I have an Ecovacs and I’m really happy with it. I once had an issue with the water tank, and all I needed to do was send a quick video on WhatsApp showing the problem. They immediately shipped a replacement part to my address, and a technician came home to install it. Reaching their after sales team was such a smooth and hassle free experience.
Mine's an N10, I don't think that model is available anymore.
Oh absolutely! A robovac cannot match the performance of a full-fledged vacuum cleaner. A robovac is perfect for everyday cleaning, but every now and then, I will still take out my Eureka Forbes Mop N Vac for a thorough clean. (Plus, you can't put detergent inside the robovac, it mops with just plain water).
Honestly, unless you’ve got thick, high-pile carpets, 5500 pa is sufficient. I have flat weave rugs and my N10 which is 4300 pa works perfectly fine. I'll go over the rugs once a month or so with a wet vacuum cleaner (the Eureka Forbes mop n vac).
3 cats- ecovacs deebot n10 max. The thing is to deep clean everything at least once before you start with it. It’s low grade maintenance, not cleaning. Otherwise it’s like using a lint roller on your cat’s favourite pillow. Run it frequently and optimize your space for it. I had to tack up cords, re arrange furniture. Map out the rooms and re arrange the area maps to make more logical sections so it got specific areas better. Use virtual boundaries and clear *everything* all chairs basically anything but large furniture and tables. Put garbage cans cat beds fucking everything somewhere else while it’s mappping the rooms so it’s got the ideal map to work around. I had chairs on the staircases and everything. It was a mess but now my vacuum has a super accurate map. The dining room that’s full of chairs where it can get lost is now 3 sections so it can take its time around the randomly placed chairs. The area in front of the litter box is a no fly zone because it’s got a mat that catches litter. It’s annoying but the first couple runs you basically gotta follow it around as it cleans. Sometimes you can move a piece of furniture like a dresser 2 inches and suddenly it can navigate. There’s a random telephone cord that’s not an issue normally that it gets caught on. In my experience I babaysat the fuck out of it and now it’s just scheduled on it’s own and when I want to run the mop I just fill it and add it. Read the manual. It’s a long term time investment. With the effort I’ve put into the optimization it will be 3 months before I break even vs regular maintenance time spent but honestly it’s doing a better job than me now and if it doesn’t you can just say vacuum 6 times while I’m out cause I’ve got guests coming over. Lol. I’m still gonna have to get corners and whatever and clean furniture but I think it’s worth it
Bought ecovacs deebot n10 The suction power is really good
I got to disagree here. The cleaning that the vacuum does, no human can reach that level of cleaning.
We started using one back in 2020, that's five years ago, last year we replaced it with Ecovac N10.
I have one and it handles the fur from two dogs just fine. Life changing. I have x10+, which has the base station that collects the dust
Mine seems fine but it's a bit old now.
that's great - we have a dishwasher but hadn't thought about the advantage of 2 drawers. will file that for when I need a replacement!
ours is just an ecovac from aldi - bought it a few yrs ago though so there would be much better models now. I like the idea of the ones that self empty - next time I need a replacement!
