I totally feel you on not wanting to sweep and mop, that's why I got ecovacs x11. My place has a bunch of rooms, so I need one that knows exactly which room it's in. Once I set it up in the app, it just cleans on its own. It also can empty itself, good for someone like me lazy about cleaning.

I've using x11 for a couple of weeks. It moves smoothly over the thresholds in my place and runs fast. Picks up random bits of trash no problem, even some cat litter here and there.

I also would like to know the consensus here. I just got the ecovacs x11 Deebot Omnicycle. Supposedly great but I’ve noticed it doesn’t vacuum everything off the tile which is also what I care about most It’s good but not sure if there are others that are better, other than that no complaints on it

We ended up choosing X11 and are happy so far. It's already a V3 roller mop and it has nicely thought out details that others don't have, such as the mini rollers on the side of the mop. It did take some time and research effort to decide on it though, after cancelling orders of z60, flow and aqua 10.

I couldn't get x11 do small rugs/ mats without tangling in them. only the doormat with reasonable well seal to the floor doesn't cause problems. great machine apart from that. it replenishes battery during mop wash breaks, works well

I had a ton of issues before ultimately returning my X11 before the return period expired: 1. It would intermittently decide to no longer mop 2. It would randomly refuse to cross the “threshold” from my LVP to carpet in my first floor guest suite despite having zero issues with it during the mapping phase 3. The hanging rubber seal for the brush rollers was getting caught in the bevel of my LVP and causing the X11 to thump anytime it traveled against the long sides of the LVP 4. It was just too tall. It does not fit under my kitchen cabinets by the smallest amount so it was constantly forcing itself under there and scraping the housing to ultimately not clean much of anything. 5. With the above height issue, the lack of extending side brush is a huge issue for proper cleaning in tight spaces. If the side sweeping brush extended, the height would be less of an issue. 6. Software and (more importantly) support left a lot to be desired. I was ***really*** tempted to try again, because it keeps getting high scores everywhere I look. But my experience with it was frustrating. It did a great job vacuuming, and when the mop worked I was impressed with how clean my floors were. But poor support during the mopping issue, lack of extending side brush coupled with it’s height, and the protective brush roller seal that was causing problems on the LVP were just too much to hope and pray would be fixed via software updates and hardware warranty replacements.

Mine arrived and wouldn’t even dock. It kept ramming the dock 6 inches to the left of center and then would give up and spin in circles in the adjacent room. A blessing really. Several reviews now have shown and commented on the truly terrible dust bin emptying due to the small openings and sharp turn the empty process needs to take. This was all after having several major issues with the Ecovacs X11 which I also returned. I purchased the CurvX on Monday and have been using it for two days. I love it 100x more than either of the other two models (Mova Z60, Ecovacs X11). It has worked 100% of the time so far which I can’t say for the other two. And it feels (and looks) much more premium (and was several hundred dollars less).

I’ve been using the new ecovacs x11 for about two weeks now. The suction is stronger, so it handles daily cleaning easily, and the dustbin is big too. The roller mop is popular this year, so I figured I’d try it out, it presses down while cleaning and cleans the mop with fresh water. Fit for my big place, just a big step up from my old one.

I got the x11’s the bagless one, so no need to buy extra dust bags, just empty the bin regularly I’ve been using it for a bit. My place has hardwood floors and a bit of tile, and the roller mop material works great, it hasn’t left any water marks at all. The station uses hot water to wash it, then make sure it dry completely before putting it back, keeps it from smelling weird.

Ecovacs just launched the X11 that has matter support. In the Home app it lets me swap between vacuum and mop, choose rooms to clean, and HomeKit automations. I was sort of expecting just basic on/off functionality so pleasantly surprised. Only been using for two weeks but so far so good.

The CurvX is almost $1500 from the Roborock website where I live. They're probably not pushing it for the Swedish market... Funny though, I also returned an EcoVacs X11 just a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, anything would be an upgrade from my S5, but I feel like the price to performance is so random at times. I can get a Qrevo Edge 5V1 for $740 and a Saros 10R for $1540 right now. The Dreames are all over the place too.. I guess I'll see what black friday brings :)

Many higher-end robots can handle one inch thresholds. For around 1600 sq ft, I'd check out the ecovacs x11. It charges fast and so it's supposed to clean your whole place in one go without needing to stop and recharge.

I extended a wall to add the space however customer service has informed me that the extended space will be read as a no clean area. I can add a "customized zone" in that area and it will clean there. While the extended area has now been saved to the map, the zone will have to be added each time. The other alternative they say is to remap.  I may try your suggestion about placing it there and seeing if I can direct it to clean and see what happens.  Other than this issue I am very happy w/ the actual cleaning.

I use ecovacs x11 and honestly, it's been great for my place. I live in a pretty big home with a bunch of rooms, and my robot can make separate maps for each one, and switching between them. The best part for me is I rarely see it low on battery in the app, if your budget allows, it's worth considering.

We got a Eufy vacuum only a few years ago and after having to sweep everyday due to having 2 dogs and a cat, it was this amazing luxury I couldn't even imagine. It ran really well for a long time. Then it did need to be replaced. We got the same model but this one had some issues rather soon. The remote stopped working which was a little important since i had a non mapping model. I still ran it but it would push dining room chairs around, get stuck on the base of our fan and cat scratcher. During Prime we splurged on a Ecovac Deebot that mops. Wow it is such an upgrade from what we 1st started with. We are really happy with its performance, my floors have never been so nicely maintained. Totally worth it.

I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.

Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.

I owned a DeeBot and I sent it back after a week. The mapping function was terrible. It was amazing at cleaning but I don’t want to fight with a vacuum. Customer service suggested I join their support group on Facebook for assistance. I can’t even make this mess up. I’m not joining a group to use a vacuum. Instead, I bought a cheap mop/ vacuum combo from Inova and it was amazing. I still use it 2.5 years later. I’m in the market for an upgrade now that budget is larger.

I like having a robot vacuum but the ecovacs app/software is super glitchy. It will just go random places when assigned other areas. It randomly merges or forgets rooms. anyone looking into one should head to the ecovacs and vacuum subs and read up. I’m definitely going with another brand next time.

I have an ecovacs deebot that does both vaccuuming and mopping. I used to have a Eufy, but this one is way nicer. They're expensive, but really amazing, and I was able to buy mine from their website on a payment plan. The one I have has a big tank for clean water and one for the dirty water. As it's working, it goes back to its station often, which automatically washes the mop pads and cleans dirt out of the vaccuum with suction. When it's done, the station has a hot air dryer that keeps the mop pads dry. I have a few sets of pads, and I wash them in the washing machine regularly. I agree with the other commenter to make sure you get one with smart mapping, mine does and it works great!

Mine has never tried to empty the dust bin mid clean, only after completion. It wanders around for 5 minutes or so but eventually gives up and says that it can’t find the station. I put it back on the floor that the station lives on, pick that map as the active one, and hit return to station and it returns no problem from there.

I equate robot vacs to hand sanitizer. They do the job, but at the end of the day, soap and water make your hands feel the cleanest. I have both an ecovac deebot and a roomba 405. Honestly, the cheaper deebot worked more consistently than the Roomba. Their app is dodgy as heck. If you have pets with fur, I've found the old school janitor brooms to be the most efficient and effective on floors. Too much fur tends to clog up Roomba vacs. Go cheap to dip your toes in the robot waters.

$500 is a critical threshold. I have had different Deebots for years and they are very helpful, but the real game changers are the Omni-stations. You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. The real magic of these robots is, if you have to interact with them, as little as possible. Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally.

I have a eufy S1. I chose it because I wanted something that was near-flagship, but <$1000. I also really wanted a roller mop as opposed to spinning mop pads. I hated the idea of smearing dirty pads around the floor. I've had it for about a month and am in love after replacing a very, very old Ecovacs Deebot which had no mapping nor navigation. My Roborock has been great for me and it was about $700CAD so well within your budget. Vacuums, mops, all those things. The one I had before was a Deebot Ecovacs. It was $1000 CAD and a software nightmare. Cleaned well (not better than the Roborock though) but the software made me want to throw my phone everytime I used it because I had to remap almost every time I changed floors even though it can apparently save 3 maps.

Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. Basically they sell low quality Chinese products with heavy features that are only work on paper. The Deebot doesn’t work as advertised. The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics. According to them their devices are flawless. After proving all of this unethical behaviour to Amazon, with evidence, I got my money back. Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.

Plenty of YouTube channels that do objective testing and reviews. I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last. Ours mops as well, a handy feature if you have hard surfaces too.

We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.

I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
