I bought a wonderful low tech robovac, a eufy 25c, and I love Alice so much (Brady Bunch character). I hate vacuuming as much as my cats hate it, but none of us hates the robovac. I will tidy up so I can run the robovac. I like to do cleaning with her because it's nicer with a friend. It's less noisy, as well. I got a robovac a few years ago when I was thinking of getting a cordless vac like everyone on YouTube. I finally asked myself if I would vacuum more with a cordless vac or would it make any difference? Then I asked Google that question and found an article that said just get a robovac. Same price and you will thank me for it. You better believe it was one of the best decisions of my life. My favorite appliance that makes my quality of life better!
Hol-up. 1. Those prices? Are you only looking at Roombas and iRobots? Because if so that is 99 percent of the problem. I have a Eufy 25c I bought for $140 on sale about 2-3 years ago (now it's $115 on clearance) and it's very awesome. Does it pick up everything? No not fully. Does it get into mischief? Yeah. It's a robovac. But it works well and for Eufy anyway, you can go on walmart's website and literally find all kinds of replacement parts for cheap. Roombas and iRobots are known for being expensive in general and not very good. I bought a $10 pack of rollers, sweepers, and filters off amazon for it and haven't looked back. I love my little robovac.
I inherited an Eufy RoboVac 35c that constantly trips with cliff sensor error. All IR leds are visible on camera and the sensors are clean. The error occurs on several different surfaces (ceramic tiles, oak and thin area rugs, all without dark areas.
I have an OG eufy vacuum that I have rebuilt like 3 times over 5 years now. They sure take a beating but we run it basically every day sometimes twice in our downstairs (900sqft give or take). This thing changed my life, I feel like I don't even think about vacuuming anymore.
Yes. 100%. I have one on each floor and a eufy robo-vacuum that is on a timer.
I’m a new owner of the Eufy E28 but I did a lot of internet research beforehand. The main difference from the E25 is that the top half of the base of the E28 detaches and functions as a portable deep cleaner (not really a vacuum, more like for carpets and fabric furniture). A couple other more subtle differences is that the E28 accepts any detergent rather than needing to purchase a proprietary box, and supposedly the E28 dust emptying sound is much louder than the E25 (I can confirm it is \*very loud\*). I believe they are basically identical otherwise. The dirty water dripping thing was fixed a while ago by an update to the dirty water tank on the robot. I believe if you buy a new unit now it should not be a problem. I bought the E28 because I also have solely hardwood floors (and 2 dogs), and really wanted good mopping ability. I read online that the roller style mop is the best for this. So far in the last week that I’ve had it, the color of the water in the dirty water tank has been rather eye-opening lol. So I think it’s working!
