"the new one T50 has both side brush and mop, so definitely better at cleaning edges and corners."

"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."

I got the base t50 Omni Bestbuy gift card from a warranty claim on my older Roomba. Anyway received last Friday. Everything works super great and a huge upgrade over my last vacuum J7+. The map is way better than Roomba , just a slight learning curve, but loving it more and more. All right, I know I sound like a fan boy and you’re right I was becoming one however Sunday, Monday, and today Tuesday I’m consistently getting an error which is anti-drop sensors covered in dust. Clean with a dry cloth. This does not reset the system.I have done this repeatedly and nothing works except to reset the whole thing which means resetting the app/map.( customer support solution) It’s so frustrating. I’ve looked online and YouTube for videos. and have found multiple complaints over the years and also Ecovacs support video from two or three years ago showing how they fix it. This is ridiculous. Is this a hardware or software problem, not sure but I am limited to getting what is at Best Buy so now what, another month of research on which one to get? IDK
r/RobotVacuums • T50 Max Pro Omni is terrible ->Roborock Qrevo 5AE is nice, be carefull with Roborock though, they have hundreds of variants, all with tiny differences. I've got an Ecovacs DeebotT50 omni, it's pretty similar to Roborock 5AE in features, but the lower mounted lidar means it gets under a bit more furniture, but crucially, picks up a lot more obstacles!
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a robot vacuum and mop with a dock and dustbin under 500$ ->At this 500 euro price range I think the best robot you can get is the [Ecovacs T50 Omni](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DSPVTBYH) (not an affiliate link)
r/RobotVacuums • Is this a good deal?! ->I was in the same boat. Decided on the Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni because it is low profile and ca fit under the couch and stuff. It has been working well. Some people on here have problems with the software but I haven’t had any major problems. If I was buying again I’d probably get the Mova P10 Pro Ultra.
r/RobotVacuums • I’m looking into robot vacuums, why are there so many mop types? ->Roborocks terrible obstacle avoidance is simply a deal breaker for me, doesn’t matter how good any of the other features are. I’m simply not going to have everything picked up off the floor, especially since I like to run it every day around the time I wake up. I have an Ecovacs T50 whatever and despite the negative online reputation, it’s been working really well. I don’t have to worry about the random shirt or dog toy on the ground. I’m not trying to sell you an Ecovacs, but I’d say get a robot with solid obstacle avoidance. It really lets you set a schedule and not think about it.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me pick a robot vacuum .Roborock Curv, curx or MOVA v50 ->I just got my ecovacs t50 ommi non pro or max...so far it been Great.... I got it from bestbuy so I have 2 month return period and a 2 year warranty....I will be running it daily to fully test it for 2 months
r/RobotVacuums • What is the most reliable robot vacuum? ->My first vacuum was an ecovacs, I forgot the model though. It was working fine and I unfortunately replaced it with the Roborock s7maxv for the auto mop washing features, and have had tons of issues with it right around the 1 year mark. Now I’m back with the ecovacs t50 and couldn’t be happier
r/RobotVacuums • robot vacs you've used for YEARS ->Just replaced my S7 Max V with the Ecovacs t50 Omni and I’m loving it so much more than the Roborock
r/RobotVacuums • What robotvac are you guys using right now? I may have a good answer under $500 ->I'm also debating between the same models. I recently went from the S7 to the Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni. Was not a fan, the T50 vacuum bin often didn't properly empty at the dock and so much of the vacuuming was just spreading dirt around. I did like the dual rotating mops, it was definitely doing more than the S7 mop. Returned it after 3 weeks. Two adults and a dog.
r/Roborock • Roborock Saros 10r, 70z, S8 MaxV Ultra ->Xiaomi X20+ is better for homes <50sqm because there’s no onboard water tank. I’d get Dreame’s L10S Pro Ultra Gen 2 because it has much more features that work compared to the other robots in this price range. Ecovacs’ T50 Pro Omni has navigation issues due to an embedded lidar and obstacle avoidance issues because it has an RGB camera but no led fill light for dark environments. It can also only map up to 100sqm which wouldn’t be suitable for larger homes.
r/RobotVacuums • Are These Mid-Range Robot Vacuums Any Good—or Am I Missing a Winner? ->Skip the Eufy coz it is too basic imp. Between the Ecovacs, go T50 Pro Omni. Better suction, AI object avoid, solid mop lift. Worth it with pets + baby on the way.
r/RobotVacuums • Narrowed my choices down to 3 options - which one do you recommend? ->I have an old Roomba that is "dumb" and endlessly gets stuck under my TV stand so during the recent Amazon Prime Day sale I purchased the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni because it was thin enough to fit under the guilty TV stand and I was hopeful the mapping would be a huge upgrade....UNFORTUNATELY the smart features of this robot prevent it from going under the TV stand (even though it does fit) AND it will not going under my skirted sofa (which is one of my favorite things about the Roomba). There is plenty of room for it to go under the sofa but the skirt reaches nearly to the floor and the T50 keeps "seeing" it as a wall. On the recommendation of a Redditor on the Ecovacs board I enabled the "extreme passage" setting and disabled "AIVI 3D 3.0 in the hopes that it would go under those objects to no avail. SO, now I am thinking maybe any vacuum that "sees" and maps the room is going to have the same issue with the sofa skirt and am wondering if I need to find a thin "dumb" robot to just bump its way around my living room. Any recommendations--either for a thin "dumb" robot or a "smart" robot that will enter under a skirted sofa would be appreciated. I don't mind having to self empty etc--I just really want a vacuum that will go under my furniture without getting stuck. And while a mop would be great it's not a must have..that under the furniture requirement is really the top need/want for me. Thanks in advance for any input/advice/recommendations!
r/RobotVacuums • Thin robot vacuum recs ->I tried running it a couple more times--the only way it would go under sofa is for me to pin the skirt up each time, which is more work than just flipping it over and running a normal vacuum so I decided to send it back. I've ordered a "dumb" Eufy vac that is thin enough to go under my tv stand without getting stuck...will see how it does. Will have to wait until the "smart" mapping robots have more features to allow it to go under the sofa. Someone on another board suggested the Dreame and Mova have that feature but they don't make robots as thin as I need. Thanks to all for their input.
r/RobotVacuums • Thin robot vacuum recs ->Update-tried pinning up the skirt on one side to test-remapped and it went under the sofa. After mapping complete I set it to clean and it went under that end of the sofa to clean. (I should note this is a large sectional sofa -9’x7’)SO, today I pinned up the entire skirt, remapped and tried to clean. Ran the clean cycle twice and would NOT go under the sofa either time even though the mapping doesn’t show anything there 🤦🏼♀️😫. I have enabled “extreme passage” and disabled AIVI 3D 3.0 in settings per another suggestion on the ECOVACS board. First pic is mapping with no skirt pinned up. Second pic is mapping with one side pinned. Final 2 are with the entire skirt pinned. https://preview.redd.it/vuccghsiyfff1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8fc2268343181242d226ea12b295a941f3f8ba6
r/RobotVacuums • Thin robot vacuum recs ->I located in Germany, and at €499, the T50 Pro felt like a no-brainer. It’s a newer model and feels more advanced than the other two.
r/RobotVacuums • Best budget robot vacuum or best robot vacuum overall? ->Idk what everyone else is saying. The Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni has matter 1.4 so it has specific room control and frequently goes on sale for $600. It does not need a hub to connect to HomeKit.
r/HomeKit • Cheapest Matter Robot Vacuum ->Yea I know. I definitely worded my response wrong. I only mentioned it because op mentioned the switchbot he was looking at required a hub.
r/HomeKit • Cheapest Matter Robot Vacuum ->'The more expensive it is, the better'? Maybe not. My ecovacs t50 works fine for daily cleaning. Imo those expensive ones just have more features than the basic ones. Some features really makes a difference like auto emptying and auto mop washing, some is only useful when it meets your needs like passing thresholds or ultra thin design for low furniture.
r/RobotVacuums • First time buying a robot vacuum, recommendations needed ->I had both: The Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni and the Mova P50 Pro Ultra and tested them in detail. I also trusted the reviews for the T50, but I believe most of them are paid - there’s as you say not a single issue mentioned in them. Trust me, go for the P50. - Mapping on the T50 drew walls where there were none, and left out walls where they were. You cannot correct that in the app. Splitting the map into individual rooms was a lengthy and painful process, as the rooms kept coming out differently than you would draw them. And my simple room setup, where one room is offset a bit from the other one wasn’t possible at all, I had to give up. On the other hand, P50 got it 100% right on the first attempt. It even split rooms correctly and correctly put my couch, bed, and other furniture on the map. Beautiful! - Navigation is a lot better on the P50. It appears that T50‘s lidar that is embedded in the body, and not a tower on top, isn’t good enough yet. Not only does it stop and turn every couple of minutes, but in almost every run through my flat, it missed something. sometimes it didn’t go underneath my table, sometimes it missed a corner,…. this was actually the main point why I returned it eventually. You need to be able to trust your robot vac to clean everywhere. these were not impossible to reach places, and there was no feedback at all why it didn’t go there. P50 does an amazing job, I’ve only seen it two times avoid a small area, and then you get notified in the app: it shows you a picture of the obstacle it avoided there and you can set it to not avoid it next time - obstacle avoidance is generally much better on the p50. the t50 ate every rug with tassels / fringes I had consistently (which the p50 never did). t50 also kicked over a small couch table I had multiple times - to wash the mop pads, t50 rubs them against plastic parts in the base station. they then lose some fibers that I manually had to pull out of the plastic. p50 on the other hand aims a stream of water on the pads, so no fibers get stuck anywhere the only reasons I could see for the t50: - it’s about 2-3 cm less tall than the p50, so if you have low furniture, this might be valuable. p50 is tall, but it’s very brave and goes into spaces that are exactly as tall as itself, sometimes it even tries slowly to go into places that are a few millimeters smaller - p50 uses a bit of energy in standby (5W), while t50 uses almost none (1W). that’s only like 10 Euros per year in energy however if you’re in europe - base station of t50 is smaller. it’s quite bulky of the p50, but looks less geeky - the front wheel of the p50 breaks for many people, including for me. warranty will cover that, but you’ll have to send it in. apparently this was just a „bad batch“, according to their support, but i’m not sure if that’s true - p50 uses a bit more water - there is Matter support for T50, but not for P50. so you can easily control basic features via Apple Home. However, P50 also has some siri shortcuts and a reasonably good own voice assistant, so it’s fine all in all, I’m super happy with the p50 pro ultra. I’d go for it again 100 times.
r/RobotVacuums • Is Ecovacs app bad? ->Spinning-pad mopping robots have an advantage over roller robots in one major area: they are typically better at edge and corner cleaning. Roller robots have started to get edge cleaning abilities only recently, and as far as I've seen, the implementations do not (yet) get as close as good spinning-pad robots, especially in corners. The advantages roller robots have don't matter to you, since you're most likely breaking out the wet-vac for anything like that anyway. So I think you'd be happier with the T50 or Mova P50.
r/RobotVacuums • Which mopping method for a clean household? ->We got an ecovacs deebot t50 to handle our golden retriever's shedding. I think the main thing with hair is the anti-tangle, since hair caught on the brush can be a real hassle. I feel lucky that my robot rarely has that problem.
r/goldenretriever • How do you handle daily dog hair and messes? ->The ecovacs t50 is considered "top of the line" but they also have some solid cheaper options. I think the Dreame brand is also considered great from $200-600, and even for $300-400 I think includes a solid mop option. I guess I don't see the point of a multi-floor mapping robot vacuum since lowering/raising it floors with base station is a pain. And at that price point of the base station, might as well get a bargain bin second robot vacuum instead from a previous generation.
r/unpopularopinion • Robot vacuums are expensive and a waste of time. ->Great reply, and thank you! So, my full story is I purchased the Ecovac T50, I've been using it for a couple weeks. But I have some frustrations with it. I've had to re-map many times. I believe the leading reason is we recently put down hardwood floor in the living room, and the sliders on my couch in combination with 2 young feral children causes it to move around a bit, which seems to completely throw off the robots map. I've since replaced those sliders with non-slide pads, and haven't had to re-map yet, though it's only been 3 days so we'll see. The obstacle avoidance is leaving much to be desired, and with 2 kids and 3 cats it's struggle to keep everything up all the time. I've had to return it to it's base a few times even after I had thought I moved pretty much everything it would get caught on in some cases. The "Zero-Tangle" brush got hair wrapped around it in the first week, causing damage to the rubber pieces on the brush. I also really dislike the app, it's frustrating and the room setup and divisions and extremely annoying to get set up the way I want, and having to re-map so many times just adds to that frustration. This my first mopping robovac, so it's possible that this is normal for them, but I also smell a pretty awful smell while it's drying it's mops, it was worse when we first got it, though I'm not sure if it's getting better or I'm just getting used to the smell. All of those gripes aside, I do really like the look and cleaning of the T50. When it isn't aggravating, it does a great job at keeping the floors nice. I haven't seen the L40 as low as $399 and I am in the US, but I did end up ordering it on Amazon for $630 with the tri-cut brush included today. The Mova was around that same price but the sale ended today and it went back up to $899 which is stepping outside of the budget I'm looking to spend unfortunately. I'm going to see how I like the L40, but from what I've seen and read it looks to check all the boxes. I'll likely return the T50 if it works out. I really like that the L40 can detect liquid and turn the suction/brushes off for just mopping. Extremely helpful with the kids running around. I've also seen some reports of Ecovacs getting fried from liquid damage.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovac T50 Pro (non-max) vs Dreame L40 Ultra ->I bought the Ecovac T50 based off robot wars, specs, and other reviews. So much frustration. I got the Dreame L40 Ultra to compare it head to head, and I'm loving this robot. The L40 has performed extremely well in my home. I believe the T50 is going back this week.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum ->I've had it for a week now, I use it every day, and it hasn't gotten stuck yet. I previously tried an Ecovacs Omni T50, and it got stuck several times.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame L40 ultra AE - Obstacle avoidance ->We have had the T50 for a month now, zero issues, 3 maps, love it.
r/ecovacs • T30 or T50, which one would be a better choice? ->Hey everybody, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the Ecovacs X9 and Ecovacs' navigation and mapping in general. I've been using the X9 at my house for the past few weeks, and I've gained a bit more clarity on the nuances of their navigation system. --- ### A Bit of History: Ecovacs' Navigation Struggles Ecovacs has been around for a long time and, in my opinion, has always produced great robot vacuums when it comes to the fundamentals. However, **navigation has historically been a struggle for them.** For example, we haven't rated Ecovacs flagships highly at all for the past few years. The **X1 and X2 were significant failures** in our estimation, largely due to their navigation problems, leading to very low rankings in our system. As many of you probably know, the industry has been trying to move away from top-mounted LiDAR systems in favor of **internal LiDAR systems.** I presume this is to achieve a slimmer robot profile, among other reasons. Generally, I've been vocal about thinking this is a **downgrade.** Ecovacs was one of the pioneers with this internal LiDAR system, and it really wasn't very good with the X1 and X2. Nevertheless, it does seem to be the direction the industry is heading, with Roborock's flagships also mostly using internal LiDAR. I personally find it **less effective at mapping, generally less accurate, and it gives the appearance of a "dumber" robot vacuum** because it often needs to face the area it's trying to map or recognize. At best, they have about a 180° field of view, as opposed to the 360° field of view top-mounted LiDAR robots have enjoyed. --- ### The Current Lineup (T50, T80, X9, etc.) & Initial Impressions All of these new Ecovacs robots (T50, T80, X9, etc.) did amazing in our initial tests. For the first time in a long time, Ecovacs started to rank really high in our system, though there was still the lingering question of potential navigation issues. When testing the **T80**, which has a very similar system to the X9, we encountered errors where it would just stop for no reason or get stuck in places it absolutely shouldn't. I couldn't find a reason for this other than buggy navigation. With the **X9**, its navigation wasn't great in our initial tests, but it was "good enough." Because we ranked it number one in our system, I decided to take it home and test it myself to ensure none of the subtle idiosyncrasies show up only with long-term, real-world household use. --- ### My X9 Home Test: Initial Frustration & Breakthrough The first thing to note is that the **X9's mapping, in general, isn't as accurate as other robot vacuums, especially those with top-mounted LiDAR.** It doesn't automatically divide rooms correctly, and it doesn't initially tell you where major obstacles are to help you draw virtual barriers. So, you really need to know what you're doing to set up the initial map. But the far bigger problem for me was that the **first mapping run it did was inaccurate.** It was skewed to one side and caused tons of navigation failures. It couldn't find the dock and, generally, it was an incomplete dumpster fire in terms of navigating around the house. At this point, I started to really sweat. Here I'd been recommending this product as the best, and it was performing about as badly as a robot vacuum possibly could. To make matters worse, I reset the map, and it did very similar things. It also suggested a new map, which I agreed to, and that just made matters even worse. I was about to scrap the whole thing and post an emergency update telling everyone never to buy this product and apologizing for ever recommending it. However, I decided to do a **hard reset of the robot vacuum and re-map again.** This seems to have resolved the issue! Since then, I have done **11 complete runs of my floor plan with no issues – literally no issues.** It has completed each run perfectly, returned to the dock perfectly, and avoided all obstacles. --- ### Key Takeaways & Advice Don't get me wrong, I don't think anybody should have to go through this. It should work out of the box, and I stand by my view that **internal LiDAR is a massive mistake in the industry** and just makes robots more prone to error. But I will say that if you're having issues with the **X9 or any of the similar new lineup models (such as the T50, etc.), particularly with it not returning to its dock correctly** (which I think is a tell-tale sign of a bad map), **try doing a hard reset or at least turning the robot off and on and then re-mapping.** --- ### A Broader Point on Testing & User Experience There's a broader point here, of course, which I've heard others mention on this forum: **Vacuum Wars is a tester, and it's hard for us to find the idiosyncrasies in robot vacuums that only come from living with them for a long period of time.** As some of you know, we've tried to mitigate this in our ranking by continually updating how we calculate user review data from Amazon, particularly by adding the percentage of one-star reviews and a few other things. But in the end, we need to do better with this. Especially from now on, when we say something is our "favorite product," **I will be personally taking it home and living with it** so that I can do updates like this. If there is a genuine problem that can't be fixed, I will definitely retract that recommendation. I plan on doing another post here shortly about the fundamental problem of how we can get better at finding these idiosyncrasies, so look for that for more on this!
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs X9 Navigation Issues: My Home Testing Experience (And Fix) ->I would say go with the Ecovacs T50,or T50 pro if you want a longer runtime. I have a T30, its been great but it has only side mop, the new one T50 has both side brush and mop, so definitely better at cleaning edges and corners.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me choose the best robot vacuum & mop for my needs! ->We got a Eufy vacuum only a few years ago and after having to sweep everyday due to having 2 dogs and a cat, it was this amazing luxury I couldn't even imagine. It ran really well for a long time. Then it did need to be replaced. We got the same model but this one had some issues rather soon. The remote stopped working which was a little important since i had a non mapping model. I still ran it but it would push dining room chairs around, get stuck on the base of our fan and cat scratcher. During Prime we splurged on a Ecovac Deebot that mops. Wow it is such an upgrade from what we 1st started with. We are really happy with its performance, my floors have never been so nicely maintained. Totally worth it.
r/RobotVacuums • Are robot vacuum's worth it? ->I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.
r/bernesemountaindogs • Robot vacuum recommend for BMD ->Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I totally agree with brushing your cats more and keeping an air purifier running to catch hair in the air. I also run my deebot every day to clean up the hair on the floor, it really helps keep the amount of hair under control.
r/CatAdvice • Cat hair ->Have a Deebot. Insane quality. But they could really up their game in terms of software - for old and new models.
r/gadgets • iRobot’s future isn’t looking up ->I haven’t seen many good reviews of irobot here, and it doesn’t seem that many people use it. I use an ecovacs deebot myself, and if you’re not in a rush, the X8 pro omni might be worth a look. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been really reliable so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->I owned a DeeBot and I sent it back after a week. The mapping function was terrible. It was amazing at cleaning but I don’t want to fight with a vacuum. Customer service suggested I join their support group on Facebook for assistance. I can’t even make this mess up. I’m not joining a group to use a vacuum. Instead, I bought a cheap mop/ vacuum combo from Inova and it was amazing. I still use it 2.5 years later. I’m in the market for an upgrade now that budget is larger.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendations for a RoboVac with good mop functionality ->I love my deebot, I have two dogs and two cats that shed a lot. Also, I love my tinco mop vacuum, it saves me so much time mopping but I prefer sweeping or running the vacuum before using it so I don't have to clean it from hair as much while using it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->We have a deebot, one that mobs and vacuums. Don't even hesitate. This thing cleans. We come home and its clean. spill something, he comes mop it up. Its even entertainment for the dog.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->My deebot is my nemesis…do not recommend.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I like having a robot vacuum but the ecovacs app/software is super glitchy. It will just go random places when assigned other areas. It randomly merges or forgets rooms. anyone looking into one should head to the ecovacs and vacuum subs and read up. I’m definitely going with another brand next time.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have an Ecovacs Deebot, and it does a decent job. It has the self-empty, but doesn't work on cat hair unfortunately. However, the vacuum picks up a lot of cat hair.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->I know another person spoke about his extremely bad experience with it but for me this is actually price worthy There are some cons yes (and I do intervene for some stuff not being used for vacuuming like sweet and place the dust infront of the deebot wherever it missed which happens sometimes) i.e. having demo areas and some obstacles, but the device is damn reasonable tbh
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->Maybe. But the discounts can change from year to year, I got my deebot during last year’s bf. I’m actually proud that I’ve managed to keep up the habit of cleaning it regularly ever since:)
r/RobotVacuums • Is it worth it to wait for Black Friday to buy a mid-range robot vacuum? ->I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I bought an anti-tangle roller for my robot vacuum and it works pretty well. I have a Deebot but I'm sure they make them for other brands, too.
r/CleaningTips • What’s the one cleaning hack that actually keeps your house clean every day? ->I have a Deebot, I use the mopping function 3-4 times per week minimum, 3 levels/floors in my house mapped, and it works flawlessly. When I first got it, there was a router setting that it didn’t like but their technical support was excellent and got it solved quickly and efficiently. Sucks that your experience has been different but it’s not a scam company.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Mine has never tried to empty the dust bin mid clean, only after completion. It wanders around for 5 minutes or so but eventually gives up and says that it can’t find the station. I put it back on the floor that the station lives on, pick that map as the active one, and hit return to station and it returns no problem from there.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Ecovacs, good service support and consumables are easily available in Amazon.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My house is 1500 something square feet and Deebot cleans both floors before it needs a charge.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->A robot vaccum is worth it, IMO, but there are cheaper models than a Roomba. We had an Ecovacs Deebot for several years and now we have a Lefant model. We bought both heavily discounted on Amazon Prime day.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Dreame, Narwahl, Ecovacs Deebot All other brands are cheap Chinese copies. Using an ecovacs deebot for over 4 years now. Absolutely glad i did make the decision.
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->I equate robot vacs to hand sanitizer. They do the job, but at the end of the day, soap and water make your hands feel the cleanest. I have both an ecovac deebot and a roomba 405. Honestly, the cheaper deebot worked more consistently than the Roomba. Their app is dodgy as heck. If you have pets with fur, I've found the old school janitor brooms to be the most efficient and effective on floors. Too much fur tends to clog up Roomba vacs. Go cheap to dip your toes in the robot waters.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->Do NOT go for ecovacs deebot... What a shitshow... Worst 800€ I ever spent...
r/homeassistant • Best automatic robot vacuum? ->$500 is a critical threshold. I have had different Deebots for years and they are very helpful, but the real game changers are the Omni-stations. You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. The real magic of these robots is, if you have to interact with them, as little as possible. Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally.
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->I have a eufy S1. I chose it because I wanted something that was near-flagship, but <$1000. I also really wanted a roller mop as opposed to spinning mop pads. I hated the idea of smearing dirty pads around the floor. I've had it for about a month and am in love after replacing a very, very old Ecovacs Deebot which had no mapping nor navigation. The improvement is night and day.
r/homeautomation • Whats the best robot vacuum for an average home? ->Using ecovacs deebot and thoroughly satisfied
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->My Roborock has been great for me and it was about $700CAD so well within your budget. Vacuums, mops, all those things. The one I had before was a Deebot Ecovacs. It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. Cleaned well (not better than the Roborock though) but the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I had a deebot for a couple of years and it was good. So, when it died, I got another one. That one didn't work right and oh my GOSH their customer service was horrible. I ended up returning it and got a Shark. I have no experience with Roborock but will avoid Ecovacs moving forward just because of their horrible customer service.
r/RobotVacuums • Can't decide which one ->Another deebot owner here. 2 dogs, one German shepherd, one shorter coat. Love the damn thing. Took a bit of getting used to but saves the house from hair and horse food/hay/grass that blows in the back door.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I really like mine!
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I personally treat mine like a puppy and redirect when necessary.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have a border collie/husky mix, and hardwood floors. My deebot gets 75% of the hair, and mops up all kinds of stuff as it goes. (Also parakeet fluff.. black hair, white hair, and blue budgie fluff..) I still need to do a real vacuum/mop once a week, but for keeping the filth down the rest of the week, totally worth it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Bought ecovacs Deebot. The sensors stopped working after 2 years. Got it replaced and the cost was 8K. A year later, the sensors again stopped working and the replacement cost was again 8K. A friend of mine who bought the Deebot 1 year after me had the same issues with the sensors. Their service is expensive. Even to just visit and check the issue they charge 1K. So don’t buy Ecovacs.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. Basically they sell low quality Chinese products with heavy features that are only work on paper. The Deebot doesn’t work as advertised. The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics. According to them their devices are flawless. After proving all of this unethical behaviour to Amazon, with evidence, I got my money back. I replaced with a karcher robovac whose mrp was lower but performance is 2x and zero headaches.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My deebot has been decent 🤷♂️
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I love our Deebot Omni . Highly recommend and definitely get my money’s worth. Don’t buy a cheap one, that will not help you get your money’s worth.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->We have this one too and it is so good. Vital for us now with two cats who like to shed. Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->Plenty of YouTube channels that do objective testing and reviews. I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last. Ours mops as well, a handy feature if you have hard surfaces too.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
r/SmartThings • Setting up my first smart home with SmartThings – and looking for a robot-vac recommendation ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
