Robot hoover, so much better than before. I have a Eufy E20 3 in 1
r/smarthome • What smart home upgrade made you say “why didn’t I do this sooner”? ->If you want a vacuum only robot, I’d look at the AEG RX9-2-4ANM https://www.robocleaners.com/en/aeg-rx9-2-4anm.html (Not an affiliate link). This robot won't ao very well tor dealing with hair and fur on the brush roller but this is the best robot vacuum if you're only considering vacuuming performance (along with the Dyson VisNav which is considerably more expensive but the thicker roller means it’s less prone to tangles). If you want an autoempty station, I’d look at the roborock S8+, Roborock Q5/Q8 Max+, or the eufy E20. If you want a combo, I'd recommend the Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2 (599), Xiaomi X20 Max (539), the Xiaomi X20 Pro (439), the Xiaomi X10+ (399) as these robots are better suited for larger homes (<60-100sqm) as it has an internal water tank so it won't need to constantly go back to the base station to clean the mops. The Xiaomi X20+ lacks an onboard water tank and must rewet the mops and can become dry when mopping before it resets it. This is generally less water efficient which is why I recommend the previous models. I’d recommend the Xiaomi X20+ for homes smaller than 50-60sqm. All of these robots are compatible with the dreame anti-tangle TriCut brush which works great with my long haired corgi’s fur and long hair in my home.
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a vacuum-mop combo for a sometimes pet household ->So true… After my roomba stopped working, I bought eufy e20. It can handle litter & hairballs on the floor, it also can be detached from the robot vacuum and turn it into a cordless vacuum cleaner. Here’s the hair I vacuumed off my sofa this afternoon… Choking Warning https://preview.redd.it/hhbshkp540qe1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cdbf3e7827cbf88446c2a6f828a3165d1f2aae2a
r/CatAdvice • First time trying to raise a cat: Dear cat owners, is a robot vacuum a must-have? ->I was most interested in the eufy e20 (already bought) and the narwal flow (waiting for June) at this year’s CES. The e20 is my first robot vacuum, and I’ve come to rely on it more than I expected. It’s super handy for instantly cleaning up after my cat’s messes.
r/RobotVacuums • About CES 2025: How many robovacs have already been released and have reviews? ->I have had it for 2 months now. I bought it liking the 2-in-1 idea. But a few things really bug me, so I am returning mine: 1. Poor battery life. In Robot mode, it would barely last 60 minutes in standard mode on carpet. I think they advertise 120. 2. The handheld is way too short and there is no way to extend because the stick uses different-shape connector. Dumb design oversight. 3. Noise - it's very loud in robot mode.
r/eufy • My review of the new Eufy 3-in-1 E20 robot vacuum ->Eufy E20 sounds interesting, especially the convertible feature to use it as a handheld or stick vac-perfect for pet hair. I’ve tried robot vacuums like the Roomba and Shark, which are great for their vacuum-only performance, but never experienced anything like the E20’s versatility. For pet owners like us, the multi-stage filtration is a huge plus. Since you're looking for a specific recommendation on a vacuum without a mop, I suggest checking a review site like [ConsumerRating.org](http://ConsumerRating.org) to find top-rated options that meet your needs. Anyone else have experience with the E20 or similar products?
r/RobotVacuums • Help with Vacuum Only ->"Perfect" with robot vacuums is not a thing. In all cases, you have to prioritize and compromise, even with the expensive ones. So why pay the big bucks? Honestly, if you look at an expensive robot and you don't see one or more features that jump out at you as "must haves", then I don't know why you'd pay the big bucks. There are a lot of pretty good cheap robots. I own a flagship robot: the Eufy S1 Pro, which retails for $1500, and I got on sale for $1000. In my mind, there were two big features that spoke to me: really good obstacle avoidance, and the roller mop system that cleans the mop continuously. Compromises included average to poor vacuuming performance on carpet, a bit more maintenance (due to that continuous mop cleaning feature), less good edge and corner cleaning, so-so hair tangling performance, and the price. I'm quite happy with my choice; it's met my expectations for five months now. For you, this is a pretty poor match. If you spent $1000+ on this, you'd probably be pretty disappointed, especially with those tall and fluffy carpets. I don't think the S1 Pro is particularly bad as a flagship, at least from the impressions I get from reviewers and user comments. It's possible to make a similar list of pros and cons for every flagship out there, which you've already done for a few of them. So if I were you, I'd probably start with something as cheap as you can live with, and then ask yourself what that can't do that you really need. Then start looking for robots that do those things, and ask yourself if you can live with their drawbacks. Try to get into a mindset of "paying for features" rather than "paying for perfection". Since you like the Roborock Qrevo Master, I'll point you at something to use as a baseline that's more in line with the experience you've had so far: the Roborock Q5 Max+. This should give you an improved experience over your current robot at a price that's a bit higher than what you paid. The Eufy L60 SES is also worth mentioning at this level. From there, see what upgrades look like. For example, there are two directions you can go from the Eufy L60: the Eufy C20 or E20. The C20 adds mopping and automatic mop washing, while the E20 is a better implementation of the L60 idea, along with the ability to convert to a handheld cordless vacuum. Which one of those sounds better to you? Can you live with the drawbacks? Would you be frustrated spending "that much" and having to live with "those problems"? On the Roborock side, maybe the Qrevo S is a good stopping point on your way towards the Master. Or maybe you'd want to switch vendors, and move from the Q5 Max+ to the Dreame L10s Ultra, for example. Reviews can be a problem, especially since you need to weed out both the naysayers and the sponsored shills. Reputation is probably the best thing to go by. To that end, here are a few YouTube reviewers that seem to do pretty well at being fair and balanced: * Vacuum Wars * Just A Dad * Jamie Andrews * Vacuum Chef * The French Glow * The Hook Up Hope that helps. Good luck!
r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a new all in one robot vacuum under 1000€ to replace my old 2021 one ->You're not going to find a great robot that doesn't include a mop of some kind. That said, you can often find a robot where the mop is an afterthought, doesn't affect the robot's vacuuming performance much, and (most importantly) is too cheap to make much difference in the price. These will be robots with stationary (not vibrating) mop pads. That's where I'd look for a good robot vacuum where any existing mop would never be used. As for the best vacuum-only robot on the market today, I'd probably point you at the Eufy E20. The main reason: it's a convertible, in that you can remove the vacuum motor from the robot and use it as a handheld cordless vac or a cordless stick vac. Its design is much more like a handheld, which gives it a number of advantages: multiple cyclones and multi-stage filtration come to mind. It's only been out for a short time, but the reviews have been fairly positive, both for the robot part and the manual vacuum part.
r/RobotVacuums • Help with Vacuum Only ->The E20 can be a good choice. There are a few independent reviews out there; I'd especially recommend the reviews by Just A Dad and The Hook Up on YouTube. Things to consider: * The stick vacuum is short, so less comfortable for tall folks to use. * The auto-empty process for the stick vacuum is a little fiddly. * The attachments aren't as flexible as they could be. The main issue is that the floor head cannot be attached to the motor without the stick part, making it more difficult to use to clean stairs. I saw your post about the "set" vs. "non-set"; that's terminology I've never heard of before. Sometimes, the sales are weird that way. I suspect they've got more inventory of one option than the other, and want to clear up space in the warehouse.
r/RobotVacuums • Gizmodo's review of Eureka E20 plus and advice seeking ->I just got the eufy E20 3 in 1. It works really well.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum without mop option? ->As the the E10 and the E20 3-1
r/RobotVacuums • When we spend big on a robot vacuum, what differences are we mainly looking for? ->The Eufy E20 is nearly what you need with the only potential drawback is a brush roller with bristles that will get hair wrapped around it. For now features like a brush roller with proper hair detanglment systems are exclusive to higher end models. Otherwise a large dustbin with excellant filtration which also serves as a pretty good stick vacuum. I kinda dig it.
r/RobotVacuums • How do we feel about Vacuum Wars ratings? ->I was thinking E20. It is not bad tbh.
r/Roborock • All I want is a kick ass VACUUM ONLY robot with the best object detection, why can't you make this? ->Honestly as long as you’re fine with cleaning the roller brushes of hair every so often, there’s no need to over think it. Tons of good options. If I was buying, I’d get the eufy e20 unless you already have a good stick vacuum.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me find a robot vaccuum on a budget. ->The obstacle avoidance of E20 is not bad. Just a dad has released his video review, and the situation I encountered is similar to his. Sometimes it gets too close to obstacles, while other times it navigates around them quite flexibly. Overall I can give it 8/10.
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum only (no mop) robot vacuum for hardwood, tile and one low pile rug? ->Some are available: Roborock’s Saros, Ecovacs’ new mopping robot, and Eufy’s 3-in-1 detachable robot vacuum. As for the robotic arms, only Roborock has started pre-orders in mainland China, no news from other regions yet. I bought the Eufy E20 for my tool room. The robot vacuum handles floor, and the other accessories clean tools and wall dust. I’m really happy with it.
r/RobotVacuums • About CES 2025: How many robovacs have already been released and have reviews? ->Eufy was kind enough to send me their newest Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20. They sent this to me at no cost, but I was asked to provide an honest review, and my opinion remains unbiased. I’ve been using this vacuum daily for almost 2 weeks now, and I’m going to give you my real world, honest thoughts. #First Impression: At first, I was skeptical. I didn’t think a product with so many features could excel in all of them. ‘Jack of all trades, master of none,’ came to mind. Thankfully, I was proven wrong. #Design & Build Quality: Putting this much into a single product is truly impressive, and I’m blown away by the engineering and the design of this robot. The build quality is fantastic, and everything feels very premium and solid. The vacuum itself when pulled out of the robot isn’t too heavy, but it does have a bit of heft to it. The weight though is compensated by its strength. In its handheld form, it’s truly remarkable, but I’ll get more into this later. #Setup: The setup couldn’t be easier. Just plug the base in and place the robot in the base and you’re good to go. The instructions are easy to understand and very simple. No real assembly is needed apart from installing the side brush onto the robot. I was done setting the robot up from unboxing in under 10 minutes. #Performance & Functionality: #Robot: The robot mode exceeded my expectations. Its navigation system is outstanding, using LiDAR technology to map and clean efficiently. It handles edges first, then methodically cleans the rest of the area. Unlike many other robots, it rarely bumps into objects, protecting both your furniture and the robot itself. The self-emptying feature is another standout—it’s quick, effective, and ensures the robot is always ready for the next job. I also appreciate the visible dust bin, which reassures me that it’s working as intended and serves as a helpful indicator for manual emptying when needed. #Handheld: I didn’t expect much from the handheld mode due to its compact design, but I was pleasantly surprised. The suction power is remarkable, adjustable with the press of a button for more demanding tasks. It’s perfect for cleaning areas the robot can’t reach, such as baseboards. I’ve even used it to clean my truck’s interior. The convenience of manual or self-emptying options for the dust bin adds to its versatility. #Stick Vacuum: The stick vacuum is one of the most impressive parts to me. If this product was just a standalone cordless stick vacuum, I’d already be thoroughly impressed. The stick part of the vacuum itself is a very solid metal construction. The roller brush is powered by a robust motor, effectively handling particles of all sizes. The roller is easily removable for maintenance. The brush itself is covered in a helical pattern of bristles that really does the job. The vacuum can get extremely flat as well, meaning I’m able to get far underneath furniture in places my other conventional vacuums couldn’t even go without moving the furniture itself. It swivels around effortlessly, and, in this mode, it feels extremely lightweight and maneuverable. My only critique is the lack of storage for the stick vacuum on the base station. #Noise Level: The noise level varies depending on which suction mode you’ve got it set to, but I have no complaints. The loudest function is the dust bin emptying, but that only lasts for a few seconds. I have no complaints here. #Final Thoughts: Eufy truly raised the bar for robot vacuums with the E20. As someone who was initially skeptical, I’m impressed by how well this 3-in-1 device performs in each mode. Its thoughtful design, user-friendly features, and exceptional versatility make it a standout product. From floors to hard-to-reach areas and furniture, the E20 has become my go-to cleaning device. If you’re in the market for a multi-functional vacuum, this is a must-have. It’s a solid 10/10 from me.
r/eufy • My review of the new Eufy 3-in-1 E20 robot vacuum ->I also had an older roomba that couldn’t keep up. I recently got a eufy brand one that’s self-emptying with a hair cutter. If I run it once a day, it’s usually pretty good at keeping up but if I wait more than two days, there’s too much hair and it’ll get balls of hair that cause an error with the cutter. When they’re blowing their coats I might run it twice in a day or do a little sweeping in between. I have three huskies and they’re in and out of the dog door too so plenty of dust/dirt in addition to the hair. The house is 1300 sq feet but I have it clean probably half that (open family areas) and it will have to empty two or three times during its job. I will say this one seems smarter and doesn’t get stuck as much as the roomba did.
r/siberianhusky • Best robot vacuum? ->I'm a eufy enthusiast. They're quiet and affordable. We're about to upgrade to a self emptying one in our main room.
r/germanshepherds • Recommendations on a Robot Vacuum ->Eufy makes great ones and has a very easy app to use. Get one with the emptying station and you can leave it untouched for months. Be sure to follow maintenance recommendations - clean out dust bin every N hours, that sort of thing. If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes.
r/CleaningTips • Is robot vaccum worth it for those without animals that shed a lot ? And just in general for cleaning /mopping floor? ->Gentle cleaning can make some of the parts last longer than they say - in particular the ones with soft rubber/silicone seals. I bought generic (non Eufy brand) bags for my self-emptying station and they work great.
