Hey, I review robots for a living. Under $800. I would highly recommend the eureka j15 Pro ultra and you don't even have to wait till Prime day. There's a coupon right now so it's 750. Easy to use app, in this price band, this is the robot that most impressed me. I can individually disqualify most of the other models in this price band, but if you look at my threads you'll be able to see all of that anyways

Stand by what I said. J15 pro ultra

yeah. for the hair, you need something with razors in the roller. I think the Eureka J15 line is really unparalleled in that way. And I like the machine generally, too. I think its a good value when on sale. The larger sweepers are effective at getting debris off the floor. I've tried the J15 ultra, the J15 pro and the J15 max pro and I've been happy w all three. You can see them all here: [https://amzn.to/4iiCA5F](https://amzn.to/4iiCA5F) (<- that's an affiliate link, btw)

I've been testing and reviewing robovacs (and other smart home products) for a few years. I test products in my home, rather than an obstacle course, but I am the only one who tests each machine, so its apples to apples. I also have a messy house- pitted tile, rugs, wood floors, and carpet, with a few high transitions. I have a dog (and occasionally, chickens who breach the doggie door to come inside) and am a very physical cook, according to my kitchen floor. You definitely do not have to agree with my choices, but I think I have a different viewpoint than a lot of other outlets, mostly because I am the person responsible for cleaning my home, and I make all buying decisions. I want robots to be the accessibility and labor removing dream of the future, but I like to set realistic expectations. **Under $200** Cheap robots are getting better, and one of my absolute favorites is in this category. But generally speaking, these are vacuums. Yes, they come with mops, but those mops suck. Ignore them and enjoy a cheap, usually pretty good vacuum for the price. Pay attention, because at this price point, some models don't come with towers, meaning you have to empty them yourself, every day or so (unless you live in a VERY clean home). The SwitchBot is tiny. Its like a little M&M moving around your floor, but one that comes with ridiculously high suction power for the price, and a tower. It can get into spaces no other bot can, and it does it shockingly well. Its good on carpet, but shines on hard floors. If you've got carpet, go with the Eureka- its got a dock AND its bagless (which is a big deal to some people). But Eureka has just really figured out how to get a robot to deal with carpet well. I am also a big fan of the 3i G10. I included the Roborock, because look at that price drop, and RR's are, IMO, very reliable. Again... all three of these models have mops. They suck. Don't use them. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Roborock Q8 Max black](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3JOR6YW9B5G7Y?ref_=aipsflist)|$599.99|$169.99|72%| |[Eureka E20 Robot Vacuum](https://amzn.to/40S3qde)|$309.00|$176.99|43%| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=aipsflist)|$399.99|$199.99|50%| **Under $350** Its not even close here. That Dreame L10s was a flagship model, with the features to match. While this particular drop isn't high, this was once an over 1000$ model. Its got a great mop, (spinning pads, no rollers in this price band), sanitizes the pads in the tower, high suction, great nav. I've included the Eureka, even with a not great discount, because if you have a LOT of carpet, you might want to consider it instead. The Eufy in this price band and the Roborocks all have dramatically less features, they're budget robots. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka E20 Evo Plus](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3B7PW181H2UKM?ref_=aipsflist)|$299.99|$249.99|17%| |[Dreame L10s Pro Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1F74O472G0T4G?ref_=aipsflist)|$449.99|$349.98|22%| **Under $500** On features alone, the L40 is the best buy. Outrageous suction, hot water wash, it has a cutter for long hair, etc. BUT.... that Qrevo, despite having less than half the suction of the L40, is better at vacuuming on hard floors and carpet. two reasons: Roborocks are good at positioning the sweep/rollers/suction in a way that works, and also, having a dual roller rather than one helps keep tangles from happening, the extending arm helps a lot to grab under things. I've included the S1, a robot I could not have been less enthused about when [I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), because people love Eufys (I don't) and they love a roller mop. This is the cheapest one available. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2FZ74K5V0W0ZT?ref_=aipsflist)|$649.99|$399.99|38%| |[Eufy S1](https://amazn.so/iVBNAFI)|$1,299.99|$499.99|62%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/24B0YJFIE6TTB?ref_=aipsflist)|$899.99|$499.99|44%| **Under $750** I'm not ashamed to say my flabber was gasted by how competent the Yeedi S16 is. It managed to get the kitchen sparkle-clean after a full day of canning where the floor was a mess. It got debris easily, navigated complicated layouts and did a great job mopping. It had issues with bathmats, but all robots do. The X9 was a far [better mop than vacuum](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) when I tested it as a flagship, but at this lower price, I have few complaints. Its a gorgeous robot and tower, and its a roller mop and people are convinced they're better (I'm iffy, but that's neither here nor there). Finally, I could not let you pass on the J15, which I love as a deep cleaning vacuum with a good mop, but its definitely vacuum forward (and I mean on hard floors, too). The Eurekas have a very well designed triad of big sweep, roller and suction that gets a lot of debris, but more importantly, there's a razor that cuts long hair so it doesn't clog. I'm a fangirl, for sure. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Yeedi S16 Plus](https://amazn.so/syHBN9e)|$899.99|$649.99|28%| |[ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI](https://amazn.so/mT8uLzT)|$1,299.99|$679.00|48%| |[Eureka J15 Pro Ultra](https://amzn.to/4t0faGm)|$999.99|$699.99|30%| **Under $1000** The hill I will die on is that the 3i S10 Ultra is the best robovac, ever. It has it all: Gigantic sweeps which get everything, rollers that never clog, suction that actually picks everything off the floor. A roller mop that works really well. But... sit down. The damn thing sanitizes dirty water and then makes new water by acting as a dehumidifier. *You never change the water.* Like, ever. Sure, it weighs like 70lbs and looks like a kids science museum exhibit, but its quiet and perfect and the child I always wanted :) There have been rumors of 3i's demise, a complicated story involving their company buying iRobot. But.. I have spoken to 3i and they assure me there is absolutely no news about them closing the 3i brand. And, this is is a good price for it (it was $1899 last year). But... if you're gunshy on a "new" brand.... I can make things easy. People are always trying to decide between the Dreame X50 and the Roborock Saros 10/10r. Get the Dreame (its such a steal at this price, and I didn't see a big difference between the X50 and X60 in testing). They try to decide between the Narwal Flow and the Dreame Aqua. Get the Flow (the Aqua leaked). And then, I have to always remind people how freaking awesome the Eureka J15 line is at vacuuming. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i S10 Ultra](https://amazn.so/jEfBGlZ)|$999.99|$799.99|20%| |[DREAME X50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2TBXG31JJKDAZ?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,599.99|$849.99|47%| |[Narwal Flow](https://amazn.so/C7hNQxp)|$1,499.99|$899.99|40%| |[Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/ZVLS0BAELRF2?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,199.99|$899.99|25%| **Over $1000** A testament to how robot prices are coming down, I don't think you should spend more than $1000 right now. There's nothing in that band that I think is a great buy or necessary. If you love to tinker or have a kid that does, there's a good price on the Saros Z70, but its for tinkering. I didn't love it at cleaning, and its an expensive tinker toy. I'm testing the Saros 20 right now, so nothing to report yet. And I don't think anything else in that band stands out. Spend less. **Some notes on recommendations** Whenever I do this, the comments often ask, "but what about the xxxxxx?" or "why didn't you recommend the xxxx?". The answers are, in this order, "it wasn't as good as what I recommended", and "because I didn't want to" :P If you still want to buy something I didn't recommend, go for it! For instance, I am not recommending any iRobots right now. I'm happy they were acquired and really excited at what Picea (which owns 3i) may bring to the brand. But the existing lineup sucks. I'm iffy on Ecovacs, and at certain price points they're worth recommending, but I've never found a flagship I thought was great. People love Eufy bots, but I've rarely been impressed. Still, one made the list. I based this list on what was for sale, not every robot available. I think these are good buys and I think you should buy them from Amazon or Costco. Costco, if you can, because of their return policy, and Amazon because they hassle you less on returns than the brands themselves, do, a real swing and a miss for the brands, IMO. I only tested the Eureka in an attempt to make sure I was branching out from the usual suspects (Dreame, Roborock, Ecovacs, Eufy). I didn't expect much because honestly, legacy brands that try to transition to smart home always screw it up, IMO. So far, I've tested three of the J15 line. And they're not the best robovacs I've ever tested... usually higher end models inhabit that space. But I admit I was surprised by how well they performed. I found myself noticing the quiet, and this was the model that helped drill home how important that triad is under the robot. The sweep, the roller, the suction. No matter how high the Pa is, if those aren't in the right design, the suction doesn't pull enough debris. I guess my point is that it turned out to be a very reliable model, it was consistent. The razor did a very good job cutting hair so it didn't cause problems. I thought the app was very easy to use. I wasn't overwhelmed. My main complaint is that the robot is overly tall and the tower not very attractive. That's why I recommend them as much as I do. For under $500, they're an exceptional pick. (when on sale, obvs)

I literally just had this convo in a PM w someone from rtings. I do. I thought the L40 was a better robot than most Dreame models, and while I didn't find it worth the value at the original price, I do think its worth it on sale. The P10 doesn't have longevity, IMO, because I think they skimp on hardware to keep the costs down. That's my hot take, and I totally get that I'm an island (I also dislike Eufy, and people in this sub love them) but I use a different testing method than most other testers (I test in an actual home setting), and I stand by it. The thing is, in that band, the L40 is my last pick. I'd get either the J15 or 3i before I got the L40. In the end, the model you pick is likely going to be fine, regardless. you haven't tested 100 robovacs, so like a virgin on your wedding night, it's all probably gonna seem great. if you feel strongly about the P10, go for it.

3i is only new because they have been making robots for everybody else for many years. Eureka is not a new brand at all. The j15 is theirs. Eureka has been in vacuums forever. I mean I would go with the most expensive one that you can reasonably afford.

long hair, you need a robot with a razor cutter. under 400 isn't very realistic...but this model is within reach. [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) 489.99

Hey. I've listed every [single price](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nvsulx/every_robovac_on_sale_for_amazon_big_deal_days/) for the Big Deal Days sale, and my recommendations [per price band](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nzbtex/big_deal_day_recommendations_by_price_band_these/). However, I'm getting the same questions over and over, so here's some additional context. # Best Robot for Long Hair (human or pet) Hair is the foil of all robot vacuums. It doesn't just wrap around the rollers, it also gets wrapped around the sweeps and the wheels, and while it doesn't hurt the robot, it will make it less effective, and require you to clean it more often. This isn't a problem with short haired pets (they have a different problem). Yes, having high suction is important, but it doesn't always translate to getting more debris up. In the case of long hair, nothing beats a razor cutter on the robot, and the only line that has one that I recommend is the Eureka J15 line. I like this line a lot for other reasons, too, but if you've got a long hair problem, this is the answer. There are J15s at a number of price points. [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) [Eureka J15 Evo Ultra](https://amzn.to/42tMbQF) [Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://amzn.to/46UkK3x) # Best Robot for Short Haired Pets Now, you have a different problem, which is sticky hair. Short hair sticks to the floor, it climbs the walls, and you need a sweep that will effectively get it off the ground and move it toward the roller, where the vacuum can capture it. The sweep plays a critical role here, and the sweeps that are most effective are large, in constant contact w the ground, and move in opposite directions. Eufy e25/e28 have the right design for this, but I don't recommend them for other reasons. The models that I've found that do this best are the 3i G10, P10 and S10. I love these models for other reasons, but those sweeps seal the deal for me on short hair. It's just a bonus that they are also the only models that can suck up cat litter without clogging. [3i G10+](https://amzn.to/48znS7N) [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y) [3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe) # Best Robot for Carpet If you've got a whole house of carpet, I like the Dreame X50, Dreame L40, Eureka J15 Ultra, and Switchbot K11+. That's not to say other robots suck at vacuuming, they don't. But I like these models specifically on carpet, and if you've just got one room with carpet, consider getting the K11+ for that room alone. Its cheap and great at navigating under beds, etc. [Dreame X50 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h77Wfa) [Dreame L40 Ultra](https://amzn.to/48Rswhk) [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) [SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O) # Best Robot for LVP Lots of people have LVP and want something specialized for it. In truth, there's nothing special about it. A robot good at hard floors will work for LVP. There aren't really robots that leave a lot of water behind anymore. # Best Robot for Area Rugs This is not a model specific problem, its a rug problem. Rugs have to be well anchored to the ground (a grip pad isn't going to cut it forever), and the lower the profile, the better. Think Ruggables. If a rug starts to roll up on an end, the robot is going to have trouble. If a rug has fringe, its a bad match for a robot. Even bathroom rugs are rough for robots. All that said, a robot with a lifting chassis is going to have an easier time getting onto a rug. Think X50, Saros 10/10r, CurvX. [Dreame X50 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h77Wfa) [Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48PvS4j) [Saros 10/10r](https://amzn.to/4nyiwy5) # Best Robot for Small Spaces Get a Switchbot K11+. That is all. It's a vacuum only, but costs next to nothing, and is shockingly full of premium features. It also is a effective vacuum, getting into places no other robot can because of its size. [SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O) # Best Robot for Corners This doesn't exist. No robot is great at corners. In fact, most robots aren't great at the "edges" of rooms, they're mostly good at the main open area of a room. You have to let this go. The best you can do is get a robot with extending sweeps/brushes. A lot of robots have these now, and they're one of the best features. # Best Robot if You're Hellbent on a Roller Mop Everyone in this Reddit forum is convinced rollers are the end all/be all of mops. I disagree. They're fine. But if you're just absolutely determined to get one, get the Flow. Eufy's e25/e28 models were riddled with errors, and Dreame's roller mop leaks and streaks. The Flow was easily the best of the bunch. [Narwal Flow](https://amzn.to/3IxMoLX) # Best Robot for People with ADHD Also, my favorite robot. The point of a robot, for me, is autonomy. I want it to do the damn job, with as little required of me as possible. Otherwise, I might as well do the job myself. While most robots do help, they also require upkeep and new, consistent input. Change the water, change the filter, unclog it, find it where it got stuck on a cord, etc. And then, I tried the 3i S10, which i had zero expectations of, because I'd never heard of the brand. This is the robot to get if you're overwhelmed and just want the job done. It vacuums EVERYTHING without clogging. Does it silently. It mops well, and both makes its own water and sanitizes the water it recycles so you never have to change the water. It's got downsides: its effing HUGE and heavy. It looks like an exhibit at a science museum. Its expensive, and some people say it smells musty (it makes water via a dehumidifier, so that makes sense). But readers, I would marry mine. [3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe) \------------------------------- For some context, I [write about robovacs](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1l48fms/i_write_about_robot_vacuums_for_a_living_ama/) both for an online pub and my own site. I shared similar information and advice for [Prime Day](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1ljl8wd/prime_day_deals/), and people were generally pretty [happy](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1m0sjou/amanda_amanda_amanda_the_dreame_l40_is_amazing/) w the recommendations from the feedback. Hi. I also have long hair, and I'm from AZ so I get the DUST. So, at this budget, you're not going to get it all.... large debris like cheerios you might get away with, but you're absolutely going to have to do a sweep for big baby/kid messes before running the robot. Depends HOW shaggy the carpet is, whether it'll be problematic. But, since you're dealing with long hair, get a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY). it has a razor that cuts the hair so its not a problem. When you get it, stock up on extra filters. That AZ dust kills the filters on these vacuums, so change it out every 3 months, and clean it once a month.

Skip both. Get a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) or a [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y). Short fur makes me lean towards the 3i, but since its half carpet, the J15 is also great. I like that both of these have giant sweeps that are in constant contact with the floor, and are smoking deals under $500.

Get a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY). Under budget, cuts long hair, and honestly, you don't need much. no pets, no kids, just dust? Almost anything is going to be great. But this is the one I'd get.

ugh. i have some tough news, buddy. I also have a dog and puppy prints are a stain. think about your floor this way. When stains are wet, robots do a fine job, its just about viscosity of the stain. wet muddy pawprints requires more passes than clean wet pawprints. But DRY pawprints? the first pass is just to wet them. You need subsequent passes to get that moisture through the stain and then remove it. Muddy prints? takes longer. And no robot has the same downward pressure you do on a mop. Point being... don't set expectations too high on this metric. Robots will fail. But when i say the vibrating mop pad is better than spinning mops? I'm referring to this specific situation. That all said, yeah.... I like the [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY).

oh Canada.... ugh. The truth us you don't have the robot I want you to get (the 3i S10 Ultra) and every other one is going not be up to the challenge of your household. So... here's what I think. Get a fleet. Get a fleet of cheaper robots, one per floor, so they each have a tiny domain, and are less likely to get clogged by kid mess and long hair. AND... if one goes out of commission, you've got 2 back ups. I'd recommend the [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) because of the long hair and messes. But no matter what, you're going to have to sweep for kids toys and dropped food. No robot is going to handle those.

Honestly, you don't need much. You've got a clean floor and you're just looking to keep it clean. Get a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) or a [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y), but honestly, you may be able to get away with a [3i G10+](https://amzn.to/48znS7N).

Yup. You're screwed on the textured tile and as someone who lives w that as well, it blows. I've got some suggestions separately for that. For the dust bunnies.... I'm thinking you've got 2 options. The [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) which will dispatch the long hair w a razor blade, and still be a great mop and vacuum, or the [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y), as you suggested. Skip the other options. It's a toss up because the 3i is better at capturing debris, but the j15 will handle the hair better.

I mean, I don't know that's true. if you could stretch, man I'd love to see you w a 3i S10, but its $1100. I think it could handle it all including that maintenance in between. But yeah.... you're gonna need to do some manual work too. I mean, Roombas are not awesome. I'm sorry about the Roborock issue. For that much hair, I guess I'd say, go with a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY), but really, all of this is a temporary band aid at best.

nice small space, you just have a lot of hair. Get a [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y). Its a nice, middle of the road option.

don't get a shark. get the [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY).

Get a [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY). Under $500, equally good on carpet and hardwood, and its a great mop and vacuum, equally. You don't need much. No pets, no big challenges. You're going to be happy with most robots.

yeah. for the hair, you need something with razors in the roller. I think the Eureka J15 line is really unparalleled in that way. And I like the machine generally, too. # [Under $300](https://amzn.to/48R0G4J) Generally speaking, I think its rare you find a great robot at this price, and I've discussed why there's some sense in [not spending the money on real discount robots](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/). Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the [K10+ Pro](https://lifehacker.com/tech/switchbot-k10-plus-robot-vacuum-review) on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. I, personally, do not enjoy Eufy models, and on the whole, [did not enjoy the E20](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufys-e20-robot-vacuum-ces-2025). I thought it was clunky and not particularly great at any of the 3 things it was trying to do, but people in this sub LOVE Eufy, so at this price point, if you're so determined, this is the one I'd get. In a similar vein, if you love Roborock, a brand I usually recommend highly, I usually think you should grab the most expensive one you can afford (with some exceptions). In this case, its the Q10 X5+, which is the least expensive RR model with auto empty. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_ZETGMH20VCWTGQZB8K55)|399.99|199.99|50%| |[3i G10+ (Extra 5% off code: G10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/FVNUE2WZGPL6?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_2)|449.99|229.99|49%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20](https://amzn.to/4oi284o)|449.99|297.49|34%| |[Roborock Q10 X5+](https://amzn.to/4pDZjfb)|499.99|299.99|40%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* The [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eurekas-j15-pro-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review) is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. Rarely got stuck on anything or reported errors, and it was just really reliable. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L40 Ultra is a great deal at half off, and I thought it did a great job getting into spaces, but wasn't great at mapping originally when[ I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-l40-ultra-robot-vacuum-review). But it was a damn good vacuum, and a pretttty ok mop. if you find that take disappointing, at this price point, you're still asking a lot of a robot, so set expectations appropriately. I mention the Ecovacs T30S for the same reason as the Eufy 3-in-1. Altho I found it a bit of a pain to put away attachments each time you wanted to use the handheld, I can see the advantage of having a combo unit instead of separate stick and robot. And, [in my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-t30s-combo-review), I did think both did a relatively good job, and the sale on this unit is hard to ignore. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* Get the X10 Pro Omni. it was the first Eufy in a while [I didn't hate](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review), it was actually pretty decent. Its a lot more decent at this price point. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* I liked the Qrevo line, altho I prefer the S8/Saros line for their mops. While the tech feels a little outdated to me, the S5V has a few little upgrades to the suction and the roller design that make it worthwhile at this price. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1E209CQWY09EI?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_6)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1I876TQNP7R2I?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_4)|849.99|419.99|50%| |[Ecovacs T30S COMBO](https://amzn.to/4pxNCqa)|1199.99|449.99|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://amzn.to/48CuYYw)|899.99|499.99|44%| |[eufy X10 Pro Omni, black](https://amzn.to/4pTFKAp)|899.99|499.99|44%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) At this price point, you are going to get some previous flagship, high end models that its reasonable to have high expectations of. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* the 3i P10 Ultra. For a machine that does everything this does, as well as it does? This is the actual steal at this price point. It feels like a new brand, but its not, remember 3i has been making everyone else's robots for years. I'm so impressed w this model line, and I'm not the only one. Google around. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* As a flagship, I thought the Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni [could do better](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) with large debris, but overall, was still impressed. What sticks out to me is how good looking it was. But with the price dropped to $700, I'm comfortable recommending it. The extending roller mop was my first to try, and I thought it did a good job as it reached to the wall and under toekicks. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* I guess the S1 Pro? People in this sub love this model, [I did not](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), but it wasn't the worst. ::shrug:: *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* This time last year, I thought the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra was the [best unit on the market](https://lifehacker.com/tech/roborock-s8-maxv-ultra-review). It has the largest sweeps I've seen, and eats the biggest debris I've seen in a robot, all without getting clogged. It's the best roller mop I've tried (I tried the narwal and the dreame). And.... it has onboard sanitizing and makes its own water so you never have to change out the dirty water or refill it. [Here was my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/3i-s10-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review). Now, that's the good stuff. It also weighs like 50 lbs. It looks like an exhibit at a kids science museum. Some people on here have said it smells mildewy (I haven't experienced that but it makes sense, it IS a dehumidifier, that's how it makes water). You can search for people's impressions and other reviews besides mine, but that's my #1 recco. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L50 Ultra has a noticeable discount, and has many of the charms [I admired in the X50](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-x50-ultra-robot-vacuum-review), like some threshold climbing, some major suction, and hot water cleaning. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* In this price bracket are both the Roborock Slim, the Qrevo and the CurvX. Here's why I ultimately say, go with the CurvX. With the retracting LIDAR, you're still getting a pretty slim robot (though, of course, not AS slim as the Slim), and for $50 more the Curv/Slim, get the CurvX, which has more suction, hot water washing, etc |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_3)|1399.99|849.99|39%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48d8bm9)|1499.99|849.99|43%| |[3i S10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: S10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G)|1299.9|899.99|31%| # [Over $900](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) This is where all the heavy hitters fell. My friend K says that the reason I'm trustworthy is that I'm always telling him to not buy things. So let me start here with what I'm NOT recommending, because you'll ask. I know everyone is excited about the Dreame Aqua and the Narwal Flow, but I think there are better roller mops out there, and I didn't feel either was significantly better than similarly priced non roller mops (the 3i S10). I really didn't love the Aqua, it leaked. The Flow was better. But not better than my picks in this category. The Saros Z70 is a fantastical concept I got super excited about, but wasn't great in practice. I haven't tested the X11, so that's my only reason I'm not recommending it. So what I DO recommend: The two models below are both excellent vacuums, mops and all around robots. They are highly comparable and while you could make yourself crazy comparing, stop. You'll be delighted with EITHER. I promise. These are great sale prices. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame X50 ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_1)|1699.99|999.99|41%| |[Roborock Saros 10R](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3QN77VNVN022D?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_3GVYP91HJC73QH3A2XK1)|1599.99|999.99|34%| If you're looking for ALL the models on sale for Black Friday, they're [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1p2d4qy). Let's set realistic expectations. Support for almost all these brands sucks. Its not what we'd expect. Eureka is better than most, believe it or not, because its US based. If you liked the E20, I'd really look at the J15 line.

I think the MaxV Ultra (not the Max) is one of the best vacuums Roborock ever made. I Liked the S8 Pro too, but the MaxV was better. But I'll tell you what, I think that J15 is a STEAL at that price and I liked it on carpet.

Dyson really had a swing and a miss with the visnav. It SUCKS and it shouldn't!!! But, its time to let go of the notion that Dyson is "the best vacuum". I learned this when Samsung sent me their stick vacuum and it blew the socks off all the Dyson's I'd tested. So... skip it. If you have pets, the issues are 2fold. First, you gotta get the hair off the floor. Once it gets up the floorboards, no robot can get it. To get it off the floor, you need sweeps that are really good. In my opinion, only a few companies are doing that. 3i and Eufy. One piddly sweep on the side isn't gonna cut it. You need two sweeps, and they need to have contact w the floor. Now unfortunately, the Eufy e25/28 that have this feature suck, IMO, for other reasons. 3i's are gigantic, move in opposite directions and are always in contact w the floor. They work exceptionally well. Part 2- you want a vacuum with a razor that cuts the hair. Again, only a few do this. Some Dreame models, Eureka's J15 line and 3i. Now, I'm a 3i stan. I think its spectacular, but its not for everyone... so you have to figure out what other priorities you have. Does the tower need to look nice? Dreame wins there. Do you have large debris or just dog hair? Large debris? Only 3i. More carpet than hard floor? Eureka. Usually, when people have pets, I steer them towards the best Eureka J15 they can afford. Most are quite happy. I have a short hair dog who sheds incessantly and drags in mulch from outside and general mud/dirt, and I love the 3i s10. I know lots of people with Dreame x40/x50/x60 that have pets and are happy. Anything in those product ranges will prob suit you well. I feel like I just this conversation in another thread..... here's precisely what I said, same thing here. The Pro 8 was a great robot, but there have been LEAPS and bounds since then. I have the f25 as well, and I'm a big fan. (altho, honestly, the Narwal is even better) If you have pets, the issues are 2fold. First, you gotta get the hair off the floor. Ok so I have bought 3 robovacs in the last month. a cheap roborock with no dock, a j15 ultra and a ecovacs omni. By far the best mapping was roborock. But the other two vacs are better as they mop and have docks. The eureka j15 pro ultra is the best but the ecovacs isn't much worse for half the price. I paid 250 for the roborock, 650 for the ecovacs and 1200 for the eureka j15. My favourite is the j15 pro ultra and its not much different to the j15 ultra going for 900 now. The battery lasts way longer than the ecovacs omni but both do about the same level of cleaning. I run both mine twice a day just to see how they go and my floors have never been cleaner, whatever way you go a robot vac is awesome. Just schedule in and it cleans, best m9ney I've spent in a while. And yes I do need a couple as I have a large house. This is australia pricing aswell and I bought on the Amazon sales so they were cheap.

I went through a similar rabbit hole recently and tried a few different robots at friends’ houses before buying one, so here’s the honest takeaway. First, the issues you mentioned with the **T50 Pro Max Omni** (cords, lifting itself, mop dragging marks) are actually pretty common with Ecovacs lately. Their obstacle avoidance can be pretty inconsistent compared to Roborock or Dreame. Since you’ve got **mostly tile + some low carpet, long hair, and a dog**, the big things you want are good anti-tangle brushes, reliable navigation, and a base station that properly washes the mop pads. From the list you mentioned, here’s how they generally stack up based on owner feedback and testing: **Roborock Qrevo Curv / Qrevo Edge 2 Pro** These are probably the safest picks overall. Roborock’s navigation and mapping are extremely reliable and the app is one of the best. The dual spinning mop pads clean tile well, and the anti-tangle brush design helps a lot with long hair. **Dreame X40 Ultra / X50 Ultra** These are the “tech heavy” options. Dreame’s obstacle avoidance is excellent and they’re very good at avoiding cables and small objects. They also have extending mop pads for edge cleaning which works great on tiled homes. **Narwal Freo Z Ultra** Narwal is probably the best for **mopping performance specifically**. The base station washes and dries the mop pads very well, but vacuum power is slightly behind Roborock and Dreame. **Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat** A good mid-high tier option. Heated mop washing is nice and it performs well overall, just not as advanced as the X40/X50 series. **Eufy Omni models (E25 / S2)** Solid robots but generally a step behind Roborock/Dreame when it comes to mapping and obstacle avoidance. **Eureka (like the J15 Pro Ultra)** Worth mentioning too. Some of the newer Eureka robots use rotating mop pads and even hot-water mop washing in the dock, which helps keep the pads hygienic and improves cleaning performance. () They also include features like anti-tangle systems and strong suction on newer models. () That said, some reviewers note that obstacle detection and navigation can still struggle with things like cables compared to the top Roborock/Dreame models. () If I were buying again with your setup (tile floors, long hair, dog, baby coming soon), I’d probably go: 1. **Roborock Qrevo Curv** – most reliable overall 2. **Dreame X40 or X50 Ultra** – best obstacle avoidance and strong suction 3. **Narwal Freo Z Ultra** – best mopping performance 4. **Eureka J15 Pro Ultra** – interesting tech and good mopping ,best pick out of all i would say One small tip with any robot: even the best ones still struggle with **loose charging cables**, so using cable clips or running them behind furniture helps a lot. If anyone here has the **X50 Ultra or Qrevo Curv long-term**, I’d love to hear how the anti-tangle brush is holding up after a few months.

I posted my experience above and what vac works for my hairy household haha ! Long story short , Dyson ( with the exception of a cheaper housewarming gift bissel) was the fastest we killed a vac with our hair so we returned it vs warranty claim . I’m not a diehard eureka fan but so far they have hit home runs on our standard vac and robot , and I can’t wait to upgrade to the J15 series ! The hair cutting tech is a must with 3 long hair humans and a double coat shedding shepsky that thinks she’s a cat + a cat that thinks he’s a dog lol

I’m a fan of the Eureka robot series ( have the E20 but plan to upgrade to the J series) or any pet/hair specific models they have. I have a shepsky, my wife is Pacific Islander with hair to her butt , I have hair past my shoulder blades , and our son has long hair as well . The hair cutting roller device on our normal vac has allowed us to not need to replace our vac within the first year , Dyson included on the list that failed within a year ! The J15 pro also has a hot mop and dry feature with rotating pads! I picked the E20 series because I’m not quite sold on needing disposable bags for the collection bin and the E series houses in a container similar to a vac .

My eureka j15 pro ultra has been great with vacuuming, mopping and avoidance is a major plus. Only issue i have had in 4 months is it lost it's bluetooth connection and had to reconnect it which was very easy per the app.

I recommend the Eureka j15 Pro ultra unit. Had mine 5 months now and am very impressed with it. Love the scissor cutting feature, after 5 months, not 1 hair on my main roller brush. Does a great job vacuuming and for the dual spinning mop pads does a great job mopping too.

Haven't tried roborock or dreame but see mixed reviews on all the brands. I ended up with the eureka j15 pro ultra and satisfied with it.

I was comparing a few robot vacuums recently and ended up going with an Eureka model. Honestly didn’t expect much, but the suction and mapping turned out to be way better than I thought for the price. Apparently eureka and forbes are different in india. You may consider their eureka j15 pro model.
