I don’t know that I would really call them new, as it is actually owned by Ecovacs! I was looking for a bagless auto-empty station. I know Shark was the first to offer bagless, but l’ve not heard the greatest things about their app and navigation. I did see the Eureka recently as well, but don’t know anything about its app, navigation, or reliability. I then found the Yeedi C12 Pro Plus, which appears to be the same as the Ecovacs N20 Pro Plus. I ordered the C12 while it was on sale on Amazon. It seemed like a nice robot, however its mapping was not even close to that of my old Ecovacs N8 Pro+! So, I returned it and ordered the N20 from Ecovacs hoping that the mapping in the Ecovacs app is better than that in the Yeedi app! As it turns out out I could see no difference between the C12 Pro Plus and the Ecovacs N20 Pro Plus apart from the red vs blue color of the dust bin, the logo on top of the LiDAR housing, and the name of the app that it uses. But literally everything else appears exactly the same. However I did find out why the difference in the quality of the maps produced by the N8 and the N20/C12 are so different. The N8 uses a dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) LiDAR system, whereas the N20/C12 use an LDS (laser distance sensor) LiDAR system. So, apparently not quite as high resolution, but other than the in app maps not quite looking as accurate and a slight downgrade in the quality of object detection there really seems to be not much of a practical difference between the two, so the other improvements of the machine (increased suction, bigger battery, better mopping, etc) still make it an upgrade in my opinion. Oh yeah, and no more bags! Hope that helps. Best of luck!

I agree with you with respect to customer service. Most of the RVC have terrible after sales service. I contacted Narwal customer support (used the number given in Amazon) the customer service executive had no knowledge about the product. Also there is no availability of the physical service centers as mentioned in Amazon. Basically the India map with service centers provided in the home page of Narwal in Amazon is misleading. Like other RVC vendors they provide door step pick-up and service at a nearby factory. However, when I contacted ECOVACS the customer service executive was able to answer my question and also send the necessary details via WhatsApp. In fact, they even contacted me a couple of days later to check with my decision about purchasing RVC. Even I'm planning to go with Ecovacs. With regards to mopping, RVC with triangular mop pads and rotating heads are best. As you mentioned we get RVCs with this facility only above 35-45k.

Ecovacs deebot n20 pro- using it for 1 year, had issue with charger, the support checked the issue online, sent a new charger without any hassle - great service. The suction power(8000 Pa) is almost twice of xiaomi, eureka forbes etc. Wet and dry cleaning both. App is glitchy sometimes but can live with it since rest is all great. Mom is happy with it, minimal maintenance. Price 25-28k in any sale. There is a completely automated self cleaning version for around 55k as well.

Mine cleans in one charge easily - 1826 sq. ft. - maybe depends on battery sie - charges automatically and resumes cleaning- sound depends on mode of cleaning- max mode is a bit noisy - otherwise bearable. Only me and my mom live in the house and we both work so it seems like a good solution as you don’t have to worry about maid timings and leaves etc. Again all depends on the use case but these things are pretty advanced now as compared to models 3-5 years ago.

Depends on the use case I guess, because with Dyson you have to do it manually and spend time, here it frees up your time and you can wrap up other tasks. Also, depends on the area to be cleaned. The robo vaccum cost is now a breakeven for me after 1 year tbh - approx 2000/month to the maid and 1 year use of the robo vaccum are pretty much the same in my case. So for my case it’s value for money.

I think, I will be planning for DEEBOT N20 PRO. I wish to have large collecting bins but its getting expensive. Also, the place where I live, I got to know about a ECOVACS shop and they said they will provide all the service if needed in future. For me, I have concern for after service for Dreame robot though they are excellent.

I was in same confusion. As much as I wanted to purchase Narwal Freo X Plus, I finally went with ECOVACS N20 Pro.  I really liked Narwal double brush, compact dust feature but end of the day I went with ECOVACS because at least it has a service center. I have not read many positive feedbacks about that either but All companies I looked around for such as Dreame, iLife, Agaro - they all had terrible service reviews. While Narwal may be a better product, service simply does not exist. We can purchase extra mop pad n brush etc but what if anything else gets damaged? So I took a chance with ECOVACS. I have used only for couple of days and I can say it vacuums/sweeps floor really good. Mop is nothing to be happpy about. It’s average. I think you should pick your vacuume based on sweeping purpose as priority. None under 30k will mop it satisfactory.

There’s another difference, the N20 doesn’t require changing dust bags. This likely means you don’t have pay for more dust bags. I own a deebot robovac, mainly for cleaning up after my cat, and it rarely gets tangled.

of these 3 the Dreame L10s Plus has spin mops which are better than the other two with their "drag rag" type mops. The N20 Pro's mop is gonna be a little better than the L60 since it vibrates back and fourth a little bit as it goes but the spin mops are the way to go IMO none of these have the self cleaning mop station of course but your gonna be spending a bit more for that function. If you can swing it the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is 899 USD and has the full service dock (washes and drys the mop pads, refills the water tank on the bot etc) and also has the corner extending mop arm to reach the corners better. worth the couple extra hundred IMO. I have a Eufy X10 pro which has the full service dock and I love it. I dont have to worry about manually filling the water tank or cleaning the pads (aside from swapping them out weekly to run through the washing machine) I snagged mine for 520 refurbished on ebay though.

I like my Ecovacs N20. It does basic vacuuming and mopping, well enough for me at least, and the dock also has self-cleaning, so I don’t have to worry much about clean it. The main reason I went for it is that it doesn’t need a dust bag, so I don’t have to spend extra on buying dust bags.

I had N20 pro plus. If you're thinking about the mopping, it's great for daily cleaning. The mop can cover a big area, so it works pretty well. I also like using auto cleaning after mopping. That way, it doesn't become smelly. Just give it a try.

Have been using Ecovacs Deebot N20 for a few months now - bought from amazon during dusshera sale. Pretty good vaccuming (it picks the dog hairs properly without much tangling), mopping is almost 80 percent good. Much better than what the maid was doing. Sweeping the floor with broom was causing a lot of dust to fly and accumulate on the walls and furniture. Now that has reduced. Weekly once we do the mopping manually with dettol water as adding any disinfectants to the machine is prohibited. If you are staying in two storeyed house - it is a bit irritating, we need to move the docking station and machine everytime we shift between the floors (mapping the initial floor map is however just done once). However, pls note that despite it being a robotic vaccum, you will need to spend around 5 to 10 minutes daily clearing the dustbin in the robot, cleaning brushes, mop pads and other components and filling water. People who are not tech savvy like old parents might not find it that easy to operate and might struggle to trouble shoot basic issues.

yes, agree... But that was over our budget. This model was like 25k after discounts. The auto clearing model was almost double if i am not wrong.

I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
