Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
We have the dreame matrix 10 ultra and absolutely love it. But it is pricey but worth it to us. We got it on sale for $1399…very lucky 🍀 it does everything as advertised however we just got it (this model came out in September).
I mean you get what you pay for. Our cheaper robots clean good enough until you could clean the floors yourself. This one we only change the water once a week, it cleans its pads and changes the pads, it does such a good job I don’t feel like I need to vacuum or mop after it, it can also go up or down different level flooring. The model coming out next year can go up and down stairs also can clean boarders.
Yes once it maps it cleans accordingly, it even can see a pet and will use the pet cleaner in that area. It has three cleansers, pet, all purpose, and wood. It also takes wet mop heads off when cleaning carpet and rugs.
We have a robot vacuum/mop on every floor. Can’t wait for them to do the stairs. Ours change and clean their own mop heads, add soap for different types of floors and empties the vacuum on its own. https://www.dreametech.com/products/matrix10-ultra-robot-vacuum?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=23339921166&utm_content=&utm_term=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23345182208&gclid=CjwKCAiA3rPKBhBZEiwAhPNFQLLtBiptAJPXCyjEGURIXbk7SZ93dQhiAg2dNflKGGkauoJgpnRwpBoCLUcQAvD_BwE
Dreame Matrix 10. It does a great job and no issues.
Yes it does. It’s the most useful and amazing bit of home tech I’ve ever owned. 150sqm of tiles, rugs, a dog, 5 year old daughter and I only manual mop if there’s been a spillage of something. Had a Roborock S8 pro ultra for a couple years and now a Dreame Matrix 10 - it’s another level.
Hola. Dreame Matrix 10 es un titan. Tiene doble cepillo antienredos, ideal en tu caso con pelos largos.
You will not find any that have a fabulous customer service. I am very happy with the Mobius 60 so far. I also have tried the dreame matrix 10, mova z60, narwal flow, and the dream aqua 10 roller. The rollers mop a little better (but all had failures within a month, except the narwal which couldn't map my house well and got stuck under my furniture).
It appears I am on a quest to find the right vacuum for my home. I started off on Black Friday purchasing the Mova z60 and Narwal Flow. After about 2 weeks of testing we determined that although the Flow cleaned better, it did not path correctly in certain areas of our house and would often be over aggressive and get stuck under cabinets. So we returned it. The mova z60 although cleaning slightly worse didn't miss spots, but still would occasionally get stuck under the cabinets (she is slightly shorter than the narwal flow). Unfortunately she broke a week later (main brush error that couldn't be fixed). So she had to go back. I recently purchased the Dreame Matrix 10, unfortunately, she doesn't seem to vacuum as well as the other two often leaving behind some crumbs and her battery life is horrendous. She does not get stuck at all though which is fantastic. Going to give her another week or so to see if I change my mind but I think she may be returned to. Any suggests on a vacuum that had a decent battery and mops pretty well? It appears the Mova Mobius 60 somehow has a better battery according to vacuum wars, and its 400 dollars cheaper than the matrix. Also am considering trying the Saros 10R (but I have seen a lot of complaints about the vacuuming Also contemplating waiting for the x60, but not a huge fan of the Dreame app.
Dreame: L40s Ultra/Pro Ultra, L50 Pro Ultra, L50 Ultra, X50 Pro Ultra/Master, Matrix 10, Aqua 10 Roller/Ultra Roller/Pro Track/Ultra Track, and the D20 Pro Plus
I’d definitely bring the station up. Do note that the station is rather heavy and the water tanks should be removed before carrying them up and down. I wouldn’t go for the matrix 10 as the mop swapping simply seems gimmicky. The dreame x50 ultra will be more hands off and easier to clean and the Aqua 10 ultra roller/track should mop better but cleaning it will take more effort and it should be louder.
Just remembered that the dreame Matrix 10 which has the same fur compression feature, dustbin size as the l40s pro ultra and has dustbin and dustbag drying feature which is very helpful to prevent any mildew and stink coming from the fur and dust in the dustbag and dustbin in damp places like the UK. It’s currently at £999.
For dealing with fur it has a larger dustbin and has the fur compression feature so yes.
1. It’s expensive at £999 and can become cheaper or go back to £999 for the holidays after going back to the original retiro price 2. The mop switching function can be gimmicky and the base station is pretty big but it’s cheaper than the x50 ultra and is an improvement over the x50 3. You may not benefit from all three solutions (regular detergent, pet odor detergent, and the wood care solution) in their triple solution tank if you don’t have wood floors. Pretty sure dreame can give you a DuoSolution tank if that’s the case. Do remember that consumer protection laws protect you in the uk so if dreame or any brand doesn’t want to fix something or offer a replacement if something goes wrong(hopefully not), you have very good grounds to get a refund I’d get it from Amazon as they have the 30 day return policy.
The robot with a second mop for more stubborn stains would be the dreame matrix 10 or the MOVA MOBIUS 60. Unfortunately the S8 MaxV ultra is a discontinued model which has been superseded by the Saros 10 (marketed as the S9 in some markets such as Korea). Since it’s not available I’d check out the dreame L40s pro ultra as a vacuuming and mopping combo at £549 instead :)
The roborock models with Adaptlift can only cross a single threshold up to 3cm and a tiered threshold up to 4cm (3cm + 1cm). Only dreame and MOVA’s robots with their threshold climbing features (ProLeap and StepMaster) can cross higher single thresholds.
I like how Jamie Andrews tests aspects that are advertised for quality of life (self cleaning the dock and using hot water) whereas vacuumwars simply rattles them off like a sales brief checklist. I can confirm Dreame does reach the advertised hot water temperature listed (I tested myself with an electric thermometer connected to the area on the washboard where the water would flow from the pipes) and it usually hovers at about 5-10°C below the advertised temperature before reaching it for a second or two. Don’t know about the new AceClean dock as I don’t have it but Dreame told me any misplacement of the temperature probes will result in measuring errors of more than 10°C.
I highly recommend combo robots if your parents walk around the house barefoot, it greatly improves the feel! The combo robots I found best for keeping itself clean are the dreame and MOVA robots with the filter self cleaning function and the flat washboard. I was able to get away with making my MOVA V50 run everyday for 3 months without a noticeable change in cleanliness. After that it’ll be and the roborock Curv 2 Pro and the Narwal spinning mop robots which generally consume more water than the other options. The app is going to be a challenge for them but you can set it up for them and put it on a schedule so they won’t have to open the app at all.
Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
Whatever Robot you choose, do not use the standard microfiber mop pads. They are very bad for wood floors. That is why we bought the Dreame Matrix10 Ultra. Perfect for real wood with wool pads and wood cleaning liquid.. And for the tiles in the bathroom it takes another mop and cleaning liquid.
X50 and even better the Matrix
False. Self cleaning base station: narwal t10 Hot air drying and automatic detergent: Dreame L10S ultra Hot water washing: Ecovacs T20 Dust bin drying: Dreame Matrix 10
Nope, the q5pro /max does have the duo roller that reduces hair tangle, however long hair will still tangle around the ends of them and eventually stop them from spinning. This happens every third run if i don't clear them after the second run. The Dreame/Mova uses their "Hyper-stream duo brush" which pushes the hair out to one end of the roller where it gets sucked into the bin. Roborock duo-divide brush does the same but with a single roller plit into two. This design is not as good for vacuuming as the dreame solution.
No worries, there are so many different brush designs available now it's hard to keep track. I'm waiting for Dreame/Mova to put the Hyper-stream duo in a cheaper, vacuum focused robot without a mop, and maybe a bag dock. Around €300-500 would be good to compete with the q5pro
Agreed with all of that. We have had a Dreame with the auto empty base station for a few years now. It replaced our original robovac (an LG Roboking) and it has been rock solid. It sets off by itself every morning and does its thing, we empty the base dustbag every 6-8 weeks or so. About once a month, it'll get stuck on a cord or under a bed and can be there for a day or so before we realise and have to rescue it. Every few months, I take the dust collector station out into the shed and blow it out with the air compressor and I've done the same to the robot a few times over its life. We did the Temu bags too and even got a brush and filter replacement kit for a handful of bucks. My only gripe with it is that it seems to always want to do the laundry when I'm ironing my shirt and I've nearly stepped on it more than once :-). One of the best appliance purchases we've made.
