I had a great customer support in Denmark for my Ecovacs Deebot OZMO N8+. Use the drop in service and was returned within a week. It was with the 2 year guarantee period.
We dropped ours and bought an Eufy. It says it’s more powerful And better than our Ecovacs N8 but it definitely isn’t and we’ll be buying another - more up to date version - of the N8 soon.
Me too! Upgrading from an ecovacs n8 that is no good after 2 years of almost daily use. Fingers crossed!
I went from ecovacs n8 to tapo rv30 max plus...omg., world's apart. The tapo has 2x suction and about the same loudness as the ecovacs..to me it's quieter. Self emptying.. house hasn't distorted after 12hours and 680m^2 . Cleans well. Object avoidance is good for permanent furniture. For objects left, it gives it a bump and goes around it not a hard bump..I'm.ok with that
Honestly, I’d say it’s largely luck whether the vacuum you get works well. Even models with lots of good reviews can’t guarantee that the one you get won’t have any issues. I have an ecovacs n8 which’s pretty old model, but it’s been working well for years without any major problems. But this year I tried a new shark robot that was released recently, and it had a few issues like getting stuck and not running smoothly, so I ended up sending it back.
I have Ecovacs N8 plus (aging, about to retire), N30 and X8 in two floors. Pretty happy with product and support network in Kochi. Their customer care is quick, whatsapp responses immediately and resolution are within a day itself. And they are served by Frootle, which got a shop+service center in Kakkanad. Overall, highly recommended
Not much idea about N20 and Y1. Ecovacs is better on more upmarket models. MI or Eureka is better on starting models (VFM). That’s what I learned from N8 usage. Previously I had iRobot, N8 being a half a decade newer model had nothing much on value addition except for a base station with dustbag.
Ecovacs Deebot N8+ Had to replace battery once for around 8.5k that they said probably I was using in high suction mode all the time
Very happy with my Ecovacs N8+. Whatever you get make sure it has floor mapping and doesn't just bounce around dumbly.
I have the DeeBot N8+ I believe. We have two dogs who constantly shed. My main issue with the vacuum is it doesn't suck all the hair out when it goes to self empty itself. So I have to manually stop it, take the tray out and dump it. Not a huge deal, but feel as though it should be able to self empty itself since it has that feature. It also mops, but I haven't tried it. We have so many different rugs, carpets and transitions in our home, just seems like it would be a pain. Im looking at getting another robot vac to handle all the bedrooms and let the DeeBot take care of the living room, kitchen etc. Going to look at what Costco sells.
Same model here, I had to replace the main brush motor after a couple years. My main complaint is that it's bad at locating itself and it's a pain to restore maps when it messes up.
