Reliable, great mopping (lifts pads), but poor cable avoidance.

I upgraded to the E25 from the C20 and I'm pretty happy with it. I got it refurbished from the Anker ebay shop for £365 and that made me even happier.
That's a nice deal on E25. I have one. Great roller mop. On thick carpet, Mova P10 ultra 2nd generation with optional tricut brush is better. We use both.
The E25 is rectangular shaped so is pretty good at edge mopping. Too bad they didn't put vacuum up front like a Neato.
I just bought a mova p10 ultra gen 2 and a Eufy E25 to compare. I even equipped the Mova with the optional tricut brush because I am looking for one that vacuums as well as my old Neato's which is no longer supported by the manufacturer. I found the Eufy to be far superior at vacuuming carpet so I will be returning the Mova. The Eufy also is square and gets into more difficult places to clean. When the Eufy first came out the rear water bin had a design defect so negative early reviews can be attributed to that. Eufy replaced the bin for people. I will note that my Eufy came with a defective power cord and I am using one I had around until Eufy replaces it. Just a dad has a review of each model.
We have an eufy E25 and E28. This is a perfect comparison of the 2 models. However, we are waiting for our 4th E28. The first 3 were defective. So be sure to buy a E28 from a reliable source that makes returns easy.
Eufy E25 or E28 have nice roller mops for hard floors. Decent vacuuming on carpet.
Excellent routine mopping. Vacuuming of carpets is not as good as old Neato's. Mova P10 ultra 2nd generation is better at carpet. E25 drop sensors may suck. You probably need to put a nogo zone in front of staircases which is ridiculous since drop sensors have been reliable for other brands for at least a decade.
I can't really say. It can map multiple floors but if it needs to recharge on a floor with out the dock I don't know what it does. The Mova P10 ultra 2nd generation is stupid. If you take it to a different floor to recharge it thinks the job is completed. You get around that by doing just certain rooms and not the whole floor if a recharge will be needed. Probably true of all brands including the Eufy.
The E28 is available with $69 accessory kit and 2 bottles of cleaner on Eufy site for $671 at least it was yesterday. It is louder than E25 when sucking dust into dock. We like our E25 mopping roller and the vacuum is good enough on carpet though not as good as Mova P10 ultra 2nd generation with optional tricut brush. We had to send back two E28's because an injection error left a puddle of clean water on the floor. Eufy said they are working on a firmware fix. I have another E28 on order but I won't open it until Eufy has confirmed the fix.
One more thing. Put no go lines in front of any open stairs. The drop sensors on the E25/E28 are not the best.
Eufy website has them cheaper. You might be able to get one with free accessory set. E28 which has removable spot cleaner may be cheaper than E25, though is noisier and the 2 I had had to go back due to a clean water injection error. I am about to buy another one hoping that the issue is fixed. Supposedly a firmware issue according to support. By the way, if you buy an E25, the power cord is very tight. Don't be afraid to slap it in hard.
We have a mixture of hardwoods (polyurethaned) and carpet. We used Neato's for years and just wanted a good vacuum. But my wife loves the mopping feature on the Eufy E25. No kids, no pets, no outside shoes in the house. But the dirty water always has a little ting and dirt floating in it.
We have a Eufy E25 which is decent vacuuming carpets and outstanding roller mopping of hard floors. But we also have a Mova P10 ultra 2nd generation with optional tricut brush available at Walmart the brush is $20. It is superior on carpet especially plush carpet where the tricut brush combs the fibers. The now discontinued Neato's were people's favorite for carpet because of the D shape and full width front brush.
If he has carpet he'd be better off with an eufy e25. I tried both and the Mova was worthless on carpet even with the optional tricut brush. And the Eufy is much quieter.
One that I like because of the value is the Eufy E20 combo. It's basically double duty as a stick vacuum and a robot vacuum. The best pure vacuum robot is probably the Dyson Vis Nav, but it's not perfect in other ways.
I find that my e25 is kind of weak for a vacuum. I think it has to do with the actual vacuum “mouth” (idk what to call it, the place where the rollers are) is fairly small compared to the mop roller which is the whole thing. It just doesn’t vacuum the whole area it drives over.
> I think you’re buying this machine for the mop Definitely. That said, I find it to be a very good mop especially at this price. But if I didn’t need the mop, I would probably have gone with another option.
I’ll recommend the one I have, which is the eufy e25. The e28 is the same thing but with a spot cleaner. It works really well for me. Cleans great, navigates great, feels well built. It doesn’t really leave me wanting for much.
Some people have very strong opinions about this. Very few people have hands on experience with both types, because who buys 2 robot vacuums unless you are a reviewer, and then you're not really using them in a real world scenario. Bottom line is that they both function just fine for home use. Your floors will be noticeably cleaner with any mopping robot vacuum than with a non-mopping robot vacuum. Pros of the spinning mops: there's no on-board dirty water tank, so you don't have to clean that out periodically. The robot returns to the base and washes the mop pads, and the dirty water is stored on the base station only. In my opinion, this is the *only* advantage that the spinning mops have over a roller mop. Pros of the roller mops: downward pressure is isolated in a smaller area, which will increase the scrubbing power for dried on stuff. There are no blind spots in the mopping. The spinning mop pads have a big blind spot right in the middle of the robot where the mop pads meet. The rolling mop is scraped clean (not completely, but it does scrape off some dirty water) as it spins. In theory it means you are cleaning with a cleaner mop, but these mops hold a lot of water, and the scraper can not get it entirely clean. It's still cleaner than the spinning mops which make no attempt to clean the pads during the cleaning except for returning to the base. But here's why it doesn't really matter that much. These should be cleaning every day, or most days. The accumulation of grime on your floors is going to be minimal. You're not going to be dealing with huge ketchup spills or whatever you see in these tests that reviewers or manufacturers show. You're going to deal with some liquid that splashed when you were cooking and didn't notice and it dried. Maybe your dog sneezed and there's dog snot on the ground. That kind of stuff. Small messes that would accumulate if you only mopped once a month, but you're not mopping just once a month. You're mopping 5 times a week. Anyway, I still prefer a roller mop. They are no longer only available on the flagship robovacs. You can get them on <$1000 robots. Spinning mops will become a feature that is only on the more budget/mid range level robots because even if it's only really better in theory, it is still better. I bought a Eufy e25 and it's been excellent. There's plenty of good options. Oh, and you're going to be cleaning your robovac every month or so anyway. Cleaning the dirty water tank is really not a big deal. Just spray it out in the sink.
I've got the e25 (same robot, no spot cleaner) and I agree with all that. Obstacle avoidance is top notch. Navigation is excellent. One cool thing is that it can actually clean up wet spills. You don't need to clean it up first. I probably still would, but it's not necessary. And check if it's leaving water drops as it's mopping. There may be a few drops trailing the robot periodically. If that's happening, there's a new dirty water tank available that Eufy can send you. Since you've had it for 2 weeks, it's possible that yours already has the new tank on it. But if not, it's good to get.
My wife and I have been renting for years with mostly carpet floors, but we just bought a house and the first floor has all hardwood and vinyl so one thing I wanted to make sure we did was upgrade our Roomba i3 to something with a mop. I decided to get the Eufy e25 for a few reasons. The cost seemed really good for a vacuum with this feature set, I‘m familiar with Eufy/Anker products and I know them to generally be good quality, and I believe that a roller mop is superior to spinning mops because of the on-board dirty water tank where the dirt goes, rather than just catching whatever it can in the brushes and spreading the rest around. \*\*The cleaning experience\*\* Setup was super easy. Very straight forward. I find Eufy’s app to be pretty good and easy to use. It mapped my first floor in a few minutes and it was perfectly accurate with the floor types and areas where furniture were. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to map. While cleaning, it’s so much quieter than I’m used to. Maybe this is just normal these days, but for my Roomba I don’t want to be at home while it’s running. It’s so loud. But I can be at home and it really doesn’t bother me. That’s great for when I make a mess and I need it to come clean, but usually I still prefer it to clean when I’m at work because coming home to clean floors is so nice. It does leave a good amount of water on the floors, and that’s true no matter how much water you tell it to use. So IDK what that does, or if it does anything, but if that would bother you, might not be the best mop for you. It doesn’t really bother me because the water is clean and it doesn’t streak. Obstacle avoidance is excellent with this robot. I only have had to get something out of its rollers once, and there are always cat toys strewn about our floors. Oddly, it did shove a kitchen chair across the floor like 5 feet. IDK how that’s possible with the bump sensors and lidar, but it did it. Every other time it does a very careful job cleaning under the kitchen table and does it about as well as you can expect without getting trapped. Mopping is excellent. It picks up so much grime. I have it run 4 days a week and we aren’t dirty people, but the dirty water tank is always nasty and the floors are always perfectly clean. I couldn’t be happier with the mopping ability. Carpet vacuuming is good. I think the Roomba I have is actually a little better than it due to the dual rollers, and the wider brush intake. But still, I’m not disappointed in the carpet cleaning. Roomba has always been known for their carpet cleaning and not stacking up to it doesn’t make this bad at all. \*\*Quirks\*\* It has multiple floor mapping, but when I bring it upstairs to clean, I’d like to to mop our landing area and the bathroom floors, but if you lift it off the base station, there will not be water in the tank. It doesn’t hold clean water on-board until you tell it to run. So I have to initiate a job on the first floor and then snatch it and put it upstairs. Then it works fine. It figures out where it is in about 5 seconds and it cleans normally and it does a great job. But I wish it would keep clean water on board when it’s just sitting there. IDK why it wouldn’t. On the map, it sees where the stairway to the basement is, and it never falls down the stairs, but it maps it like it’s the same floor because we leave the door open. Not really a problem, but the map looks a little odd in that spot. \*\*Cleaning the robot\* Cleaning the on board dirty water tank is a bit of a hassle. It’s not easy to get in to and there’s cat hair all over it, among with general grime. https://preview.redd.it/xgh1yabhbpcf1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=636ed688af45ba3ac140a93993502a66b8364cfb https://preview.redd.it/zxz4mabhbpcf1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fba0e21e422a1c7d04a1d259735a26270cc11cc1 The good news is, spraying it with some hot water cleaned it up real nice. Did not take much elbow grease. The brush rollers didn’t need much cleaning. There were no hair tangles and despite what it looks like on the sides, that’s just dust that didn’t get sucked up. Wiped it off easily. I saw on Vacuum Wars the e28 developed hair “clumps” behind the rollers, but I think that wouldn’t be a problem if you’re just dealing with a moderate amount of hair/fur. The amount they have in such a small area in their test is IMO excessive. https://preview.redd.it/lesn5f80cpcf1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb2c78687cbcd4dc86c8c2112e809232c13a4865 The roller mop did not need cleaning. I took it off and inspected it but I decided not to wash it. It was as clean as I’d expect. Cleaning the dust bin was also very simple and it didn’t need much. I think cleaning once a month is about right. Maybe every 2 weeks. I wish it did a better job self-cleaning the on board dirty water tank. That’s the only thing that I was a little disappointed in. It was very dirty and didn’t seem to eject larger bits of debris in to the dirty water tank on the base station, so I could see this getting clogged if someone doesn’t clean it regularly. I think for the price, it’s hard to argue with it. I’m very very happy with it. I think it’s a 9/10. It just leaves a little too much water behind on the floors and it will require some time dedicated to cleaning it every so often, more cleaning than I maybe anticipated. But 15 minutes every few weeks isn’t a big deal. I recommend it to those considering it. Ask me any questions you have about it!
So, despite leaving quite a bit of water behind on my floors (despite the water usage level I have it set to), the dirty water tank fills up pretty quickly, and it is filthy every time. I run it 4 times a week and we don't have kids, rarely wear shoes in the house, and just have 2 cats. So that leads me to believe that the mop *does* work well. Next time it runs when I'm home I'll grab a paper towel and wipe behind it and see if the paper towel is just damp, or if it's brown/dirty looking. There IS a design flaw with the on-board dirty water tank and Eufy is aware of it. Mine doesn't seem to be effected, but people comment on dirty water drops left behind it as it mops. Maybe this is happening to you?
First off, I have a Eufy E25 and I love it. It cleans so so so well. So if you go with that, I think you'll be pleased with the cleaning performance and noise level (except when it empties the bin, but they're all loud when they do that). As far as looks go, the best thing to do is hide it behind furniture. We have ours behind a couch. The couch sits about a foot away from the wall which gives enough room to fit the base there and it's tall enough off the ground for the robot to easily clean under it and find the base without any problems. If you came to my house, you probably wouldn't even notice it was there unless you looked behind the couch. It's like a little garage for the robot Do you have a good place like that to put the base station? Or will it have to be out in the open? I find Dreame or Mova (same company) makes some really attractive looking base stations.
I actually think his conclusion was different than what I expected based on what he showed in the video. Roller mops DID outperform spinning mops. They did the job in fewer passes and had to return to the base less frequently. He just didn't like that you had to clean out the on-board dirty water tank. But he's testing with super dirty floors, so his tank is going to be messier than the average person. I've cleaned out my e25's dirty water tank and it takes like 5 minutes every 3 or 4 weeks and it's not overly dirty or nasty.
I haven’t had that experience. I actually took it apart to clean it the other day and decided it didn’t even need to be cleaned after inspecting it.
I find my eufy e25 to do exceptionally well on carpet with cat hair. It's quiet and quick as well and has good obstacle avoidance. I'm sure there's a lot of good ones, but I've had a lot of good experiences with this!
I have the e25 and I’d buy it again. I find that it has *excellent* obstacle avoidance, excellent mopping, and excellent vacuuming. Hard to argue with IMO. And the base is less of an eye sore
I've been really happy with my e25. Suction power is pure marketing fluff but it does a great job nonetheless.
As someone who still uses a roomba and just upgraded to a Eufy e25, it’s night and day different. Although I remain impressed with roomba’s carpet cleaning. It’s damn good and the Eufy doesn’t seem to do as good a job, honestly.
I've had really great success with my e25 when it comes to obstacle detection/avoidance and not needing to intervene or come home and find it stuck somewhere. It did the mapping on the first try and split my rooms up accurately. I did notice that it shoved a kitchen chair across the room once, which I thought was strange because of the bump sensor and lidar were otherwise so good at detecting things. And usually it navigates the kitchen table/chairs without touching the legs. So maybe there's a bug with their software that gives a blindspot for things like chair legs sometimes since you mentioned the bar stools were a problem. Also I've never had issues with cat hair or my wife's curly hair getting caught in the rollers. After a month with it there were absolutely no tangles at all. Not to say that the T80 isn't a better robot, it probably is. I've just been really happy with the e25 and haven't experienced some of the things you were mentioning. It definitely does leave behind more water though. It's clean water and dries without streaking, but when I'm home when it's cleaning I do try to avoid walking in the rooms it's actively mopping or have just mopped.
I've had a great experience with my Eufy e25. When I'm really lazy and the kitchen is a mess I'll just brush all the crumbs and stuff on to the floor and tell it to come out and clean and it's like brand new.
I have one, I love it. No big complaints. I wrote [this](https://old.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1lz3ew6/eufy_e25_1_month_review/) a few months ago and my opinions are pretty much the same now as they were then. I would recommend NOT getting the E28 and instead just get the E25. The reasoning is that it doesn't really need to be a combo unit, and if the spot cleaner breaks, you've now broken your robot vacuum too. I have a Bissell spot cleaner for the cats and it's great. Wait until tomorrow for the Prime deals, maybe the price will come down a little bit.
No, maintaining a roller mop is not that bad. It takes slightly longer than your normal cleaning that you need to do on the vacuum every couple of weeks. Get a cheap toothbrush to clean out the on-board tank. I threw my roller in the laundry yesterday to see if it helped and it seemed to spruce it up a bit. The roller itself is one thing that I generally don't feel the need to clean. I inspect it and it's always looking pretty good, so I just clean the rest of the robot. Decided to put it in the laundry because I happened to be running it while also cleaning the robot.
I have the eufy e25 for similar conditions and I think it’s great. Mostly hard floors but I do have carpets too. Great performance on both surfaces. 2 cats and a wife with long curly hair. Not one tangle. I did contact support over the dripping dirty water tank and they sent me a replacement with a fix so that was a pretty good experience. One thing I’d suggest doing if you get the eufy is to do 2 cleanings per day. The first one just vacuum, no mopping. Get as much hair and dirt vacuumed up as possible. Then do a vacuum/mopping run. I find that this keeps cat hair from getting in to the dirty water tank and brush which cuts down on how much manual cleaning you need to do to the robot and base station (there’s always going to be some cat hair, but it helps a lot).
I got the replacement tank last night and so far no drips.
I've had a great experience with my e25. Ecovacs obstacle avoidance is not as good, and the mop is narrower on the robot (although it does extend out on the side for edge mopping which is nice). Overall I think the e25 is just a little better.
Yeah it does a good job with corners. The edge sweeper extends and it gets in there. Maintenance is pretty easy. Every ~2 weeks I take it apart and clean out the dirty water tank and dust bin. Doesn't take long. It rinses out easily enough. Not a bad idea to have a toothbrush or something that you use to get in the tank and scrub the hard to reach places. I imagine cleaning the X8 is going to be a similar experience when it comes to cleaning. I've heard some people complain about a dirty water smell from their mopping robots, but I've thankfully never had this experience. It lives in my family room and I'm near it a lot but I only ever smell the dirty water when I empty the tank, which I need to do about once a week.
The problem with vacuum only robots is that they tend to be the budget options in the companies' lineups. So they lack features, like good object avoidance features, the best anti hair tangle rollers, longest battery life, etc. I have two Eufy's (there's plenty of good brands, I just have had mostly good experience with Eufy). An E25 for my main floor which does mopping and has a camera for the object avoidance AI and it's great. Hair never tangles in the rollers, I just need to clean it out every few weeks and refill the water and empty the dirty water periodically. For upstairs I just bought an E20, which I got primarily because of the stick vacuum combo. This does not have a camera so it doesn't detect objects, but with the lidar it does still avoid things in front of it to some degree. So far I've been pretty happy with it. It's quite large, so it doesn't get under all my furniture, but the floors are clean and it does nice neat rows and it hasn't eaten a cat toy yet. I haven't had it long enough to form a full opinion on it, but I like it a lot so far.
That makes sense. It's just the one part of your scoring system that isn't something that you guys personally measure. Your testing is the most valuable part of your channel and brand, at least it is to me. And that's the only aspect that isn't a Vacuum Wars test score and is influenced by outside parties. But I get that there's a balance between wanting to give people the best advice possible and most objective rankings that you personally can verify. I'm having a great experience with the Eufy e25. It's everything I could have hoped for. But I've heard others have some issues with it. So it makes me a little hesitant to recommend it.
My Eufy e25 does a great job with cat hair on carpet and hard floors.
Generally, suction power in the form of PSI is a useless measure of how well the vacuum performs at picking up dirt and hair and whatnot. Companies will advertise these figures like crazy because the big numbers stand out and people DO buy based on these figures, but more suction power does not necessarily make a better vacuum. I'd take a look at the Narwhal Flow or a Eufy. I have the cheapest Eufy sold which has a roller mop (e25) and I think it does a great job cleaning. I see they're coming out with a new model now too that also has one. I've heard really good things about the Narwhal flow too. One thing I'd keep an eye out for is how well these vacuums do with hair tangles I assume your dog sheds and you don't want to be grabbing hair out of the rollers every time it runs. So anti-tangle rollers that actually work are important.
> are there any with a camera that is unable to take high quality images? If you're worried about a company taking photos of your house and what you're doing and sending it home to China, whatever they *say* they can and cannot do shouldn't matter for this context. So no, not really. The Eufy e25 I have has a camera for obstacle detection/avoidance. I can't access it, but it's there.
There's nothing that will avoid *EVERYTHING* 100% of the time, but yes there are plenty of options that do a really good job avoiding objects like cables and cat toys. My Eufy e25 has really good object avoidance. I only need to rescue it once every few months. It is usually great at avoiding things in front of it but I've found cat toys caught in the mop roller when it's stuck which indicate that it backs up in to them. I guess that makes sense because the camera is in the front. Eufy is a Chinese company but I would call them a "big established company". They're a sub-brand of Anker.
If you have the e25 you don’t need to upgrade to a new robot vacuum.
> One can look up all the tests in the world, but the differences between the good models is marginal in actual use This is so true. The tests are usually rooms or areas completely FULL of dirt and hair and whatever other debris they use to test pickup. That's just not a realistic setting (and if it is for you, you've got bigger problems than which robot vacuum is the best). The difference between an AMAZING vacuum and a pretty good one is so minimal in a home that's generally clean, especially because they will be cleaning almost every day. I think the biggest difference between one vacuum to another is how well they navigate and how well they avoid eating things like cables and dog/cat toys. This is key because that's how you can be sure that they will complete the cleaning runs almost every time without intervention, and you'll always come home to a house that's been vacuumed, and not a vacuum stuck on a cable that it dragged halfway around the house. The e25/28 does an awesome job with this, so I'm really really happy with mine. I have had mine run two times each day. Once just vacuuming, and one vacuuming and mopping. I do this because I noticed quite a bit of cat hair in the dirty water tray where the mop gets cleaned and dried, and also in the on board tank. Since I started having it clean twice it has cut down on the amount of cat hair that ends up in those places.
My base station dirty water is only ever water and grime, not hair. The hair gets filtered out in the on board dirty water tank and the tray where it washes the mop. I wish it had a vacuum then mop option but I’ve just been setting 2 schedules with about an hour between when the first cleaning ends so it can charge up. Also, have it return to base every 15 minutes.
I agree with this having owned both. I had to return the x10 last year due to battery issues (after replacements sent by eufy) and the mops were making a weird noise which was the breaking point. Currently have the E25 and very happy with it.
I have a Eufy Omni E25 and am happy with it. 4 dogs (2 are big shedders) and it handles the fur nicely. I like that it has a roller mop and that the cleaner dispenses into the water automatically. If you look at my comments, I’ve written more in depth on it in other replies, but I recommend the E25 (and bought it on Amazon).
As far as Eufys with a roller mop, I recommend the E25. It works well with our 4 dogs, but I can’t speak to how it does with pee spots. Though according to this video (4:45) it picks up liquid spills just fine. [Eufy video](https://youtu.be/0ZDzKtfwVRo?si=WQvWfNcmDwZ1qjuG) For more details about the E25 with dogs, search my comment history. Good luck!
The biggest issue I’ve had with robot vacuums and pet hair is the auto empty feature. With 4 dogs, we have a lot of dog hair. I’ve had 2 robot vacuums not be able to auto empty (a Yeedi vac station and Roborock Quervo QV 35A) which is hugely frustrating. My Roomba j7+ auto emptied just fine, but didn’t have a mopping function. My current vacuum, a Eufy E25, auto empties and has a roller mop. The roller mop is key for reducing mop smells, since it rinses the mop as part of the cleaning process (as opposed to the spinning mop heads which only get cleaned when the robot goes back to base). Now that I’ve had a good vacuum/mopper, I’m never going back. Mopping keeps my floors soooo much cleaner, especially when it’s wet outside and my dogs track in mud. I like that the E25 has an auto-dispense function for the cleaning solution, which makes paying extra for the proprietary cleaner totally worth it. Another thing that’s really helped reduce smells is running the robot twice a day. First I run it on vacuum only to pick up as much dog hair as possible, then about 2 hours later I run the vacuum/mop setting (the E25 does not have a mop only function). This keeps the mop head mostly clear of dog hair, and prevents a wet dog smell. If you let the hair build up on the mop it transfers to the tray in the base station, where it stays damp and smells like wet dog. The E25 is good at avoiding dog toys, but struggles with socks and cables. Overall I’m very happy with it and it’s currently $649 on Amazon. As a side note, I highly recommend buying on Amazon so you can use the Asurion protection plan. Yes, I know Amazon is a terrible company. Unfortunately I am stuck with them because of the Asurion insurance subscription. It works great and I’ve made a lot of claims with them. Insurance is a must for any robots, because they will break. The Roomba I had died when our Rottweiler peed on it. Asurion refunded the purchase priced because it couldn’t be repaired, and that’s how I paid for the next vacuum!
It’s good for as long as you pay the subscription. If you don’t want to do a subscription there’s an option to purchase a warranty for a set period of time (up to 3 years, I think). Before I had a subscription this is what I did. They do not depreciate the value. You get your purchase price refunded back as an Amazon credit. For example, I bought the Yeedi in 2021 for $501.80 (after tax) and it died in 2024. I got a refund of the pre-tax price of $468.97. This has been consistent with all of the claims I’ve made over the years… you get the full purchase price minus tax. If you read the subscription fine print you’ll see that there’s a $5,000 maximum for warranty claims annually. They look at the previous 12 months, not the calendar year. Making multiple claims per year I haven’t come anywhere near the maximum, but something to keep in mind.
I don’t know if the rotating mop heads are crap, but I did notice dirt build up around the edges of the room after a few weeks of daily vac/mopping. I get this issue on a much smaller scale with my roller mop. So in my experience, the roller mop cleans better, but I would take rotating mop heads over no mop any day. FWIW I think you can get the roller mop that I have (Eufy E25) for less than $500 now, so a roller mop is in your price range. I’ve commented a bit on my experience with the E25 so you can search my comments for more details, but overall I’m happy with it and would recommend it
I had a Roborock Qrevo last year and had to return it because the auto-empty function couldn’t handle all the dog hair in my house (4 dogs). This made the vacuum basically useless for me, even though I loved everything else about it. The crazy part is that customer service said they wouldn’t recommend any robot vacuum for my situation, so I would stay away from Roborock completely if you have a lot of pet hair. I knew this was not true for other brands, as my old Roomba would auto-empty just fine. I ended up getting a Eufy E25 and it works great. Search my comment history for details about the E25, or let me know if you have any specific questions. Here’s what I wrote to Roborock’s customer service: “Do you have a recommendation for a Roborock vacuum mopper that can auto empty lots of dog hair (I have 4 dogs)? I was quite happy with the QV35A otherwise, and the customer service has been excellent. So I would be happy to purchase a Roborock again, as long as it has an auto empty feature that works for my needs.” See screenshot for their reply lol https://preview.redd.it/i6hu95axmi5h1.jpeg?width=1525&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f071d62afeb2fc156f368a2f380a5125780d1a0b
I have 4 dogs and what’s made the biggest difference for me is running my Eufy E25 twice a day… first on vac only, then on vac/mop. This way most of the dog hair/dried mud/leaves/etc is gone so it’s not clogging up the mop
I love the e25 I bought.
