"I run it once a day, and mop a couple times a week. ... In fact, my wet/dry floor vacuum just died so its pulling even more work right now as it's the only real mop I now have, other than a Swiffer."
"My GOD am I glad I did. I had no idea how much I had been missing! ... We have 2 dogs and a cat, and live more rural. That means dirty paws folks, and a lot of them. The mopping and vacuuming has been no short of amazeballs. Not amazing. Amazeballs."
"The current champ of perfectly sparkling clean floors. ... Have 5 dogs tracking in dirt all day? Run this mop and go eat off the floor. That's how clean it is. ... Step aside spinny & vibration mops, this constantly clean roller mop is the champ. ... The mopping ability is light-years ahead of the Curv. ... The continously cleaning of fresh water is where is truly unique. ... You will be delighted and shocked on how amazing this E28 is. Its truly incomparable to any roborock. Get ready to start eating off your floors 😁😉"

"significantly worse object avoidance than than the Dreame x40 and L40 ... The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."
"I can basically always trust my X40 to finish a midnight cleaning session in the dark and wake up to find it sitting in its dock and have clean floors in the morning."
"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."

"I absolutely do not regret buying the robot vacuum. ... My room is a lot cleaner and dust-free now, and I can tell just by wiping my floor with a wet toilet paper and seeing barely anything picked up. ... I've been getting allergens a ton less, most of which not even in my room. ... All this for the commitment of a weekly emptying is miles more convenient than vacuuming traditionally, as opposed to making a few taps on my phone. ... looking back it was definitely worth the investment."
"My cat has very bad mite allergies, and this vacuum is a must have for us for keeping the floors clean of all dust, dander, and dirt."
"The second floor of my house is all carpeted, and I used to clean with a Dyson V8, but since I got the E28, I haven't vacuumed myself."

"cleans the mop heads during cleaning ... It also cleans the mop heads during cleaning. So you can set it to mop for a certain amount of time, and then it will return to the base and clean its own mop heads with hot water, then set out again."
"I hardly have issues with the dustbin getting stuck. ... In fact, I haven’t really needed to clean the dustbin inside the robot much; I mostly just change the dust bag at the dock."
"the real game changers are the Omni-stations. ... You definitely want to buy one with a station, that can empty the dust bin, clean and dry the mopping pads. ... Having to only empty and refill the robot once a week, instead of daily was the hugest step in comfort for me personally."

"iRobot was a no-brainer in this part. ... No prep is needed. Just hit the button and it vacuums everything and avoids every small item like a phone cable or a sock."
"We have a deebot, one that mobs and vacuums. ... Don't even hesitate. This thing cleans. We come home and its clean."

"Support had me go through all the usual troubleshooting steps — no fix. ... I was told a replacement had been “processed” and would ship. ... It’s now been nearly two weeks and my order is still showing as “processing”. ... I’ve exchanged 24+ emails with Support. The replies are all scripted apologies and vague “please wait” responses. ... Their site promises 3–5 days for new orders, yet for a replacement I’ve paid almost $500 for, I’ve received nothing. ... I’ve asked for a refund policy and escalation, but I keep getting ignored."
"I have never faced such a horrible service from any products in my life. ... Their service is ridiculous. ... The technician would come home and then inspect the device and raise a ticket for the spare part. So the spare part will be couriered to the customer directly after 2 or 3 weeks. Once this reaches your home, the technician will come again and replace that part. This is ridiculous. ... They don't provide service, they don't provide warranty. ... n one of my friends case, they had denied warranty saying there is fungus on board and its caused by water damage."
"Ecovacs has the worst after sales of any company in any place of the world I have ever experienced. ... The company won’t take responsibility and goi around in circles. ... They wasted more than 6 months after talk to multiple people and site visits and it was escalated till the head of the after sales who I will name clearly: Tanmay Gangani, who is an absolute unprofessional and blatant liar with no sense of responsibility and ethics."

"it's also the only robovac I've ever had that ran over dog poop..."
"It gives up quickly and does not map well. ... For example, first time out, it was unable to leave the kitchen. ... So it mapped the kitchen and a space outside the kitchen that it could see was called a room. But it was only able to see 30% of the actual room. ... It did not update the map as the dreame would each run. ... Sent out for a remap. Got the center room and failed to get the hallway that did not have a threshold to cross, got 20% of another room it could't get in and didn't place a wall where there was a wall."
"my Qrevo Edge was not able to avoid some cables or other things like small pet toys my puppy would bring out at times. ... Once it even ran over a little log (of shit) my puppy left out for it which caused me to have to open it up and clean it out."

"the mapping is problematic. ... I tested it at my home and had the same mapping issue. ... While it cleaned great, the mapping is not. ... The S1 was solid for about 30 cleans, then it just went nuts. ... Eufy said the space needed more obstacles. I tired cones places throughout. That didn help. ... It is being returned and I m trying a mova next."
"The map would constantly get messed up and I would have to make it remap my house every week."
"It was awful at remapping and I would have to babysit it for hours while it did it."

"their battery isn't lasting any longer than 1h at most"
"The usb doesn’t work anymore. ... It just makes a nonstop sound screeching sounds whenever a sound it played through them. ... That happened within the first month of having them."
"battery died just months after warranty expired."

"we need to clean the corners and area where it cannot go."
"Doesn’t clean the corners efficiently."
"Roomba can’t reach."
Simple answer - no it won't. I'll give you a bit of context and then you decide but from what you've written this won't do your job. So my Y1 does a good job but it got stuck with a dry leaf that has blown in from an open window, it got stuck with a small twine my kiddo pulled from a doll and the dust bag fills up quickly. It works for our home because the mess was already under control. But in your case I think a regular vacuum would be required for the major debris and for regular use, with the dog, I would suggest something which auto empties the bin like the y1 pro plus so you don't spend your time constantly emptying the bin. One more note that nobody, strangely, talks about - these machines are mostly about the software. The first time you use it the house gets mapped. Subsequently you don't have the option to re-map a particular area. You have to re-map the entire house. Also if you want to do the cleaning of a particular area more than once then there is no automatic setting - you have to start the cleaning manually. You can schedule when the cleaning starts but it would clean the full house and you cannot set it to clean a particular area on a schedule. Also there is no way to customize the cleaning depending on what room is being cleaned so you cannot, say, set it to clean the kitchen with a stronger vacuum setting than the rest of the house. These are all things that can be very easily fixed in an update of the software but as of now there are the limitations you'd have to live with.

r/ecovacs • Ecovacs y1 pro reviews? ->Just ordered the Roborock Qrevo Curv X this morning with the Black Friday sale. We used to have a cheaper Ecovacs Deebot and hated it/sold it because it would get stuck all the time on our carpets and couldn't get over our bathroom threshold. We recently moved into a multi story unit with hardwood floors and excited to see how this new one goes.
r/RobotVacuums • What robot vacuum are you getting? ->I have a ecovacs deebot. I've had it a year and a half and have had to replace the brushes on it twice. It's ok to stretch out the vacuuming I have to do with my dyson, but I still need to vacuum about once a week. Twice a week during high shed seasons. It has a mop attachment, but I don't use it as my kitchen and bathrooms are small and the rest of my house is carpet.
r/bernesemountaindogs • Robot vacuum recommend for BMD ->Can your parrots roam freely around the house? My two can only stay in the bird room, so there're always feathers and bits of seeds on the floor. When I run my ecovacs deebot, I just let it clean the bird room too. After that, I don't really need to clean it again myself.
r/parrots • Does anyone here use any robot vacuums/mops? ->Hey, I just wanted to share with everyone, my experience about Ecovacs robotic vacuum cleaner. I have never faced such a horrible service from any products in my life. I have been using several electronic devices and appliances, but nothing horrible like this. My experience with this brand has been ridiculous. Firstly let me tell you, all the reviews that you see about this product on Amazon are fake. If u read closely, all the reviews are about product installation and demo. They ask their technicians to persuade customer to leave a review at the time of demo, Even before they actually start using the product. So my machine was a Deebot Y1 Pro, i purchased 9 months back. After 3 months of use, the machine started working erratically. Cleaning was not proper. Initially they changed the driving wheels, then the brush motor, the the main board. Even after this the machine is not pulling in dust. All this took around 6 months. Yes you heard it right. Their service is ridiculous. The technician would come home and then inspect the device and raise a ticket for the spare part. So the spare part will be couriered to the customer directly after 2 or 3 weeks. Once this reaches your home, the technician will come again and replace that part. This is ridiculous. The technician is never provided spares by the technician despite being a huge brand. After 7 such visits, the machine wasn't still working. Water tank was leaking, cleaning was not happening etc etc. I begged them to provide a replacement which they said is not in their policy. They don't provide service, they don't provide warranty. n one of my friends case, they had denied warranty saying there is fungus on board and its caused by water damage. There are some women sitting in their service, and they are not technical at all. They always play around with you. These are all generic chinese devices rebranded and sold here in India. Its not an indian product at all. I think the story of most other brands also is the same. Even for dreame also i have read similar reviews on amazon. Xiaomi might be better i hope. I bought two Xiaomi S10 recently, lets see how it goes. https://preview.redd.it/4u4gjso6xz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=486d396bdbf8d9bd829fc1c17f0a90af9f2cf9ff https://preview.redd.it/66qosig9xz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=1fa62d8e141b7248f3810994bd9ce201dea71904 https://preview.redd.it/r2g4dy7axz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=48c5a13a72010dc0ae38035e76fa93c6bcf57f66 https://preview.redd.it/ys0ia4saxz9f1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=a6538fcfa7dd87b93b6eb3fd28b82c27bc7a16bf
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs Robotic Vacuum cleaner - Its a scam brand! ->I’ll never ever gonna buy Ecovacs again. Cheap parts, horrible app, just overall a very frustrating experience.
r/homeassistant • What's the best recommended Robot Vacuum on the market that you really swear by? ->It can’t scrub the floor. Doesn’t clean the corners efficiently. You have to do a pre-sweep to remove debris. It gets stuck on small pieces of kibble etc.
r/ecovacs • Ecovacs y1 pro reviews? ->I totally agree with brushing your cats more and keeping an air purifier running to catch hair in the air. I also run my deebot every day to clean up the hair on the floor, it really helps keep the amount of hair under control.
r/CatAdvice • Cat hair ->Have a Deebot. Insane quality. But they could really up their game in terms of software - for old and new models.
r/gadgets • iRobot’s future isn’t looking up ->I haven’t seen many good reviews of irobot here, and it doesn’t seem that many people use it. I use an ecovacs deebot myself, and if you’re not in a rush, the X8 pro omni might be worth a look. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been really reliable so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
