ECOVACS - N8 Pro

I have a deebot N8 Pro with the moping attachment by ecovacs. It’s 3-4 years old now and still vacuums well - the ‘mop’ is basically a wet pad it drags behind itself so not great there. Personally I think it was worth every penny. It goes under and around most furniture, rarely gets stuck, and is self-aware enough to go around things that are on the floor. It comes with an app so when it’s done you can see the path it took to clean your house, which I like. It’s a planned pattern, not random, and it will come back and redo areas if it senses the floors are still dirty. You can set it to clean the whole house, just a few rooms, or select a small area. If I were spending $800 and buying one right now I would buy [the Omni](https://www.ecovacs.com/ca/deebot-robotic-vacuum-cleaner/deebot-x2-omni-white). It vacuums, mops, and then cleans the mopheads in hot water.

I had an Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro with the moping attachment for quite a few years. It vacuumed really well, but didn’t mop well at all so I rarely used that option. But as a vacuum it rocked. It mapped my house so I could select rooms for it to clean, set a timer etc. For Christmas this year I asked for the Ecovacs Deebot T30. It’s pretty freaking amazing. You can set it to just vacuum, or just mop, or it will vacuum and mop at the same time, or vacuum and then mop. It empties the dust bin on its own. It also cleans the mop heads during cleaning. So you can set it to mop for a certain amount of time, and then it will return to the base and clean its own mop heads with hot water, then set out again. The mop heads spin, so they’re actually cleaning and not just getting the floor wet. I’m in Canada, so here it was about $800 CAD. You have to buy the cleaning fluid and extra mop heads separately though. It’s worth every penny.

I have N8 pro , still works to this day. But it always get stuck and lost map every other week.

I paid half the price of a similar roborock on the ecovacs (deebot n8) and that thing is f’ing brilliant.

I got a vacuum / mop combo, used the mop like 3 times — it sucks, it’s much better to mop in the old fashioned way. Vacuum function is great though.

Ecovacs Deebot N8

I went from ecovacs n8 to tapo rv30 max plus...omg., world's apart. The tapo has 2x suction and about the same loudness as the ecovacs..to me it's quieter. Self emptying.. house hasn't distorted after 12hours and 680m^2 . Cleans well. Object avoidance is good for permanent furniture. For objects left, it gives it a bump and goes around it not a hard bump..I'm.ok with that

I got a Deebot N8 for my bday last year and really like it. We keep it upstairs where we have carpet. It’s really nice to come home to freshly vacuumed bedrooms every day. Also, my young kids won’t pick up their rooms for my sake, but now we tell them to pick up their toys or the robot will eat them and that seems to be very effective messaging for them 😆
