"If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes."

r/CleaningTips • What's the best robot vacuum for pet hair widely loved and highly recommended by Homeowners today? ->We have a eufy X8 pro. The mop is shite and we never use it. The vac is OK but if you have rugs on your hard floors, it shits the bed as it transitions and dumps out dust. If you can commit to having one floor per room, on one level, it's legit fantastic. For context I complained to eufy, got a whole replacement, and after 6m the new unit does the same as the old one.

r/RobotVacuums • How often do you all have to clean hair from the edges of the rubber brushes? ->I have an Eufy X8 Pro SES, that auto empties itself in the station and omg idk how it does it but its bag can hold tons of hair. I change the bag every 40 days (45 recommended) and it just compacts the hair in there. We have one black lab and 2 fluffy cats. It does amazing with picking pet hair, and it can also mop too.
r/CleaningTips • How do you keep a house “guest ready” without constant effort? ->Same my dog sheds like crazy. If I’m not using a robot vacuum I have to use the broom 5times a day and it’s still bad. We just took her to the groomer for deshedding and it helps but it’s still bad. She’s also one of those long haired black labs. I read a ton of reviewed before buying the Eufy and everyone said it did better than their Roomba which surprised me. If it has one con it’s battery life. I have a 2200sqft house and it runs out of battery before it reaches the last 2 bedrooms so now I set it to clean the living areas first and once it’s fully charged again to clean all bedrooms twice as there’s rugs there.

I’m sure there’s better ones too but I got it for 400$ and have no regrets. About the suction it’s 2 turbines of 4000 each so 8000 total. It has like 4 suction modes and 3 mopping modes depending how strong of a suction you want or how much water to use. It doesn't just smear things around when cleaning heavy stains and the results are sometimes very satisfying. You might give it a try.
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone using a roller mop for more than 3 months? Still recommend it? ->I second eufy, they are way quieter than roombas. Get the one with Bluetooth because it will alert you when it’s stuck or full and has a couple different cleaning path options.

It didn't seem to make any difference on the L60. Was trying to get away from Eufy since I've had so many issues with the L60 and X8 (which doesn't have the cutter).

It did equally as badly as my Eufy x8 Pro, but the blade seemed to make zero difference in the way the brush looked after a cycle.
