I have N8 pro , still works to this day. But it always get stuck and lost map every other week.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->Whichever you get, run it every single day. I found mine runs terrible if I run it every other day (tangled brushes, clogged bin, stuck machine). It was so much better once I said fuck it, and ran it every single day. Unless you are willing to vacuum yourself sometimes, the robot vacuum does a better job getting set to autoclean every day. Mine was a Deebot Ecovac N8 Pro+, and I had 2 dogs: a husky and an Australian Shepherd mix. You will still get tangled brushes, clogged bins, and stick machines sometimes.
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->I have Ecovacs N8 plus (aging, about to retire), N30 and X8 in two floors. Pretty happy with product and support network in Kochi. Their customer care is quick, whatsapp responses immediately and resolution are within a day itself. And they are served by Frootle, which got a shop+service center in Kakkanad. Overall, highly recommended
r/Kochi • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Kochi/Kerala? ->Not much idea about N20 and Y1. Ecovacs is better on more upmarket models. MI or Eureka is better on starting models (VFM). That’s what I learned from N8 usage. Previously I had iRobot, N8 being a half a decade newer model had nothing much on value addition except for a base station with dustbag.
r/Kochi • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Kochi/Kerala? ->Ecovacs Deebot N8+ Had to replace battery once for around 8.5k that they said probably I was using in high suction mode all the time
r/Kochi • Anybody using robotic vaccum cleaner? Which brand is good and has good after sales service in Kochi/Kerala? ->Very happy with my Ecovacs N8+. Whatever you get make sure it has floor mapping and doesn't just bounce around dumbly.
r/homeassistant • Robot vacuum for home, what's the best under $500 ->I have a Deebot N8+. They have newer models. It maps, schedules and self empties. It’s fairly quiet. I don’t have carpet but it does well with our area rugs. I also have a much nosier Roomba but is older and doesn’t self empty. The Deebot also mops.
r/homeowners • Best Robot Vacuum?? ->We have a white tiles floor (previous owners choice) and our Ecovacs N8+ does a better job than us.
r/RobotVacuums • Wirecutter says don't get a robot vacuum-mop combo. Do you agree? ->\+1 to that, had to remap my house almost monthly on a Deebot N8+, was a pain. Switched to a Roborock Q Revo MaxQ and have had a much better experience with it
r/homeassistant • Best automatic robot vacuum? ->I will only buy robo Vacs that come with all state two years warranty. Every single one of these robots are owned by Chinese companies that will never honor their warranty if something goes wrong. All state paid me full price and some more for my ecovac n8+ that started getting main roller brush stuck error after the one year warranty ended. Buying from Costco is also a good alternative.
r/RobotVacuums • Tell me something you wish you knew about robot vacuums before you bought one? ->I don't know, my experience has been different. Before the L20, I had two budget robot vacuums. 1) Neato D5 and 2) ecovacs N8+. Both did not have this issue. Both did have the same type of roller with half rubber strips and half brush strips. Maybe that is what makes the difference and I'll find out soon as I have ordered the anti tangle brush roller.
r/Dreame_Tech • Impressive Dreame L40 Ultra perfomance on vacuum wars ->I paid half the price of a similar roborock on the ecovacs (deebot n8) and that thing is f’ing brilliant.
r/gadgets • iRobot’s future isn’t looking up ->I got a vacuum / mop combo, used the mop like 3 times — it sucks, it’s much better to mop in the old fashioned way. Vacuum function is great though.
r/RobotVacuums • Wirecutter says don't get a robot vacuum-mop combo. Do you agree? ->Ecovacs Deebot N8
r/RobotVacuums • Wirecutter says don't get a robot vacuum-mop combo. Do you agree? ->Hi all, like 90% of post here im trying to overcome the incredibly saturated world of robot vacuums. For every recommendation I read, there is another saying the opposite ? I've had an Ecovacs N8 (Monika) for about 4 years and she's my golden child. I decided to finally upgrade and because she was such a game changer I decided to splash out this time but ive hit a wall of information , good and bad on ever robot. My first choice was the Eufy E28 but prices in Ireland haven't dropped much even on Sale and its still just a few euro off what I would consider top tier models. Then I decided the X9, but everyone seems to say Ecovacs had dropped off a cliff in reliability and CS. Then the Mova Z50 jumped out but I had never heard of them before researching. Basically......Help.Me. I want a vacuum that can handle long dog hair and an great mop on entirely hard floors. That's it. Simple. Or not. I don't care about privacy issues, loud vacuuming or emptying just a great hoover and roller mop combo . SOS. Any help is greatly appreciated. Brands are rare in Ireland so looking to purchase from www.robocleaners.com Thanks you beautiful people X
r/RobotVacuums • Trying to overcome the mind-boggling world of Robot Vacuum ->I went from ecovacs n8 to tapo rv30 max plus...omg., world's apart. The tapo has 2x suction and about the same loudness as the ecovacs..to me it's quieter. Self emptying.. house hasn't distorted after 12hours and 680m^2 . Cleans well. Object avoidance is good for permanent furniture. For objects left, it gives it a bump and goes around it not a hard bump..I'm.ok with that
r/RobotVacuums • recommendations for self emptying + object avoidance and preferably quiet robot? ->I got a Deebot N8 for my bday last year and really like it. We keep it upstairs where we have carpet. It’s really nice to come home to freshly vacuumed bedrooms every day. Also, my young kids won’t pick up their rooms for my sake, but now we tell them to pick up their toys or the robot will eat them and that seems to be very effective messaging for them 😆
r/CleaningTips • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
