I have the dream x30. Wonderful robot. Have it set up to vacuum and mop daily and floors are great. One feature I thought I'd never care for is the remote access. You can connect to the robot and drive it around. Been useful on vacation.

And the customer service is TERRIBLE. I would even consider changing the brand. They made me pay a fee because mine stopped working within the first 4 months, and they claimed it was due to water damage. That doesn't make sense, as I only used it for routine cleaning, and they made me pay a fee because the warranty didn't cover it. Now, they don't want to give me a device or reimburse me the money, and they are already pretty expensive. Mine was the X30, which costs $700. They charged me an extra $150, and now they refuse to replace it or do anything.

I had a Roborock S7 Ultra, Then a Ecovacs X2 and now a Dreame X30 with a Narwall Flow with water kit shipping this week. Right now my vote is for the X30 if you don’t count the App issues (I just don’t like the app) and customer support or lack of. My opinion may change after using the Narwall for a while though.

If you’re coming from X30 Ultra, the jump is mostly in object recognition, stain handling logic, and general navigation refinement. It feels more confident around clutter and reacts faster to small debris zones. Suction tuning is a bit smarter too, less random ramping and more targeted boosts. Compared to X50 Ultra, it’s less about raw power and more about detection intelligence and dock automation tweaks. If your X50s are already doing what you want, it’s not a must-upgrade situation. But if you want better liquid/stain handling and newer obstacle logic, that’s where the difference shows up.

For your use case, I'd probably lean toward the **X60 Pro Ultra Complete**, especially with the €200 discount. Your biggest pain points aren't really "maximum technology" problems—they're pet hair, thresholds, dust from the terrace, and minimizing maintenance. The X60 is extremely strong in those areas, and the ProLeap chassis is one of the more convincing threshold-climbing systems currently available. The extending side brush and mop are also genuinely useful along baseboards and edges where cat hair tends to collect. The biggest argument for the Saros 20 Sonic is your low sofa. If the X60's LiDAR turret prevents it from cleaning under a large portion of the sofa while the Saros can fit underneath, that's a meaningful advantage. Otherwise, I'd take the discounted X60. For an 80 m² hardwood apartment with a shedding cat and daily cleaning schedule, both will keep the place clean, but the X60's combination of obstacle handling, edge cleaning, threshold climbing, and aggressive automation makes it a very compelling "set it and forget it" machine. I'd only wait for the Saros if under-sofa cleaning is a major priority and you've confirmed the height difference will actually matter in your home.

I had an X30 Ultra that I used since it was introduced in 2024. I was happy with it for the most part. The lack of water spill intelligence however let it wander into the shower if the door was left open. It ran every day and mopped twice a week. The object recognition on the X60 seems to be a lot better. I was rescuing the X30 a few times a week because it thought it was trapped. It also had problems bumping the mop heads and not being able to dock n Today's run through the house on the clean genius setting worked well. There are settings for removing mops on carpet and empty frequency that don't require custom modes. I checked the bin and it is completely emptied of dog hair. I'll probably test the spill detection tomorrow and see how that goes.

I'm upgrading from an X30 Ultra that has worked well for me for the past 2 years.
