The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is a beast insane suction, rubber brushes that don’t tangle with fur, and it mops too (if you’re into that). For a cheaper but still effective option, the Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid gets the job done with dual brushes and strong suction. If you’ve got a heavy shedder, the iRobot Roomba j9+ is pricey but worth itself-emptying, avoids pet messes like a pro, and handles carpets like a champ. Avoid anything with bristle rollers

The hybrid version does, which is the one I have, though I haven't tried the mop function.

I think 1k is too much for a robot vacumm, you can get them for less than 300usd unless you want one of those that know to dodge poop and automatically empty themselves. I would suggest you to look for laser mapping so it doesn't move randomly. Also check reviews, some update the map on real time if you move furniture, other require you to run them in mapping mode. Also check the running time or m2 in the specs. Regarding self charge, all of them too. I think this does that and it is just 130USD [https://www.amazon.com/-/es/aspirador-trapeador-navegaci%C3%B3n-tecnolog%C3%ADa-Tecnolog%C3%ADa/dp/B08XJRXJPV](https://www.amazon.com/-/es/aspirador-trapeador-navegaci%C3%B3n-tecnolog%C3%ADa-Tecnolog%C3%ADa/dp/B08XJRXJPV) The version without mop has a bigger dust deposit. Mine is an iHub x8 which I believe is the same as the abir x8 which probably is the same as the eufy x8. They look all the same just different label. The difference is that my country is horribly overpriced and it cost 800usd instead of 130usd. Though since your budget is so high, check if there is something cooler.

Morning all, Hoping to get a recommendation on a robot mop and vacuum because honestly reading all the reviews is starting to send me batty and every time I think i find a decent one there are then like 10 comments saying to avoid it so hoping to get some recommendations from real people. I currently have a eufy x8 which is fine but the mopping function is useless and it gets tangled fairly often. It is super handy though because with 2 dogs I can't be bothered vacuuming every day but still want the house looking decent. I probably would have just kept this for another year or 2 but I had surgery a few months ago which left me unable to lift a mop bucket and the proper vacuum for 2 months so I realised having a robot that can do a good job on both would be so helpful. Hybrid plank flooring throughout the house with a few area rugs. One level house so no stairs or anything. 2 dogs, wirey terrier and short haired great Dane cross. I have heard the ecovacs Max pro is good but then some reviews mentioned the mop head not raising 18mm and constantly getting the carpet, the t30s combo looked really good to and has the additional stick vac which would be so handy but some reviews weren't kind to the mopping capabilities of it. Any help would be great thanks! If it helps I was looking at the eufy x10 pro omni (really good price atm), ecovacs t30s combo (stick vac would be super handy), ecovacs t50 pro and t50 Max pro (not really sure what the difference is other than the colour and $300)

I got a 30c to see if they were any good and was impressed. Then got an x8 which was a real upgrade. Picks up more dust and fur than the original

Same - Our new Eufy x8 has done much better than the 3 different Roombas we tried before it - pets and ladies in this house and I love that it cleans its rollers too. I’d highly recommend it!

I really didn't like the l60, but have the x8 and it works really well considering all the hair in the house. I don't have the dock so don't know if that would make a difference.

We love ours. Had the X8 model with the docking station for just over 12 months. We just use the vacuum function, not the mop. It doesnt do as good job as a human with a normal vacuum. We manually go over the tight corners and edges every month or so. But it does a great job on the main floor area, both carpet and laminate. Ours is set on a plug timer every tuesday night at 3am to charge for 3 hours, then it automatically powers up and cleans our downstairs at 6am, which takes it 40 mins. It then goes back to its dock and empties itself. Usually finishes with about 15% battery left. This 15% is fully drained while it is asleep in the next 24hours and the robovac auto shuts down until its next charge on the following tuesday. Every fortnight I manually charge it for 3 hours and set it off upstairs which it completes in a similiar 40 mins to downstairs. It hasnt figured out how to do the stairs yet 😂 The only feature I think missing is an auto shutdown feature. Not had to deal with customer services or warranty as no issues.

We started with a Eufy X8 in 2023 (for £320) after our second child arrived and the hoovering just wasn't getting done. We were very happy with it but it lasted 13 months before one of the sensors gave up and it wouldn't operate any more. It was outside the 12m Eufy guarantee so they were useless. Luckily had bought through amazon who happened to have a 24m guarantee on it. We switched to a Samsung JetBot at similar price point with a 5y guarantee. Am happy with it but I think the eufy did a better job of hoovering, particularly with my wife's long hairs from the carpet. But I was disappointed with eufy's longevity so wouldn't go back to them unless they increase their guarantee. Both of these had mapping software so they went around in an organised/efficient route. The Eufy mapping was better than Samsung. Samsung can't cope with multiple floors. Ours lives in the kitchen where it goes around 3 times a day clearing up crumbs etc. We live in a house so we have to carry it to different floors when we need other rooms done.

I have the G30 and X8. G30 croaked within a year. They sent me a used replacement which is working fine after almost 4 years of usage. But battery life is whack. X8 sucked big time from the get go. It didn’t do a good job cleaning like the G30. And right after 1 year, the WiFi dropped all of a sudden. And I can’t get it to connect to my network. Tried everything. X8 is a POS! On another note, I tried the Roomba J6+ about 7 months ago. That shit was whack! Returned it after using it for about a week. Thank God for Costco!

While I do not yet own a Yeedi S14 Plus I do own a Yeedi Cube. It's been with me for a over a year now. The brand itself is essentially a sub-brand of Eco-Vac (think Lexus vs Toyota) with Yeedi being the latter. The performance has been great relative to its pricing, the parts still work well and the mop is using a single pad vibration mechanism. This is not as good as my Deebot T30's dual spinning mop pad system but it's enough to remove most winter time salt stains from my tile flooring as well as most other light to medium intensity dirt marks in a single run. IMO one of the things that makes Yeedi good is that it's durable, it's motor and mopping tech is not as competitive as Narwal or Ecovac (on purpose) but out of all the robo vacs I have owned and used it's the only one I have yet to replace a single part for (dust bin just once). People often buy robo vacs based on feats but the really good ones are the ones that last past the 12 months mark once the wear and tear really kicks in. To play the devils advocate however I will say Yeedi's app is very mediocre compared to most other brands though. In 2025 you still cannot select the number of runs per operations for example. No amount of new hardware will fix a bad app sadly. Btw this isn't some paid/affiliated propaganda lol. I have owned a Narwal Freo, Ecovac Deebot T20 and T30, Euxy X8 and the Yeedi Cube (I am a YouTube reviewer so I work with these brands) and I have owned each one for a prolonged period of time and can give you a practical take on it. My fav robo vac to date when taking budget, tech and durability in mind is my now 3 year old Eufy X8 which is old tech but it wins in longevity hands down. Hope this helps! I may review the S14 Plus next month but that's TBD. I will share my unbiased opionion on this thread if it's still open.

The Dream L40 Ultra is OOS in the UK but the L40 Pro Ultra is available, reduced from £799 to £599. I want a vacc and mop for mostly tiles and laminate floors, two large shallow pile rugs. Two cats. My Eufy X8 died a death and I don’t know whether to hold out for better deals on the E25 later in the year.

I've had a eufy x8 for a few years and just got an e28. The difference is pretty huge. The e28 is so much more nimble and quieter and smarter in how it navigated and vacuums. Then you have the mopping which is fairly new feature and then there's the docking stations with all their automation now. Quite a difference just over 2 to 3 years imo.

I got the Eufy hybrid and it mops, as a lightning deal on amazon. Now I cant live without it. Never thought I’d care for a mop. It helps so much, saves my messed up back and saves hubbs’ lungs/allergies. It removes all my old lady shedding hair and that of my cats.

We bought our Eufy robo vac/mop last June, since then it's cleaned: 428 Times 317h3m 158380 ft² I would say that the investment was more than worthwhile.

I have 2 eufy mop + vacs and a regular shark. I think they’re amazing! They’re like little drunk robots that get into situations. If I had the dough I’d go for one that empties automatically.
