"Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. ... I barely see it."
"I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. ... Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last."
"Having a self emptying vacuum is essential, otherwise it's not worth the hassle."

"Well we clean common areas daily which get most dirty. ... Today it ran for 67 min and cleaned up the 1200sqft area, the whole floor, without any hitch."
"The robo itself is like magic, no more nakhare of housemaid, floor looks like new everyday."
"both do about the same level of cleaning."

"The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price."
"for $220 brand new ... not bad for the price"
"Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it."

"my Ecovacs with lidar cruised through our open floorplan house and made the map in under 10 minutes ... the Ecovacs doesn't continuously override the map and add or delete rooms, move the base station to think it's *inside* the wall, or do any of the other idiocy that Roomba keeps doing"
"Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught."

"Vital for us now with two cats who like to shed."
"the brushes don’t get tangled that easily when I use it."

"It would not connect to their cloud. ... Wireshark showed it transmitting gooblety gook and failing to make the handshake with their servers. ... I had to send a video proving that i attempted to connect it. I even sent the wireshark capture, which I think is well above and beyond consumer level troubleshooting."

"The first one the coil whine was so loud you could not think straight. ... Still coil whine, although noticeably less. ... For the dollar amount, there should NOT be a coil whine. ... So if you want a nice constant whine in your quiet room, buy Ecovacs!"

"Ecovacs Omni self emptying combo vacuum / mop is great on our hard surface floors but mediocre on rugs and carpet."
I got an Ecovacs N30 Omni through Facebook marketplace for $220 brand new. I know it is inferior to Roborock, but not bad for the price.
I have gone with the Ecovacs N30 Omni, no complains yet
yes its pretty accurate
We got https://www.flipkart.com/ecovacs-n30-robotic-floor-cleaner-2-1-mopping-vacuum-wifi-connectivity-google-assistant-alexa/p/itmd46e30d01a710?pid=VCLHETDEYCNT3JGQ&lid=LSTVCLHETDEYCNT3JGQXIFFIM&marketplace=FLIPKART&cmpid=content_vacuum-cleaner_8965229628_gmc Amazing it is 😭
Yes I bought it in a flipkart sale, so the initial plan was to buy a N20. It got sold out quickly. Mom was sad. And suddenly they launched N30 the same day. So we bought it without giving it a second thought. ICICI card got us 4k off. Same offer is available now ig.
I am literally on my 3rd Ecovacs N30 Omni in 30 days. The first one the coil whine was so loud you could not think straight. They agreed to replace it and sent a second. It would not connect to their cloud. Of course, the customer service rep accused me of stealing from the company. I told him i didn't want to keep the first one and would gladly send it back on their dime. They declined. Wireshark showed it transmitting gooblety gook and failing to make the handshake with their servers. I had to send a video proving that i attempted to connect it. I even sent the wireshark capture, which I think is well above and beyond consumer level troubleshooting. So they sent me a 3rd one. Still coil whine, although noticeably less. For the dollar amount, there should NOT be a coil whine. Low-end solid state electronics at play. So if you want a nice constant whine in your quiet room, buy Ecovacs! They will even throw in an accusation of theft for free!
I have Ecovacs N8 plus (aging, about to retire), N30 and X8 in two floors. Pretty happy with product and support network in Kochi. Their customer care is quick, whatsapp responses immediately and resolution are within a day itself. And they are served by Frootle, which got a shop+service center in Kakkanad. Overall, highly recommended
We got the Ecovacs N30 and it’s been working fine. I agree with others, if you want to use it on multiple floors but don’t want to carry it around all the time, it’s best to get two units. Or you can just move the station to the floor you want it to clean, so you only have to move it once and still get all the features.
Maybe check out ecovacs N30. It has basic functions to vacuum and mop, and the dock also has basic self-cleaning. And the brushes don’t get tangled that easily when I use it.
The dust collection box for Pro will not be needed to be emptied for at least 3-5 months.. if that’s not a big task then go for lower version.. N30 white.
I just got the MOVA Z60 too and for the first time in 3 years my tiled floors are really clean. Such a big upgrade from my previous Ecovacs N30 and Ecovacs X1
$250 can get you a decent entry level robot. Look at the deebot n30. I've had an older model for years, battery still lasts.
