"We have a deebot, one that mobs and vacuums. ... Don't even hesitate. This thing cleans. We come home and its clean."

"for keeping the filth down the rest of the week, totally worth it."

"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."

"As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction."

"When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry."

"Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. ... The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. ... They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics."

"Got it replaced and the cost was 8K. ... the replacement cost was again 8K. ... Their service is expensive. Even to just visit and check the issue they charge 1K."

"oh my GOSH their customer service was horrible. ... will avoid Ecovacs moving forward just because of their horrible customer service."

"a very, very old Ecovacs Deebot which had no navigation"

"It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. ... the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps."

I bought a Lefant M3 Max on last week's Amazon deals so less than half MSRP. It's 32cm wide and the base station is 37cm wide.  It's smaller than most vacuums and as you know furniture is generally tighter and closer to each other.  This was important to me as I need the vacuum to get to the otherside of my bed and there's a small 35cm wide space where it can get through.  My old bumper vacuum Ecovas Deebot 920 could only sometimes do this area, it either ignored the space or got in but killed its batteries attempting to get out.  My apartment is mostly carpet, I only have tiles in the bathroom and kitchen so carpet cleaning ability is more important than it's mopping ability but it's still nice to be able to mop I only received it this weekend so I'm still playing with it but so far it has managed to map/vacuum my space which comes to about 32m² with 40% battery used at standard and pretty much all of the battery from 81% when run at full power. It's app is alright, when looked at from the price I paid for it, it's impressive. From the perspective of its MSRP I think the app is thin on some features and needs a UI person to go through it and make it better.

I have a reasonably-older DeeBot with the laser and yes, it does well with avoidance and the mapping works very well -- when I transport it to the basement it knows and uses that map, and vice-versa. The only complaint I have with them is that the main brush motor gear assembly is buried and ALL of these, no matter who make them, have plastic gears in said motor assemblies -- they WILL fail over time (as will the batteries, like any other lithium pack), and when they do the availability of parts from other than "small packet" via China may be slim and none. These things are silly expensive to trash over a $20 part so parts access and capability to disassemble it and change components like this (and the parts are CHEAP -- if you can get them) is and should be a MAJOR consideration lest you wind up tossing it as soon as one of these parts go bad out of warranty.

I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!

Just ordered the Roborock Qrevo Curv X this morning with the Black Friday sale. We used to have a cheaper Ecovacs Deebot and hated it/sold it because it would get stuck all the time on our carpets and couldn't get over our bathroom threshold. We recently moved into a multi story unit with hardwood floors and excited to see how this new one goes.

I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.

Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.

I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.

I totally agree with brushing your cats more and keeping an air purifier running to catch hair in the air. I also run my deebot every day to clean up the hair on the floor, it really helps keep the amount of hair under control.

Have a Deebot. Insane quality. But they could really up their game in terms of software - for old and new models.

I haven’t seen many good reviews of irobot here, and it doesn’t seem that many people use it. I use an ecovacs deebot myself, and if you’re not in a rush, the X8 pro omni might be worth a look. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been really reliable so far.
