Mop Roombas are the best. I got one, it holds 4 liters of soapy water and has a separate container for 4l of dirty water. It'll mop, vacuum and regularly clean itself like magic. Well worth the steep $800 AUD price tag in the long haul, for me at least. Also vacuums like a normal roomba and empties itself. Theoretically you could plumb the water containers and have an infinitely running mop/vacuum roomba. Edit: For context, I own the Eureka j12 ultra
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->Eureka j12 ultra. I bought it a little over 6 months ago, still goes strong. Tremendously happy with the performance.
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->Didn't link anything because I think that breaks the rules - I got the Eureka j12 ultra
r/oddlysatisfying • Cleaning up the mess ->I got J12 ultra a few weeks ago for 300€ and have been using it regularly since then. Pros: - good build quality - base station with mop wash(cold water), base station clean, hot air drying and automatic dust emptying - it avoid the obstacles very well, it rarely hits something (except cables, which is always a problem with vacuum robots anyways) - it can mop the edges by moving its bum :) Cons: - sometimes it cannot detect our carpet properly and tries to mop over it - the vacuum robot is a bit high, therefor might not fit under the couch etc. - we have increased the height of our couch with different legs, which are approximately around 12.5cm, and it doesn't want to vacuum under the couch sometimes. When I choose zone cleaning, it would always go underneath - it lost the map a few times, but after changing his location to somewhere else, it has been working properly - the app lacks the options for scheduled cleaning, such as defining settings per room etc. It only allows to set 1 cleaning option. This is what I could tell atm. Personally, I haven't seen a better option in that price range.
r/RobotVacuums • Is the Eureka J12 Ultra at 400€ a good deal for a first robot? ->Ok, with the latest update it has become a quite better experience. The scheduled cleaning now allows me to set the cleaning mode (vacuum only, vaccuk and mop etc) as well as allows to select specific rooms. It also brings deep mopping mode etc. Very happy with it so far!
r/RobotVacuums • Is the Eureka J12 Ultra at 400€ a good deal for a first robot? ->I got it for 300 euros in discount, and it's definitely worth that price, but I am not sure if would pay the normal price (600 euros) for it.
