"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."

"If the area around the Deebot looks different each time it starts (because you dumped shoes/bags/anything within "eyesight" of the dock), it will try to create a new map, even if you turn off multiple maps, and it is extremely frustrating"
I’d get the T80 in your situation. The X9 has the ability to lift mop, vacuum and side brush independently. I don’t think that benefits you much if you do not have much of a rugged area. I have a X9 and E25, and I find the X9 to do a much better job mopping and require much less maintenance of the mop and dirty water tank. E25 was a louder vacuum and worked very fast. X9 while very slow in comparison it mopped with very little noise.
r/RobotVacuums • Which is the best vacuum+mop robot as of July 2025 (budget of around $1300/£1000)? ->Check out the ones with a roller mop. I’ve been using the ecovacs t80, and I think the roller mop does a pretty decent job.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Mop Robot ->I tried both the T80 Omni and eufy e28. You can check my last post for a comparison. I also have been using the Dreame l40 ultra. I have a dog that sheds an insane amount and all of these vacuums have no problem picking up his fur. So mopping is really where you’re gonna see the most differences. Considering the points you made about the types of messes in your place, you may find a roller mop would be a bit more beneficial for you. It’s better at cleaning up stains and spills. Now if you generally have clean floors, I don’t think you’d see a noticeable difference between a roller and a spinning mop, especially if you run it nightly. That is how my house is and the dirty water in my T80 is just as dirty in my l40 ultra. You could also check out the mova z50 or v50. I think the z50 seems to be one of the best mopping performers rn but unfortunately not available in my country. However I do have a v50 coming this week as I want to give that one a try too. I hear really good things.
r/RobotVacuums • Which is the best vacuum+mop robot as of July 2025 (budget of around $1300/£1000)? ->The dreame l40 ultra or mova p10 pro ultra is pretty popular for mid range options with flagship features. From personal experience, my ecovacs T80 Omni has been pretty good too but it’s off sale right now. You can often find it for around $900. Check my last post I did a review on it. If you’re sold on Roborock (it is often considered one of the most trusted brands) You could check out their Qrevo series. Also supposedly the mova v50 is really good and just released. I have it coming next week and will be reporting back. Sorry I’m sure this didn’t help narrow it down but just giving som ideas. Just keep in mind, every single robot vac is going to have both good and bad reviews. Some people will say it’s the best ever and some will say it’s the worst machine ever created. Focus on the neutral and mid-star reviews as they often are the most telling. But don’t get too hung up on every negative opinion you see. People are much more likely to go online and complain about issues than they are to praise when they don’t have an issue. So it often leads to bias.
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum/mop combo in the $500-$1000USD range? ->I tried both of these as well. I wrote a comparison in my most recent post and agree with your points. I ended up buying the Dreame l40 ultra as a “budget” option and I think I’m going to keep that one. Sure the T80 Omni does some things better but imo not $400 better. And at the rate the tech is moving, these things will be outdated in just a couple years. So I figured I’ll stick with one that does a good job instead of dropping 2x-3x on one that gives me marginal performance improvements. Then I can buy another mid range robot in a couple years when the tech is better and end up spending on 2 what I would have on 1 premium robot.
r/RobotVacuums • The review for Eufy x10 Omni I wish I had ->I agree it leaves too much water behind. There isn’t much in the grey water tank after a run with the e28 I am using. I have also been testing the T80 Omni and on the contrary, it leaves a lot less water behind and there is much more dirty water in the grey water tank. The problem I am concerned with is ecovacs reliability and poor customer support. Yes it may work well now but who knows how it will perform in a few months. Even r/ecovacs seems to have a ton of negative comments telling people to stay away from their products. And on top of that, a lot of the positive posts and comments you find there are fake marketing accounts. So ya idk part of me just wants to wait until there are more roller mop offerings.. dreame, mova and narwal have some that should be hopefully released in the US soon. And I’m hoping we get one from Roborock too.
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy E25 quick review ->What made you go X9 over t80? They seem to be very similar. I am testing the t80 and e28 in parallel and I agree with most of your points. I think the biggest downside you laid out was that it leaves a lot of water behind. I honestly thought it was a good thing at first but now realize it’s probably the opposite. I immediately noticed how much more t80 picks back up vs the e28. Are you returning the e25 and keeping the x9? Or is that what you’re ultimately still trying to decide? I keep going back and forth on which to keep and now I’m debating if I should also go x9 over t80… people in this sub do not seem to think highly of ecovacs which I feel is causing me some bias in my opinions.
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy E25 quick review ->Been testing this and the eufy e28 side by side. I keep going back and forth on which I feel is better. I think they both have pros and cons. The T80 takes a lot longer to clean and its navigation can be kinda wonky. Looks like it gets confused sometimes. I also think the edge cleaning isn’t all that’s cracked up to be. I’d put it on par with the e28 in that department. However, I feel the mopping on the T80 is a bit better. It is returning a noticeable amount more dirty water to the dirty water tank than the e28. And at the same time, it’s leaving a noticeable amount less water behind after a pass, so that tells me it’s picking up more dirt/mess than the e28. I also think the vacuuming on the T80 is superior. Plus the slim profile is better if you have low furniture you need it to get under. And finally as a con, the T80 takes significantly longer to complete a run than the e28 due to the shorter mop requiring more passes. Like 15 minutes longer. But, it’s quieter overall than the e28. I will continue to test these through the return window and make a formal post, but knowing there will be more roller mop options right on the horizon, part of me thinks I should just wait for something better. We already know of the mova z50, dreame aqua 10 pro and narwal flow. And I’m sure we will get something from Roborock soon. So my opinion so far is that both these devices are decent at what they do, but knowing roller mops are a relatively new overall, I think we will get better tech soon enough that it may be worth it to wait if you can.
r/RobotVacuums • Review ecovacs t80 omni ->Ya Just a Dad just posted his review today and he did not like it at all. I gotta say my T80 Omni had at least given me a better experience, but still not impressive enough to sell me on it so it is going back. Ik a lot of people like to hate on vacuum wars or call them paid shills when they have a bad experience, but Vacuums wars is strictly doing lab tests. They don’t account for real world use and reliability. Which is why it’s important to also read reviews from your average consumers. They rated how it performed in their tests and ranked it accordingly. Had they lived with it for a few weeks on end, it probably would have gone a different way. Problem is they review tons of vacuums and mops (not just robots) at a time and they don’t have time to spend an extended period of time with one. I think they do need to find a way to work it into their reviews from that aspect though…
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs x9 Omni was a massive disappointment. ->I don’t think there are any mop rollers out rn that are worth buying over some of the better spinning mops. IF you’re adamant on sticking to rollers, I would wait for some of the newer options to release if you can. But also, I think roller mops are seriously overhyped. Don’t get me wrong, they are better at some things like cleaning up spills or excessive stains. But if you run it nightly and don’t have overly dirty floors, you’re not gonna notice much difference vs a spinning mop machine. As for alternative recs that aren’t rollers, people seem to like the Mova v50 and Roborock Saros 10r. I’ve personally been using the Dreame l40 ultra and I’m happy with it after trying the ecovacs T80 Omni and eufy e28 and not liking them all that much.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Mop Roller robot ? ->I also have the eufy e28 and ya im unimpressed overall and it’s going back. I did also buy the ecovacs T80 Omni to compare and it was better if you are set on a roller mop. Otherwise you can check out some spinning mop options. I just ordered the x40 ultra and mova v50 to compare but I cannot yet speak to their performance in comparison. I will add it is important to have realistic expectations with these machines. They’re to help maintain and I don’t think the tech is there just yet to fully replace vacuuming and mopping.
r/RobotVacuums • Anything better than Eufy E25 for my needs ($800 USD budget)? ->I’ve also been testing these 2 side by side. I also agree that the T80 Omni does a better job. However, I still don’t think it’s good enough for me to want to keep it. And I especially don’t trust ecovacs as a brand. While it works good now, it’s been said over and over that reliability is not ecovacs strong suit. I do believe roller mops are better performers but there are more options right on the horizon so I think it’s worth waiting if you don’t have an immediate need to buy one and are adamant on getting one with a roller mop. My next test is to determine if a great spinning mop is better than a subpar roller mop. So I bought the mova v50 and dreame x40 and will make a post on my experience after spending some time with it.
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->The x40 that I bought was refurbished and had wonky navigation so I sent it back, but bought a new l40 ultra and I really like it. The navigation is pretty good and object avoidance has been pretty solid too. Is it perfect? No. And the T80 is probably still a bit better at mopping. But it was good enough for me to realize that it wasn’t worth paying the extra money for the T80 or e28. So both of them got sent back and I kept the l40 ultra. As for the Mova v50, I have it sitting in its box still in my house as I decided I’m going to send it back for the fact that I don’t feel it’s worth me spending twice the price as the l40 ultra for what is likely marginal performance gains. Don’t get me wrong I am sure it is better, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the robot vac tech is just moving so quickly that spending money on a premium robot whose features will be dated in just a couple years wasn’t a good idea. So I’m happy with the performance of the l40 ultra and will be keeping that one.
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->I share most of your opinions about the e28. I just posted a review myself comparing it to the ecovacs T80 Omni which I feel does a better job. I know everyone is gung-ho on the roller mop design but I think a good spinning mop vac is better than a subpar roller mop. I’m sure we will eventually get a roller or track mop option from Roborock and I expect it will be one of the best performers as Roborock typically is.
r/Roborock • Roborock Saros 10R and Eufy Omni e28 one week review ->I've got the T80, haven't really noticed any obvious missed spots. Tight corners or oddly shaped furniture legs can be a little tricky, but that's normal. I think firmware updates might make it smarter over time. Overall, it keeps the floors looking good without me having to follow it around, and for everyday cleaning, it works well.
r/ecovacs • Can the roller mop get close to the edge? ->Robot vacuums these days have so many new features and better cleaning performance, so getting one would really help with housework. I picked up an ecovacs t80 a few months ago, and it’s really saved me a lot of time on cleaning. The roller mop is especially great for spills and wet stains, and I think I'm happy with my choice.
r/CleaningTips • Will I regret getting a robot vacuum? ->You can check vacuum wars scores, the dreame X50 and X9 omni generally perform better across the board but have poor battery in comparison. I find that the T80 omni is a better middle ground, but they aren't as good as others in object avoidance and there have been reports of a stuck bug (although I assume software issues get patched eventually) For value you are better off with a midrange bot, I don't recommend buying the newest bot for +1000$. Lastly there is no bot that scores as best in all categories, especially mopping results vary a lot.
r/RobotVacuums • Best budget robot vacuum or best robot vacuum overall? ->No single bot is the best in every category, and even if they are the best in a category, how much better are they really? I went with the deeboot T80 omni because It scores well across the board without sacrifing battery life. It's navigation and obstacle avoidance are just average, but it's not horrible either. Pick a bot based on your needs, you won't find "the best" at everything.
r/RobotVacuums • For the love of God, is there objectively a good robovac choice? ->I got mine 2 days ago, got it at a great price though. I was surpised by how quiet it was, the carpet deep cleaning is amazing, and the mopping is excellent. Obstacle avoidance and navigation are decent, but nothing to write home about. Battery life is excellent, something that the best bots are starting to struggle with. Never got stuck, even on multiple carpets. Biggest problem is that the bot is "too careful" it stays a bit too far away from edges to my liking, obviously a lot better than the bumper car I used to have, but it means edges aren't being cleaned as well as I like. It took the bot 64 minutes to clean 46m3 of surface (vacuum+mop) doing it separately (vacuum than mop) increased the time to 100 minutes. This is not having it do the carpets, than the furthest rooms. For the price I've paid I'll likely keep it, but I hope I can get the bot closer to the edges.
r/RobotVacuums • Review ecovacs t80 omni ->There is no bot that performs the best in each area, but most users will not need this. I do think vacuum wars does a terrific job, however I don't always agree with the weight of their scoring system. While the X9 is currently #1 if you check the individual scores you see that navigation is pretty near average, and battery life is below average. A lot of weight is given to mopping performance, vacuuming power and features. I went with the T80 omni instead, while missing a feature or 2 over the X9 and scoring slightly worse in both mopping and vacuuming, it's battery life is way above the X9 and more importantly so is its navigation. It's again, not a flawless product, but I managed to fix most of my issues with the app, and it's a huge upgrade from my roborock S5. I recommend against paying +1000$ for any bot, as there isn't a flawless model, and there is always something better around the corner. Get a good deal and move on, in 5 years you'll likely buy one that will blow any current flagship away.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs x9 Omni was a massive disappointment. ->Got an ecovacs T80 omni for 680€ in Europe, pretty sure I can't get a better high end offer than that. The dreame L40 at 500€ was also enticing though, but the X40 at 800€, X50 at 1000€ and the ecovacs X9 at 930€ all felt very expensive in comparison.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day last chance- a few hours left to score PD deals. Are you on the fence? Let's cut through it. ->Do you still feel the same way about t80? I loved mine for a few weeks and tiled floor did get cleaner but it really does not clean corners and close to the baseboards at all. Miss my Neato...
r/RobotVacuums • Neato is still my favorite robotic vaccum ->Vacuuming: Mova V50 > Mova Z60 > eufy E25 or E28 or Narwal Flow > Mova Z50 > Ecovacs Deebot X8 or T80 / Yeedi S14 > Ecovacs Deebot X9. Mopping: Mova Z60 or Ecovacs Deebot X8, X9, or T80 / Yeedi S14 > Mova Z50 > eufy E25 or E28 > Narwal Flow > Mova V50.
r/RobotVacuums • I just want the best robo vac available and the research is killing me ->I disagree. These suction power ratings are always an indication of actual performance. They might not be perfect, since other factors exist, but they are an indication. Reviews are subjective (some don't even use the highest settings). Suction power isn't. If your 2000 Pa robot has much better floor pick-up than your 12000 Pa robot, something's wrong with your 12000 Pa robot. My 20000 Pa eufy Omni E25 has better hard floor pick-up performance than my 19000 Pa Mova Z50 and my 18000 Pa Mova P50 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebot T80.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame, Roborock, Mova, or Eufy? ->Roller. They handle it well. Yes, they really work. No, they don't just look impressive. I recommend that Yeedi, the Ecovacs Deebot T80, or the eufy Omni E25.
r/RobotVacuums • Which kind of mop works great for cleaning? ->Yes, Ecovacs Deebot T80 and eufy Omni E25.
r/RobotVacuums • Which kind of mop works great for cleaning? ->I’m happy with my T80 Omni. My floors have never been this clean. I only have hardwood floors though, so I can’t speak to the carpet ability. The little rotating brush does a great job of getting corners and edges, and the extending mop keeps a tight edge to the wall/furniture/random dog toys in the way. My only complaint would be with how small the little HEPA filter in vacuum is. It does its job, and the mesh cover takes care of the dog hair, but it loads up a little quick. I should probably dust more.
r/RobotVacuums • ANYONE HAPPY WITH THEIR ECOVAC ROBOT ->I got an ecovacs t80 omni, and it has a nice white look, very simple and clean. The dock isn't very compact though, so it still needs a bit of space.
r/homeowners • Robot vacuum recommendations for minimalist homes? ->The mopping on the T80 is solid, but large food chunks are tough for any robot. It's best to pick those up first, then let it mop. Running it in "mop after vac" mode also helps keep the robot cleaner and makes it last longer.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs T80 Omni or Dreame L40 Ultra? ->I'm not really into smart integrations, but I’ve got to say, I’m actually pretty happy with my ecovacs t80. It does a great job with cleaning, and that’s what really matters to me.
r/homeassistant • Which robot vacuum is best with HA right now? ->I’ve got an ecovacs t80 at home, and its roller mop does a great job on my hardwood floors. It could handle small messes like coffee or drink spills, and if something doesn't come clean the first time, it automatically goes back for another pass.
r/RobotVacuums • Black Friday advice: best vacuum + mop robot with dock for ~70–80 m² hardwood (budget up to €1,500) ->I bought ecovacs t80 for couples of weeks, and it's been good for daily cleaning. I've got a pet, so sometimes there're paw prints on the floor, the roller mop handles there messes well without leaving streaks or water marks. And it doesn't need much maintenance either, which honestly saves me a lot of time.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for the best vacuum/mop robot for a tiled apartment ->I got the ecovacs t80, which has a similar mop to their flagship x9 but comes at a lower price. It cleans really well on my hardwood floor without leaving any streaks. The mop stays pretty clean after being washed in the station, so it doesn't require much maintenance. I just wipe the sensors and clean the water tray and the filter in the water tank from time to time.
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone using a roller mop for more than 3 months? Still recommend it? ->I got an Ecovacs T80 recently (less premium than the X9 you are looking at, but similar features) and I had a bit of apprehension due to some reports of poor navigation as you mentioned. But it’s been great. Initial mapping was quick and accurate. I’ve only done a full home clean 3 times but it hasn’t gotten stuck once. Vacuuming is good but what has impressed me the most is the roller mop which makes a massive difference on my tiled floors and seems to be doing a good job at cleaning itself.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->No worries, and sorry for confusing you then :-) And I can definitely understand where you are coming from as I have seen similar comments as well! Main reason I still went for Ecovacs is I wanted a roller mop as opposed to spinning pads as there is pretty much consensus that it works better, combined to a robot which isn’t taller than 10cm as I have a few low pieces of furniture, and combined with what is available where I live this didn‘t really leave many options. But as I saidI am quite glad I did (although I can’t comment on long term reliability and maintenance since I’ve had it a little less than a week.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->My D5 died recently (after about 8 years) and I was fine with it, not having tried anything newer. But I have to say the Ecovacs T80 I got as a replacement is clearly better in terms of navigation (the Neato had a tendency to bump against skirting board and furniture and leave marks). And also the extra roller mop really makes a difference and my tiled kitchen floor looks visibly cleaner). Pure vacuuming performance seems pretty similar on my laminate and tile floors. I do have lower expectations from the Ecovacs (and most other current brands) in terms of lifespan though, but honestly it clearly does a better job at cleaning than the Neato. I definitely got value for my money with the Neato though!
r/RobotVacuums • Neato is still my favorite robotic vaccum ->To be honest yes it does the job pretty well for me (keeping in mind I’m comparing it to a Neato D5, so not Neato’s last generation). I would’t say it’s perfect in corners and alongside skirting boards, but it is decent enough and the Neato wasn’t really better (the Neato’s actual vacuuming area was getting closer the the sides and corners do to the D shape and width of the opening, but on the other hand the side brush of the Ecovacs does a better job at bringing side dust and debris under its vacuum which seems to compensate for me). And for me another huge benefit is that the Neato was constantly damaging the bottom of my ceiling to floor vertical blinds as it could not see them and was swallowing them, so I had to set and exclusion zone around my window bay. While the Ecovacs does see them and is able to clean closer to them without damage. Adding to the fact that my white skirting boards are full off black makes from the Nearo bumping into them (even on careful mode) while the Ecovacs doesn’t do that (my place has some rooms with walls which aren’t perfectly perpendicular to each other and some which are slightly curved and the Neato wasn’t great at handling those while the Ecovacs is fine. And the Ecovacs is also better at navigating tight areas without numbing into things. One clear drawback of the Ecovacs for me is that because the vacuuming area underneath the appliance isn’t as wide as the Neato’s, it needs to me back and forth in the room quite a bit more which makers cleaning slower. But for me this is a trade-off I’m happy to make for the better navigation (which helps somewhat catch-up on cleaning time). I understand experience can differ so definitely not saying your feedback isn’t valid, but honestly for me I have forgotten about the Neato and I have absolutely no regrets.
r/RobotVacuums • Neato is still my favorite robotic vaccum ->I have one at home. The main thing I’ve noticed is how much time it saves. Anything that saves you 12 hours a month is definitely worth it. I got an ecovacs t80 around a few month ago, and I run it every few days to mop my hard floors and clean the carpets. From what I can tell it mops very thoroughly and I like that a lot cause I hate dirty floors.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->I have a T80 and a X9 pro. X9 pro is better in terms of the app. Cleaning is similar.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->I am a couple days in of testing both robots as well (E28), bought during Prime Day, and absolutely share the same sentiment as you so far. I was hesitant to purchase the T80 a day after the E28 due to the mostly negative reviews on here regarding ecovacs, but thought I owed it to myself to test it as well. The T80 mapped, vacuumed, and vac + mopped so far without getting stuck once. The E28, however, got stuck just now on its first vacuum 4 times by getting tangled in small wires in my office. Watching the E28 vacuum definitely felt like it was way more aggressive in trying to clean around table/chair legs and carpets so much that it pushed them around and scratched itself up in the process. The E28 also can't fit under our cabinets due to the LIDAR sensor sticking up, but the T80 could. The T80 also did seem to be a little quieter on Standard compared to E28 Turbo, but is significantly more quiet on "Quiet" mode compared to E28 "Quiet" mode. I also agree regarding the mapping and room separation is better on the T80 vs E25/28 app. The Eufy app made so many rooms it took me a while to edit and sort them out, whereas the Ecovacs map was pretty good off the bat, and the map is much easier to modify and edit than the Eufy app. I'm about to try mopping with the E28 soon as well for comparison, but it will have to do wonders to have us keep it at this rate.
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->I have the T80 Omni, it’s excellent. Cleans incredibly well, mop and dirty water systems are very well designed with no debris getting stuck, navigation has been great and obstacle avoidance has been perfect.
r/RobotVacuums • What's the real difference between the ecovacs t80 Omni and x9 pro Omni? ->I have the E25 and the T80 Omni. The T80 is far superior in cleaning, returning the E25.
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy e28 can't clean shedding carpet ->Deebot T80 Omni. Its excellent.
r/RobotVacuums • Any good roller mop robot vacuum under 1K? ->Unfortunate, It works incredibly well. I think it's designed much better than the Eufy. The smaller width roll applies a lot more pressure to the ground to clean and the cleaning of the actual roller and dirty water tank is perfect vs. the Eufy's system will require regular maintenance.
r/RobotVacuums • Any good roller mop robot vacuum under 1K? ->Same experience here. Bought the E25 and the T80 Omni and found the T80 to be much better in almost every regard. I didn’t have mapping issues that other reported though. Mopping is much better on the T80 than the E25
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy E25 quick review ->I also think it’s just better designed, looking at the onboard dirty water tank, the catch seems much better and it seems to get less debris stuck in there vs flushing it to the base station.
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy E25 quick review ->The roller mop does a much better job of mopping. If you have a lot of hard floors, I would go for a roller mop style. Very happy with my T80 Omni.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovac x9 pro Omni VS Mova v50 ->Been super impressed with mine as well.
r/RobotVacuums • Review ecovacs t80 omni ->Been very pleased with my T80 Omni for almost 3 months now. I’m still amazed with how well it cleans my tile floors. I get what he’s saying, but also, my experience has been excellent so far
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum & Mop: What I Wish I Knew Before Buying ->I have been looking to purchase a new robot vacuum as the previous one I had was over 5 years old and was never great due to poor obstacle avoidance. I took some time and researched quite a bit and determined I wanted something with a roller mop (My downstairs is mostly tile, with a few low pile rugs) and something that has good "value". After reading a ton of reviews and research, I decided either the Eufy E25 or the Ecovacs Deebot T80 Omni would be the best for my situation and "value", but was not sure which would be best so I ordered both. My personal bias was to like the Eufy more since I paid $200 less than the T80 Omni ($899 vs. $699), however, after extensive testing, even at a higher price tag, the T80 Omni won me over. Let me preface this in saying, it seems everyones experience and homes are different, so a robot vacuum that works great for me and my situations might not work well at all for someone else. For me and my house, the T80 Omni has been incredibly flawless. It mapped my whole downstairs perfectly the first try, the way it separated the different rooms was much better than the Eufy E25, and I even moved the base station at one point for which it recognized, re-found, and adjusted without any issues or needing a remap. I currently have the T80 Omni set to clean the main areas of my downstairs every other day with a full clean once per week. It has been running this schedule flawlessly for the last 3 weeks and has not had a single issue getting stuck on any furniture, objects, or anything. The only thing I've done is empty the dirty water tank and put clean water + Tineco cleaning solution in the clean water tank. This is incredibly impressive as I also have a small dog, a daughter, and a SO who both have very long hair that seems to shed more than my dog and has always been any issue for any robot or vacuum in general. I have not had any hair stuck on the side brush, vacuum brush, or roller brush. It's been flawless and my floors have never been so clean, even dried coffee stains have been removed without issue. Now, when comparing with the Eufy E25, it was night and day. The eufy for some reason could not detect my bar stools properly and would push them around, the hair would get caught in the spinning brushes, the vacuum brush, and worst of all, the roller brush. It also for some reason seemed to always suck up a piece of paper in the big roller brush, shred it to a million pieces, and make a huge mess of the floor and base station when it went back to "clean" it's roller brush. For the week I had it, I had to make multiple interventions to clean it out, get it unstuck, and it did not do any better job of cleaning the floors despite putting down A LOT more water when it mopped. The only benefit of the E25 is it finished the job quicker with its larger width roller brush, but I don't care if it takes a bit longer for the T80 since it's a robot and I'm not doing it. Finally, I decided to return the E25 which I bought through Eufy's website and the process was not great. It was 2-3 business days between responses from their customer service, they did everything they could to avoid sending me a return label, and it's been 3 business days since it arrived back to them and I still don't have my refund. For me, the T80 Omni is a far superior robot vacuum and I've been very pleased with it so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->That's great, I'm glad its working out for you. At $699, I think it has a ton of value and is a great all-around robot. Just for me and my particular house, I preferred the T80. I wish I got the Prime deal for the T80 at $799 instead of $899, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning and repurchasing even though I was still in the return window.
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->Yea, I don't feel any FOMO to be honest. The T80 Omni has been flawless and performs excellent. I understand the hesitation over brands, but I think every brand has great products and not so great products. This seems to be one of the good ones from Ecovacs, I'm brand agnostic, just very pleased with this specific product at it's price point. Why did you purchase the T80 Omni if you are biased against Ecovacs as a company?
r/RobotVacuums • Impressed with Deebot T80 Omni and comparison to Eufy E25 ->Huh? Takes less than a minute to clean dirty water tank on my T-80 and about 2 minutes to clean the water tray.
r/RobotVacuums • Which of these two kinds of Robot Vacuum Mop you think is better? ->Glad it's working for you - I picked up a Eufy E25 for prime day and I wasn't happy with it. Constantly tangled in wires/hairs, and the mopping performance wasn't very good. We have hard floors all around, two cats, a dog, so we needed something that can manage all the hair. The vacuuming wasn't bad but for $700, it wasn't the solution for us so we're sending it back. Since then I got the Ecovacs T80 omni due to vacuum wars review - it's much better but not perfect (did cost $900). It cleans slow but vacuum, mops, and maps very well. It uses a lot of water though, so I am constantly changing the tank and emptying the dirty water. Still not sure if I am keeping it, $900 is a good chunk and definitely want at least a 5-6 year life.
r/RobotVacuums • The review for Eufy x10 Omni I wish I had ->I purchased the T80 Omni a month ago. It has been a champ with both vacuum and amazing with the roller brush mopping. I’ve got 25% carpet/85% tile and hardwood with rugs. This thing is brilliant.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->From my experience with the x8, the roller mop does really well on mopping. It actually removes the stains, not just smear it around. The maintenance is quite simple, just wipe the sensors from time to time, and clean the tray and change the water once a week, so far it's been smooth. The t80 feels like a nice balance of features and cost in their lineup. No matter what you pick, just buy from place that has good return policy if you don't end up liking it.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot vacuum that mops well? ->I second the roller mop. I picked up the t80 and have been testing it, so far I really like the way it mops. The floor feels fresh, no liquid residue or any cleaner build up, almost like it was mopped by hand. I can walk barefoot, no complains. IMO the roller mop is a big win.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot vacuum that mops well? ->I have a T80 for abour a month. No problem so far. The navigation is a little bit slower than my old roborock but the roller mop is really good. Highly recommended 👍
r/RobotVacuums • ANYONE HAPPY WITH THEIR ECOVAC ROBOT ->I've got the Ecovacs T80 for a week and it's amazing. No issue with both the robot and the app.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendation for Vac/Mop Around $1000 USD? ->I have the T80 and it is doing great. I have a 6 year old Beagle and the mopping performance is very effective, although you will have to clean the dock more often.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->I've just got the Ecovaccs T80 for $600 and I think it is the best option for cleaning performance in this price range
r/RobotVacuums • Help me compare and choose between models please ->I think different country will have different price. And it also depends on the seller's discount. I picked up my T80 from Shopee mall in Vietnam.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me compare and choose between models please ->I don’t think many robots can really get all the way to the edges, but a side brush might help. I got the T80 from ecovacs, it came with one, and it could sweep dust out of the corners while it worked.
r/RobotVacuums • A robovac that actually cleans corners? ->From what you said, it sounds like your cat and the mess it makes are the main thing. I've got an ecovacs t80 and a dog, the robot deals with dirt and hair without much problem.
r/RobotVacuums • Need some advice (new to robot vacuums) ->Personally I think roller mops clean better than spinning ones. The ecovacs T80 is a decent roller mop pick but a little going too far over budget. But if you’re leaning toward spinning mops, maybe check out the T50 Max.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum with mopping - UK ->The T80 was my first robot vacuum, and the auto-emptying feature has been a lifesaver, I don't have to babysit it. The roller mop works great too, it keeps the floors really clean. I've got pretty much what I wanted, but I'm still curious to see what the X11 will bring.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->I’m pretty happy with our ecovacs t80. We’ve been using it for a few months now, and it still cleans decently.
r/homemaking • What's the current best robot vacuum that you've ever owned for home use? Really worth it? ->My deebot t80 has both vacuum only and mop only modes, but the mop mode is really only for smaller areas. I usually run it in mop after vacuum mode, and I feel it works great.
r/RobotVacuums • Are there any robot vacuums that mop/vacuum, but not at the same time? They can do either or? ->I've been using the ecovacs t80 for about 3 months now, and so far I'm really happy with it. I've got a dog, so there're always little messes on the floor. I run it everyday, and the roller mop does a great job cleaning up paw prints and whatever my dog tracks in.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me choose a robot vac ->Hey everybody, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the Ecovacs X9 and Ecovacs' navigation and mapping in general. I've been using the X9 at my house for the past few weeks, and I've gained a bit more clarity on the nuances of their navigation system. --- ### A Bit of History: Ecovacs' Navigation Struggles Ecovacs has been around for a long time and, in my opinion, has always produced great robot vacuums when it comes to the fundamentals. However, **navigation has historically been a struggle for them.** For example, we haven't rated Ecovacs flagships highly at all for the past few years. The **X1 and X2 were significant failures** in our estimation, largely due to their navigation problems, leading to very low rankings in our system. As many of you probably know, the industry has been trying to move away from top-mounted LiDAR systems in favor of **internal LiDAR systems.** I presume this is to achieve a slimmer robot profile, among other reasons. Generally, I've been vocal about thinking this is a **downgrade.** Ecovacs was one of the pioneers with this internal LiDAR system, and it really wasn't very good with the X1 and X2. Nevertheless, it does seem to be the direction the industry is heading, with Roborock's flagships also mostly using internal LiDAR. I personally find it **less effective at mapping, generally less accurate, and it gives the appearance of a "dumber" robot vacuum** because it often needs to face the area it's trying to map or recognize. At best, they have about a 180° field of view, as opposed to the 360° field of view top-mounted LiDAR robots have enjoyed. --- ### The Current Lineup (T50, T80, X9, etc.) & Initial Impressions All of these new Ecovacs robots (T50, T80, X9, etc.) did amazing in our initial tests. For the first time in a long time, Ecovacs started to rank really high in our system, though there was still the lingering question of potential navigation issues. When testing the **T80**, which has a very similar system to the X9, we encountered errors where it would just stop for no reason or get stuck in places it absolutely shouldn't. I couldn't find a reason for this other than buggy navigation. With the **X9**, its navigation wasn't great in our initial tests, but it was "good enough." Because we ranked it number one in our system, I decided to take it home and test it myself to ensure none of the subtle idiosyncrasies show up only with long-term, real-world household use. --- ### My X9 Home Test: Initial Frustration & Breakthrough The first thing to note is that the **X9's mapping, in general, isn't as accurate as other robot vacuums, especially those with top-mounted LiDAR.** It doesn't automatically divide rooms correctly, and it doesn't initially tell you where major obstacles are to help you draw virtual barriers. So, you really need to know what you're doing to set up the initial map. But the far bigger problem for me was that the **first mapping run it did was inaccurate.** It was skewed to one side and caused tons of navigation failures. It couldn't find the dock and, generally, it was an incomplete dumpster fire in terms of navigating around the house. At this point, I started to really sweat. Here I'd been recommending this product as the best, and it was performing about as badly as a robot vacuum possibly could. To make matters worse, I reset the map, and it did very similar things. It also suggested a new map, which I agreed to, and that just made matters even worse. I was about to scrap the whole thing and post an emergency update telling everyone never to buy this product and apologizing for ever recommending it. However, I decided to do a **hard reset of the robot vacuum and re-map again.** This seems to have resolved the issue! Since then, I have done **11 complete runs of my floor plan with no issues – literally no issues.** It has completed each run perfectly, returned to the dock perfectly, and avoided all obstacles. --- ### Key Takeaways & Advice Don't get me wrong, I don't think anybody should have to go through this. It should work out of the box, and I stand by my view that **internal LiDAR is a massive mistake in the industry** and just makes robots more prone to error. But I will say that if you're having issues with the **X9 or any of the similar new lineup models (such as the T50, etc.), particularly with it not returning to its dock correctly** (which I think is a tell-tale sign of a bad map), **try doing a hard reset or at least turning the robot off and on and then re-mapping.** --- ### A Broader Point on Testing & User Experience There's a broader point here, of course, which I've heard others mention on this forum: **Vacuum Wars is a tester, and it's hard for us to find the idiosyncrasies in robot vacuums that only come from living with them for a long period of time.** As some of you know, we've tried to mitigate this in our ranking by continually updating how we calculate user review data from Amazon, particularly by adding the percentage of one-star reviews and a few other things. But in the end, we need to do better with this. Especially from now on, when we say something is our "favorite product," **I will be personally taking it home and living with it** so that I can do updates like this. If there is a genuine problem that can't be fixed, I will definitely retract that recommendation. I plan on doing another post here shortly about the fundamental problem of how we can get better at finding these idiosyncrasies, so look for that for more on this!
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs X9 Navigation Issues: My Home Testing Experience (And Fix) ->I didn’t like any options Costco had since they were all spinning or pad mops. I’ve gone ahead and nabbed the T80 from Amazon since it was $599. Seemed comparable to the X8 for carpet and with long hair cats, I need that carpet performance.
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day Recommendations from a Robot Tester ->I’ve got an ecovacs t80 robot vacuum. I didn’t have time to clean, and hiring a cleaner didn’t seem worth it as the rest of the house wasn’t a problem, only the floors were always dirty. So I thought I’d try the robot vacuum. It’s turned out to be a good choice. It’s a pretty cost-effective roller mop model, and works pretty well on my hard floors. I’ve been using it for over six months, and it’s truly saved me some time and effort.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->We got a Eufy vacuum only a few years ago and after having to sweep everyday due to having 2 dogs and a cat, it was this amazing luxury I couldn't even imagine. It ran really well for a long time. Then it did need to be replaced. We got the same model but this one had some issues rather soon. The remote stopped working which was a little important since i had a non mapping model. I still ran it but it would push dining room chairs around, get stuck on the base of our fan and cat scratcher. During Prime we splurged on a Ecovac Deebot that mops. Wow it is such an upgrade from what we 1st started with. We are really happy with its performance, my floors have never been so nicely maintained. Totally worth it.
r/RobotVacuums • Are robot vacuum's worth it? ->I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.
r/bernesemountaindogs • Robot vacuum recommend for BMD ->Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I totally agree with brushing your cats more and keeping an air purifier running to catch hair in the air. I also run my deebot every day to clean up the hair on the floor, it really helps keep the amount of hair under control.
r/CatAdvice • Cat hair ->Have a Deebot. Insane quality. But they could really up their game in terms of software - for old and new models.
r/gadgets • iRobot’s future isn’t looking up ->I haven’t seen many good reviews of irobot here, and it doesn’t seem that many people use it. I use an ecovacs deebot myself, and if you’re not in a rush, the X8 pro omni might be worth a look. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been really reliable so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->I owned a DeeBot and I sent it back after a week. The mapping function was terrible. It was amazing at cleaning but I don’t want to fight with a vacuum. Customer service suggested I join their support group on Facebook for assistance. I can’t even make this mess up. I’m not joining a group to use a vacuum. Instead, I bought a cheap mop/ vacuum combo from Inova and it was amazing. I still use it 2.5 years later. I’m in the market for an upgrade now that budget is larger.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendations for a RoboVac with good mop functionality ->I love my deebot, I have two dogs and two cats that shed a lot. Also, I love my tinco mop vacuum, it saves me so much time mopping but I prefer sweeping or running the vacuum before using it so I don't have to clean it from hair as much while using it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->We have a deebot, one that mobs and vacuums. Don't even hesitate. This thing cleans. We come home and its clean. spill something, he comes mop it up. Its even entertainment for the dog.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->My deebot is my nemesis…do not recommend.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I like having a robot vacuum but the ecovacs app/software is super glitchy. It will just go random places when assigned other areas. It randomly merges or forgets rooms. anyone looking into one should head to the ecovacs and vacuum subs and read up. I’m definitely going with another brand next time.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have an Ecovacs Deebot, and it does a decent job. It has the self-empty, but doesn't work on cat hair unfortunately. However, the vacuum picks up a lot of cat hair.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->I know another person spoke about his extremely bad experience with it but for me this is actually price worthy There are some cons yes (and I do intervene for some stuff not being used for vacuuming like sweet and place the dust infront of the deebot wherever it missed which happens sometimes) i.e. having demo areas and some obstacles, but the device is damn reasonable tbh
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->Maybe. But the discounts can change from year to year, I got my deebot during last year’s bf. I’m actually proud that I’ve managed to keep up the habit of cleaning it regularly ever since:)
r/RobotVacuums • Is it worth it to wait for Black Friday to buy a mid-range robot vacuum? ->I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->I bought an anti-tangle roller for my robot vacuum and it works pretty well. I have a Deebot but I'm sure they make them for other brands, too.
r/CleaningTips • What’s the one cleaning hack that actually keeps your house clean every day? ->I have a Deebot, I use the mopping function 3-4 times per week minimum, 3 levels/floors in my house mapped, and it works flawlessly. When I first got it, there was a router setting that it didn’t like but their technical support was excellent and got it solved quickly and efficiently. Sucks that your experience has been different but it’s not a scam company.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Mine has never tried to empty the dust bin mid clean, only after completion. It wanders around for 5 minutes or so but eventually gives up and says that it can’t find the station. I put it back on the floor that the station lives on, pick that map as the active one, and hit return to station and it returns no problem from there.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->Ecovacs, good service support and consumables are easily available in Amazon.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My house is 1500 something square feet and Deebot cleans both floors before it needs a charge.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->A robot vaccum is worth it, IMO, but there are cheaper models than a Roomba. We had an Ecovacs Deebot for several years and now we have a Lefant model. We bought both heavily discounted on Amazon Prime day.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Dreame, Narwahl, Ecovacs Deebot All other brands are cheap Chinese copies. Using an ecovacs deebot for over 4 years now. Absolutely glad i did make the decision.
r/mangalore • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Mangalore? ->I equate robot vacs to hand sanitizer. They do the job, but at the end of the day, soap and water make your hands feel the cleanest. I have both an ecovac deebot and a roomba 405. Honestly, the cheaper deebot worked more consistently than the Roomba. Their app is dodgy as heck. If you have pets with fur, I've found the old school janitor brooms to be the most efficient and effective on floors. Too much fur tends to clog up Roomba vacs. Go cheap to dip your toes in the robot waters.
r/VacuumCleaners • Thoughts on robot vacuums? Is this a good deal? ->Do NOT go for ecovacs deebot... What a shitshow... Worst 800€ I ever spent...
r/homeassistant • Best automatic robot vacuum? ->$500 is a critical threshold. I have had different Deebots for years and they are very helpful, but the real game changers are the Omni-stations. You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. The real magic of these robots is, if you have to interact with them, as little as possible. Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally.
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->I have a eufy S1. I chose it because I wanted something that was near-flagship, but <$1000. I also really wanted a roller mop as opposed to spinning mop pads. I hated the idea of smearing dirty pads around the floor. I've had it for about a month and am in love after replacing a very, very old Ecovacs Deebot which had no mapping nor navigation. The improvement is night and day.
r/homeautomation • Whats the best robot vacuum for an average home? ->Using ecovacs deebot and thoroughly satisfied
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->My Roborock has been great for me and it was about $700CAD so well within your budget. Vacuums, mops, all those things. The one I had before was a Deebot Ecovacs. It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. Cleaned well (not better than the Roborock though) but the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I had a deebot for a couple of years and it was good. So, when it died, I got another one. That one didn't work right and oh my GOSH their customer service was horrible. I ended up returning it and got a Shark. I have no experience with Roborock but will avoid Ecovacs moving forward just because of their horrible customer service.
r/RobotVacuums • Can't decide which one ->Another deebot owner here. 2 dogs, one German shepherd, one shorter coat. Love the damn thing. Took a bit of getting used to but saves the house from hair and horse food/hay/grass that blows in the back door.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I really like mine!
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I personally treat mine like a puppy and redirect when necessary.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I have a border collie/husky mix, and hardwood floors. My deebot gets 75% of the hair, and mops up all kinds of stuff as it goes. (Also parakeet fluff.. black hair, white hair, and blue budgie fluff..) I still need to do a real vacuum/mop once a week, but for keeping the filth down the rest of the week, totally worth it.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Bought ecovacs Deebot. The sensors stopped working after 2 years. Got it replaced and the cost was 8K. A year later, the sensors again stopped working and the replacement cost was again 8K. A friend of mine who bought the Deebot 1 year after me had the same issues with the sensors. Their service is expensive. Even to just visit and check the issue they charge 1K. So don’t buy Ecovacs.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences ->Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. Basically they sell low quality Chinese products with heavy features that are only work on paper. The Deebot doesn’t work as advertised. The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics. According to them their devices are flawless. After proving all of this unethical behaviour to Amazon, with evidence, I got my money back. I replaced with a karcher robovac whose mrp was lower but performance is 2x and zero headaches.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->My deebot has been decent 🤷♂️
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->I love our Deebot Omni . Highly recommend and definitely get my money’s worth. Don’t buy a cheap one, that will not help you get your money’s worth.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->We have this one too and it is so good. Vital for us now with two cats who like to shed. Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->Plenty of YouTube channels that do objective testing and reviews. I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last. Ours mops as well, a handy feature if you have hard surfaces too.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
