My girlfriend has hair averaging half her body length, and she sheds like a husky. Eufy X8 Pro SES has handled it like a champ. Not perfect, but I rarely have to get in there and clean it.

Please I need to know, what robot vacuum do you use? I have the Eufy X8 Pro and my Aussie is slowly killing it and I'm so tired of cleaning it out everyday.

I have a eufy. and omg do I love my eufy so much that I bought eufy cameras for my house and a eufy camera doorbell. I'm looking constantly for new eufy products and they don't cost an arm and leg

Two cats and a dog that all shed pretty well and our eufy has been phenomenal so far over the last 7-8 months. Hopefully it continues for many more moons

I second eufy, they are way quieter than roombas. Get the one with Bluetooth because it will alert you when it’s stuck or full and has a couple different cleaning path options.

I got the Eufy X8 Pro SES because I have a German shepherd- HUGE shedder. It’s 50% off right now still! I’m in LOVE - it’s amazing and so worth it- but I don’t do throw rugs, so I’m not sure how it would do with those. [https://a.co/d/a984WML](https://a.co/d/a984WML)

I've bought the eufy x8 pro SES 2 days ago, but it still get tangled with long hair, x8 pro SES and L60 SES is same price here, so I chose the x8, but I don't think it's worth the extra $200 for you. For Q5 pro+ I've found that it doesn't have no mop zone option, that will be a deal breaker if you have carpets/rugs which you don't want to get mopped. So I would suggest you to go for the L60, the hair cutter in base station might be helpful, but don't expect much, so far my understanding is all robot vacuums struggle with long hair, so be prepared to untangle manually occasionally.

Mine is a Eufy X8 Self Emptying. It does a wonderful job. Twin living rooms swept every day (carpets/rugs). I run the normal vacuum round once every few weeks - far less often than I used to need to. Mainly to get to bits that are hard for the robot - edges and around movable furniture. I have a beagle, and my manual vacuuming could never keep up with her shedding. Now the rugs look good every day. Someone else mentioned Shark. I like their kit - my manual vacuum is a Shark - but their robot was not on the UK market when I bought my Eufy. If I ever need to replace this one, I would consider the Shark.

My first robovac was a Eufy X8 Pro, which I loved. I later bought a Shark, and moved the Eufy upstairs. However I found the Shark, while good on hard floors, didn't deal with rugs and dog hairs as well as the Eufy. So they are now swapped, with the Eufy once again doing the rugs, and the Shark dealing with upstairs, which is mainly hard floors or short pile carpets, and less dog hairs.

The Eufy x8 pro self cleans. It does a great job of my wife’s hair! I check it occasionally and sometimes have to remove a couple of hairs with the included hand tool

I grabbed a Eufy x8 pro with the self emptying station on a deep discount sale and have it do the same thing. Couldn't be happier with it. I think the neat thing would be to have it vacuum automatically after the LR4 does a clean cycle, but setting it up with the schedule works fine too.

Don't get the roborock q7 s + I'm trying the Euphy X8 Pro. Just got it yesterday. It did a good job for the first run, but I see potential of the brush getting clogged fast. I have an Australian Shepherd and an Italian wife with BIG hair. This will be a challenge.

I had an original xiaomi robot from like 2016 that worked super well. It's only problem was that xiaomi made it so that you couldn't access the app from the US. So it would work great except you couldn't schedule cleanings, you had to manually start. I wanted to autonate so I bought two Eufy x8 pro SES units ( one for each floor) and that has worked fantastically. I gave the old unit to a friend and they are still using it

I got two Eufy X8 Pro SES's for different levels of my house specifically because they were basically a pretty good vacuum. It has a "mop" which is just a rag that drags the ground, so I have never even used it (could do a good job, never used it). For the power of the vacuum, features, etc. they were very cost competitive. Roborock or Dreame may have better models, but Eufy is inexpensive for what you get. I have been extremely happy with them. I also got a Eufy X10 Pro Omni for the rotating scrubbing brushes, and it does a pretty good job of both vacuuming and mopping.

I have been using my 3i S10 robot for close to 2 months I have used and returned to Amazon the Eufy S1 pro Omni- which was great at mopping but terrible at vacuuming carpet- I also returned the Eufy X8 pro and Flagship Eureka J15. The 3i is the best robot so far it has incredible suction when you set it at either strong or Max. If you need serious mopping you can have it mop 2x I never filled the water tank since set up due to the dehumidifier and water distillation. Also no disgusting dirt water tank to smell and dump and the dirty water splatters everywhere. it also has excellent obstacle avoidance and a pretty decent battery

Same - Our new Eufy x8 has done much better than the 3 different Roombas we tried before it - pets and ladies in this house and I love that it cleans its rollers too. I’d highly recommend it!

I really didn't like the l60, but have the x8 and it works really well considering all the hair in the house. I don't have the dock so don't know if that would make a difference.

I've got a coupe of Eufy models, 1 upstairs (15c) and 1 downstairs (x8). I have multiple dogs, and having the robot run every single day with minimal effort on my part is great, but it does not do as good of a job as a human-operated upright vac. So, I still have to vacuum everything every week anyway, but the place is a lot, lot, lot cleaner between my manual vacuums. Other people are saying to get the self-emptying models, but I'm not sold on that. Reason being, about every third day I have to flip my eufys over and cut off a bunch of dog hair from the roller. So I'm already handling it all the time to clean the roller, so emptying the bin is no big deal. If I just ignore the roller, it starts to just 'bale' the fur instead of picking it up. There's no integration I can get to work between HA and these Eufy devices, I just operate them via manufacturer app on my phone.

While I do not yet own a Yeedi S14 Plus I do own a Yeedi Cube. It's been with me for a over a year now. The brand itself is essentially a sub-brand of Eco-Vac (think Lexus vs Toyota) with Yeedi being the latter. The performance has been great relative to its pricing, the parts still work well and the mop is using a single pad vibration mechanism. This is not as good as my Deebot T30's dual spinning mop pad system but it's enough to remove most winter time salt stains from my tile flooring as well as most other light to medium intensity dirt marks in a single run. IMO one of the things that makes Yeedi good is that it's durable, it's motor and mopping tech is not as competitive as Narwal or Ecovac (on purpose) but out of all the robo vacs I have owned and used it's the only one I have yet to replace a single part for (dust bin just once). People often buy robo vacs based on feats but the really good ones are the ones that last past the 12 months mark once the wear and tear really kicks in. To play the devils advocate however I will say Yeedi's app is very mediocre compared to most other brands though. In 2025 you still cannot select the number of runs per operations for example. No amount of new hardware will fix a bad app sadly. Btw this isn't some paid/affiliated propaganda lol. I have owned a Narwal Freo, Ecovac Deebot T20 and T30, Euxy X8 and the Yeedi Cube (I am a YouTube reviewer so I work with these brands) and I have owned each one for a prolonged period of time and can give you a practical take on it. My fav robo vac to date when taking budget, tech and durability in mind is my now 3 year old Eufy X8 which is old tech but it wins in longevity hands down. Hope this helps! I may review the S14 Plus next month but that's TBD. I will share my unbiased opionion on this thread if it's still open.

Probably either the Eufy X8 Pro, or the Eufy L60. Both have two different systems to prevent that. The L60 has a blade on the base, the X8 a comb near the roller that acts midway through the cleaning program and at the base. Personally I have the Eufy X8 Pro and until now it has been working really well in preventing hair and fur accumulation (from two cats) on the roller.

I owned a Shark Ion Robot for years. It was a random drunken sailor, bumping into everything. Eventually it would clean everywhere but without rhyme or reason. Low pile carpet and vinyl. Then we tried the Envoya Robot Vacuum. It was like a nazi, rigid patterns. It got stuck everywhere, the app was difficult, and I couldn’t map it. This time we are one floor throughout, LVP. No door jambs or anything. We returned it. Next we got the Eufy self-emptying with LIDAR. (Can you hear the angels singing?) What a wonderful vacuum! It maps the perimeter first. Then it goes inside the middle very systematically. It never gets stuck. It slows down because of the LIDAR and doesn’t bump into the furniture. When it docks, it empties in a powerful, long suction. Then a razor runs back and forth across the bar cutting any hair or string. Then it empties again! When it encounters a rug or a spot with extra debris, it automatically increases suction power. I sing its praises. Cost was under $300. Strongly recommend.

Eufy makes great ones and has a very easy app to use. Get one with the emptying station and you can leave it untouched for months. Be sure to follow maintenance recommendations - clean out dust bin every N hours, that sort of thing. If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes.

Gentle cleaning can make some of the parts last longer than they say - in particular the ones with soft rubber/silicone seals. I bought generic (non Eufy brand) bags for my self-emptying station and they work great.
