r/homeassistant • What is the state of robot vacuums that work with HA in 2024. ->I bought the Dreame L20 Ultra for 600 on Amazon. Best vacuum I've ever had. Also it integrates with Home Assistant very nicely. I can voice control it to clean whichever room I want. Still figuring out how to set parameters with voice or set up buttons that automatically set them to what I want, but the ability IS there.
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum and mop IYO? Is it really worth its expensive price tag you paid? ->Dreame l20 ultra complete 👍
r/smarthome • What are the best robot vacuum recommendations for the first-time buyers? ->got dreame l20 and pretty ahppy with it so far
r/smarthome • What are the best robot vacuum recommendations for the first-time buyers? ->Been using a Dreame L20 Ultra since 2023. Running both the Dreame integration along with the Xiaomi Cloud Map Extractor card. Both in HACS. https://preview.redd.it/6g0m2ipz1gqe1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=248316a3edcde91a6904c3dd2ca2eaedb9e828e4 I set up my Inovelli switches to be triggers to clean specific areas/rooms. For example, I can press one of the buttons 4 times and it sends the robot to clean that specific room. Game changer for the family.

r/homeassistant • What is the state of robot vacuums that work with HA in 2024. ->Dreame L20 can prevent tangles on end of brushes with the TriCut brush cover.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for Pet Hair Now ->May I introduce you to [our dog](https://i.imgur.com/Frh7Abg.jpeg)? So I can say that I absolutely understand where you are coming from, he's basically the reason why we have a robot vacuum in the first place. Due to some unlucky circumstances I were able to test 3 different robot vacuums over the last 2 years and can give you a quick long hair review. * Roborock S7+: I needed scissors to remove the long hair from the brush. * Dreame L20 Ultra: Better, all the hair basically moved to the end of the brushes and I could rather quickly remove them with my hands. * Roborock Qrevo Curv: FINALLY! It has a "Dual Anti-Tangle-System", fancy name for one brush split in half and all the long hair get transported in the middle where the gap is and then get sucked in. It's running here for a month and there wasn't a single long hair that I had to manually remove.

r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for Pet Hair Now ->I have the Dreame L20 Ultra. It's great, and also has an optional plumbing module that can be connected to piping and let it self-empty the docking station tank. The Roborock ones are also pretty good from what I've heard. I was looking at the Q Revo before myself. Up to 2k should be plenty. Especially if you're in the US, they do discounts often, I recommend looking at the subreddit for whichever brand you choose and they'll have notices for any upcoming sales.
r/homeassistant • What's a good robot vacuum & mop combo? ->Dreame l10S or l20 if you are trying to save money Dreame x30 if you have a little more money to spend Dreame X40/L40 if you want the best. If you only have hardfloors, the Eufy S1 pro I also like the QRevo Slim if you want something from Roborock but I am disappointed with its Object avoidance capabilities when compared to Dreame and Eufy. Roborock in general is quite trash at obstacle avoidance and it makes it hard for me to trust their vacuums to run on a schedule without having to babysit them but their hardware is solid and reliable. Skip the Eufy x10 that so many shills like. It's got a lot of features that look good but in reality they aren't very well implemented. I had two of them and Eufy partially refunded me for both of them due to my experience with them. Good customer support, but a bad vacuum design that struggles to pick up anything on hardfloors. For the same money I would get a Dreame l10S or L20 instead. I posted my full review here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/AVD9Ph2eHK
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum cleaner for a busy household? ->L20 here, my kitchen floor is spotless and shiny
r/RobotVacuums • Can robot vacuums with mopping functions really clean well? ->Tell that to my shiny kitchen floors (using the Dreame L20)
r/RobotVacuums • Can robot vacuums with mopping functions really clean well? ->Dreame L20 Ultra. Refurbished on EBay for $550 USD. I received mine a few days ago and it’s amazing. Received it in original box and all the packaging, appeared to be brand new.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot Vac Recommendations Please! ->Mine is great (Dreame L20 Ultra). I love having one. Helps me keep my place looking sharp and focus on cleaning countertops and whatnot.
r/malelivingspace • Best Robot Vacuums most commonly picked during this time period? ->I've used Roomba s9+, roborock s6, s7 max pro, dreame l20, and recently eufy s1 pro and can objectively say any of the lidar based bots are so much better than the roombas terrible navigation. Roombas have great carpet pick-up when they aren't roaming around aimlessly for an hour.
r/homeautomation • Does a Robot Vacuum Make a Difference? ->Roborock right now has the best mix of high end features on the flagship, and I had a very good experience with their support as well. That being said I've only had the eufys for a couple of weeks and they are also awesome especially for the slightly lowered price. Dreame has pretty terrible support so I'd steer away from them, but still a good robot. Roborock overall just because I had them for a few years and they were extremely solid, but the Eufy S1 Pro is my favorite right now and recommended for if you have mostly hard floors - mopping is incredible but the vac wouldn't be as good as Roborock if you have large carpet areas.
r/homeautomation • Does a Robot Vacuum Make a Difference? ->Two weeks ago I was going to buy a x10 but then saw the dreame L20 go on sale so brought that instead, I've only had it for a week but so far I've been very impressed with the dreame, It picks up everything and mops pretty well, After reading your well wrote review I'm glad I got the dreame, Thank you for taking the time to feedback your findings
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours ->I have the Dreame L20 with a German shepherd and honestly this thing does not skip a beat. Auto empties, mops, brilliant. I was skeptical of the mopping but after running it the first few times and the dirty water coming out like thick chocolate milk, I was pleasantly surprised that after running it every night (or maybe every 2) the dirty water is now much more clear. It’s clearly doing a great job at maintaining the state of the floors.
r/homeautomation • Does a Robot Vacuum Make a Difference? ->We are proud owners of two very hairy Labradors. I’ve had two Dreame L20 ultra units in the last 12 months and both had the same issue of not emptying the collection box so it was remaining jammed full of dog hair. The second unit is now back with Dreame who have promised to replace it with a new unit (their customer support in the UK is seriously lacking. I had to fight every step of the way and it took over 3 weeks just to get a returns number from them. I personally found the rest of the unit good, but would never buy another Dreame machine because of their lack of customer support) Literally ordered the new Eufy S1 pro which has arrived today but I’ve not had time to unpack it yet. You mentioned above that you didn’t know the brand Eufy, they are a division of Anker (high quality chargers etc) so I have every confidence the build quality will be good.
r/RobotVacuums • Dog parents! What vacuum-only robot works GREAT for pet hair? ->We've had different versions over the last 10 years or so, starting with the dumb af OG roombas that just bounced around the room missing half the crap on the floor (except the time it ran over the literal crap... That was a fun day). But now? Now we have the best home appliance created since the dishwasher. I am not exaggerating. It vacuums, mops and self empties. Cleans and heat dries the mop pads after every use. Powerful enough to thoroughly clean our rugs. Endlessly customizable with settings, routines, schedules etc. It's the Dreame L20 Ultra. My husband and I both love it so much. We paid about $650 on prime day this year. It's a lot of money but we feel that it is beyond worth it. We have 3 cats (one long haired), a very messy toddler and dark dark wood floors all throughout our house. It was impossible to keep clean before this. I never mopped because it was a pain in the ass. Now, we run this thing once or twice a day and they are spotless when it's done! Coming home after a long day at work to perfectly clean floors just does something for me 😂 highly recommend! This model has really good object avoidance and supposedly AI detection to avoid pet messes. We've had the occasional cord get caught up accidentally but overall it's worked really well and eliminates a lot of the cleaning up before it can run.
r/workingmoms • What are the best robot vacuums in your opinion - Are they really worth the money? ->My dreame l20 ultra clogs with pet hair. We have one golden retriever dog and it seems to not go back to the dock enough even on the highest setting to empty. Also I have issues with the robot docking it doesn’t dock without me pushing it back into the dock now after owning it for about a year.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for Pet Hair Now ->I have the dream L20 Ultra and it is a life saver. I have an XL Breed dog (Great Dane- mastiff mix) and during shedding season sheds about 2 chihuahuas worth of hair everyday. And without the vacuum I would cry everyday. I also live in rainy Portland and having it mop everyday really really helps with dirty paws etc. This vacuum has been better than all the others I’ve tried so far including the Roomba and shark.
r/RobotVacuums • What's the best robot vacuum? ->Dreame L20 avoids all cords and other obstacles . Not sure about pet poops, I always walk around before starting a clean to pick up all the toys and shoes so I obviously check for pet poop too.
r/RobotVacuums • is there really a robot vacuum that truly avoids pet mistakes ->I've had plenty of robo vacuums: dirt devil, 360 s6 and s7, roborock s5 max, ecovacs T9 AIVI, and dreamee L10s Ultra. The latter is the best one, hands down. If I we're you, I would buy a Dreamee L20 Ultra (If it's inside your budget). You won't regret it.
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum for home currently? ->After two failures with mid to high model Roborock vacs and an IRobot decided to give the Dreamehome L20 Ultra a try. Time will tell in regards to longevity but it is out of the box far superior to any robo vac I have owned. Ive only had it about a month but its done a great job for me. One caveat: I have a Golden Retriever and they are notorious for their shedding. I have yet to find a self emptying robo vac that can self empty dog fur with any consistency. The L20 included. If it wasnt for the mop feature I like because I have all hardwood floors, I wouldn't have a self emptying unit all all. My advice is if you own a dog, especially a large one that sheds, and you don't have an interest in self mopping, then just get a robo vac without self emptying. It's pretty much pointless to spend the extra since you will be emptying it yourself anyway.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum is everybody looking to buy Black Friday/Cyber Monday? ->For around $500 dreame l20 ultra is on sale right now as open box refurbs for around $520. It’s the best vacuum you can get for that price. It won the best vacuum of 2023 on vacuum wars, and was then rated the same or better than the newer models. I don’t think you’d see a significant upgrade from any other robot under $2k. Roborock q revo is also currently on sale for around $400. but is a bit of a step down. No detachable mops, no camera detection, no swinging mop arm. A bit less suction.
r/homeautomation • What are the best robot vacuums on a budget? ->I got a Ecovac but the mop function sucked. So I bought a iRobot mop (I was the cheapest option because then I didn't need to replace the vacuum as well which has been pretty good). Together they work really well. They're both set up to do the same rooms in the same order, so when the vacuum is done with the first room, I turn on the mop and off it goes. If I had to do it all again, I would probably lean towards the Dreame L20
r/AusPropertyChat • Anyone here use robot vacuums? Recommendations? ->I bought a refurbished Dreame L20 Ultra on EBay on Black Friday for $519 (USD). So far it’s been amazing. Obstacle avoidance is great. Does a really good job mopping. The rubber brush that came with it was just so so on carpet, but I swapped it out with a bristle brush from Ali Express for like $4 and the difference was night and day. I couldn’t be happier with it. I have one teenager who’s messy and a dog who sheds like it’s her job. It’s been a game changer.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum cleaner for a busy household? ->I have a Dreame L20 and a Dyson Animal 3. Just check out vacuum wars https://youtube.com/@vacuumwars?si=qg2hidEfB8gYN1FO Spend on the auto vac and you’ll love it more. The high ends are incredible.
r/malelivingspace • Best Robot Vacuums most commonly picked during this time period? ->I have that and a Dreame L20. I have 2 cats and 2 dog, never use the real vacuum. When I do, I get half a bin.
r/malelivingspace • Best Robot Vacuums most commonly picked during this time period? ->I have one, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Whenever I use my Dyson Animal 3 I get like half a bin at max. I think the L20 does pretty darn good
