"the price is around €600 on Amazon, pretty reasonable for a solid machine."
"The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price."
"Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it."

"Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. ... I barely see it."
"I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. ... Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last."
"Imo auto emptying and auto mop washing is a must"

"it has only side mop ... the new one T50 has both side brush and mop, so definitely better at cleaning edges and corners."

"I have the Ecovacs Deebot T30 (allegedly the same robot) and I have the same issue. ... every time it returns to its dock to empty the onboard bin (4-5 times per cleaning) I have to open the lid and physically remove huge clumps of hair from the port that connects the onboard bin to the brush. ... This tells me that the vacuum likely looses suction power early on due to the blockage and is just pushing debris around until I clear it manually."
I have the T30 Omni and it does very well in keeping my house clean with my hair that falls out constantly and 4 cats. Mine also auto empties. I think there’s something wrong with yours.
I also have a t30. And for the most part I’m happy. I’m just a bit frustrated since sometimes I notice streaks on my floors after a couple of weeks. I’ve changed the amount of water distributed but it hasn’t made a difference. I replace the mops once a week and wash the old ones and usually look brand new when I take them out. So that’s my main issue. My floor is also terrible that you literally just look at it then it gets dirty.
We have deeboot t30 Omni and two malting collies, it is a beast and does the mopping for the 3 minutes the house is hair free too
Just to say, we bought an ecovac t30 omni but had to return it within a month of purchasing. After returning it to Good guys, they then revealed to us that they are the most returned brand of robo vacs so... my suggestion, stay away from ecovacs. Their instructions, and troubleshooting is not very clear / helpful either.
We have an ecovacs t30 Omni and it is pretty great for overall cleaning. We have a gsd and a lab and they both shed like crazy so obviously a single robot is not enough but it definitely helps reducing the workload and the trips to the bin with the vacuum full of hair lol
1. Yes. 2. Yes. I have the Ecovacs Deebot T30 (allegedly the same robot) and I have the same issue. I don't have this issue as much with other robots.
Check out the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30 or X2 series - they're solid for cat hair. The rubber brushes don't tangle up like the bristle ones, suction is strong enough to handle shedding season, and they're pretty quiet for apartment living. Mopping is built-in, and accessories are easy to find on their site or Amazon. The auto-empty stations help a ton with all that fur too. Should fit your budget depending on which model you go with.
I feel you on the 2 kids + 3 pets struggle, floors are basically a combat zone. If the Qrevo isn't doing it for you, definitely check out the Ecovacs Deebot line (especially the T series when on sale). Their "Ozmo" mopping tech is a beast for sticky messes and pet tracks. You can often snag them under $500, and they might actually give you the "oomph" you're missing.
I got an ecovacs t30 and it definitely did a good job on keeping my floor clean, no hair tangle issue so far. Imo auto emptying and auto mop washing is a must, and it's quite enough for daily cleaning routine. But if you have low furniture clearance, then ecovacs t50 pro might be a better alternative.
Don’t by the T30. Awful. Also customer services with ecovac is awful.
Doesn’t work for me. I have a husky so a bit of dog hair and it struggles. It goes around it as if it’s an obstruction. Ecovacs answer was to turn off the radar which I did. It then gets trapped in the roller. There’s no cutting mechanism so it blocks up quickly and the vacuum isn’t powerful enough to suck it into its storage area. Pretty disappointed. I’m not talking about a big clunk of hair either.
How long did you have the t30 for as they wouldn’t accept mine back when I listed similar issues?
My bf got us an ecovacs t30 for our 3-cat household. Not sure how much it cost, but knowing him, I don’t think he’d spend a ton on it lol. It’s been vacuuming solid on both floors and carpets, picking up fur pretty well for about 6 month now.
Got the e28 too. Glad with my choice (here I got it for 880€ with a 12% discount). Arrived Sunday. For reference, I had an ecovacs T30, the station was louder when drying the pads. Overall the station is loud just when sucking the dirt out of the robot, for the rest, it's really quiet. Genuinely very quiet even at max compared to my previous vacuums. The main problem is the apps to me. Multiple apps, the one working the best is not the Eufy Clean, but the Eufy security. I couldn't remap things on the first one. But I can't get the matter code on the second one... The standalone machine is cool too. Not very practical since you need to move around with the wire. But it's efficient enough for me. Also integration into home assistant (for those who are interested) isn't yet done for E series. I am gonna try to add it if I get time.
I would avoid the ecovacs one. Got the T30 died in less than 3 months. It's the lottery with them. Roborock has been a solid choice for me. Never tried any dreame one so I can't say.
Eufy everyday against ecovacs. T30 was very overpriced for the quality. It's the lottery with their product and customer service. E28 (same as e25) is a breeze compared to the T30.
