I have 2 eufy hoovers, a wee l35 and an x10 pro omni. The wee one does a good enough job of the upstairs carpets, and the x10 is an absolute life saver for downstairs hard floors & living room mat. Mine run once in the morning and once in the evening. Ive got 2 pets & 2 teenagers in the house too lol I would say definitely worth it :) I had a problem with my x10 and the return and replacement took a few weeks which was annoying but it was easy (parcel collect and delivered, i didnt have to go trekking to the post office) and the online help messages were very clear and quick at updating what was happening Battery life wise - my x10 runs on max vacuum and water for ~2hours with no issue :)

I'm struggling because I don't want a mop, I just want a vacuum. I have a Eufy L35+ Hybrid now (which was a refurbished replacement for a previous Eufy that died) and I don't use the mopping feature. I have hardwood floors that I don't trust a robot mopping and also have a large area rug that is pretty thick so it has to be able to roll up onto the carpet from the floor as well. The Eufy tends to drop off WiFi for no reason and also has been squeaking now despite cleaning everything, replacing all the brushes, and lubing the swivel wheel. So I think it is time to retire it and replace it with something that is hopefully much better. Having something that doesn't get hair tangled around the brushes would be a huge plus (no pets, but have long hair that sheds.)

I have a eufy l35, it's mostly pretty good. We still need to manually vacuum occasionally but it does a decent job of keeping down the daily detritus, especially from pets. I wouldn't get anything that doesn't do mapping. We originally got a cheaper bump navigate model and it was incessantly getting stuck. I consider laser mapping to be an absolute must.

I got the Eufy hybrid and it mops, as a lightning deal on amazon. Now I cant live without it. Never thought I’d care for a mop. It helps so much, saves my messed up back and saves hubbs’ lungs/allergies. It removes all my old lady shedding hair and that of my cats.

We bought our Eufy robo vac/mop last June, since then it's cleaned: 428 Times 317h3m 158380 ft² I would say that the investment was more than worthwhile.

I have 2 eufy mop + vacs and a regular shark. I think they’re amazing! They’re like little drunk robots that get into situations. If I had the dough I’d go for one that empties automatically.

I've got a Eufy which runs at 2am every other day. It has Lidar so it can work in the dark. Every couple days I make sure the floors are tidy which is its own benefit. Context of the house - Downstairs is hardwood with a massive rug in the living room. Upstairs is carpeted. Got two kids under 5 years old and a dog who sheds. It can store multiple maps, so twice a week I'll take it upstairs to do its thing while I'm downstairs having breakfast. I've got a base station which it empties in to once done. The only issue I have is the base station is downstairs, so once it's finished upstairs it'll wander around aimlessly for a while looking for a base station which doesn't exist.

I've got a eufy with lidar and it's amazing. It helps with having 2 dogs especially.

We have Euphy. I would do another brand, I’ve had to exchange it 3 times in one year and once the warranty ended I barely use it because it’s noisy.

I made fun of robot vacs for years, assuming that people who owned them were just lazy. But I got one (Black Friday deal) the year we got new carpet and I freaking LOVE my vac. His name is Reese (from *Malcolm in the Middle*, because our vac is aggressive and stupid), and I have him go 5 days a week. I still run the big vac around the whole house to get the deeper stuff; Reese really only picks up the surface level stuff. I paid around $130 for my Anker Eufy and I feel like it was worth every penny.

r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->
