So true… After my roomba stopped working, I bought eufy e20. It can handle litter & hairballs on the floor, it also can be detached from the robot vacuum and turn it into a cordless vacuum cleaner. Here’s the hair I vacuumed off my sofa this afternoon… Choking Warning https://preview.redd.it/hhbshkp540qe1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cdbf3e7827cbf88446c2a6f828a3165d1f2aae2a
r/CatAdvice • First time trying to raise a cat: Dear cat owners, is a robot vacuum a must-have? ->Eufy E20 sounds interesting, especially the convertible feature to use it as a handheld or stick vac-perfect for pet hair. I’ve tried robot vacuums like the Roomba and Shark, which are great for their vacuum-only performance, but never experienced anything like the E20’s versatility. For pet owners like us, the multi-stage filtration is a huge plus. Since you're looking for a specific recommendation on a vacuum without a mop, I suggest checking a review site like [ConsumerRating.org](http://ConsumerRating.org) to find top-rated options that meet your needs. Anyone else have experience with the E20 or similar products?
r/RobotVacuums • Help with Vacuum Only ->"Perfect" with robot vacuums is not a thing. In all cases, you have to prioritize and compromise, even with the expensive ones. So why pay the big bucks? Honestly, if you look at an expensive robot and you don't see one or more features that jump out at you as "must haves", then I don't know why you'd pay the big bucks. There are a lot of pretty good cheap robots. I own a flagship robot: the Eufy S1 Pro, which retails for $1500, and I got on sale for $1000. In my mind, there were two big features that spoke to me: really good obstacle avoidance, and the roller mop system that cleans the mop continuously. Compromises included average to poor vacuuming performance on carpet, a bit more maintenance (due to that continuous mop cleaning feature), less good edge and corner cleaning, so-so hair tangling performance, and the price. I'm quite happy with my choice; it's met my expectations for five months now. For you, this is a pretty poor match. If you spent $1000+ on this, you'd probably be pretty disappointed, especially with those tall and fluffy carpets. I don't think the S1 Pro is particularly bad as a flagship, at least from the impressions I get from reviewers and user comments. It's possible to make a similar list of pros and cons for every flagship out there, which you've already done for a few of them. So if I were you, I'd probably start with something as cheap as you can live with, and then ask yourself what that can't do that you really need. Then start looking for robots that do those things, and ask yourself if you can live with their drawbacks. Try to get into a mindset of "paying for features" rather than "paying for perfection". Since you like the Roborock Qrevo Master, I'll point you at something to use as a baseline that's more in line with the experience you've had so far: the Roborock Q5 Max+. This should give you an improved experience over your current robot at a price that's a bit higher than what you paid. The Eufy L60 SES is also worth mentioning at this level. From there, see what upgrades look like. For example, there are two directions you can go from the Eufy L60: the Eufy C20 or E20. The C20 adds mopping and automatic mop washing, while the E20 is a better implementation of the L60 idea, along with the ability to convert to a handheld cordless vacuum. Which one of those sounds better to you? Can you live with the drawbacks? Would you be frustrated spending "that much" and having to live with "those problems"? On the Roborock side, maybe the Qrevo S is a good stopping point on your way towards the Master. Or maybe you'd want to switch vendors, and move from the Q5 Max+ to the Dreame L10s Ultra, for example. Reviews can be a problem, especially since you need to weed out both the naysayers and the sponsored shills. Reputation is probably the best thing to go by. To that end, here are a few YouTube reviewers that seem to do pretty well at being fair and balanced: * Vacuum Wars * Just A Dad * Jamie Andrews * Vacuum Chef * The French Glow * The Hook Up Hope that helps. Good luck!
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a new all in one robot vacuum under 1000€ to replace my old 2021 one ->You're not going to find a great robot that doesn't include a mop of some kind. That said, you can often find a robot where the mop is an afterthought, doesn't affect the robot's vacuuming performance much, and (most importantly) is too cheap to make much difference in the price. These will be robots with stationary (not vibrating) mop pads. That's where I'd look for a good robot vacuum where any existing mop would never be used. As for the best vacuum-only robot on the market today, I'd probably point you at the Eufy E20. The main reason: it's a convertible, in that you can remove the vacuum motor from the robot and use it as a handheld cordless vac or a cordless stick vac. Its design is much more like a handheld, which gives it a number of advantages: multiple cyclones and multi-stage filtration come to mind. It's only been out for a short time, but the reviews have been fairly positive, both for the robot part and the manual vacuum part.
r/RobotVacuums • Help with Vacuum Only ->I just got the eufy E20 3 in 1. It works really well.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum without mop option? ->As the the E10 and the E20 3-1
r/RobotVacuums • When we spend big on a robot vacuum, what differences are we mainly looking for? ->The Eufy E20 is nearly what you need with the only potential drawback is a brush roller with bristles that will get hair wrapped around it. For now features like a brush roller with proper hair detanglment systems are exclusive to higher end models. Otherwise a large dustbin with excellant filtration which also serves as a pretty good stick vacuum. I kinda dig it.
r/RobotVacuums • How do we feel about Vacuum Wars ratings? ->I was thinking E20. It is not bad tbh.
r/Roborock • All I want is a kick ass VACUUM ONLY robot with the best object detection, why can't you make this? ->The obstacle avoidance of E20 is not bad. Just a dad has released his video review, and the situation I encountered is similar to his. Sometimes it gets too close to obstacles, while other times it navigates around them quite flexibly. Overall I can give it 8/10.
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum only (no mop) robot vacuum for hardwood, tile and one low pile rug? ->Probably either the Eufy X8 Pro, or the Eufy L60. Both have two different systems to prevent that. The L60 has a blade on the base, the X8 a comb near the roller that acts midway through the cleaning program and at the base. Personally I have the Eufy X8 Pro and until now it has been working really well in preventing hair and fur accumulation (from two cats) on the roller.
r/RobotVacuums • Any good options for long pet hair, aside from the Roombas with rubber rollers? ->I also had an older roomba that couldn’t keep up. I recently got a eufy brand one that’s self-emptying with a hair cutter. If I run it once a day, it’s usually pretty good at keeping up but if I wait more than two days, there’s too much hair and it’ll get balls of hair that cause an error with the cutter. When they’re blowing their coats I might run it twice in a day or do a little sweeping in between. I have three huskies and they’re in and out of the dog door too so plenty of dust/dirt in addition to the hair. The house is 1300 sq feet but I have it clean probably half that (open family areas) and it will have to empty two or three times during its job. I will say this one seems smarter and doesn’t get stuck as much as the roomba did.
r/siberianhusky • Best robot vacuum? ->I'm a eufy enthusiast. They're quiet and affordable. We're about to upgrade to a self emptying one in our main room.
r/germanshepherds • Recommendations on a Robot Vacuum ->Eufy makes great ones and has a very easy app to use. Get one with the emptying station and you can leave it untouched for months. Be sure to follow maintenance recommendations - clean out dust bin every N hours, that sort of thing. If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes.
r/CleaningTips • Is robot vaccum worth it for those without animals that shed a lot ? And just in general for cleaning /mopping floor? ->Gentle cleaning can make some of the parts last longer than they say - in particular the ones with soft rubber/silicone seals. I bought generic (non Eufy brand) bags for my self-emptying station and they work great.
