I was on a budget when I bought mine, so I went with the deebot mini just for basic cleaning. If your place isn’t that big, it’s more than enough.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a good robot vacuum with black friday deal ->I’ve got around 55sqm and use a deebot mini. I’m not too fussy about cleaning, but I do want something that saves me time and can last. So far, it’s been doing a solid job.
r/RobotVacuums • Those of you with small apartments, what robot do you use? ->I have been using [Ecovacs DEEBOT mini](https://www.ecovacs.com/th-en/deebot-robotic-vacuum-cleaner/deebot-mini) for ~3 weeks now. At time of purchase I could not find any review in English but I did find some reviews in Spanish, Japanese and Korean (YouTube did auto-translate to English). There were a few discussion on subreddit but nothing solid. Location India. The main reason I choose the mini was beacuse I was looking for Vac+Mop combo with self cleaning station, with mid-tier budget. It was either this or DREAME L10s Ultra (among others in similar price range), I went with Ecovacs for few main reasons: 1. No camera (privacy concern and I don't have pets that need AI detection) 2. Higher suction 3. Others in same budget did not have either self mop cleaning or self dust bag cleaning I have used it twice (Vac only and later Vac + Mop) every day for past 3 weeks and have few things to say. Firstly: - I don't have pets - I have tiled floors with only one mat - I used to vacuum twice a week before and mop once a week manually before. The Good: 1. It sucks up dust pretty well, although it sometimes misses a few larger pieces but it gets them in the second pass. 2. The navigation is better than I expected, it can enter and leave rooms without bumping into things and even if it does it backs up and find an alternative path. 3. Self cleaning station has one storage for clean and dirty water, separated by a pump system, you can add your cleaners into the tank (it does not have a separate compartment to disperse them) 4. The tiny size is actually pretty good for cleaning, the mop pads kind of hang a little outside the main body making it easy to get corners. Also the small size makes it easy to go under chair legs, etc. 5. Relatively silent 6. Hot air drying for mop pads 7. No hair or dust tangle in rolling brush till now The Bad: 1. No mop pad lift aka if you just want to vacuum you will have to manually remove the pads. - Also it won't vacuum the carpet till you remove the pads at-least for me. 2. Smaller battery (it is fine for small houses, numbers below) 3. Cannot re-scan a particular room or area (maybe a software update can fix this) 4. It only has an onboard dust bag and not a water tank, has to go to station to get the mop pads wet 5. The box doesn't have any replacement accessorises, keep that in mind. 6. Lidar and distance detector are dust magnets, have to clean them every 3-4 days, just a light swipe Robot settings usually are: - Suction Power: Strong - Water Flow Rate: Medium - Cleaning Speed: Standard - All setting enabled - edge deep cleaning, obstacle avoidance, suction-boost on carpet - Auto-Empty: High Frequency - Mop Auto-Wash Frequency: 6min (By Time, you can also set by room) Based on these setting I get the following performance numbers - ~15% battery for 30min runtime (Vac only) for 25m-square area - ~25% battery for 40min runtime (Vac+ Mop) for 25m-square area Overall I am pretty happy with the cleaning, this was my first robot vacuum.
r/RobotVacuums • Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini ->I haven't had problem with vaccuming or mopping. Mini is not good for bigger houses (smaller battery), but haven't had any issues with vaccuming.I don't see how size would affect it. Vaccums mainly push dust towards the inlet using the spin fan. The small size also helps with mopping - the mops pads kind of hang outside in mini so it gets to edges easily. I did not consider force tbh, it seems about alright; but I don't have any hard stains on the floor. I got mini for 34k during sale (6k bank discount) and that sealed the deal for me. I would wait for next sale or offer. Between the 2 it would come down to: - House size - Edge cleaning/going between furniture - Sound level - Bank offers/discounts Rest all seems comparable.

r/ecovacs • Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini ->\> if we run it only on vacuum, then do we have to remove the moping pad? Yes. \> if we do not have any carpet/rug at all, then would it still function for vacuuming with the mopping pad on? As in, we won't be required to remove the mopping pad then, right? You can vacuum and mop together at same time. But if you only want to vacuum you will have to remove the mop. They are magnetic, just lift the robot by the handle remove them and continue.
r/ecovacs • Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini ->I've a kitten who sheds like crazy, so I use a deebot mini to help pick up the hair. It's small enough to get under the couch and even catches some of the stray litter. But if there's a lot of fur, I'd still clean it up a bit first, otherwise any robot can get tangled when it's too much.
r/CleaningTips • Should we get a robot vacuum? ->My place also has mostly hardwood floors, but since it’s pretty compact. I went with the deebot mini. There are spots in deeper areas that I can’t reach, but it can, so yeah, no complain.
r/homeowners • Best robot vacuum for hardwood floors? ->Is your place big? I actually like the tiny robot vacuums, just make cleaning way and storage easier. I’ve got a deebot mini, I think it's enough, and got most of the features I need.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me pick my next robot vacuum! ->Is your place big? I actually like the tiny robot vacuums, just make cleaning way and storage easier. I’ve got a deebot mini, I think it's enough, and got most of the features I need.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me pick my next robot vacuum! ->Have you heard about deebot mini? I got it not long ago, it can handle the basic cleaning stuff well, while I don't have any complicated demand, so it's enough for me. The best part I think is how compact it is, my place is not big, yet it's fit for me.
r/RobotVacuums • Simple robotic vacuum? ->I'm with you on this. I picked up the Deebot Mini, which is made for small spaces, and I love it. For me, it's never really about the size of the place or how fast I can clean it myself. It's more about the effortless feeling and the peace of mind :)
r/RobotVacuums • Unpopular opinion: get a robot vacuum even for a small place ->Yeah, I’ve got one too, also happy with how well it cleans. One thing I really like is that it doesn’t take up much space, it’s small, so storing it isn’t a hassle. For the sensor, do you usually just brush the dust off? I was thinking of wiping it with a cloth before, but I’m worried water spots might mess up the navigation.
r/RobotVacuums • Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini ->I’ve same model, got it for 34k at Diwali discount. & I’ve pet as well. AMA.
r/ecovacs • Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini ->Only practical difference between N30 Pro omni and deebot Mini i feel is of pad lifting and edge mopping. Mini does not have these features (it does edge mopping by turning itself, no pad extention) So if you don't have carpets, and are not extremely critical about mopping on the edges, go with Mini. It's small and almost goes between chair legs, etc. But if you have carpets and are worried about edge mopping, go with N30 Pro omni. Also, it has larger tanks for storing clean and dirty water, so frequency of filling and emptying water is less
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs is doing a huge Diwali sale, anyone tried one in India? ->No worries. Also one more point i forgot. Mini has smaller battery...suitable for 1000-1500 sq.ft home.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs is doing a huge Diwali sale, anyone tried one in India? ->I like the Deebot mini, it's small and cute, and the water tank comes in 5 colors, so you can pick one that fits your vibe. The DJI Romo's cool too, especially the transparent one, but it's definitely trickier to match with normal home decor.
r/RobotVacuums • Best designed robot vacuums, rank em | and why don't manufacturers care about the design? ->Maybe getting a mini model would be just right. My deebot mini has all the essential features, and it’s more than enough for daily cleaning.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me choose a robot vac ->We got a Eufy vacuum only a few years ago and after having to sweep everyday due to having 2 dogs and a cat, it was this amazing luxury I couldn't even imagine. It ran really well for a long time. Then it did need to be replaced. We got the same model but this one had some issues rather soon. The remote stopped working which was a little important since i had a non mapping model. I still ran it but it would push dining room chairs around, get stuck on the base of our fan and cat scratcher. During Prime we splurged on a Ecovac Deebot that mops. Wow it is such an upgrade from what we 1st started with. We are really happy with its performance, my floors have never been so nicely maintained. Totally worth it.
r/RobotVacuums • Are robot vacuum's worth it? ->I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.
r/bernesemountaindogs • Robot vacuum recommend for BMD ->Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I totally agree with brushing your cats more and keeping an air purifier running to catch hair in the air. I also run my deebot every day to clean up the hair on the floor, it really helps keep the amount of hair under control.
r/CatAdvice • Cat hair ->Have a Deebot. Insane quality. But they could really up their game in terms of software - for old and new models.
r/gadgets • iRobot’s future isn’t looking up ->I haven’t seen many good reviews of irobot here, and it doesn’t seem that many people use it. I use an ecovacs deebot myself, and if you’re not in a rush, the X8 pro omni might be worth a look. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been really reliable so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->I owned a DeeBot and I sent it back after a week. The mapping function was terrible. It was amazing at cleaning but I don’t want to fight with a vacuum. Customer service suggested I join their support group on Facebook for assistance. I can’t even make this mess up. I’m not joining a group to use a vacuum. Instead, I bought a cheap mop/ vacuum combo from Inova and it was amazing. I still use it 2.5 years later. I’m in the market for an upgrade now that budget is larger.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendations for a RoboVac with good mop functionality ->I love my deebot, I have two dogs and two cats that shed a lot. Also, I love my tinco mop vacuum, it saves me so much time mopping but I prefer sweeping or running the vacuum before using it so I don't have to clean it from hair as much while using it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->We have a deebot, one that mobs and vacuums. Don't even hesitate. This thing cleans. We come home and its clean. spill something, he comes mop it up. Its even entertainment for the dog.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->My deebot is my nemesis…do not recommend.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I like having a robot vacuum but the ecovacs app/software is super glitchy. It will just go random places when assigned other areas. It randomly merges or forgets rooms. anyone looking into one should head to the ecovacs and vacuum subs and read up. I’m definitely going with another brand next time.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have an Ecovacs Deebot, and it does a decent job. It has the self-empty, but doesn't work on cat hair unfortunately. However, the vacuum picks up a lot of cat hair.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->I know another person spoke about his extremely bad experience with it but for me this is actually price worthy There are some cons yes (and I do intervene for some stuff not being used for vacuuming like sweet and place the dust infront of the deebot wherever it missed which happens sometimes) i.e. having demo areas and some obstacles, but the device is damn reasonable tbh
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->Maybe. But the discounts can change from year to year, I got my deebot during last year’s bf. I’m actually proud that I’ve managed to keep up the habit of cleaning it regularly ever since:)
r/RobotVacuums • Is it worth it to wait for Black Friday to buy a mid-range robot vacuum? ->I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I bought an anti-tangle roller for my robot vacuum and it works pretty well. I have a Deebot but I'm sure they make them for other brands, too.
r/CleaningTips • What’s the one cleaning hack that actually keeps your house clean every day? ->I have a Deebot, I use the mopping function 3-4 times per week minimum, 3 levels/floors in my house mapped, and it works flawlessly. When I first got it, there was a router setting that it didn’t like but their technical support was excellent and got it solved quickly and efficiently. Sucks that your experience has been different but it’s not a scam company.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Mine has never tried to empty the dust bin mid clean, only after completion. It wanders around for 5 minutes or so but eventually gives up and says that it can’t find the station. I put it back on the floor that the station lives on, pick that map as the active one, and hit return to station and it returns no problem from there.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Ecovacs, good service support and consumables are easily available in Amazon.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My house is 1500 something square feet and Deebot cleans both floors before it needs a charge.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->A robot vaccum is worth it, IMO, but there are cheaper models than a Roomba. We had an Ecovacs Deebot for several years and now we have a Lefant model. We bought both heavily discounted on Amazon Prime day.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Dreame, Narwahl, Ecovacs Deebot All other brands are cheap Chinese copies. Using an ecovacs deebot for over 4 years now. Absolutely glad i did make the decision.
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->I equate robot vacs to hand sanitizer. They do the job, but at the end of the day, soap and water make your hands feel the cleanest. I have both an ecovac deebot and a roomba 405. Honestly, the cheaper deebot worked more consistently than the Roomba. Their app is dodgy as heck. If you have pets with fur, I've found the old school janitor brooms to be the most efficient and effective on floors. Too much fur tends to clog up Roomba vacs. Go cheap to dip your toes in the robot waters.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->Do NOT go for ecovacs deebot... What a shitshow... Worst 800€ I ever spent...
r/homeassistant • Best automatic robot vacuum? ->$500 is a critical threshold. I have had different Deebots for years and they are very helpful, but the real game changers are the Omni-stations. You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. The real magic of these robots is, if you have to interact with them, as little as possible. Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally.
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->I have a eufy S1. I chose it because I wanted something that was near-flagship, but <$1000. I also really wanted a roller mop as opposed to spinning mop pads. I hated the idea of smearing dirty pads around the floor. I've had it for about a month and am in love after replacing a very, very old Ecovacs Deebot which had no mapping nor navigation. The improvement is night and day.
r/homeautomation • Whats the best robot vacuum for an average home? ->Using ecovacs deebot and thoroughly satisfied
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->My Roborock has been great for me and it was about $700CAD so well within your budget. Vacuums, mops, all those things. The one I had before was a Deebot Ecovacs. It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. Cleaned well (not better than the Roborock though) but the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I had a deebot for a couple of years and it was good. So, when it died, I got another one. That one didn't work right and oh my GOSH their customer service was horrible. I ended up returning it and got a Shark. I have no experience with Roborock but will avoid Ecovacs moving forward just because of their horrible customer service.
r/RobotVacuums • Can't decide which one ->Another deebot owner here. 2 dogs, one German shepherd, one shorter coat. Love the damn thing. Took a bit of getting used to but saves the house from hair and horse food/hay/grass that blows in the back door.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I really like mine!
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I personally treat mine like a puppy and redirect when necessary.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have a border collie/husky mix, and hardwood floors. My deebot gets 75% of the hair, and mops up all kinds of stuff as it goes. (Also parakeet fluff.. black hair, white hair, and blue budgie fluff..) I still need to do a real vacuum/mop once a week, but for keeping the filth down the rest of the week, totally worth it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Bought ecovacs Deebot. The sensors stopped working after 2 years. Got it replaced and the cost was 8K. A year later, the sensors again stopped working and the replacement cost was again 8K. A friend of mine who bought the Deebot 1 year after me had the same issues with the sensors. Their service is expensive. Even to just visit and check the issue they charge 1K. So don’t buy Ecovacs.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. Basically they sell low quality Chinese products with heavy features that are only work on paper. The Deebot doesn’t work as advertised. The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics. According to them their devices are flawless. After proving all of this unethical behaviour to Amazon, with evidence, I got my money back. I replaced with a karcher robovac whose mrp was lower but performance is 2x and zero headaches.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My deebot has been decent 🤷♂️
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
r/SmartThings • Setting up my first smart home with SmartThings – and looking for a robot-vac recommendation ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
