I've got a lot of carpets on the second floor, so I placed an eovacs x5 pro omni up there. It's great at picking up dust, and usually gets those small particles from the carpet and dust in the corners too. I don't mop much, but I tried it on the first floor before, it cleaned pretty well.
r/homeassistant • What's your TOP PICK for the best Robot Vacuum Mop today? ->I’ll say something good about them! I’ve had 3, T20, X5 and the X9 which is the best so far. I’ve moved them to my other home as I upgrade and still running great. Now the X5 I had to return, the vacuum box door didn’t close tight, I asked for just the dust bin but they said send it all back so I did, no problems here.
r/RobotVacuums • Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni cleans up at VacuumWars awards - best overall, best mop, best dry vacuum ->I've got a Deebot X5 Omni. Does both those things. Mop function isn't great but it'll save you having to do it as often as you are.
r/RobotVacuums • Australia - What is the best robot vacuum for wooden and tiled floors with good mopping function? ->why everyone say that ecovacs sucks?!
r/RobotVacuums • Done with the Dreame X40, Any recommendations? ->Yeah ecovacs isn't the most good but It isn't too bad i have the X5
r/RobotVacuums • Done with the Dreame X40, Any recommendations? ->I love our Deebot Omni . Highly recommend and definitely get my money’s worth. Don’t buy a cheap one, that will not help you get your money’s worth.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->I live by mine. Deebot with self emptying. Has full map and Lidar so barely gets caught. Starts when I leave home and when I return it docks and empties. I barely see it.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->I love ours. I do NOT recommend the Roomba however, as their mapping software is awful and I have to spend a lot of time babysitting and reprogramming it. Having a self emptying vacuum is essential, otherwise it's not worth the hassle. I love the self washing mop option. Ecovacs Omni self emptying combo vacuum / mop is great on our hard surface floors but mediocre on rugs and carpet. I believe Roborocks may hit the sweet spot of vacuuming carpets well with the double roller design that works so well for Roomba, while having decent map handling. All that being said, an alternative that made a big difference for us is a good stick vacuum from Dyson or Shark. Take the time to hang the charger in as place where you can quickly grab the vacuum as needed. I bought a second "stick" so we call swap between the carpet head and hard surface floor head quickly and easily. Do your research now and then wait for Black Friday sales. You can check online but are likely to get better prices actually going into a store to get the item if possible. Costco and Target have had great sales on these in the past.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->Yeah, my Ecovacs with lidar cruised through our open floorplan house and made the map in under 10 minutes, as compared to days of clearing the floor and running the Roomba for hours. And the Ecovacs doesn't continuously override the map and add or delete rooms, move the base station to think it's *inside* the wall, or do any of the other idiocy that Roomba keeps doing.
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I don't know the other two because I haven't had them. But I have had ecovacs, and I absolutely do not recommend them. It's a waste of money. Influencers pay and this is how they made a name for themselves... but I went crazy with my X5 omni.
r/RobotVacuums • Narrowed my choices down to 3 options - which one do you recommend? ->As someone with carpet in their home and many pets. I've found that my DEEBOT X5 does as good a job as my corded vac did. The self empty cycle only runs after the vac has completed its run and I've never had it empty multiple times during a run. And bear in mind the X5 doesn't have a big dustbin The suction these days especially on newer vacs has reached cordless level. Eufy even have a robovac that has a detachable module that lets you turn it into a cordless vac
r/RobotVacuums • Robot vacuums only make sense for floors, not with lots of carpet? ->I have a deepot x5 pro omni, and so far I have no complain. It really free up a lot of my time.
r/japanresidents • Robot vacuum recommendations? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
