"I have an ecovacs t30 pro that I’ve had for the past six months or so and it’s now in repair under warranty for the third time. ... The ecovacs has been a horrible experience, I have it for a little over six months and I just sent it in for repair for the third time."

"I have the Ecovacs Deebot T30 (allegedly the same robot) and I have the same issue. ... every time it returns to its dock to empty the onboard bin (4-5 times per cleaning) I have to open the lid and physically remove huge clumps of hair from the port that connects the onboard bin to the brush. ... This tells me that the vacuum likely looses suction power early on due to the blockage and is just pushing debris around until I clear it manually."

"It had a hard time with the thresholds. ... Did not make it over established ramps that the Roomba's (2 different) and the Dreame made without a problem. ... This resulted in a bad map. ... Once the room showed on a map, you could send it to that room and it would jump the threshold 2 out of 3 times. But it had only looked through the door and saw half the room. So it would either mop/vac half the room or get lost when it got to the section it had not mapped. ... It did not update the maps as it went. So it was not possible to get a 'good' map. ... It had trouble with all but one of the thresholds. ... My thresholds are all 3/4" or higher. At least one is a full inch or better. T30 AI is rated to 20mm which is just over 3/4 of an inch."
The after sales support has been good overall from my own experience, some of the issues seem to be pretty rare. Since I started using the t30, that smelly mop problem hasn’t happened again. And the mapping is easy to set up too, I usually clean by zones, it just feels more quick that way.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->I have the T30 Omni and it does very well in keeping my house clean with my hair that falls out constantly and 4 cats. Mine also auto empties. I think there’s something wrong with yours.
r/ecovacs • Best ecovac for dog hair (auto empty when full) ->I also have a t30. And for the most part I’m happy. I’m just a bit frustrated since sometimes I notice streaks on my floors after a couple of weeks. I’ve changed the amount of water distributed but it hasn’t made a difference. I replace the mops once a week and wash the old ones and usually look brand new when I take them out. So that’s my main issue. My floor is also terrible that you literally just look at it then it gets dirty.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->We have deeboot t30 Omni and two malting collies, it is a beast and does the mopping for the 3 minutes the house is hair free too
r/RobotVacuums • What robovac would be best for 3 long haired dogs? ->We have an ecovacs t30 Omni and it is pretty great for overall cleaning. We have a gsd and a lab and they both shed like crazy so obviously a single robot is not enough but it definitely helps reducing the workload and the trips to the bin with the vacuum full of hair lol
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Got the ecovacs T30 Omni pro. Does a good job on a big floor with lots of cats. But it's only a month old. Previous roborock S5 max worked for 5 years and was robust (but the wheel entangled in something and I couldn't fix it... ). But we never used the mop on it.
r/homeassistant • What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? ->Got the e28 too. Glad with my choice (here I got it for 880€ with a 12% discount). Arrived Sunday. For reference, I had an ecovacs T30, the station was louder when drying the pads. Overall the station is loud just when sucking the dirt out of the robot, for the rest, it's really quiet. Genuinely very quiet even at max compared to my previous vacuums. The main problem is the apps to me. Multiple apps, the one working the best is not the Eufy Clean, but the Eufy security. I couldn't remap things on the first one. But I can't get the matter code on the second one... The standalone machine is cool too. Not very practical since you need to move around with the wire. But it's efficient enough for me. Also integration into home assistant (for those who are interested) isn't yet done for E series. I am gonna try to add it if I get time.
r/RobotVacuums • Think I'm the first Aussie with the Eufy e28....quick review ->I would avoid the ecovacs one. Got the T30 died in less than 3 months. It's the lottery with them. Roborock has been a solid choice for me. Never tried any dreame one so I can't say.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help choosing between 3 robo vac/mops. ->Eufy everyday against ecovacs. T30 was very overpriced for the quality. It's the lottery with their product and customer service. E28 (same as e25) is a breeze compared to the T30.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs X9 Pro Moni, or EUFY E25? ->You can give the t30 omni a try. I have it on our second floor, and it does a great job mopping. There's a coffee table in the middle, and it always avoids it perfectly, so I'm happy with its obstacle avoidance. We usually vacuum first and then mop. BTW, a worth buy.
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy x10 pro vs. Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni ->I’ve had both the T30 and now I’m on the T50. I sent the T30 back as it kept thinking that the wood grain on my wood floor was an object and kept trying to avoid it. I ended up having to turn off object detection, which defeated the point of me purchasing it. T50 is much better with wood grain floors for me. But, although suction power on the T50 is reported as being higher, the airflow on the T30 seems better to me. In the UK they’ve just released the T30S with even better suction. IMO the T30 has a better brush bar too… If you don’t have wood floors with wood grain finish, I would probably get the T30.
r/ecovacs • T30 or T50, which one would be a better choice? ->I have t30 pro since last December. Pretty decent. Try buying directly from them, might even get additional discount (i bought through them only)
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs is doing a huge Diwali sale, anyone tried one in India? ->Yeah I feel you, I had the same issue with Ecovacs T30 Pro lol 2 defective units... Months apart. . So annoying but I just assumed it's the same batch being sent to the same location 🤷🏼♀️ I'm gonna check my rubber at the bottom now lol and see
r/RobotVacuums • Eufy X10 Review after 350+ hours ->We have a t30 pro and it does exceptionally well for a house with a dog and 2 cats. Only time it really gets clogged up is when it picks up a chunk of cardboard from the kiddos. They are timed. Or it can be room by room. It'll get emptied everytime it needs the water filled. I've also read if your not using the genuine bags they can play up sometimes as well.
r/ecovacs • Best ecovac for dog hair (auto empty when full) ->I'm on my 3d Premium Mop/Vac since December. I've run Roomba Vacs for years. Roomba is no longer the top dog. They did manage my high thresholds well when I set up door mats across the threshold to make a bridge. They vacuum ok. The self empty is good. Their vac strength and object avoidance is lacking. First premium was a Dreame x40 Ultra. Great machine if it could hold its mops. Worked great for about 4 weeks. It was able to jump thresholds without an issue, it updated the map each run and identified obstacles well. It never got stuck. Never sucked up a sock, pen or tissue. Then it stopped picking up it's mops when heading out to a mop only cycle. Sent it back. Second Pre was an Ecovac T30 Ai. It had a hard time with the thresholds. Did not make it over established ramps that the Roomba's (2 different) and the Dreame made without a problem. This resulted in a bad map. Once the room showed on a map, you could send it to that room and it would jump the threshold 2 out of 3 times. But it had only looked through the door and saw half the room. So it would either mop/vac half the room or get lost when it got to the section it had not mapped. It did not update the maps as it went. So it was not possible to get a 'good' map. It also does not seem to be multi-floor compatible. It went back. If I didn't have high thresholds it would have mapped well and I'd probably be super happy with it. Functionally it was good other than the threshold issue. 3rd and hopefully last is a RoboRock QRevo Curve, same bot as the Edge in a different base. It has been running well for the past couple weeks. Object avoidance is not as good as the Dreame. It has got stuck on a cord 2x and sucked up a small black cloth I use to clean my glasses. Both times stopping and waiting for me to help it. After helping you set it down and press play on the app. It locates and continues where it left off. It does seem to clear pet and human hair from it's brushes. I've run it for a few weeks in a house with a cat and a girl with long hair. I just looked at the brushes last night and they had zero hair in them. Moping could be better. I'm still working on that. I think I need to increase the wetness or wash frequency, it leaves swirls. All that said, I'm probably keeping this one. The gripes are minor and I like it's ability to raise itself over thresholds. It currently is cleaning a room the others could not get in and out of.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking to buy my first robot vacuum and I am completely overwhelmed ->i'm glad you like it. but currently am not a big fan of ecovacs and their sub brands. i had bad experience with one of their models going in and out of repair.
r/RobotVacuums • What is the most reliable robot vacuum? ->I have a roborock s5 max that works perfectly for almost 5-6 years and I have an ecovacs t30 pro that I’ve had for the past six months or so and it’s now in repair under warranty for the third time. I’m trying to find a new robot with s5 max level of reliability and I don’t how.
r/RobotVacuums • What is the most reliable robot vacuum? ->That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I have two robots at home, one that is working flawlessly for the past 5-6 years (Roborock s5 max) and it’s replacement that I bought after reading reviews for a week or so (ecovacs t30 pro). The ecovacs has been a horrible experience, I have it for a little over six months and I just sent it in for repair for the third time. So I’m trying to find another Roborock s5 and not another ecovacs t30
r/RobotVacuums • What is the most reliable robot vacuum? ->I got an ecovacs t30 and it definitely did a good job on keeping my floor clean, no hair tangle issue so far. Imo auto emptying and auto mop washing is a must, and it's quite enough for daily cleaning routine. But if you have low furniture clearance, then ecovacs t50 pro might be a better alternative.
r/RobotVacuums • Bot recommendations for a small apartment? (Dog hair) ->Don’t by the T30. Awful. Also customer services with ecovac is awful.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->Doesn’t work for me. I have a husky so a bit of dog hair and it struggles. It goes around it as if it’s an obstruction. Ecovacs answer was to turn off the radar which I did. It then gets trapped in the roller. There’s no cutting mechanism so it blocks up quickly and the vacuum isn’t powerful enough to suck it into its storage area. Pretty disappointed. I’m not talking about a big clunk of hair either.
r/ecovacs • Which Ecovacs model do you think is the best among all? ->How long did you have the t30 for as they wouldn’t accept mine back when I listed similar issues?
r/ecovacs • T30 or T50, which one would be a better choice? ->1. Yes. 2. Yes. I have the Ecovacs Deebot T30 (allegedly the same robot) and I have the same issue. I don't have this issue as much with other robots.
r/RobotVacuums • Am I expecting too much of my vacuum? ->My bf got us an ecovacs t30 for our 3-cat household. Not sure how much it cost, but knowing him, I don’t think he’d spend a ton on it lol. It’s been vacuuming solid on both floors and carpets, picking up fur pretty well for about 6 month now.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum and mop for pets ->I owned a Roborock s5 (very old), an ecovacs t30 (which I wild very soon) and now a dreame L40. I would Go with dreame or Roborock because of the software. The ecovacs was the only one that got stuck (3 times a week).
r/Dreame_Tech • Our first robot vacuum: Roborock Qrevo S or ECOVACS T20 Omni or Dreame L10s Ultra ->I got ecovacs t30 and I am quite happy with it. It's around 500+ with all the features for daily cleaning. No hair tangling issue so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Help! Robot vacuum headache! ->Ecovacs user here. Totally agreed with the zero tangle part. I haven't ran into any hair tangled issues with my Ecovacs T30. It does a good job on keeping my floor clean. I think it could also fit your basic needs, and the price is around €600 on Amazon, pretty reasonable for a solid machine.
r/RobotVacuums • I need advice for a robot vacuum/mop combo. ->Last year, I got a Golden Retriever to my home, and I also got an Ecovacs T30 robot vacuum. I set it to run 2-3 times a week to pick up my dog's long hair in my house. After walking the dog, I'll let the robot mop the floor to clean up the paw prints.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for German Shepherd Hair ->I don’t see many people around here using Eureka or Xiaomi vacuums, so I can’t say I know much about those. I’ve been using the ecovacs t30 for over six months now, and it’s been pretty solid in terms of cleaning power. No major issues yet, so I haven’t needed to contact customer support. When I first started using it though, I asked them about the cleaning liquid, and they were really helpful with the details.
r/BuyItForLifeIndia • Which is the best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Indian homes under 60-70k ->I just got my ecovacs T30. It seems to be doing a good job for me in the first few clean runs. I had it vac and mop hardwood kitchen and it worked great. Sometimes I use it just to vacuum the carpet.
r/RobotVacuums • Buying Robot Vacuum in Japan ->My girlfriend has long hair, and she sheds a lot after bathing and drying her hair. I got a deebot t30 for our place, and in fact it does well cleaning up that hair. For mopping, since most of your place is tile, it might not be bad to get one. Our place is mostly carpeted, so we don’t use the mopping function much, but it works well when we need it.
r/RobotVacuums • Recommendation for hardwood floor and long hair ->While I do not yet own a Yeedi S14 Plus I do own a Yeedi Cube. It's been with me for a over a year now. The brand itself is essentially a sub-brand of Eco-Vac (think Lexus vs Toyota) with Yeedi being the latter. The performance has been great relative to its pricing, the parts still work well and the mop is using a single pad vibration mechanism. This is not as good as my Deebot T30's dual spinning mop pad system but it's enough to remove most winter time salt stains from my tile flooring as well as most other light to medium intensity dirt marks in a single run. IMO one of the things that makes Yeedi good is that it's durable, it's motor and mopping tech is not as competitive as Narwal or Ecovac (on purpose) but out of all the robo vacs I have owned and used it's the only one I have yet to replace a single part for (dust bin just once). People often buy robo vacs based on feats but the really good ones are the ones that last past the 12 months mark once the wear and tear really kicks in. To play the devils advocate however I will say Yeedi's app is very mediocre compared to most other brands though. In 2025 you still cannot select the number of runs per operations for example. No amount of new hardware will fix a bad app sadly. Btw this isn't some paid/affiliated propaganda lol. I have owned a Narwal Freo, Ecovac Deebot T20 and T30, Euxy X8 and the Yeedi Cube (I am a YouTube reviewer so I work with these brands) and I have owned each one for a prolonged period of time and can give you a practical take on it. My fav robo vac to date when taking budget, tech and durability in mind is my now 3 year old Eufy X8 which is old tech but it wins in longevity hands down. Hope this helps! I may review the S14 Plus next month but that's TBD. I will share my unbiased opionion on this thread if it's still open.
r/VacuumCleaners • Any insights on Yeedi S14 PLUS roller mop robot vacuum? ->I had an Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro with the moping attachment for quite a few years. It vacuumed really well, but didn’t mop well at all so I rarely used that option. But as a vacuum it rocked. It mapped my house so I could select rooms for it to clean, set a timer etc. For Christmas this year I asked for the Ecovacs Deebot T30. It’s pretty freaking amazing. You can set it to just vacuum, or just mop, or it will vacuum and mop at the same time, or vacuum and then mop. It empties the dust bin on its own. It also cleans the mop heads during cleaning. So you can set it to mop for a certain amount of time, and then it will return to the base and clean its own mop heads with hot water, then set out again. The mop heads spin, so they’re actually cleaning and not just getting the floor wet. I’m in Canada, so here it was about $800 CAD. You have to buy the cleaning fluid and extra mop heads separately though. It’s worth every penny.
r/workingmoms • What are the best robot vacuums currently that you've tried and found really effective for daily cleaning? ->I have the Deebot T30 from Ecovacs. It vacuums and mops, empties on its own AND cleans the mop heads during cleaning.
r/workingmoms • What are the best robot vacuums currently that you've tried and found really effective for daily cleaning? ->I would say go with the Ecovacs T50,or T50 pro if you want a longer runtime. I have a T30, its been great but it has only side mop, the new one T50 has both side brush and mop, so definitely better at cleaning edges and corners.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me choose the best robot vacuum & mop for my needs! ->I love ours. I do NOT recommend the Roomba however, as their mapping software is awful and I have to spend a lot of time babysitting and reprogramming it. Having a self emptying vacuum is essential, otherwise it's not worth the hassle. I love the self washing mop option. Ecovacs Omni self emptying combo vacuum / mop is great on our hard surface floors but mediocre on rugs and carpet. I believe Roborocks may hit the sweet spot of vacuuming carpets well with the double roller design that works so well for Roomba, while having decent map handling. All that being said, an alternative that made a big difference for us is a good stick vacuum from Dyson or Shark. Take the time to hang the charger in as place where you can quickly grab the vacuum as needed. I bought a second "stick" so we call swap between the carpet head and hard surface floor head quickly and easily. Do your research now and then wait for Black Friday sales. You can check online but are likely to get better prices actually going into a store to get the item if possible. Costco and Target have had great sales on these in the past.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Yeah, my Ecovacs with lidar cruised through our open floorplan house and made the map in under 10 minutes, as compared to days of clearing the floor and running the Roomba for hours. And the Ecovacs doesn't continuously override the map and add or delete rooms, move the base station to think it's *inside* the wall, or do any of the other idiocy that Roomba keeps doing.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->We've had roomba, ecovacs, and Miele in the past. The Ecovacs pro Omni is my favorite. I run Miele scout about once a week for large particles dragged in from the yard. Long hair is no match for this model and it doesn't get stuck everywhere and suck up cords. It has great mapping and AI integration. I highly recommend it and the winbot.
r/homeautomation • Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum? ->I love our Deebot Omni . Highly recommend and definitely get my money’s worth. Don’t buy a cheap one, that will not help you get your money’s worth.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.
r/RobotVacuums • Need Real Feedback Before I Drop $$$ – Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Eufy… (or Others) - Help Me Decide ->We have this one too and it is so good. Vital for us now with two cats who like to shed. Initially it was a little bit expensive but so so so worth it.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->Plenty of YouTube channels that do objective testing and reviews. I've got the Ecovacs Omni with the docking station and it's great. Docking station is a must in my opinion. Especially if you have a larger home. It's the difference between the whole house being vacuumed, and just the remainder of the capacity in the robot, which varies depending on when you emptied it last. Ours mops as well, a handy feature if you have hard surfaces too.
r/newzealand • best robot vacumn ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->We started with one iRobot, it worked great! Later decided on a brava (iRobot mop) and it worked amazingly! I was in my doctorate program and didn’t have time to clean the floors. We have two small dogs and five children. The floors are one thing I don’t have to worry about anymore. We recently moved and purchased two combo vacuum and mop, one is iRobot and the other is ecovacs. I like the ecovac more, it seems smarter, however they both do a great job. We have three stories so there are robot vacuum on each floor, they run every day, this keeps the stairs pretty clean and I vacuum the stairs once a week. Our original robot is eight years old and runs fine with daily use.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->I run my whole smart home primarily on smartthings, about 150 devices, so it can definitely work as a great platform. One of the problems though, is that any premium device type that Samsung makes (Washer, dryer, vacuum, tv) they always make the third party integrations either not function or be pretty much useless if it does. They want you to buy the Samsung stuff at a $$ premium. For a vacuum I use an ecovacs vacuum mop combo. It doesn't work with smartthings, but because my robot vacuum doesn't really need to interact with anything else, it's never been an issue. Highly recommend ecovacs, roborock, or eufy as brands.
r/SmartThings • Setting up my first smart home with SmartThings – and looking for a robot-vac recommendation ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
