I'm using the ecovacs deebot T20 - vacuum is great. Mop does the job, but not as well as my parents would ideally like. It also leaves spin marks on the ground. Happy with it in general, but the software is buggy as all hell. The app keeps resetting the map, with some weird workarounds required to restore it each time. I really liked the hardware, the app makes it so frustrating though.
I'm eyeing the new roborock offerings, they look practically designed for India, they're just too expensive for me.
I started with the T20, still going at our cabin upstairs, X5 got moved to our cabin main floor, gave my X9 to my daughter since they have a dog, X11 at my main home. Everyone is running perfectly. Of course the X11 does the best cleaning.
I bought the Ecovacs T20 Omni a couple years ago. Love itbut not the mop. The cleaning station gets so clogged up from dirt that it takes longer to clean it than it does to mop myself.
What model Roborock do you have? The thing with the robot mops is the best navigation and mapping are only on the high end flagships. The difference in a $500 and a $1,100 robot is vast.
I will say the improvement between the Omni T20 and the Roborock Curv was an astronomical upgrade for hair tangle issues and running over cords and dog excrement (we rescue and foster, so I have more occassional messes).
I’ve admittedly never had a Roborock in the price range. I’ve had $1,000 Omni run dog waste all over the house multiple times. This Curv did it once and only once.
