I Got the dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and I'm very happy with it. I bought one 7 years ago, and back then, the technology sucked. Nowadays, however, the technology is ready, and robot vaccums from mid range and up work very well.
I have not used my vaccum since I bought my l10S gen2 a month ago. So far it seems it does an exceptionally god job
The max has serious issues with the cleaning station, which include a fragile dirty water pump and an unreliable water temperature sensor, also, the pro doesn’t have an internal water container and therefore has to return to its station to wet its mop pads. I believe a much better option would be the dreame l10s ultra gen 2
Picked it up yesterday. First robot vacuum, i'm impressed at the moment and will give us some peace of mind I think.
Just unpacked the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum. And so far it pretty good. It’s managed to map the house and can handle some tricky areas such as rugs and fireplace half, it takes an odd route at times but otherwise really pleased with it. Just over £300 and seems like it’s going to be well received,
For white tiles + one rug, mop-lift behaviour is the critical thing to get right. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 handles this well,MopExtend physically extends the mop pad along skirting boards, auto-lifts when it hits carpet so the rug stays dry, and 10,000Pa suction is plenty for a 75sqm apartment. The all-in-one dock self-empties and washes the mop pads so it's pretty hands-free day to day. Did a full comparison at [top7.au/robot-vacuums](http://top7.au/robot-vacuums) if that helps.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is a solid first robovac , auto-empty, mop washing, decent navigation. the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E10C is cheaper and covers vacuum + mop without the all-in-one dock and is hard to beat at the price. Either way you'd be miles ahead of buying nothing. Put a quick rundown of the current best options at [top7.au/robot-vacuums](http://top7.au/robot-vacuums) if you want to compare side by side.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 is the sweet spot for pet households right now ,10,000Pa suction handles pet hair well, the MopExtend arm reaches skirting boards where fur collects, and the auto-empty dock means you're not touching it for 75 days. If you want Roborock's better app and navigation, the Qrevo L is a close alternative. Both are a massive upgrade over daily manual vacuuming
For hardwood with rugs and two large dogs, the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 is the most cost-efficient pick that doesn't cut corners, 10,000Pa suction handles embedded pet hair on rugs, and the auto-empty dock means you're not emptying it every day. The MopExtend arm also reaches right along the walls which hardwood floors need. It's genuinely the best bang for buck in its tier right now. [top7.au/robot-vacuums](http://top7.au/robot-vacuums) has a comparison if you want to see how it stacks up against a few others.
I ended up with the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 for $449. I was looking at the L10s Ultra real hard at $299 but the extra suction and extended mop pad with the gen 2 made me spend the extra $150. I have had it for 3 weeks now and have very happy with it so far. It mops well and vacuums very well
