Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller, Ecovacs Deebot T90, Ecovacs Deebot X12, eufy Omni S2, and Narwal Flow 2. Sure: yes, the mop feature actually cleans well. The models that have the best navigation and obstacle avoidance and which I would get If I were buying today are the ones I listed.

Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller, Ecovacs Deebot T90, Ecovacs Deebot X12, eufy Omni S2, and Narwal Flow 2. Yes, spinning mop robots are better than the flat vibrating pad ones for tiles. Yes, some automatically lift the mop on carpets. Yes, most robots map two floors easily. Yes, the auto-cleaning dock ones are worth it.

r/RobotVacuumsBest robot vacuum in 2026 that maps my house and empties itself?

I upgraded Eufy S1Pro to Ecovac Omni Cyclone. The Eufy had some attractive features, but broke, went crazy after 8 months. Maintaining the S1 Pro was easier, but the eco is quieter, has a great intuitive app and vocal commands. I’ve had it about 6 months, no issues. Home is tile floors w a few area rugs.

r/ecovacsHow good is the new X11 Series really, what's your take?

I've tested the Omnicyclone variant since about a month and half. There are 4 highlight features which i really liked - 1. Powerboost charge - Basically fast charging at 180W while washing the roller if extremely large house, you can put it on extreme setting which will ensure that it does not run out of charge. I tested it on standard default settings, with every wash cycle, its battery went up by 4-5%. I started robot at 52% and after finishing the house cleaning it had 82% left. So, was really impressed by that. 2. Bagless Auto empty - I kid you not, but the cotton filter on it is still as good as new. It does not even have 1 particle of dust on it to trap. Which means their big cyclone and other 14 small cyclones are so powerful that they are filtering almost everything. The maintenance is also very easy. No additional cost for bags. 3. Side brush and main brush lift - It does that when in AI mode and if it detects a heavy stain. The side brush and main brush lifts up to tackle the heavy stain till it is cleaned up. Detection of stain can be wonky depending on the colour, floor and lighting in the room. 4. 24mm threshold climb - This is not really that impressive because of other brands having better feature than this. 4mm does not relaly make a lot of difference. I just liked how they have installed its mechanism along with wheel. Its pretty cool.

Yeah, i guess. It has never been a standout point for ecovacs. I think only the omnicyclone has a competetive edge over other robots in market. Sometimes i feel that they have maybe over engineered it. Cause i really tried extremely hard to get the dilters dirty. But it just does not!!!

Cleaning solution helps wash the roller properly. If you explore a bit more, you can label the areas as "heavily soiled" that tells the robot to use the heavy solution. I've not really tested it by running without solution. But as per my experience, it keeps the roller quite clean. You can try without the solution and let me know how it hold up

Yes, hot water has quite high temperature. So it is able to wash the roller. Floor mopping without detergent is good as it remops soiled areas multiple times

r/RobotVacuumsAre robot vacuum's worth it?

We got a Eufy vacuum only a few years ago and after having to sweep everyday due to having 2 dogs and a cat, it was this amazing luxury I couldn't even imagine. It ran really well for a long time. Then it did need to be replaced. We got the same model but this one had some issues rather soon. The remote stopped working which was a little important since i had a non mapping model. I still ran it but it would push dining room chairs around, get stuck on the base of our fan and cat scratcher. During Prime we splurged on a Ecovac Deebot that mops. Wow it is such an upgrade from what we 1st started with. We are really happy with its performance, my floors have never been so nicely maintained. Totally worth it.

r/RobotVacuumsi cant decide between roller vs mop pad
about 1 month ago

The roller mop is probably better in terms of cleaning results. If you get one with a station, it can wash and dry itself. I usually just wait for the deebot to finish, let the roller mop clean and dry itself, and then do a quick check to make sure there’s nothing left on it.

Just ordered the Roborock Qrevo Curv X this morning with the Black Friday sale. We used to have a cheaper Ecovacs Deebot and hated it/sold it because it would get stuck all the time on our carpets and couldn't get over our bathroom threshold. We recently moved into a multi story unit with hardwood floors and excited to see how this new one goes.

I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.

r/CleaningTipsHow do you keep floors clean with the least work?

I think it's worth trying a robot vacuum. We bought an ecovacs deebot last year and it feels pretty hands free since I got it. We let the robot handle almost all the floor cleaning work for us. Using a handheld machine, even if its handy there's still a time cost problem with it.

r/parrotsDoes anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops?

Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.

I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.
