Thanks for sharing! I hypothesize that the X50 Ultra's poor battery life is likely due to the more power-hungry computer chip it utilizes. My own experience with the L40s Pro Ultra (mainland Chinese version) had a *worse battery life* that struggled to finish cleaning my home whereas my much cheaper combo Xiaomi robot (also mainland Chinese version) that has the same battery capacity and is also made by Dreame would be able to vacuum first and then mop my small apartment and finish with 50%. Other reviewers have reported that the L40s Pro Ultra (non-mainland Chinese edition) had a bad battery life, just like me :( Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon. I hope the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track doesn't suffer the same battery life issue, especially because it'll need a more powerful chip to process all the information coming from the HD binocular RGB cameras and the dot projector, and a power-efficient water heater in the robot to heat the water up.
I just checked and personally I’d not get the S8, I don’t rate the vibrating mops as highly as other mopping solutions. LS40 looks decent and yeah, has the side mops which are very useful
I'm happy with my Dreame LS40. I mean there are better models by Dreame. The more you pay ,the better it gets. The next step up would be a model with a camera that uses AI to avoid things like USB cables that fell on the floor and dog poop.
How big is each floor? Rugs that have warp threads or tassals can be headache. They won't get tangled in the vac but the carpets can get moved around if small. Minor issue really. My 1st floor is about 1000 sqft. It takes 2-3 hours to vacuum and mop. This is not something you will want to run daily. 2 days a week. Maybe 3. Granted you could tell it to do a quick vacuum daily and only do deep vacuum/mop 2x a week.
1 robot per floor is ideal. You do not want to run them every day though. You don't need to. I have LS40 and love it. With no budget, I'd say the **LS40 AE** is your minimum. Get something with a camera and AI. It will see things like cat vomit (Ya, love that with cats) and it will avoid it (well, it should). It will also take a pic and send it to you so you know where the vomit is. Got to love cats! No matter what you get ... you will want AI and an actual camera as part of the system. No idea why people haven't mentioned animals ..... no budget ... ya dogs poo. And cats vomit. You need to consider this when purchasing. Or else you'll have a model that just runs it over and smears it.
I had the Dreame 40 and testes the aqua Roller. The Dirty water was light grey compared to the 40 I used before that was way darker. So I assume it cleans less effectively. I sent it back.
50 will, 40 won’t
Dreame 40 and 50 will go over it
