i’ve been using the Eufy RoboVac 15C MAX for a while now, and it works pretty well for pet hair on hardwood
I spent like $100 on a Eufy C15 max or something like that (forget the exact designation) and, although it uses dumb bounce-navigation instead of the lidar i'd typically prefer, it's far exceeded the low expectations I had, and has cut down on our need to constantly pull out the 'real' vacuum. Have two dogs and one of them seemingly sheds enough weekly to be able knit a sweater from it. Run it every day in the early evening and it does fine, gets under beds and couches well too. Only really complaint is that it can get trapped in rooms pretty easily if doors arent fully propped open, but thats due to the dumb navigation and at the price point I knew what I'd be getting haha. Been happy enough with it that it's made me really want to explore the better/fancier robot vacuums and see what else they're capable of, something with self-cleaning and mopping would be stellar - all wood floors - but hard to justify the $500-$2000 splurge on a nice robovac that has all that
Hello! I’d like to know what the best recommendations are for a robot vacuum that is good for sand and litter. I surf and track sand in the house and also have a cat. I live in a two story condo and it would stay downstairs but would probably go upstairs on an on need basis. All hardwood except in kitchen and bathroom that are tile. A few washable rugs in the house as well. Mop isn’t necessary. I previously had a Eufy I think 15c (the one with two spinning side brushes) and I thought it was pretty good! That was in 2016 and I feel like the game has changed since then. Under $500 or $250 if you can! Thanks for your help!
If you just want a slim, no-nonsense robot with solid suction and predictable navigation — not all the fancy mopping gimmicks — then at around 300 CAD I would say your safest bets are the Eufy 11S/15C Max for pure simplicity or the Roborock E4/E5 if you want slightly better mapping and stronger pickup. Just double-check the dock supports 100–240V, buy from someone with hassle-free returns, and grab a small stash of side brushes and filters so you’re not stuck waiting on replacements later.
I have an OG eufy vacuum that I have rebuilt like 3 times over 5 years now. They sure take a beating but we run it basically every day sometimes twice in our downstairs (900sqft give or take). This thing changed my life, I feel like I don't even think about vacuuming anymore.
Yes. 100%. I have one on each floor and a eufy robo-vacuum that is on a timer.
