Yes the EufL60 does have "anti drop sensors" [source](https://support.eufy.com/s/article/eufy-Clean-L60-User-Guide-T2267) For its current price ($199) it is pretty good value. Just note that the hair cutting feature seems to be a hit or miss. For around 350 you can also consider the dreame L10s Ultra i believe its on sale on amazon now. Has a tricut brush that does well with hair too FWIW I recently did an analysis on reddit data on robot vacuums. Basically ranked them according to aggregated sentiment (in the past year). Maybe you'll find the results helpful [https://redditrecs.com/robot-vacuum/](https://redditrecs.com/robot-vacuum/) You can filter by price, for comments about pets or long hair and get a breakdown of what ppl have said about the most often recommended ones (disclaimer some links are affiliate they help fund the analyses)
There are robotic vacs that cut the hair off the roller. I have a Eufy L60 and it's been doing a pretty damned good job. I still have to cut excess hair off the roller weekly (two long haired humans, two long hair cats and a long hair dog). Search for the features you need (auto hair cutting, auto empty, hard and carpet floors, wet and dry, whatever).
I currently own a Eufy L60 and quite frankly it’s lacking in it’s ability to pickup all the cat litter around the house that the cat’s drag with them. It does a decent job for the most part, but it never completely sucks up all the little pieces of litter, so bottom line it’s not functioning for the main purpose of keeping the house clean. Only vacuuming manually myself get’s rid of all the litter. I have a hard time finding people online mentioning the ability of models for picking up pine cat litter and was wondering if anyone owns a robot vacuum that does a good job at this. I’m prepared to spend more money than I did with the Eufy but would prefer not having to pay €1000+ for a top model. Could someone help me out here?
#winning. Randomly purchased a eufy l60! Whoop
Eufy L60 with self emptying bin - have a chocolate lab that sheds pine needles 24x7. Worth every penny!
I have a Dreame L50s Pro Ultra for down stairs, which is all tile with the occasional low pile rug. It does the hoovering and mopping. I have a Eufy L60 for upstairs which is a mix of carpet and laminate. It only hoovers. We have both robots set on schedule to do their jobs at 5pm when we're usually not in the house (as we're out walking the dog). The Eufy model is around 200e. The Dreame model is around 600e.
