Das schafft der nicht" rockt das Teil da über die Kanten."
"The performance of the dreames has been great, especially the object avoidance. ... The L40 especially is great at avoiding dog toys that get dropped in front of it"
"I would pick the Dreame l10S as it has obstacle avoidance that is as good as the Eufy x10 ... I think the obstacle avoidance is a very important feature to have if you want to run your robot on a schedule."

"auto empty feature"
"comes with an auto-empty base ... If your place gets dusty and you’re busy (or just hate emptying bins daily), the base makes life *so* much easier. You can go a couple of weeks without touching the robot. Totally worth it if that’s a pain point."
"This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day."

"Unlike the Dreame, this Mova can clean the edges but by swinging like other robot models which is very effective but takes much longer."
"It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors."
"The only thing that would be nice is the swing arm to get some better edge cleaning instead of it doing the little turn."

"I don't recommend Dreame if you use an Android phone. ... It was connecting at first but after a reset it wouldn't connect to my Pixel at all. ... It did seem to work with my mother's iPhone but that wouldn't be useful for me so I returned it. ... for me it didn't work well with Android."

"3" fibers but a little flat. All my robots this far have gotten bogged down on it. Roborock qrevo and dreame l10s at least made it off 🤷🏾♂️"
"It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors."
"Its mops don lift up high enough on medium length carpet"
I can second this, using Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, cleans better than maid, in terms for both mopping and brooming. We have both Glossy and Matt tiles, works better on Glossy tiles. The accessories do last up for months (3 at least), the only problem might be the cleaning liquid, it’s a bit expensive but you can clean mops yourself and spray Lizol and stuff on the floor if needed.
r/mumbai • Is getting a robot vacuum cleaner worth it? ->I just got the dreame L10 pro ultra, upgraded from a roomba i3 after getting so annoyed at it getting stuck all the time. I’ve got 2 cats, a dog, and a rabbit. I’ve never seen the floors so clean. You can literally feel the difference in bare feet. Not sure how the higher end models compare but my god this thing is awesome.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum right now? ->L40 Ultra with current in store promotions will definitely make the decision a lot easier, since it can be had for $399 before tax, plus they throw in free gifts with purchase. It's a better overall model than the L10s with more suction, battery, better self washing and washboard cleaning as well. It's a steal for the price and if you were considering one over the other, I'd say overall L40 Ultra is a great value product in the market right now. Hope this helps narrow down the search a little for you, and if any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. happy hunting!
r/RobotVacuums • L10S Pro Ultra vs L40 Ultra ->In this price range you can get a Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, currently for a good deal. Has a base station and rotary mop pads that will do a better job overall than the Philips and mopping. Similar battery life but the Dreame has better suction so it will be better for picking up things on carpet. worth looking into currently for the price.
r/RobotVacuums • Is Philips HomeRun 7000 a good deal for 300$ new? ->I like how Jamie Andrews tests aspects that are advertised for quality of life (self cleaning the dock and using hot water) whereas vacuumwars simply rattles them off like a sales brief checklist. I can confirm Dreame does reach the advertised hot water temperature listed (I tested myself with an electric thermometer connected to the area on the washboard where the water would flow from the pipes) and it usually hovers at about 5-10°C below the advertised temperature before reaching it for a second or two. Don’t know about the new AceClean dock as I don’t have it but Dreame told me any misplacement of the temperature probes will result in measuring errors of more than 10°C.
r/RobotVacuums • How do we feel about Vacuum Wars ratings? ->It depends on tall your thresholds are: For single thresholds: Up to 2cm: most modern robots can cross with no difficulty Up to 2.2cm: Dreame L/X40 Ultra. The dreame models with the EasyLeap wheels (L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and the L50 Ultra) can cross the first threshold up to 2.2cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1.8cm Up to 3cm: roborock models with the AdaptLift chassis. It can cross a single threshold up to 3cm and a secondary threshold right after up to 1cm. Up to 3.5cm: the MOVA P60 Pro Ultra (mainland china only for now) has active suspension like the roborock Adaptlift chassis and the EasyLeap edge climbing wheels to climb a single threshold up to 3.5cm and a secondary threshold up to 3.5cm. Up to 4.2cm: Dreame X50 Ultra, Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track, and the MOVA V50 Ultra all can cross a single threshold up to 4.2cm if the threshold is shorter than 9-10cm (5.2cm if the threshold is sufficiently long enough) and a secondary threshold up to 1.8cm.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robovac that'll cross thresholds? ->Both the S20 Ultra and L10S Pro Ultra Heat have RGB cameras. Only the S20 has a led fill light for dark environments, the L10S Pro Ultra doesn’t. I don’t think the obstacle avoidance on both machines will be as good as the X40 Ultra though. L10S Pro Ultra heat has warm water mop washing and mop extension.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame, Roborock, Mova, or Eufy? ->The dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat is really nice with long hair with the TriCut brush and the TriCut brush cover but will get hair tangled in the side brush but this is easily removable. QRevo Master will have hair stuck on sides of brush but all-rubber brushes are also pretty good at resisting tangles on the brush. I think the Q Revo Master would be better than this specific dreame model at obstacle avoidance but you’d still have to tidy up wires and what not as roborock likes to have the wires take off its mops for some reason.
r/Roborock • ROBOROCK Qrevo Master OR DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat ->L10S Pro Ultra Heat can clean the mops, dry them and autoempty the dustbin but that’s about it for cleaning itself. These other robots can clean the mop washboard which cleans the mop and usually can get dirty as the plastic nubs that rub against the mops will trap dirt. Some can clean the filter by blowing air against the filter when autoemptying.
r/Dreame_Tech • Buy L10s Pro UH or go higher? ->1. It really depends on your purchasing region. Costco is a popular choice given its generous return policy but choices are rather limited compared to buying from Amazon which has an easy return policy within 30 days. For other purchasing regions, buying from a reputable retailer with a good return policy and an optional protection plan would be good. In Australia, I heard Harvey Norman is nicer with returns compared to JB HIFI. 2. The robots with the best self cleaning will be Dreame’s L/X50 Ultra/L40S Ultra/Pro Ultra and MOVA’s V50 Ultra P50S Ultra > MOVA’s P50 Ultra/ Pro Ultra > Roborock’s models that have spinning mops with the Multifunctional Dock 3.0 (roborock models with a vibrating mop have a washboard that is more difficult to clean as you can’t remove it) ≈ Narwal Freo models (completely detachable base) > Dreame’s models with the mop-driven wiper mop washboard (cleaning the wiper washboard is rather difficult since there’s too many nooks and crannies and you’d still have to get down to clean the areas the wipers can’t reach) > other combo robots with an all in one base station As for combo robots with roller mops and have an all in one base station, the washboard is generally flat with a few grooves so it’s pretty easy to clean. I believe most of their washboards are removable. However, it’ll require more cleaning in the mop compartment and dirty water tank. Most roller mop models have an annoying cylindrical component which drives the roller mop like an upright wet dry vacuum but you can’t remove or move it to give it a deeper clean even if gunk is stuck on it. The only combos that are close to the level of self cleaning for spinning mop models are Dreame’s Aqua 10 Pro track, the MOVA Z50 Ultra, and the Narwal Flow since both have self-cleaning mechanisms that are made to also clean the dirty water tank and the mop compartment while also having a very easy to clean mop compartment since the thing that moves the mops is also completely removable. If you want to support a US startup, you could look at the Matic since it’s a vacuum and mop robot but taking care of it looks rather easy since it lacks a base station. The maintenance involved is replacing the bag, refilling the water with a cleaning solution of choice, occasionally cleaning the roller mop, the roller mop filter, cleaning the brush roller and de clogging the mop tubes if needed.
r/RobotVacuums • What generally goes wrong in a vacuum+mop+cleaning robot? What to watch out for? ->I just flashed a dreame l10s ultra heat. I can tell you the breakout board is not necessary. Just used a USB cable cut of one end and connected the robot with standard jumper cables to the cut USB cable. Just need to connect d+ d- and ground. The breakouts button just connects the boot select to ground, which can also easily be done with a jumper cable.
r/homeassistant • What is the best robot vacuum currently that's really worth buying? ->I also have a three level house. Lots of hardwood, tile and low pile carpet. Love the newer high end mova and dreame models. Considered moving 1 robot vac to upper and lower levels, but instead bought 3 Dreame L10s ultra pro heat models for $499 CAD each including a free tri-cut brush roll. Aprox 310 Euro each. Amazing deal from amazon.ca. everything is great, mapping, navigation, object avoidance, mopping, vacuuming, no hair tangles with the tri-cut brush eoll. A fellow Redditor that owns a number of robot vacs said he prefers his Dreame L10s ultra pro heat to his newer Dreame vac. My wife loves not having to move a single robot vac up and downstairs. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WAOSu29VpEA&li
r/RobotVacuums • Making a decision is so hard! ->L10s pro ultra heat. We recently bought three, two for our two level house and one for our vacation home. This model is the sweet spot for features and value. I got them from Amazon.ca during a promotion that included a free tri-cut brush roller which results in no long hair tangles. Paid $499 CAD for each including the free tri-cut brush roller. We chose this over the L10S ultra Gen 2 because the Gen 2 doesn't have an AI camera for obstacle avoidance. I've also seen a Reddit post where a guy owns a few higher model dreame vacs and his favorite is the L10S pro ultra heat. FYI we use mop after vac and moisture setting number 27. Works great with very little maintenance.
r/RobotVacuums • With the overwhelming options of vacuum robots available, your experience and opinion are crucial. ->Absolutely happy with our Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat. We‘re using it since June 2024 (almost 370 cycles / total cleaning time of 250 hours) and wouldn‘t want to miss it. Mopping function was an absolute game changer for us.
r/RobotVacuums • Are robot vacuum's worth it? ->As the poster above mentioned, most of them don't have cameras for object detection. I think bellow 600€ there is only a limited number available. Some ecovac Modells have a camera, I think the t30c “pro" is sometimes available for 599€ in sales and has a camera object detection. And I think only the Dreame l10s ultra heat has camera object detection (and the old l10s ultra). The new l10s ultra gen2 models have not. But then I often read that the camera doesn't always make a better detection. In terms of features I suggest the (dreame) mova p50 ultra, which had much more features as most other models and is available for 579€, the p50 pro ultra has ai camera, too, but is 729€ (which is unbeatable for its features). So mova is a dreame daughter and they often even work in the dreamer App, but they are always packing much more features than the more expensive dreame versions. But be aware: many manufacturers offer "ultra", "pro" or "pro ultra" versions (sometimes “pro ultra Omni) and often the "ultra" or "pro" versions only have laser object detection, with any manufacturer, so you normally need the "pro ultra" version to get ai camera obstacle avoidance. But still, often it doesn't make too much of a difference, nearly every robot still has problems detecting everything.
r/RobotVacuums • What would a best Robot with mopping under 600 Euro be? ->You got a great deal. We have the L10s pro ultra heat. Dreame makes amazing products
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum for under $250? ->So an unknown brand just came out with a fairly pedestrian robot with stationary-pad mopping, and it has a higher rating than some of the highest-regarded robots on the market? Nope. If you really need mopping on a budget, take a look at the Dreame D10+, Eufy L60 Hybrid, or one of the Roborock Q series robots. For a big improvement in mopping for not much more money, look at the Eufy C20 or Dreame L10s Ultra series. Mova can be good, if they've solved their problem with fragile front wheels. If you don't care about mopping, look at the Eufy L60 SES or SwitchBot K10+.
r/RobotVacuums • Airzeen Q10 Pro Saug - Fake Reviews? ->As a happy owner of a S1 Pro, I would not recommend it for you. The carpet performance is only so-so; I'm happy with mine, but only because I had low expectations. Plus, the roller mop requires more maintenance. Stretching your budget to get something that will disappoint in at least one way will only lead to frustration. I see the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat on sale at Amazon for $419. That's a great robot for the price. It might not do as well out of the box with hair, but it's compatible with Dreame's Tricut Brush, which is an extra-cost brush that cuts hair off itself to reduce hair tangles. If you go this way, try it with the regular brush first, and get the Tricut Brush if the regular one tangles too much for your liking.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help finding a Robot Vacuum+Mop for mixed floors ->DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat We have one dog which is loosing so much hair. There are a tricut main brush for it which cut long hair to prevent some issues with the brush
r/homeassistant • What are the best robot vacuums for those who're struggling with lots of PET HAIR? ->I tested the normal one for 1 week it was a mess to clean it. After I replaced it with the tricut i have to clean it 1 time in a month. Totally worth the money
r/homeassistant • What are the best robot vacuums for those who're struggling with lots of PET HAIR? ->I've just been down the vacuum research rabbit hole. I settled on a Dreame LS10 Pro Ultra Heat because it fits with what I need it to do within my home. Good luck with your own research.
r/RobotVacuums • what is the best robot vacuum now? ->I was also was looking at the x10, decided to go with the dreame l10s pro ultra heat. Happy so far!
r/RobotVacuums • So many mixed reviews, the more I read the less I feel I know! ->Someone else recommended me the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat (yeah I know the name is a headache), so I’m going to do the same for you. It’s $549 on Amazon atm. It’s basically an upgraded L10S and is practically identical to L20 in features except it is in white and much cheaper. I was thiiiiss close to picking Roborock but I ended up going with Dreame for the simple reason that it scores much higher in object avoidance than roborock. There is a website called vacuum wars that ranks robo vacuums. Qrevo had pretty mediocre scores for object avoidance for their low to mid entry models and only did well on their more expensive models. Dreame scored high even on their L10S which is three generations old at this point. Anyways good luck! I’m sure I just made your decision even harder.
r/RobotVacuums • HELP! Getting decision fatigue on all the choices and mixed reviews ->Hello, I know that feeling. I got my first vaccum On Monday and I am pretty happy with it. L10s pro ultra HEAT in my region is btw 600-700 But I need more info, do u need mopping ? Pets ? Which floor do u have it ? R u planning to make ur robot work in the dark ?
r/RobotVacuums • So many mixed reviews, the more I read the less I feel I know! ->i disagree. my roborock never left any scuffs on my walls and i don’t leave cables around. i always see that argument and find it so strange. why does everyone just leave cables around everywhere?? pick up your cables people! my roborock q5 was in and out and did a fantastic job. my new l10s pro heat takes its grand old time driving around in circles. i’m very close to returning for a qrevo. i don’t know why you wouldn’t want it to speed run your living room. coverage is coverage. it shouldn’t need to take it’s time. if they’re both accurate in coverage, then the quicker one wins.
r/Dreame_Tech • Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 vs Roborock QRevo ->found this by searching around to see if i’m crazy or not. i just got an l10s ultra pro heat. i wanted a mop function and my research led me to dreame. im coming from an old q5, which was an amazing workhorse. the dreame spent close to an hour vacuuming my living room, which takes my roborock about 20 min to do. the dreame was mapping off little sections, driving in constant circles, and not going in straight lines. i’m thinking about returning it for a qrevo. i already miss my perfectly lined maps!
r/Dreame_Tech • Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 vs Roborock QRevo ->Ours came today. But sitting in the garden and trying to resist my inner child to set things up 🤣🤣 L10s UPH
r/Dreame_Tech • Buy L10s Pro UH or go higher? ->I just got the same one but I found it so frustrating that most of the big review videos didn't include it.. apparently the heat version isn't available in the US. Which makes sense why the reviews were limited. I absolutely love it though.
r/RobotVacuums • So many mixed reviews, the more I read the less I feel I know! ->You probably wouldn't be able to get anything to clean that whole space by itself. I have the L10s pro ultra heat and it has a way to hook up for auto fill and drain if you have a way to do that. I would say they could probably top out around 1000sq ft a charge since you're doing hard floors and mopping. You can set it to clean a specific area and have they go off in a relay so the whole area is covered. Dreame has some pretty cheap options that you might want to look into. The L10S ultra is around $400 on sale I believe and you can get a auto hookup I believe.
r/RobotVacuums • Which robot vacuum + mob for commercial use?
->I was debating similarly when replacing my 5 year-old i7 Roomba and ultimately thought that with all the bells and whistles on the $1000+ models, there might be more likelihood of things breaking down/having to replace parts. I went with a Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, despite some nerves about their warranty reputation and all the bells and whistles (which I'm still exploring), purchasing on Amazon on sale for $599 (inclusive of a Tri-Cut Brush) and also bought a 3-year warranty from Asurion for an extra $65. So, all-in with 4 years of warranty (the Asurion kicks in after the Dreame 1-year) was under $675, which I thought was a solid deal. So far, I've been very impressed with this thing - my, has the tech advanced since I bought my Roomba! - and all the functionality of it. I have very dark floors and 2 cats, so litter, dust, hair, and other debris is VERY noticeable...I run the vacuum once each day an mop every few days, and cannot believe the difference. I do wish it did better on my area rugs, but tbh its still quite good; won't replace my weekly dyson sweeps, but noticeably better than the old Roomba. The higher-end models I was considering include the Narwal Freo Z Ultra (now $1099 on Amazon, I saw the other day), the Dreame X40 Ultra, and the Roborock Master. Ultimately, I am still monitoring prices as I am still within my 30-day return window with Amazon, but suspect I'll stick with the L10s Pro Ultra heat unless prices on these 3 really drop. Happy hunting!
r/RobotVacuums • $600 or $1000+ Difference? ->I had a L10s Pro Heat and really liked it, but the price dropped a few weeks after purchase and I didn't find the edge mopping as advertised, so I sent it back to Amazon and got the L40 Ultra a few days ago. I don't think I would have sent the Heat back if the price hadn't dropped $150 two weeks after I bought it and the L40 hadn't dropped $200, but I am finding the L40 does a great job: it is quieter than the Heat, is vacuuming extremely well - like the Heat, and mopping incredibly well, and the extras over the Heat (dropping the mop pads, better object avoidance, swing out brush) are great. So, definitely happy with the swap and am not having any of the issues the OP is reporting. The only two things I am noticing that I do not like are 1) the mop/mop tray cleaning is loud (the rubber-on-plastic squeaking is noticeable, for sure) and 2) when on carpet, there's a rattling sound. I'm hopeful #2 is nothing serious. Otherwise, loving this bot so far.
r/Dreame_Tech • My experience with Dreame L40 Ultra ->The **L10s Pro Ultra Heat (PUH)** is a great choice if you're looking for strong autonomy and a hands-off experience. It handles daily cleaning, mop washing, drying, and self-emptying well. **Pros**: * Reliable full-auto dock * Hot water mop washing * Solid vacuum power * Great on hard floors and *light* to *medium* carpets **Where it may fall short**: * Carpet deep cleaning isn't its strongest suit (like most robot vacuums) * Obstacle avoidance is decent but not as advanced as newer X-series models If you want the **best autonomy + obstacle avoidance** combo and don’t mind paying more, the **X40 Ultra** or **X50 Ultra** are worth a look. They have upgraded RGB cameras and smarter AI object detection, which can help in cluttered homes or with pets. But if your home layout is fairly open and your carpets aren’t thick-pile, the **L10s PUH should serve you really well** — especially for the price.
r/Dreame_Tech • Buy L10s Pro UH or go higher? -># TLDR: Get the **L10s Pro** if it's within budget. If not, **D10 Plus** is the best bang for the buck **with a base**. Auto-empty is a game-changer in a dusty home. # Model Rundown: # ✅ L10s Pro * **Best cleaning performance** of the group (top-tier suction + obstacle avoidance) * **Does wet mopping well** with rotating pads * No base, but solid overall * **Best for large apartments** if you don’t mind emptying it manually # ✅ L10s (non-Pro) * Older, still solid * Has AI navigation and **comes with an auto-empty base** * Slightly weaker suction than Pro, less smart avoidance # ✅ D10s Pro * Decent suction and basic lidar nav * **No base** * Good for smaller or simpler homes — not ideal for large, dusty spaces unless you’re OK emptying it often # ✅ D10 Plus * Similar to D10s Pro but **comes with a base** * Very basic navigation (bumps into stuff sometimes), but **great value** for the price # Why the Base Matters (especially with dust): If your place gets dusty and you’re busy (or just hate emptying bins daily), the base makes life *so* much easier. You can go a couple of weeks without touching the robot. Totally worth it if that’s a pain point. # 🏆 Recommendation Based on Budget Priorities: * **Top pick overall**: L10s Pro (best clean + navigation, even without base) * **Best value with base**: D10 Plus * **All-around balance**: L10s (base + decent mopping) Let me know your price ceiling and I can tell you exactly what to grab and what to skip.
r/Dreame_Tech • Vacuums: choosing between D10 Plus with a base and D10s Pro or L10s Pro w/o base ->I just bought the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat, and it has a ton of overlap with the features of the L20 ultra. It doesn’t have the headlights for going in the dark, but it does have heated water for the mopping which the L20 doesn’t. It’s also white instead of black, and the dock looks sleeker than the L20 dock. $549 on Amazon for Black Friday this week. Works great so far!
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->Go for l10s pro uh bro. Its awesomeeeeeeee. Others are good as well higher ones. Depends on your budget
r/Dreame_Tech • Buy L10s Pro UH or go higher? ->I’m full compliant with you. I own X40 from its launch and never a problem. Surely I can compare it with other bot. Tested Heat, L40, Narwal Freo X Ultra, Narwal Freo Z Ultra and Roborock slim. X40 it’s the more smart and has the most innovative features. It’s a robot that doesn’t give thoughts. It works and works always. A little more pressure in washing ant it will raise the perfection. But I’m sure that at the CES next week, we’ll have this upgrade 😉
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame x40 is currently the best vacuum out there. ->I went with the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat
r/RobotVacuums • How is ECOVACS N30 Pro Omni ->Overall, it's been good. Performs well. Regarding consumables/accessories, I see more availability in India. But I got my sister to bring some from the US when she was visiting last month.
r/RobotVacuums • How is ECOVACS N30 Pro Omni ->If you ca if you care about value for money by far l10s . The roborock master which I own , is bolstered by s8 maxi reviews . It’s a really bad bot. And if you have a noisy house or any cords it will eat it. It does not have object avoidance even though there s a camera
r/Roborock • ROBOROCK Qrevo Master OR DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat ->lol , thanks for keeping me in ur thoughts 😇. Dreame is better sorry
r/Roborock • ROBOROCK Qrevo Master OR DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat ->lol that hair cutting mechanism doesn’t work. I own a master. You should have gone with dreame and bought the tricut brush. Oh well.
r/Roborock • ROBOROCK Qrevo Master OR DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat ->My family bought this [Dreme L10s](https://amzn.to/3PhUPL2) at the beginning of this month In the house we have a mix between parquet and lead flooring, and I have noticed that it does a great job on wood. It does not scratch it nor stain it and manages to clean every corner with ease. I really recommend it.
r/RobotVacuums • Which robot Vacuum+mob cleaning should i buy for house mix with carpet and vinyl flooring, i need good obstacle avoidance too, which is the best for the price given ->I have a Dreame L10 Pro Ultra Heat, and it's really good ! The integration in HA is flawless, and it cleans well. I've picked it up for just under 700 swiss francs
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum and mop IYO? Is it really worth its expensive price tag you paid? ->We've got 3 - Alfred and Mr. Butlertron are self emptying Roombas and The Crushinator is a Dreame vacuum/mop. I love them all, they're valued members of the family 😆 They each man a floor of the house and run daily at different times based on when that floor is in use. To me it's all a trade off. Yes, I need to make sure the floor is clear and open/close doors as needed. But I also don't have to get on my hands and knees to vacuum under the bed or move the couch or actually do any of the real work myself. Our floors are always clear of junk (because we need to pick up daily) and I'm not brushing the bottoms of my feet off on my legs anymore. If you have pets - for the love of all that is holy, check the room before it runs and shut your pets out. We had two dog poop incidents and it was awful.
r/adhdwomen • Messy moms who got a roomba, how did it go? ->Thank you! I eventually ordered a Dreame l10s Pro, but I have some doubts, particularly after seeing videos like this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XebDiGqY5MM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XebDiGqY5MM) It's also an Ultra version of Dreame so not entirely accurate for my case. But I think that suction power is more or less the same for l10s Pro and S8. Not sure if it's accurate. Actually Roborock S8 and even S8 Pro would have comparable price in Armenia, and I could stretch a little bit and order Q8 Max+. But I thought that rotating mops would be somewhat better in most situations. Also, I don't have carpets.
r/Dreame_Tech • Vacuums: choosing between D10 Plus with a base and D10s Pro or L10s Pro w/o base ->From my experience. Roborock Q8 very good for the price, S7 Maxv little better than S8, both great, Dreame L10S Pro as great. The newer more expensive stuff is even little better like X40 Ultra, but it has the docks.. Electrolux i9.2 had suprisingly good obstacle avoidance, could even avoid small cables, but god did that robot suck in anything else.
r/Roborock • All I want is a kick ass VACUUM ONLY robot with the best object detection, why can't you make this? ->Dreame l10s Pro Ultra
r/Dreame_Tech • Dreame comparison of September 2024 robot lineup ->Got this too, hoping it’s at least close to as good as these newer options
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->I noticed that there are no reviews about this robot anywhere so I decided to write a few lines in case it can be useful to someone. I bought a Dreame L10S Pro Ultra first for 550 euros during Black Friday, but I resisted it because it was sold to me as the "heat" version but it wasn't. I understand that hot water can be of little use but if I pay for a product I expect the one requested to be delivered! So I bought this Mova s20 Pro Ultra which I paid 450 in a flash offer (official cost in Europe 699). The features are: - double rotating silicone brush, PA8300 suction - RGB camera with LED and lidar sensor - Vibrating floor washing system at 4050 vibrations per minute - Self-emptying base, automatic detergent dosing, drying and washing cloths with hot water (60 degrees). I scanned the house, about 110m2 in less than 10 minutes and then once I loaded the water and detergent I did a vacuum cleaning plus washing together. The first thing I noticed is the silence compared to the L10S Pro Ultra! Each suction setting was quieter and I didn't think so given the double brush. The job was completed in about 70 minutes and was very precise and impeccable. Much better than the Dreame that sometimes had not exactly linear cleaning paths. My floor is made of hard tiles with wide joints and it had no problems. Even the washing was perfect although the house is mainly clean and without animals or children. Unlike the Dreame, this Mova can clean the edges but by swinging like other robot models which is very effective but takes much longer. So I don't do it every day but that's fine with me. Unlike the dreame, the settings do not include the options to perform a double wash if it detects dirt or a stain on the floor (but in the end I don't care since, as I said, the house is clean). The rubber brushes can be retracted by about 7 cm but I haven't found anything about it in the settings... maybe something that does it automatically. While the washing cloth can be pulled up by 10.5 cm when it detects carpets (it has an automatic sensor like the dreame). Even in this robot I can remotely access the camera which also has LEDs that turn on automatically in the dark. For the price I paid during the sales, 449 euros, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase especially for the precision in cleaning the house and the double brush suction power, as well as washing the floor. The noise is also a plus. Last note of concern, the battery recharged more slowly than the dreame, but it lasted much longer. Cleaning with washing the dreame brought the battery to about 65% while with this mova 75%. So excellent I would say! If you have any questions I am available! I hope it can help someone interested in this robot!
r/RobotVacuums • Mova S20 Ultra review (and comparison with Dreams L10S Pro Ultra) ->I'm using the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra since a few months and found it to be really good for both vacuuming and mopping. It's currently for 60k on amazon. Just FYI, be careful while buying robot vacuums from amazon as there are a lot of scam sellers which never send the product. Only buy from official accounts.
r/mumbai • Is getting a robot vacuum cleaner worth it? ->Ugh I have the dreame l10s pro ultra
r/HomeKit • These Robot Vacuums have native Matter support ->Well the only real way to manage such cat fur is with a real vacuum like a miele or Sebo. My Miele compactifies months of kitty crumbs & fur like a champ (no cotton candy fur effect here). I use a dreame l10s ultra as my robot. I don't rely on the robot doing deep carpet cleans as I real vacuum about once a week but the dreame has been excellent with kitty floor and my long thick hair (with the dreame cutting brush). The q revo curv is the best robot money can buy right now so ofc that's the best recommendation. I like the dreame better for tighter margins and being more intrepid about mopping next to rugs. Get the dreame x40 master if you can afford it and do the water hookup as the water hookup is one of the final frontiers for a hands free robot. The dreame l10s ultra is sufficient and can empty its bin regularly to deal with kitty floof, but running it everyday should avoid any bin clogs. I would say the dreame l10s pro ultra is worth getting for hot water and water dirtiness sensor (advanced new mopping features). If you want the most advanced vacuum features get the roborock q revo curv. Checkout vacuumwars for feature comparisons and checkout RTINGS for some more grounded opinions. Overall stick with dreame and Roborock. They're repairable with great customer service and parts availability. One thing, the roborocks are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than the dreames, but Pepperoni doesn't mind the dreame running. The Miele is ofc quieter than the robots on max power tho. Overall a robot is an amazing, indispensable companion to a bagged vacuum in a pet home! With my robot running multiple times daily, I almost never feel the need to "on demand" vacuum anymore.
r/RobotVacuums • The best robot vacuum for a couple with 3 long-haired cats? ->Yeah there are for sure a lot of models and features to keep up with for these robots, especially considering a flagship model last year was $1800 with worse features than a basic $350 model today. Vacuums wars certainly gives every match the best review but it seemingly forgets ownership so I take his reviews with a grain of salt. RTINGS seems to have an opposite issue but I still value their objective measurements. Overall id say stick with roborock or dreame. Roborock has the nicest app and experience, while dreame (imo) is the best for mopping despite its app being a little tacky and poorly translated. At that price point I'd try and go for the roborock q revo pro. It has advanced mopping features like hot water & turbidity sensor and the mop leggy but doesn't have expensive features like a lifting main brush or camera obstacle avoidance. The other great option is the dreame l10s ultra pro. It also has hot water, turbidity sensor, and a mop leggy, but also has a camera avoidance system, which is... Okay in my experience. Not as good as the more expensive robots. If you don't need advanced obstacle avoidance or advanced vacuum features (leaving mops behind, dual roller, lifting roller) then I'd get one of those two. I personally own a dreame l10s ultra (and trialed it against a roborock q revo, which didn't work as well in my mopping situations). There are other minor differences between the two but they're able to be overcome. Dreame also has an excellent hair cutting roller brush available for their cheaper robots. Both brands sell their 1st part accessories on AliExpress for far cheaper than Amazon. Good luck & enjoy.
r/RobotVacuums • So many mixed reviews, the more I read the less I feel I know! ->So I bought a q revo and dreame l10s and compared them directly and ended up keeping the l10s because it seems to do a better job of mopping (and is willing to mop in skinnier areas of my hard floor around rugs). I don't mind the worse app with dreame, it's completely usable and reliable, just with weird translations. I genuinely like the roborock carpets first feature but I don't miss it with scheduling. If you can afford the l40 ultra, that's what I would buy for the best features (hot water mop washing, self cleaning washboard, water turbidity sensor, mop extend & lifting brush, hair cutting roller). How much more expensive are the premier q revo models in your area (the master, slim, edge, curv)? If theyre the same price (or you can afford the slight increase) I'd get those for the best of both worlds: premier features and the superior roborock app.
r/RobotVacuums • HELP! Getting decision fatigue on all the choices and mixed reviews ->Any of the rotary mop roborocks or any dreame. I guess dreame bc roborock q revos don't have soap containers. The newest roborocks can mop with warm water, which is insanely good. And they wash the mops with water hotter than tap, which is also amazing. It depends how badly you want the low profile of the retractable lidar? I really love the warm water mopping of the q revo curvx but I think I'd still go with the dreame x50. The dreame l10s pro ultra is also great for its price and adds some warm water and water testing. It sounds like you really care about handling the gray water so no matter which you'll get you'll want to plumb them in. The price of the dreame x40 master I think is amazing for being a plumbot ($900) but it's missing some of the newest features, tho not super lacking.
r/RobotVacuums • The MOVA V50 Pro Ultra — Vacuum Wars' New #1 Robot Vacuum ->3" fibers but a little flat. All my robots this far have gotten bogged down on it. Roborock qrevo and dreame l10s at least made it off 🤷🏾♂️ I think the adaptilift robots may work for it.
r/Roborock • Robo vacuum worth it? ->Yeah with people making retail purchases like a robot vacuum, I would advise buying 2, trialing them, and returning one. It's a huge purchase so it should be perfect 🤷🏾♂️ If they have the credit/capital to do that ofc. I did that for the original q revo vs my dreame l10s. I didn't think the roborock commanded that $100 price difference at the time (for me).
r/Roborock • Robo vacuum worth it? ->I have an elderly cat and the worst case scenario is usually small bits of poop. Which ice cleaned off my robot a few times which isn't the worst... But if it's regular puddles I wouldn't. I have a dreame l10s which has a camera without a fill light and the object avoidance is pretty bad/mid. Apparently the newest robots are better especially with identifying puddles? So maybe? But be prepared to clean them lmao. Good news is they're very easy to clean/disassemble and deep clean.
r/Roborock • Do you run your robot unattended? ->So I've completely disassembled a few different brands of robot vacuums. Not all of the newest ones especially, but some of the newest, especially my dreame l10s. Dreames and roborocks are really well built imo. A lot of easy screws and the various modules have their connectors built in. They also tend to have their exterior most parts free of major electronics should they need to be stripped and washed. I've put my robovac parts through the dishwasher (make sure yours doesn't have exposed heaters). Plastic shell pieces, dust bin, and filter. Vacuum out the bin/filter/machine first 🙏🏾 I assume the movas are the same. The three are within the xiaomi family of brands so I assume the third is built like the other two. Ecovacs are a lil nightmare to take apart bc their wires are unruly. And you can't even strip the bottom plate or suction area easily to clean or replace. It's doable but only if necessary. I've done some older eufys which seemed good so 🤷🏾♂️ Roborocks and dreame, being the most popular seem to have the best part availability as well. Roborock used to have a huge warranty on their s8maxv (5yrs) but reduced it now to 1 on everything I think. The movas have a 3 year warranty which is cool. Refurbished units from eBay, direct from roborock and dreame also come with 2 year warranties (mostly). I guess because poop etc gets smeared into the brushroll chamber mostly, if it's a small enough volume, being able to replace that more easily is nice lol. I haven't had to remove it from the brushroll motor to wash it but maybe that's possible. These machines are dense with electronics and wires but are built well imo so if you're willing to take care of and maybe even go a little diy they'll definitely last 5 yrs. My roborock s5 still works, and now that's 4th hand (I was the 3rd hand lol). I'd only buy them from the xiaomi family, roborock especially if I had the disposable money. I have a long haired rug I'd like to see it clean 🤩🤩 There are roborocks at basically every price point, dreame at the lowest, but the dreames have more features at comparable prices, mostly. Roborocks app is much nicer and I've found their machines are much quieter. They also tend to just do everything better lol. The roborock master is at crazy low prices rn (new & eBay refurb) and it has their obstacle avoidance that should detect puddles. It sounds like you really need obstacle detection so the cheapest I'd go is the mova p10. It apparently has the same sensors as the p50 (which reacts to puddles). And it's a little more expensive than the cheapest (mine) or the in between, glam version of mine: the l10s PRO ultra. The robot names are becoming a bit much but there is some reason to them...
r/Roborock • Do you run your robot unattended? ->I already picked up two of the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra, one for myself one as a gift. A lot of choices out there and I bounced back and forth before pulling the trigger on this version. Hopefully it's a good option.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday? ->I have 2 Dreame L10S, the gen 1 and the gen 2. about $400 each. they work very well and integrate into HA.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->We have a L10s Ultra and after 3 years it doesn't mop properly anymore. There does not come enough water out of the vacuum. It mops dry. We took it to our local dealer and they looked into it and couldn't fix the problem. Would not recommend it. Such an expansive tool should work longer.
r/RobotVacuums • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended robot vacuums in the past year ->I like these comparisons. Thankyou. I’m using the L10S ultra and happy with it for the time being but love seeing what’s ahead for us
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame L40s Ultra CE comparison ->The L10S Ultra has got to be the value champion especially at the $320 refurb with 2 year warranty. But definitely seems like things cycle out quick.
r/RobotVacuums • Vacuum wars and how fast you can lose money ->Get Certified Refurbished eBay. I grabbed an L10S Ultra for $240 and a qrevo for $330. Dreame and Roborock are the brands. Both units seem pretty much brand new. If you want the latest and greatest, you'll be spending $1.5K plus. Search for deals, as the eBay coupons are timing dependent.
r/RobotVacuums • First time buying a robot vacuum, recommendations needed ->Our L10s Ultra is awesome, however I don't think the obstacle avoidance is that great. In general, I think if people are expecting to never have to pick things up off the floor, then they will be disappointed. The kitchen is the only area that gets automatically cleaned every day. The rest I manually trigger after doing some prep like moving shoes and chairs. The lidar mapping is fantastic and the mopping is a game changer. Being able to automatically clean the kitchen every night after cooking has made such a huge difference in cleanliness. It's shocking how dirty the waste water always is.
r/homeassistant • Valetudo for vacuums that use cameras for obstacle avoidance ->Hey all! I'd like to formally introduce myself. My name is Justin, and I'm a Robot Vacuum tester at RTINGS. I've tested 30+ robot vacuums since my career started here, and have learned so much from research, testing, and this Subreddit specifically. Some of you might have seen me on here making some personal recommendations in some of the posts in this Subreddit, but Prime Day is a great time to provide some insight on making a decision, since the market is currently overwhelming. **These recommendations are based on products we've bought and tested ourselves**, since we do not accept review or sample units from manufacturers. **I also wanted to disclose that we do make money from affiliate links and ads on our website**, so I will not be providing any links to our reviews. **First step** is to not panic. Figure out the needs of your space, your expectations, and your budget. Write them down and try to narrow it down to maximum 2-3 options. **General expectations** for all robots based on what I've seen and my personal opinion/experience: * **They will not replace your regular vacuum and mop for deep cleaning**, but they will extend the time between your deep cleanings. * **Obstacle avoidance is not that big of a deal if you don't have kids or pets.** Tidy up loose objects on the floor, tuck away cables, and set no-go zones, and you'll usually be good to go. * **You likely don't need to run it everywhere, every day.** Consider your needs and strategize. Use manual configurations, schedules, and spot cleanings over the built-in AI systems to tailor it to your needs. * **They usually always get hair stuck somewhere, especially long hair.** I have yet to meet a robot that has not gotten hair stuck with our standard 2.5g of long hair. That being said, some are better at it than others. * **The maintenance for the mops/water tanks is very frequent**, but saves more time overall. The general maintenance is usually quick overall, though. * **Recurring costs are generally higher and more frequent than regular vacuums.** You can try third party options for brush rollers, but we usually don't test that. * **Even premium models usually have seal problems** **and do not filter as well as standard vacuums with better HEPA/S-Class Filters.** If you have allergies, most of the robots will shoot allergens back up into the air. Consider an air purifier if you really want one. (The Levoit Vital 200s is great and on sale too) * **Advertised suction is usually not helpful or representative of pickup performance**. The Roborock S7 Max V is a great example of a robot with low advertised suction (5100 Pa) that still remains competitive in hard floor pickup performance to this day. * **Be vigilant of defects, especially on new models.** Brands are pumping out models faster than we can think. In my opinions, there are bound to be quality issues. If you see something wrong, exchange it or go with an older model that has proven reliability. * **Sales will come back. Often. Black friday is right around the corner.** Don't impulse buy just cause of a big sales event. **Dreame L10s Ultra/Pro Ultra ($299 USD/$479 CAD - $399USD/$499CAD) - Best Introduction Robot for Small Spaces** with mostly hard floor. * Decent hard floor performance, fully featured dock, great obstacle avoidance, decent mopping, upgradeable for carpets with the Tri-Cut Brush. * Mid battery-life, cold water and cold air drying (pro version adds heat), have seen complaints of poor customer service from Dreame. Uncertain about long term reliability. * At this price, you really can't go wrong if you just want something to help with day to day cleaning. **Roborock Qrevo Series ($399 USD/$549 CAD)** \- **Best Budget for hard floors** * Great hard floor pickup and navigation. Mid-on carpets. Bad at removing pet hair from carpets. * Awful obstacle avoidance. Decent Mopping * Roborock seems to have a better reputation for reliability. (Based on comments in this Subreddit) **Roborock S8 Max V ($1099USD/$1199CAD)** \- **Best For Carpet and Pet Hair** * Good all around pickup, excels on carpet thanks to its dual rollers. Corner coverage. * Expect hair tangles in the edges of the brush rollers. * Mid mopping performance, so you might have to manually clean hard stains. * Decent Obstacle avoidance, but not the best. * Older flagship. **Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni** (**$799 USD/ $1199CAD) - Best Mopping** (Not published yet on our website, but we've tested it) * Great hard floor pickup, decent carpet pickup. Okay, at removing pet hair from carpets. * Okay obstacle avoidance on hard floor, bad on carpet. * Excellent mopping. * Unsure of Ecovacs reliability and app experience, as I've seen complaints on this Subreddit before. * Currently borrowing this model, and I'm really impressed with it. I have not experienced any dock leaking, but this is something that I've seen brought up for other roller mop models. **Roborock Saros 10R ($1199USD) - Best overall for most people** * Excellent hard floor cleaning. Decent carpet cleaning. Struggles with pet hair on carpet. Good for mopping. * Excellent hard floor obstacle avoidance, bad carpet obstacle avoidance. * Excellent maneuverability. Slim body allows it to get underneath furniture as low as 3.1" (8 cm). Can also climb thresholds up to 1.5" (3.8cm) in our tests. * Not available in Canada. **Popular Models I'd avoid, but doesn't mean they wouldn't be the best option for you:** * **Dreame X50 Ultra:** It's dual rollers struggle with hard floor pickup more than the dual rollers on the S8 Max V. I also borrowed it for a month to test it in my home, and it would leave clumps of debris everywhere, especially near thresholds. This is based on our testing and my subjective opinion, but it was a miss for me. * **Dreame L40 Ultra:** Controversial, I know, but I was also underwhelmed with its hard floor pickup performance, especially with finer debris. It's decent for carpet, though, and might perform better with the Tri-cut brush. It also scored worse in obstacle avoidance than the Dreame L10s Ultra, which is bizarre since it released 2 years after it. This is another model I borrowed, and was not satisfied with it's cleaning performance in my mostly hard floor apartment. * **Eufy x10 Pro Omni:** It was one of the vacuums I had the most trouble testing due to navigation issues and app issues. Its pickup performance was also pretty poor on carpet, and just okay on hard floor. * **Dyson VisNav 360:** Great potential, but flawed execution and use of old tech make it a bad purchase in my opinion. This thing packed a punch and was excellent at picking up stuff it went over, but the problem was it would frequently miss areas and get lost/confused. * **Shark robot vacuums:** Some of them are good for pickup, but their built quality, navigation issues, and bare-bones app makes question their value. Honorable mentions: * **MOVA P10 Pro:** Best obstacle avoidance in our test out of every single model. Good hard floor pickup, mid carpet pickup, okay mopping. Comments in this Subreddit have mentioned MOVA's manufacturing quality and customer service are question. We had to return our first unit because the dock was non-functional, but the second unit works well. Let me know if you have any questions about my recommendations, and hope this helps out! Edit: I will only be responding while I'm at work, so expect a delay of 24hr for a response. Also added 2 expectations.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester ->The Dreame L10s Ultra is a safe bet in that price range, the pro version adds heated water cleaning and hot air drying which can lower the risk of a smelly mop. You can also upgrade it with the Tri-Cut brush, which claims to cut hair. Thankfully, the rubber brush is fairly easy to clean and takes no more than 2-3 minutes. Edit: I forgot to mention that it's a bit loud. Newer models have better sound management, if sound level is a concern, go with the Qrevo Series.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester ->I'd say maybe look into the Qrevo Slim. I haven't tested it, but the dual rollers will be really helpful with pet hair on rugs, and it should perform similarly to the S8 Max V. For something cheaper, maybe the Mova P10 Pro or the Dreame L10s, and upgrade it with the tri-cut brush. (Keeping in mind that MOVA has had some quality complaints.)
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester ->P10 pro on Amazon for $450 and Z60 on EBay for $911 JustADad has been recommending the P10 pro for quite a while now. Is the Z60 worth over 2x the price of P10? Are the additional features worth it? Or should I go with P10 and save some $$ How is the mopping performance on P10? I tried an L10s ultra before and it was terrible at mopping and climbing thresholds

r/RobotVacuums • Vacuum wars and how fast you can lose money ->Do your pets shed a lot of hair ? I've had constant issues with the washboard being clogged with pets hairs in my L10s Ultra and having to clean the washboard constantly, so I'm thinking of upgrading to the X50. How is it in terms of clogging or pet hairs in the washboard after mopping ?
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts? ->Do your dogs shed a lot of hair ? I've had constant issues with the washboard being clogged with pets hairs in my L10s Ultra and having to clean the washboard constantly, so I'm thinking of upgrading to the X50. How is it in terms of clogging or pet hairs in the washboard after mopping ?
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts? ->I don't recommend Dreame if you use an Android phone. I bought an L10s last year. It was connecting at first but after a reset it wouldn't connect to my Pixel at all. It did seem to work with my mother's iPhone but that wouldn't be useful for me so I returned it. The other big thing was that when I went to leave a negative review due to all the frustration, the review never got posted. I was fair and simply stated that for me it didn't work well with Android. I rewrote and submitted a few times; there was always a review waiting period but it was never posted. The fact that most of the Chinese robot vacuums are rated so highly on Amazon, and the fact that these companies are connected to Xiaomi has left me very suspicious that the reviews are being manipulated or bought. Many of the YouTube reviews also seem paid without any declaration of being sponsored. In contrast, the reviews from Rtings or news sites were so much more critical. I don't want to support these type of shady companies so instead I bought a Shark which I have to try soon.
r/RobotVacuums • HELP! Getting decision fatigue on all the choices and mixed reviews ->I'm between this and the dreame L10S Ugh
r/RobotVacuums • Real reviews Eufy X10???? ->Ended up with Dreame
r/RobotVacuums • Real reviews Eufy X10???? ->Dreame l10S or l20 if you are trying to save money Dreame x30 if you have a little more money to spend Dreame X40/L40 if you want the best. If you only have hardfloors, the Eufy S1 pro I also like the QRevo Slim if you want something from Roborock but I am disappointed with its Object avoidance capabilities when compared to Dreame and Eufy. Roborock in general is quite trash at obstacle avoidance and it makes it hard for me to trust their vacuums to run on a schedule without having to babysit them but their hardware is solid and reliable. Skip the Eufy x10 that so many shills like. It's got a lot of features that look good but in reality they aren't very well implemented. I had two of them and Eufy partially refunded me for both of them due to my experience with them. Good customer support, but a bad vacuum design that struggles to pick up anything on hardfloors. For the same money I would get a Dreame l10S or L20 instead. I posted my full review here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/AVD9Ph2eHK
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum cleaner for a busy household? ->Return both and get a Dreame L10S certified refurbished: [https://www.ebay.com/str/dreameinnovation/Refurbished/\_i.html?store\_cat=48519196012&\_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211](https://www.ebay.com/str/dreameinnovation/Refurbished/_i.html?store_cat=48519196012&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211) Dreame is running a sale right now and with the coupon code, the L10s is like $300 which is a steal. I have two certified refurbished X40s and they were practically brand new, no sign of previous use. Also comes with 2 year third party warranty so you don't have to deal with dreame's questionable warranty support team. Based on how much you get from returning the shark and roomba, you can get 2 L10s robots or maybe one x30/x40. The Dreame vacuums are far better for the money due to their advanced features like object avoidance and they have good vacuum performance. Roborock has good vacuum performance but severely lacks in the object avoidance realm. Eufy has good object avoidance but not so great vacuum performance. iRobot and Shark are in a tier below Dreame, Roborock and Eufy.
r/RobotVacuums • Need advice on which vacuum to keep my ->Suction power provided by the manufacturers are just BS most of the time and are not indicative of cleaning power. In general, Roborock has far better vacuum performance than Eufy however Eufy has better customer support and their vacuums with Obstacle avoidance like the X10 and s1 outperform roborock in obstacle avoidance.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Q8 Max Plus vs Eufy Omni C20 - Advice Needed ->I don't think the c20 has obstacle avoidance. Personally, for the money I would pick the Dreame l10S as it has obstacle avoidance that is as good as the Eufy x10, is on sale for like $400 right now and has better vacuum performance than the Eufy's but it's slightly worse than the Roborocks. I think the obstacle avoidance is a very important feature to have if you want to run your robot on a schedule. If you don't mind picking up cords and things the robot could get stuck on, get the roborock as the cleaning performance is better than the other brands at your price point.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Q8 Max Plus vs Eufy Omni C20 - Advice Needed ->I love my Dreame L10S. They have higher end models but this was the most I wanted to shell out.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->I have a dreame L10s, L40 and Roborock q8 at the minute. I’m about to order the dreame aqua 10 pro track as I’ve found the spinning mop pads scratch my wooden floors a bit. The performance of the dreames has been great, especially the object avoidance. We have no kids but 2 dogs and 3 cats. The L40 especially is great at avoiding dog toys that get dropped in front of it and the aqua 10 has upgraded object avoidance so I’m hoping it will be even better. I’m veering to the pro track as it heats the water a little and uses cleaning solution on the floor as well
r/RobotVacuums • BEST mopping robot vacuum. $ not an issue. ->Personally, I think the X40 is a better deal, but I've had good luck with the Dreame refurbs from the eBay official store. Just keep in mind, they usually come in a beat up box and the units are not always thoroughly cleaned either. One of my l10s models came with a smelly dirty water tank because whomever returned it, didn't bother to get all the water out.
r/RobotVacuums • Is $350 for an eBay refurbished Dreame X30 Ultra a good deal? ->roborock qrevo 35A for under $400. better than the Dreame L10s especially for VACUUMING. Dreame maybe better obstacle detection. - I review robovacs for 7 years
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuums under $450 by your experience or opinion ->You will be hard pushed to find one that is thin enough to get under the couch at 10cm 🤔. I have the Dreame L10s and it will handle everything you have described except getting under things due to its height. It's been brilliant tbh, I don't have to touch my floor it does it all 👍
r/RobotVacuums • can't choose ->Yes, I do. We have at home the Dreame L10S, very powerful, friendly with our pet, we have a dog that shed a lot of hair and it cleans like a champ. I think that the best features that could work for you and your family is that it's very quiet while working around, in addition to its auto empty feature. It's really a very good option.
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone have a robovac they'd recommend for elderly users? ->Identify the features you want and go from there. Let the features drive the realistic price. For me that was Lidar, self-empty, mopping pads that spin and not just dragged behind. Those features ended up with me getting a Dreame L10s for around $700
r/RobotVacuums • Can robot vacuum truly deep clean your home? ->Dreame L10s is what I have with 5 kids. I like it
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum cleaner for a busy household? ->I read this stuff and wonder to myself did I get the only properly functioning robot but then I remember I have 2 and both of them function just fine. L20 Ultra and L10S. Is it just people with no issues say nothing? Are people not doing regular maintenance? I am not doubting anything said here but am genuinely confused as to how there can be so many issues.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->I've never checked mine empties great - L10s
r/Dreame_Tech • Time to find a Better robot ->I have the Dreambot L10s we don't have any tatami so I can't speak to that but I have had literally no complaints.
r/japanresidents • Robot vacuum recommendations? ->The firmware doesn’t change in terms of features. The cloud gets replaced by valetudo locally. You can also get one and never hook it up to WiFi. I operated my dreams L10s for about two months by just pressing buttons before I rooted it.
r/homeassistant • Valetudo for vacuums that use cameras for obstacle avoidance ->No clue. Never used the first party app. I bought it, operated it without WiFi using the buttons for a while, the rooted it and connected it. This is the suggested way. No initial WiFi prevents enforced updates potentially closing the rooting option.
r/homeassistant • Valetudo for vacuums that use cameras for obstacle avoidance ->Un dream l10. Perfect
r/smarthome • What's the best Robot Vacuum with Mop you are using and loving now?
This is the best for fully local robot vacuum. I have 2 Dreame L10s flashed and they work great. Bonus is it's also kind of funny being able to ssh into a vacuum lol
r/homeassistant • Which robot vacuum is best with HA right now? ->I will 2nd the dreame L 10. I’m fucking amazed at how well it works. We have two dogs and three cats and my wife back moved, prior to buy a mess, daily as well as mopped a couple to few times a week. We wake up every morning with gorgeous clean floors. Like I said, I’m truly amazed. Recent cleaning https://i.imgur.com/BXWtZEn.png
r/RobotVacuums • Need RoboVac Recommendation Budget up to 700usd ->L10 can clean 20m2 in 19 mins in real world use, L20 with more technical cleaning pushed that up to 29 mins, The L40 with the best cleaning and mop extras etc is 36 mins. The x40..... Same setup as the other 3.....47minutes and it doesn't to as good a job as the L10v2..... I'm just giving honest reviewing! I was very surprised the L40 smashed the x40!
r/Dreame_Tech • Trying to pick the right Dreame for Prime Day? Here’s how to sort it all out. ->I have this one as well, but the version without the self emptying deck. I'm always scared of bugs climbing in there and nesting before I get to empty it. This being said, I love it, and it's not even my first Dreame: I've never been able to find a better quality/price deal.
r/CleaningTips • Self emptying robot vacuums for homes with many pets? ->YES. It is most definitely that bad. It’s bad on hard floors but god forbid you run it on a carpet. I have a video of it just plowing through fake dog poop on carpets. Edit: I have owned both the roomba j series and dreame l series, and both are so so much better.
r/Roborock • Is the AI and obstacle avoidance really that bad? ->I tested the roomba j series and the l series from dreame and both perfectly did the test
r/Roborock • Roborock Obstacle Avoidance Sucks ->I tested the roomba j series and the l series from dreame and both perfectly did the test
r/Roborock • Roborock Obstacle Avoidance Sucks ->Because both my Dreame L series and Roomba J series did the same test flawlessly
r/Roborock • Roborock Obstacle Avoidance Sucks ->For crevices, you need a robot with a bristle main brush. Dreame L series and Mova usually use rubber brushes, which, according to reviewers on YT, don't pick up dust in crevices well unlike bristle ones. Some Roborock model like Q5 Pro, Q8 Max, Qrevo S, and QV35A/S also uses a similar brush. I think if you don't mind with prices, E28 or E25 is a good candidate because its roller mop is superior. Roborock also has a new lineup called S5A which is the cheaper version of Qrevo Edge. Now it's $899 on Amazon. S5A uses a similar Duo Divide split brush as in Qrevo Edge and Eufy E28, a self-empty station, and obstacle avoidance but only using structured light without a live camera.
r/RobotVacuums • I just want the best robo vac available and the research is killing me ->Got the dream a few weeks ago. It's a game changer. I had a Neato and a few iRobots over the years. With those units, I spent more time pulling out dog hair and untangling rollers than actually using the product. This is a lot more advanced, and with the self emptying, it's pretty great. All I do now is swap out the water tanks every day. Gripes? The mop pad on the base station gets hairy. It has difficulty getting dirt between the edge of the rug and the hardwood floors. It's expensive. All in all, it's a nice machine.
r/Dreame_Tech • X50 Ultra Thoughts? ->I've got a dreamtech which has self cleaning mops and it does pretty good. I've also got 2 kids and toys all over the floor and it barely gets stuck.
r/smarthome • Considering a robovac, is there anyone out there that truly frees you from having to clean the mop yourself? ->The Dreame robot mop system is our favorite new roommate! We have a new and an older iRobot Roomba vacuums and recently got this one for the main floor. We're very happy with it. It's available in many different price ranges.
