My roidmi eve plus is now 3 and a bit years old, my eufy 15c just under 3 years. Replaced the battery on my roidmi about 3 months ago. I think they do kind of have a technology lifespan as the robot you buy today is likely to be outdated in a few years

I use Eufy brand robot vacuums. They do a good job for surface level daily cleaning but will not replace an old fashioned hand vacuum. I have a cat and a dog so the robot makes my life easier. If you're single and no pets it might not make a big enough difference.

Yes! When my robot vacuum died I had to take the big one out every other day. When the robot is going I only need a weekly vacuum with the big guy

I have a eufy and have had a brilliant experience with it - though I deliberately didn’t want a vacuum that also mops because that’s too many parts to bother with. Mine has done my carpet beautifully since Easter 2023, no regrets. I just do a quick run around to make sure cables aren’t in the way.y parents have bought them too and also love theirs.

I had a Eufy but I gave it away. Didn't clean hardwood floors well and was always harming itself or my stuff. It was kind of like letting a toddler loose with a vacuum.

I've got a coupe of Eufy models, 1 upstairs (15c) and 1 downstairs (x8). I have multiple dogs, and having the robot run every single day with minimal effort on my part is great, but it does not do as good of a job as a human-operated upright vac. So, I still have to vacuum everything every week anyway, but the place is a lot, lot, lot cleaner between my manual vacuums. Other people are saying to get the self-emptying models, but I'm not sold on that. Reason being, about every third day I have to flip my eufys over and cut off a bunch of dog hair from the roller. So I'm already handling it all the time to clean the roller, so emptying the bin is no big deal. If I just ignore the roller, it starts to just 'bale' the fur instead of picking it up. There's no integration I can get to work between HA and these Eufy devices, I just operate them via manufacturer app on my phone.

Big mood. I've got the cheapest one, BoostIQ Robovac 15C MAX and it's great. It's dumb as a brick and bumbles round my living room until it gets stuck on something. Other than being internet connected so I can start/stop it with an app it's not got any other smart features so I'm not worried about taking pictures of my ankles and sharing them or whatever.

Yes, I have a eufy because I have two dogs. It doesn't really replace cleaning your floors entirely, but it kind of extends the time between deep cleanings being necessary, if that makes sense.

I spent like $100 on a Eufy C15 max or something like that (forget the exact designation) and, although it uses dumb bounce-navigation instead of the lidar i'd typically prefer, it's far exceeded the low expectations I had, and has cut down on our need to constantly pull out the 'real' vacuum. Have two dogs and one of them seemingly sheds enough weekly to be able knit a sweater from it. Run it every day in the early evening and it does fine, gets under beds and couches well too. Only really complaint is that it can get trapped in rooms pretty easily if doors arent fully propped open, but thats due to the dumb navigation and at the price point I knew what I'd be getting haha. Been happy enough with it that it's made me really want to explore the better/fancier robot vacuums and see what else they're capable of, something with self-cleaning and mopping would be stellar - all wood floors - but hard to justify the $500-$2000 splurge on a nice robovac that has all that

All I can say is I had my Eufy 15C Max vacuum for quite some time (almost four years), and then they came out with the: # eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro [https://www.eufy.com/products/t2080111](https://www.eufy.com/products/t2080111) on Kickstarter and I had been doing all sorts of research on the solutions. And out of all of the version, this one got me excited. Additionally, not only did I get the reduced price - but I also got it further reduced with the accessories package and saved an additional £100 before purchase. What do I think of it? It is pretty amazing when I compare it to the old bounce-alot 15C Max, it has been a dream. Th only challenge is the maintenance of the materials - you gotta clean the dirt trap, the water tanks are pretty good for an entire month for my flat, and I have yet to use up the cleaning fluid after almost eight months. I can not say it is perfect - it does have its hangups with shoelaces and other material getting caught (like a piece of wet paper stopped the roller), but its maintenance has been a dream for the most part. I will say I love the fact that since I have had it, the floor never feels dirty - and I live near a main city road and grime will appear naturally. And just wait until it is pollen season - but my Omni get the job done. And yes, for FIVE more days - it is on serious sale ($500 off at the website).

The issue I had with the 15C Max was the cleaning quality and frequency of cleaning the bin. It had one of the largest bins but was on the bang-about-the-room mechanism of cleaning. I loved the spare parts I could get an repaired it over the years as parts wore out. But, over the years, I also wanted the mopping feature since I like the floor to not have the grime that would come in from the windows. At the Kickstarter price, I was happy to use it versus the other spinning mops (nice but lots of maintenance to clean them), scoot rags (low performance and frequent maintenance) or any other solution. This is the only one I saw doing a spinning roller to clean the floor. And I loved the low profile without a LIDAR (tank turret) on the top of the device. So, for double what I paid for the 15C Max those years ago, I have been quite happy with the device so far.
