I got a 30c to see if they were any good and was impressed. Then got an x8 which was a real upgrade. Picks up more dust and fur than the original

We have had our eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30 for 6 years. We just put in our 3rd battery and 2nd beater brush. It doesn’t have or need a smartphone app, doesn’t map. Just empty it out every few hours of operation.

Yeah, it’s fine. Maybe worth pointing out that we have hard floors & rugs wall to wall and care mostly about dust & debris. I haven’t asked it to clean shag carpet.

Oh, and we put googly eyes on ours. Yours doesn’t have to have googly eyes, but if you’re lucky it will.

Are they being discontinued? Looks like Wyze was selling them for $99 on their site (with no returns accepted) and they are out of stock. From various comments I have read online it seems support is lacking, which is making me wonder if they are done with the robo vact? Amazon is still selling it for $200 FWIW. I bought a Eufy 30C a number of years ago that I'm trying to replace.

I see it on Amazon right now (and walmart) - so if it was gone, it's back now. Wyze had it on sale for $99 on their site, I wonder if they are discontinuing it? I have a Eufy Robovac 30 that I bought 6 or 7 years back that I'd like to replace, so I've been looking at this one.

Yup, same conclusion here. Like you I also already have some other Wyze devices, so this would be an easy addition. And I'm also looking for something affordable, i.e., no more than $200. I think I would have picked one up for $99, but given the uncertainty of future support etc I'm not going to pay Amazon $200 for this and I think I'll be looking elsewhere too. LIDAR/room mapping would be nice compared to the random wandering my Eufy does :) Did you get a different robovac? If so, which one? Or are you still in a holding pattern?

just doing some research myself for new one. eufy 30c, lasted almost 4 years on the dot, I could probably strip it apart and give it iso bath but i think its time to replace old af, worked on morning shift just fine with minimal maintenance, great for hard floor pet hair, the base sucked, and needed a bunch of room around it and ideally be held in place somehow otherwise robot would move it. never used app if it had one, main quirk about it was strict wifi requirements, it needed 802.11b/g 2.4ghz, it wouldnt work otherwise, whatever wifi chip it had was very old. the sweepers needed replacing every year but are cheap to get and came with a set spare. got it on some amazon promo, after discounts ended up as £113 eufy l60 seems like an easy upgrade but looking at the new q10 roborock s5, seems to be well reviewed around same price

What kind of floors do you have, layout of the house etc. I have laminate flooring and my 30c Max picks up loads each day from my cats. Doesnts have mapping though so just goes in a mad very random pattern. Not up and down the room. Also mine doesn't have a self emptying station so have to manually empty it's dust bin each day or 2

We have Euphy. I would do another brand, I’ve had to exchange it 3 times in one year and once the warranty ended I barely use it because it’s noisy.

I made fun of robot vacs for years, assuming that people who owned them were just lazy. But I got one (Black Friday deal) the year we got new carpet and I freaking LOVE my vac. His name is Reese (from *Malcolm in the Middle*, because our vac is aggressive and stupid), and I have him go 5 days a week. I still run the big vac around the whole house to get the deeper stuff; Reese really only picks up the surface level stuff. I paid around $130 for my Anker Eufy and I feel like it was worth every penny.
