"Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. ... I barely see it."
"I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. ... Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last."
"Having a self emptying vacuum is essential, otherwise it's not worth the hassle."

"Well we clean common areas daily which get most dirty. ... Today it ran for 67 min and cleaned up the 1200sqft area, the whole floor, without any hitch."
"The robo itself is like magic, no more nakhare of housemaid, floor looks like new everyday."

"my Ecovacs with lidar cruised through our open floorplan house and made the map in under 10 minutes ... the Ecovacs doesn't continuously override the map and add or delete rooms, move the base station to think it's *inside* the wall, or do any of the other idiocy that Roomba keeps doing"
"Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught."

"Ecovacs Omni self emptying combo vacuum / mop is great on our hard surface floors but mediocre on rugs and carpet."

I got an Ecovacs N30 Omni through Facebook marketplace for $220 brand new. I know it is inferior to Roborock, but not bad for the price.
r/RobotVacuums • Which robot vacuum did you pick up this year? Which did you avoid? ->We got https://www.flipkart.com/ecovacs-n30-robotic-floor-cleaner-2-1-mopping-vacuum-wifi-connectivity-google-assistant-alexa/p/itmd46e30d01a710?pid=VCLHETDEYCNT3JGQ&lid=LSTVCLHETDEYCNT3JGQXIFFIM&marketplace=FLIPKART&cmpid=content_vacuum-cleaner_8965229628_gmc Amazing it is 😭
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->Yes I bought it in a flipkart sale, so the initial plan was to buy a N20. It got sold out quickly. Mom was sad. And suddenly they launched N30 the same day. So we bought it without giving it a second thought. ICICI card got us 4k off. Same offer is available now ig.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->Just got the ecovacs deebot N30 Omni. So far it is proving to do everything I need! I watched lots of video reviews before purchasing and this one seemed to be enough features without being overly loaded with crap I didn’t need at a higher price point. I paid $500 on Amazon
r/RobotVacuums • Need cleaner floors for crawling baby! ->To be fair I’m a homelaber to most smart things in my home run in a somewhat similar slightly glitchy fashion. My concerns with software is mostly to do with updates and features. I like being able to modify zones as needed and set flooring directions. And anything that can effectively map furniture and navigate around it. Have LOTS of bar stools on the island and breakfast bar. I actually ended up trying out the ecovacs and it was struggling so it will be going back… also the ecovacs app it’s pretty featureless.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Qrevo S vs Dreame X30 Ultra ->I am literally on my 3rd Ecovacs N30 Omni in 30 days. The first one the coil whine was so loud you could not think straight. They agreed to replace it and sent a second. It would not connect to their cloud. Of course, the customer service rep accused me of stealing from the company. I told him i didn't want to keep the first one and would gladly send it back on their dime. They declined. Wireshark showed it transmitting gooblety gook and failing to make the handshake with their servers. I had to send a video proving that i attempted to connect it. I even sent the wireshark capture, which I think is well above and beyond consumer level troubleshooting. So they sent me a 3rd one. Still coil whine, although noticeably less. For the dollar amount, there should NOT be a coil whine. Low-end solid state electronics at play. So if you want a nice constant whine in your quiet room, buy Ecovacs! They will even throw in an accusation of theft for free!
r/RobotVacuums • Please help me pick a vacuum/mop robot! Canadian ->I have Ecovacs N8 plus (aging, about to retire), N30 and X8 in two floors. Pretty happy with product and support network in Kochi. Their customer care is quick, whatsapp responses immediately and resolution are within a day itself. And they are served by Frootle, which got a shop+service center in Kakkanad. Overall, highly recommended
r/Kochi • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Kochi/Kerala? ->N30 is better in that sense.
r/Kochi • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Kochi/Kerala? ->We got the Ecovacs N30 and it’s been working fine. I agree with others, if you want to use it on multiple floors but don’t want to carry it around all the time, it’s best to get two units. Or you can just move the station to the floor you want it to clean, so you only have to move it once and still get all the features.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->Deebot n30 the best purchase in my life!
r/RobotVacuums • The best robot vacuum for a couple with 3 long-haired cats? ->Anything does. You have to clean up the device time to time.
r/RobotVacuums • The best robot vacuum for a couple with 3 long-haired cats? ->Maybe check out ecovacs N30. It has basic functions to vacuum and mop, and the dock also has basic self-cleaning. And the brushes don’t get tangled that easily when I use it.
r/RobotVacuums • Budget friendly, pet hair vacuum? ->I bought a mid range Ecovacs machine - the Deebot N30. I thought I had all the bases covered. For a while it worked perfectly but after a month the wheels lost all traction, so much so that it couldn't climb my carpets anymore and couldnt even get up it's ramp to charge. The wheels looked fine still, but the outer surface was "polished" smooth and hard. I was lucky enough to get a refund but now I'm hesitant to buy another floorbot. Is the wheel traction problem a common one? Is there a brand that performs better in this than others?
r/RobotVacuums • I write about robot vacuums for a living. AMA. ->I have one and it keeps getting hair wrap with my husky around.
r/RobotVacuums • The best robot vacuum for a couple with 3 long-haired cats? ->I love ours. I do NOT recommend the Roomba however, as their mapping software is awful and I have to spend a lot of time babysitting and reprogramming it. Having a self emptying vacuum is essential, otherwise it's not worth the hassle. I love the self washing mop option. Ecovacs Omni self emptying combo vacuum / mop is great on our hard surface floors but mediocre on rugs and carpet. I believe Roborocks may hit the sweet spot of vacuuming carpets well with the double roller design that works so well for Roomba, while having decent map handling. All that being said, an alternative that made a big difference for us is a good stick vacuum from Dyson or Shark. Take the time to hang the charger in as place where you can quickly grab the vacuum as needed. I bought a second "stick" so we call swap between the carpet head and hard surface floor head quickly and easily. Do your research now and then wait for Black Friday sales. You can check online but are likely to get better prices actually going into a store to get the item if possible. Costco and Target have had great sales on these in the past.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Yeah, my Ecovacs with lidar cruised through our open floorplan house and made the map in under 10 minutes, as compared to days of clearing the floor and running the Roomba for hours. And the Ecovacs doesn't continuously override the map and add or delete rooms, move the base station to think it's *inside* the wall, or do any of the other idiocy that Roomba keeps doing.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I love our Deebot Omni . Highly recommend and definitely get my money’s worth. Don’t buy a cheap one, that will not help you get your money’s worth.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->We have this one too and it is so good. Vital for us now with two cats who like to shed. Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->Plenty of YouTube channels that do objective testing and reviews. I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last. Ours mops as well, a handy feature if you have hard surfaces too.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
