This increases airflow and the ability to pick up fine dust and hair. It also requires very little maintenance like cutting hair from the brush roller. It navigates very well and the app is very good with napping and selecting scheduled cleaning. The consumables are very inexpensive too. I've been using ILife for a long time and I'm very happy with them. I have hardwood throughout my house and have had more expensive robots but this one is the one to get.

Whichever brand you plan to buy, first understand how the service works. For ilife I had to ship it to Delhi and was asked to pay 3/4th of the entire unit cost to repair. Its all good until it stops working. So, have a clear understanding of the warranty, parts covered and most of all, where are the service centre’s.

Ilife, mi, dremio. Spares are available. Service is good. In india. My 2019 mi robo still works. Its battery is fown 50% but it works. Battery is avaulable for 2.3k for replacement.

Battery costs 2k. My 2019 robo still runs. But its battery lasts only for 1 hr instead of 2 hrs when it was new. Dont trash your robo because a spare part is gone bad. Buy a robo which has spares available.

Ive had two iLife vacuums for 10 years and a Roborock for 2 years. They work perfectly fine. Specifically for the iLife robots, I’ve replaced batteries, brushes, filters, motors and taken them apart and deep cleaned them. Just fyi — dust/hair buildup on the motors and electrical components like the circuit board inside the unit is an environment that can heat up things up. Heat is the WORST thing for electronics. Taking apart your vacuums (if you are comfortable doing so) and deep cleaning them every 6-12 months or so is paramount in keeping them lasting a long time. AliExpress/Amazon is your best friend for parts ;)

Well you have an S7. You can find parts on eBay like the charging station, and for brushes and stuff I’d say Amazon or AliExpress (much cheaper, may be hit or miss on quality and you have to wait longer). Could be worth it if you use it. I’d have ChatGPT tell you everything it can do. If you want a brand new one, I’d actually point you to the iLife brand for budget vacuums that work very well. I have two iLife’s that are 10 years old and still running. Or if you want to stick with Roborock maybe look at the q revo series. Those are awesome ones. I have one and love it

I did some research and got an iLife robot vacuum. It was like $125 about 7 years ago on amazon. And it’s still working as great. This one doesn’t have a bristle roll, so it’s better for pet hair cause it only has suction. GSD hair can get tangled in the roomba bristle roll.
