"It works great with long hair and long haired corgi fur in my home. This is absolutely tangle free in my use and the correct cover can stop hair from going to the sides."

"I run the X10 daily on schedules, and it has never been stuck even for once, isnt that amazing? The navigation and obstacle avoidance is truly amazing. It is almost a true set and go experience."

"It also doesn’t bump into stuff, slows down and turns around before running into anything. I am impressed. ... The navigation is night and day between this and J9+, no more bumping or getting lost. ... I think it’s better, it has the front facing camera which looks to be higher resolution, plus the LiDAR does make a huge difference to the speed of navigation, plus it doesn’t bump into furniture or doors anymore."

"The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."

"I have really long hair and two Belgian Malinoises that spend half their day in their kiddie pool (one is a double long coat). My vacuum Walleee is amazing and joke that I'm in love with a robot lol."

"The pockets of fur from my chihuahua is gone."

"Whatever your choice getting the "spinning mop" feature. ... A world of diff compared the older "drag mop" system. ... Wouldn't ever do without one."

"It’s a 2500 sqft building with polished concrete floors. I have it do a double mopping pass on all of the main areas over night and then I send it to specified rooms throughout the day as needed. Works great!"

"my floors have never been this clean before!!"

"The tricut brush which you can purchase and install does a excellent job preventing hair wrap but I have found it is significantly less effective on hard floors. ... It seems to do fine in most cases but I did notice the robot fails to pick up medium sized debris like cat treats. ... Yesterday I did some drywall patching and had some drywall chunks and pieces for the robot to pickup and the tricut brush just pushed the debris around and accumulated it in the brush guard failing to push it into the dustbin. ... It would appear to pick it up but when the robot turned around all the debris would be left at the spot where the robot turned."

"The eufy X10 Pro Omni has reduced suction power ... is much worse than the eufy Omni E25 while not being much cheaper. ... That's probably the reason why some people say to stay away from it."

"It does a terrible job with getting close to the wall and collecting debri and dust."

"The battery on the Roomba sucks. ... It vacuumed the living room only and it needed to be charged. ... It’s been charging for 2 hours and still only at 30%. ... One room only is insane to me"

"now it takes 10 times longer to clean the house. ... What used to be a passive cleaning job while we were out has turned into an hours-long session that runs during peak time when everyone’s home, which completely defeats the purpose."

"The battery was stuck at 93% charge, once again customer service told me to reboot. ... I have literally reboot the robot about 8 times since I bought it a week ago, not exaggerating! ... They said it was a bug."

"The software, specifically, is trash and remained trash up until it died. ... From firmware breaking mopping usage to maps "magically" expanding zones on its own, while failing to go to a previously occupied spot after the obstacle was removed (ex. left a laundry basket on the floor when it mapped, moved the basket and it would "see" that it was no longer there, but never actually vacuum that space.)"

"Home Assistant support isn't great. ... There's an integration with very basic support here: [https://github.com/jeppesens/eufy-clean]"

"the app was awful when it first started making the maps. ... Sometimes the maps would just go missing and I’d have to map again."

"I tried increasing the suction to reduce the constant hair tangling, but the tangles still happened, and now it takes 10 times longer to clean the house. ... What used to be a passive cleaning job while we were out has turned into an hours-long session that runs during peak time when everyone’s home, which completely defeats the purpose."

"it just can’t cope with the long hair ... the small roller brushes that fit in these robovac cases just aren’t able to stay tangle-free with the super long hair."

"It does a poor job with hair ... I tried increasing the suction to reduce the constant hair tangling, but the tangles still happened ... my cheap Shark vacuum handled hair way better."

"sounded like a loud squeaky balloon. ... Every time I shifted weight or switched sides it was loud. ... Even someone walking by looked at me and said “that’s really noisy”."

"The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears"

"It ’s super loud ... Noise at least on hardwood is easily double the qrevo"

I also got the Eufy X10 during Prime day and love it. Do you use a cleaner on your floors? I have it mopping with water and am hesitant to put a cleaner in the water as I have hardwood floors and a dog. Thoughts?

I agree with this having owned both. I had to return the x10 last year due to battery issues (after replacements sent by eufy) and the mops were making a weird noise which was the breaking point. Currently have the E25 and very happy with it.

Thank you for helping out! It is definitely overwhelming out there. 1. 1200sqft with hardwood floors. Will remove kitchen and bathroom mats. 2. One 3. No transition 4. No pets. Just human long hair. 5. Toddler; toys are always put back in playpen. 6. Mostly dust, some food particles. 7. Less than $1000 CAD Live in Canada. Used eufy x10 pro for several months last year but had to return it after two replacements (battery and mop issues). Mopping is important, so want to upgrade to a roller mop style. Interested in eufy E25, ecovacs T80 omni, ecovacs X8 pro omni just to stay under my budget but open to other options in Canada. Thanks for your time!

Our Eufy x10 pro, has been working wonders across our downstairs for about a year now. Just keep a supply of mop pads to swap out every now and again.

We got the Eufy x10 pro during the prime sale on Amazon Germany (as it was way cheaper then) it has changed everything. we nick named it Floornet, and floornet goes out every night. When the youngest destroys the place with food, just send it around that part. Our's is all tile but we have a runner at the back door and hallway and never have a issue with it. Amazon France have it for €616 but only one is stock. Amazon Germany won't ship it to ireland now.

I find the mop great. no issues at all. we have a bit of difference between the hall and sitting room. We got wooden floor down a few weeks back and it deals with is no issue. As for what I paid....€533.04. I got it through my amazon Germany business account with prime (also got two bottle of eufy cleaner free as well)

Expecting anything for £100 is extremely hopeful in 2024. I bought a £500 Eufy and it is excellent. Hoovers, mops, maps and avoids. Can be scheduled or set going when I'm out. Empties and cleans itself.

I had the Eufy X10 Pro Omni, and while its hardware was great, the software was a disaster. Each firmware update made it more and more unreliable and glitchy, until I got fed up and returned it. I cannot imagine the software of the E28 being any better, but don't have first-hand experience with it.

Yeah, my observations are identical. We recently started looking at robot vacuums, after we returned our Eufy X10 Pro Omni, and it seemed as if every single model has issues, yes, plural :D We ended up getting the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra and albeit it's doing a pretty good job, it suffers from the issue where it randomly drops its mop pads and I have to re-attach them manually. We worked around this by having the robot not leave them at the station while vacuuming. Oh well.

I had the X10 Pro Omni and it was great, but it’s software went downhill after a certain version and the robot became pretty much unusable. I ended up swapping it for a Dreame L40s Pro Ultra and never looked back. Granted, the Dreame was €200 more, but it’s money well spent.

We got a Dreame L40s Pro Ultra for 749 EUR and it's been awesome. I was also looking at the Mova V50 (Pro / Ultra / Whatever), but it was about 200 EUR more, so I decided against it. Roborock Saros 10r also seems to get good reviews, but it too is on the more expensive side. P.S. We used to have the Eufy X10 Pro Omni, but their firmware turned out to be complete garbage and we returned it for a full refund.

Many people complain of Eufy's support too. I used to own a X10 Pro Omni and had good experience with them, but the overall sentiment is that their support is terrible. You will not find a single brand that people are entirely happy with, that's for sure.

I just got the x10 and I really like it! It does a pretty good job picking up things other robo vacuums struggled with (like cat litter). It does leave behind smaller dust particles but I’m a clean freak and am used to my Dyson vacuum and its head attachment with the green LED beam lol. The mop feature also works pretty well for general cleaning, although struggles with larger stains if they’ve dried a bit. EDIT: I think there might still be a promo right now on amazon to get it for $550 if you’re a Prime member and apply a coupon code from CNET (I think it’s eufyx10pro)

# [Under $300](https://amzn.to/48R0G4J) Generally speaking, I think its rare you find a great robot at this price, and I've discussed why there's some sense in [not spending the money on real discount robots](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/). Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the [K10+ Pro](https://lifehacker.com/tech/switchbot-k10-plus-robot-vacuum-review) on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. I, personally, do not enjoy Eufy models, and on the whole, [did not enjoy the E20](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufys-e20-robot-vacuum-ces-2025). I thought it was clunky and not particularly great at any of the 3 things it was trying to do, but people in this sub LOVE Eufy, so at this price point, if you're so determined, this is the one I'd get. In a similar vein, if you love Roborock, a brand I usually recommend highly, I usually think you should grab the most expensive one you can afford (with some exceptions). In this case, its the Q10 X5+, which is the least expensive RR model with auto empty. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_ZETGMH20VCWTGQZB8K55)|399.99|199.99|50%| |[3i G10+ (Extra 5% off code: G10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/FVNUE2WZGPL6?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_2)|449.99|229.99|49%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20](https://amzn.to/4oi284o)|449.99|297.49|34%| |[Roborock Q10 X5+](https://amzn.to/4pDZjfb)|499.99|299.99|40%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* The [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eurekas-j15-pro-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review) is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. Rarely got stuck on anything or reported errors, and it was just really reliable. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L40 Ultra is a great deal at half off, and I thought it did a great job getting into spaces, but wasn't great at mapping originally when[ I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-l40-ultra-robot-vacuum-review). But it was a damn good vacuum, and a pretttty ok mop. if you find that take disappointing, at this price point, you're still asking a lot of a robot, so set expectations appropriately. I mention the Ecovacs T30S for the same reason as the Eufy 3-in-1. Altho I found it a bit of a pain to put away attachments each time you wanted to use the handheld, I can see the advantage of having a combo unit instead of separate stick and robot. And, [in my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-t30s-combo-review), I did think both did a relatively good job, and the sale on this unit is hard to ignore. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* Get the X10 Pro Omni. it was the first Eufy in a while [I didn't hate](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review), it was actually pretty decent. Its a lot more decent at this price point. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* I liked the Qrevo line, altho I prefer the S8/Saros line for their mops. While the tech feels a little outdated to me, the S5V has a few little upgrades to the suction and the roller design that make it worthwhile at this price. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1E209CQWY09EI?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_6)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1I876TQNP7R2I?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_4)|849.99|419.99|50%| |[Ecovacs T30S COMBO](https://amzn.to/4pxNCqa)|1199.99|449.99|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://amzn.to/48CuYYw)|899.99|499.99|44%| |[eufy X10 Pro Omni, black](https://amzn.to/4pTFKAp)|899.99|499.99|44%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) At this price point, you are going to get some previous flagship, high end models that its reasonable to have high expectations of. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* the 3i P10 Ultra. For a machine that does everything this does, as well as it does? This is the actual steal at this price point. It feels like a new brand, but its not, remember 3i has been making everyone else's robots for years. I'm so impressed w this model line, and I'm not the only one. Google around. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* As a flagship, I thought the Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni [could do better](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) with large debris, but overall, was still impressed. What sticks out to me is how good looking it was. But with the price dropped to $700, I'm comfortable recommending it. The extending roller mop was my first to try, and I thought it did a good job as it reached to the wall and under toekicks. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* I guess the S1 Pro? People in this sub love this model, [I did not](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), but it wasn't the worst. ::shrug:: *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* This time last year, I thought the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra was the [best unit on the market](https://lifehacker.com/tech/roborock-s8-maxv-ultra-review). A year changes a lot, because there have been so many advancements, but do not mistake that this is still a spectacular vacuum. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i P10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: P10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/266IAZ1CMQ9SB?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_1)|1099.9|650|59%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro, Black](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1KPAGDZB7O3NR?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_B8MRYW3W9PVQCC6T59VF)|1499.99|699.99|53%| |[Ecovacs X9 PRO OMNI](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2I911B3GQ74BQ?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_4)|1299.99|699.99|46%| |[roborock S8 MaxV Ultra](https://amzn.to/43QFGrG)|1899.99|749.99|58%| # [Under $900](https://amzn.to/4oad9oS) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* I talk about it so much that people here think I'm a paid shill (I'm not) but my dream machine is the [3i S10 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G). It has the largest sweeps I've seen, and eats the biggest debris I've seen in a robot, all without getting clogged. It's the best roller mop I've tried (I tried the narwal and the dreame). And.... it has onboard sanitizing and makes its own water so you never have to change out the dirty water or refill it. [Here was my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/3i-s10-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review). Now, that's the good stuff. It also weighs like 50 lbs. It looks like an exhibit at a kids science museum. Some people on here have said it smells mildewy (I haven't experienced that but it makes sense, it IS a dehumidifier, that's how it makes water). You can search for people's impressions and other reviews besides mine, but that's my #1 recco. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L50 Ultra has a noticeable discount, and has many of the charms [I admired in the X50](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-x50-ultra-robot-vacuum-review), like some threshold climbing, some major suction, and hot water cleaning. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* In this price bracket are both the Roborock Slim, the Qrevo and the CurvX. Here's why I ultimately say, go with the CurvX. With the retracting LIDAR, you're still getting a pretty slim robot (though, of course, not AS slim as the Slim), and for $50 more the Curv/Slim, get the CurvX, which has more suction, hot water washing, etc |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_3)|1399.99|849.99|39%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48d8bm9)|1499.99|849.99|43%| |[3i S10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: S10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G)|1299.9|899.99|31%| # [Over $900](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) This is where all the heavy hitters fell. My friend K says that the reason I'm trustworthy is that I'm always telling him to not buy things. So let me start here with what I'm NOT recommending, because you'll ask. I know everyone is excited about the Dreame Aqua and the Narwal Flow, but I think there are better roller mops out there, and I didn't feel either was significantly better than similarly priced non roller mops (the 3i S10). I really didn't love the Aqua, it leaked. The Flow was better. But not better than my picks in this category. The Saros Z70 is a fantastical concept I got super excited about, but wasn't great in practice. I haven't tested the X11, so that's my only reason I'm not recommending it. So what I DO recommend: The two models below are both excellent vacuums, mops and all around robots. They are highly comparable and while you could make yourself crazy comparing, stop. My only issue with vinyl plank is that it often has this long impressions in the vinyl (going the long way of the plank to emulate wood, i guess, or some part of the manufacturing process) and because of that, i think a roller or single mop pad, that also move in one direction, are better suited. Most robots can move between floors, although in doing so, you lose much of the automation of robots (you're doing the moving, not the robot) so i often suggest getting two cheaper robots instead of one more expensive one. but at this price point, that's hard.

I have a Eufy, and the broom/vacuum part is awesome, but the mopping is just okay. It works well if the floor is perfectly level, but it has issues getting into the grout on a tile floor since the grout is lower than the tile surface. But if you're not really looking for a mop feature and just want a vacuum/broom robot, Eufy has been doing a great job for me. Also, that thing may as well be a mountain climber because it happily moves from wood to tile to carpet with no issues. She is a little chatty, though.

I have the Eufy X10 Pro Omni, and the vacuum and sweeping functions work great. If you decide on a Eufy and don't want the mop function at all, I would recommend the EufyRpboVac 11s if you have low pile carpet or the Eufy 15c if you have high pile carpet. They don't have the mop function, just sweeping for wood and tile and vacuuming for carpet. However, it's definitely worth checking out the Roombas and the Sharks, too, because most of them are really good at just the sweeping and vacuuming. It'll come down to what you like the best and your budget. Some are really well priced, but some are a bit expensive compared to others. I hope you find one you like! Other than the not so great mopping, I do like the Eufy.

even if there is no rgb camera, there need to be other advanced sensors like lidar for navigation which can effectively be used to generate an image too, unless you are ready to settle for a low end model that will only change course after it has bumped into something instead of avoiding collisions. If privacy is your top concern, consider getting a model that will work fully offline. This is true for my eufy x10 omni and I believe their entire range, others here will be able to point to more alternatives
