Just got a Eufy C10 RoboVac. Yippeee.. Works great. I am hairless. I sit at my desk, open the phone app, and tell Igor to do it's thing every morning. The first time I used it the roller clogged with hair (my 2 are going through a massive shed) so I vacuumed with a upright, and tried again. Complete success, and as long as I RoboVac once a day the thing doesn't clog. So, every morning Igor goes to work. https://preview.redd.it/9l52hrj2m1ef1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd699492f97d3b73ad5c684811e4ca59299fc216

I have been using [this](https://x.com/xploreproducts/status/1941190397520482590) from eufy for a while now and it has been working great for me so far, I would highly recommend it . It is pretty pet friendly and great if you wanna clean low profile areas as well

My C10 was horrible. Returned. Software, map, vacuum, dockstation. All had issues. Was debating L10s and Q10 5s.

I just got it a few days ago and am running it head to head with a RoboRock Q8 Max+. See my comparison here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1h2ip9d/switched\_from\_22\_roomba\_j7\_to\_roborock\_q8\_max/?sort=new](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/1h2ip9d/switched_from_22_roomba_j7_to_roborock_q8_max/?sort=new) So far, the C10 is leading over the Q8 for me. I have 2 dogs and hard floors with some low pile area rugs. Still running more tests with both, but I plan on returning one of them in another week during the 30 day trial period.

If you were happy with the G30, check out the Eufy L60, which is probably the closest model to the G30. It's an improvement over the G30, with real LIDAR navigation and good app support. You can get it standalone, with a self-empty station, or with a mop. The self-empty version is $280 on Amazon right now, which is a very good deal. It doesn't have the dual rollers, but it does have a hair-cutting blade on the dock, if that was what you were concerned about with the dual roller design. Also similar: the Eufy C10, which is $230 with self-empty on Amazon. Its navigation will be a little bit worse than the L60. No dual roller brush on this one either, but it does have an extending side brush for better corner cleaning. Most of the dual roller robots I know of also include at least a stationary mop pad. You can remove the mop plate and forget it even exists; the stationary mop does not affect vacuuming performance or impose a lot of overhead, unlike the other types. If you're fine with getting a mop you don't use, a number of options arise: the Q8 you mentioned and the Dreame D20 Pro+ come to mind. But if you must have a robot with no mop and dual rollers, here's your robot: the Roborock Q5 Max+. Its only drawback: it's $500 on Amazon US. If you'd rather pay more for a robot with no mop, you can do that.

Eufy may be your best bet. Look at their C10, L60, and E20 models. As a bonus, the E20 converts into a cordless stick vac, in case you need one of those. Another good choice would be the Roborock Q5 Max+, though it tends to be a bit more expensive. Finally, consider getting a robot with a stationary pad mop. I know you said you want just a vacuum, but those are getting more and more rare over time. It's really easy to just slap a Swiffer pad on the back of a robot vacuum, so most manufacturers are doing just that. You don't pay a lot for it (and sometimes pay less!), and it's easy to leave off and pretend it doesn't exist. It also tends to not have a significant effect on vacuuming performance. A lot of options will open up if you expand your search in this way.

I'll add to the vote for the Roborock Q5 Max, but there are other alternatives: many Shark robots, plus the Eufy L50, L60, C10, and E20 models. A few models put the water tank into the mop plate, and thus do not sacrifice any dustbin space for water storage. An example would be the Roborock Q5 Pro, which is basically the Q5 Max with some cosmetic changes and a mop pad. I've seen the Pro cheaper than the Max, which means you're paying more money just for the privilege of not getting a mop; ditto for the L60 SES vs. Hybrid. So that's something to consider.

We’ve had the Eufy X10 Pro (on sale for $300) for awhile now. We really like it. But the ‘best’ will depend on your specific needs. We are all solid surface floors except for a few small area rugs and then two large high pile rugs in the master bedroom. We also have a 115lb Akbash that sheds like crazy (like more than I’ve ever seen a dog shed). My wife loves that she only spot vacuums maybe once a month when she used to vacuum twice a day. The only thing it doesn’t do that I wish it did was (1) have an extending brush to get the corners and under appliances/counters and I wish it was short enough to go under our L-shaped couch. We ended up getting a Eufy C10 ($200) specifically for our bedroom and to send into the living room to vacuum under the couch. It’s dos great but doesn’t mop.

I just got the vacuum 2 days ago. I like it slim design so it can go under my couches. I would like to see better navigation when it comes to vacuuming on carpet because because on carpet it will continue and straight lines until it bumps something. Then it will start going all over the place because it missed areas

Not iRobot. Can you stretch your budget to $250 or $300? I really really really cannot stress how nice it is to have an auto-empty base. The Eufy C10 is $250 and you can get an Ecovacs Deebot T20 for $300.

I think it’s a waste to buy a robot vacuum without an auto empty bin. You’ve gotta empty the bin every day vs every 60 days. > If I go with the Eufy C10, is there any known con on this model? In this price range there are always going to be sacrifices.

I just got a Eufy C10 today. Reasons were price, and size. I bought it on the Amazon Spring sale for $269. My house is tiny, and I wanted a small overall vacuum set up that worked efficiently, emptied itself, and was slim enough to go under furniture easily. I didn’t need a mop. I like it, it’s much quieter than my old Roomba 890. I wasn’t used to the mapping process, but now having done it once, I understand how to make a better map based on today’s experience. The C10 picks up dirt, dust and dog hair much better than I had been used to. Difficulties were small and surmountable. Documentation could be improved. As a simple example, how to release the brush guard and remove the brush end caps - they said what to do without much detail. Illustration would be better, because it’s a bit tricky if you’re unfamiliar. The app is user friendly, if you take time to get familiar with it. After one day, I’m happy with this robovac. It checks all the boxes I required.

oh to the point all I really wanted was the quietest possible robot that only vacuums and is decently fast and doesn't get stuck. and cheap so I could buy one per floor. I bought the eufy c10 and it was quiet but the sound was annoying (high pitched). is the Dream l40s ultra ae (whatever combo of letters) I ordered quiet and also not annoying? what's a cheap vacuum only robot that meets those requirements?

I just got rid of my j7+ (it was dying). I think because it's a pretty old model you can't compare reviews directly, But in my personal experience my one (dreame l40) and even the eufy c10 ($200) I had for a bit were pretty much better in every way. Especially in navigation and speed, they make the j7 look mentally challenged

I also had an older roomba that couldn’t keep up. I recently got a eufy brand one that’s self-emptying with a hair cutter. If I run it once a day, it’s usually pretty good at keeping up but if I wait more than two days, there’s too much hair and it’ll get balls of hair that cause an error with the cutter. When they’re blowing their coats I might run it twice in a day or do a little sweeping in between. I have three huskies and they’re in and out of the dog door too so plenty of dust/dirt in addition to the hair. The house is 1300 sq feet but I have it clean probably half that (open family areas) and it will have to empty two or three times during its job. I will say this one seems smarter and doesn’t get stuck as much as the roomba did.

Got a eufy with a self empty charging tower for right around 350 a few years back on a black friday sale. The thing works great! I have a st bernard, so there's LOTS of hair. Pro tip dog hair plus water on the floor will lead to build up in the self empty chamber that makes your vaccum think the bag is full. Just clean it once every three months or so, and you are golden

Eufy makes great ones and has a very easy app to use. Get one with the emptying station and you can leave it untouched for months. Be sure to follow maintenance recommendations - clean out dust bin every N hours, that sort of thing. If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes.

Gentle cleaning can make some of the parts last longer than they say - in particular the ones with soft rubber/silicone seals. I bought generic (non Eufy brand) bags for my self-emptying station and they work great.

Eufy makes a good self emptying vacuum with a built in automatic cutter for hair caught in the rolling brush. It dies a decent job of keeping up with my double coated dog who likes to shed. Bonus is once it's set up you can disconnect it from wifi and it still works. I would never get a roomba for privacy reasons.

We have Euphy. I would do another brand, I’ve had to exchange it 3 times in one year and once the warranty ended I barely use it because it’s noisy.

I made fun of robot vacs for years, assuming that people who owned them were just lazy. But I got one (Black Friday deal) the year we got new carpet and I freaking LOVE my vac. His name is Reese (from *Malcolm in the Middle*, because our vac is aggressive and stupid), and I have him go 5 days a week. I still run the big vac around the whole house to get the deeper stuff; Reese really only picks up the surface level stuff. I paid around $130 for my Anker Eufy and I feel like it was worth every penny.
